Administrative detention can be renewed forever. Libby Kahane
In response to the Har Nof Massacre, according to Rabbi Daniel Travis, HaRav Sternbuch, Posek HaDor said that such tragedies do not come in a vacuum and that we must be introspective. If we go beKeri with Hashem, in happenstance, then so will Hashem go beKeri with us.
One of the Tikkunim Rav Sternbuch mentioned was to end Machlokes.
My deepest hope is that Chareidi Rabbanim express solidarity with the Dati Leumi community, and voice their concern and protest on behalf of Meir Ettinger and Evyatar Slonim who are imprisoned under dangerous conditions as well as the other hilltop youth. Surely it would help to unite two religious yet diverse communities who are Shomrei Torah UMitzvoth! The Chareidi community whose emphasis is on keeping Kedusha within the camp and the Dati Leumi community whose emphasis is reaching the actualization of the Mitzvoth of the Torah in Eretz Yisroel. They might seem like conflicting paradigms but indeed they are merely different perspectives which can be reconciled.
Dear Chareidim. This requires education and an open mind on your part. Don't simply rely on what people are saying, Dibah Raah, about Meir Ettinger and on the hilltop youth.
Is Meir Ettinger worthy of nonstop Administrative Detention and does he indeed pose a threat to the people of Israel.
Agreed that his call for a Torah rule of law does pose a threat to the existing non Torah court system.
Rabbi Daniel Travis from Har Nof in his recent lecture in the Agudah of Madison in Brooklyn, in Rabbi Reisman's shul, mentioned that there is a Mishne which says that Eliyahu comes when we do whatever we can. He quoted Rabbeinu Efraim which says that Hashem demands we do actions to bring Moshiach. Rabbi Travis emphasized that according to the Gedolim the most important thing is Ichpatiyut, which means that we feel the pain of our fellow Jew and connect with their suffering and empathize with what is going on. He also emphasized the need to strengthen our Emunah.
I see here an opportunity for Chareidi Rabbanim to end Machlokes and show how true unity can be accomplished.
The court system in Eretz Yisroel is not the way it should be. Meir Ettinger and the hilltop youth are trying to change the status quo. But they are bearing the brunt of the struggle on their own. Some of them minors. Literally tortured. It is too much to bear. Hashem would love to send His Tzivos Hashem to their aid, to answer their prayers, but Am Yisroel needs to be worthy. What are their prayers? Please read Meir Ettinger's words above. They are consistent with the words of Rabbi Sorotzkin's call to Teshuva the Tikun to end the Galus. .
Hamonei Am needs to truly desire Hashem's Kingship over the world, the reinstatement of Malchus Beis David, and the renewal of the Avoda in the Beis Hamikdash.
Rabbanim have in their power to inspire Teshuva and bring Hamonei Am to a level of yearning for these lofty goals of generations of tears and prayer. Meir Ettinger and his followers aspire for all these things yet he and the Hilltop Youth are being blood libeled, slandered and persecuted.
1. The word that Isaiah, son of Amoz, prophesied concerning Judah and Jerusalem. 2. And it shall be at the end of the days, that the Mountain of the Lord's House shall be firmly established at the top of the mountains, and it shall be raised above the hills, and all the nations shall stream to it. 3. And many peoples shall go, and they shall say, "Come, let us go up to the Lord's mount, to the House of the God of Jacob, and let Him teach us of His ways, and we will go in His paths," for out of Zion shall the Torah come forth, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. 4. And he shall judge between the nations and reprove many peoples, and they shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift the sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. 5. "O house of Jacob, come and let us go in the light of the Lord."

Afterwards shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God and David their king, and they shall come trembling to the Lord and to His goodness at the end of days.
