Chabad Rabbi: Trump Spoke to Me about His Love of Judaism and Israel

BY DONICA PHIFER, Newsweek, 4/28/19

A day after one person was killed and three others injured at the Chabad of Poway synagogue in Poway, California, the congregation's Rabbi Yisroel Goldstein, told reporters of a phone call he had with President Donald Trump....
Speaking at the press conference, Goldstein said he was "amazed" when he answered the phone to discover the White House on the other end of the line, adding that Trump spent 10 or 15 minutes on the phone with him.
"He shared with me condolences on behalf of the United States of America. We spoke about the moment of silence. And he spoke about his love of peace and Judaism and Israel. He was just so comforting, I'm really grateful to our president for taking the time and share with us his comfort and consolation," Goldstein told reporters.
Speaking to MSNBC, Goldstein shared more of the conversation between himself and the president, including how he questioned Trump about plans to combat a rise in anti-Semitism in the United States. The Chabad synagogue shooting is the second attack on Jewish houses of worship in the past year. The Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennslyvania was attacked in October 2018, with 11 people killed and seven others injured.
"[Trump] was very generous in explaining that he has made it as a priority,"
Goldstein told MSNBC's Kasie Hunt. "He said, 'Listen, I've got a son-in-law who's Jewish, I've got a daughter who's Jewish, I've got grandkids that are Jewish. And I love Israel, and I support Israel and I'm going to do whatever we can to protect the Jewish people of the United States of America and abroad.'__ ...It was the highlight of the day after everything I've been through to hear from the president himself to be so comforting and consoling. It meant a lot to our community and it meant a lot to me."

It takes a courageous woman like Laurie Cordoza-Moore to stand up to evil, lies and falsehoods now spreading its poison in the very fabric of our Society.

The reason the Socialist Democrats are getting away with their narrative is because they have been busy the past 20-30 years slowly infiltrating Western Civilization. They have invested in educating clueless people with falsehoods.

It takes a single candle to light up the darkness.  Laurie is that candle!

May we be inspired to follow her lead.

May Hashem continue to Bless her efforts.!

Nashville, TN (4/15/2019) -- Evangelical leader Laurie Cardoza-Moore has called out the ill-informed Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for trivializing the memory of the Holocaust by tweeting a statement by Pastor Martin Niemöller in defense of the anti-Semite and Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group collaborator, Ilhan Omar.

The statement AOC quoted was written by Niemöller who lived under the Nazi regime and used his influence to defend the innocent victims of his government. In contrast, Ilhan Omar is a collaborator of the Muslim Brotherhood which historically supported the Nazis then, and is aggressively seeking the destruction of Israel and America now.

Ocasio-Cortez's tweet appeared on April 13th after President Trump tweeted a video of Omar belittling the 9/11 attacks at a Muslim Brotherhood (CAIR sponsored) terrorist fundraising event in which she described the worst terror attack on American soil as "some people, did something".

PJTN has added the names of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rashida Tlaib to their Ilhan Omar petition calling for their removal from Congress in addition to Omar as they are now working in unison to achieve the same goals. The petition has already amassed tens of thousands of signatures.

Laurie Cardoza-Moore, President of Proclaiming Justice to The Nations (PJTN) and host of the award-winning Christian television program Focus On Israel that reaches a global weekly audience of over 2 billion viewers worldwide stated: "If Ocasio-Cortez is going to quote someone from the Nazi-era to support Omar, she needs to quote a Nazi collaborator! Niemoller was against the Nazis and used his influence to mobilize the Germans against them,"

Cardoza-Moore went on to say, "Are Ocasio-Cortez, Omar and Tlaib an example of the growing number of uneducated graduates from U.S. schools? 'God help us'! You just can't make this stuff up! They have no clue about history! Or worse, are they actively engaged in a Goebbels-style media propaganda war in order to re-write history?"

Cardoza-Moore went: "Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a traitor to her Sephardic Jewish ancestors and the memory of all of us from Hispania whose ancestors were tortured and murdered during the Spanish Inquisition. Her tweet equating the President's criticism of Ilhan Omar with Nazi-era Jews facing extermination by the Third Reich is absolutely pathetic! Not only was her statement not befitting of a U.S. lawmaker, but it is also an embarrassment to our ancestors and shows her lack of education. She needs to stand down and Americans of Hispanic/Latino descent need to join me in calling her out!"

Cardoza-Moore added: "The three uneducated Congresswomen that arose from the anti-Semitic, un-American, Women's March are waging an unholy war in Congress to belittle the Holocaust, normalize anti-Semitism, mainstream anti-Americanism and whitewash Islamism. We the people, especially women of Hispanic-Latino descent, will not idly stand by as subversive forces openly work to destroy our country from within."

"The President has taken the first step by making his voice heard on the issue. Now it's time for him to act to oust them from Congress. We are still awaiting an investigation by the Justice Department into Ilhan Omar's fundraising activities for the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and Islamic Relief USA (IRUSA). Both Muslim Brotherhood front groups."

Cardoza-Moore concluded: "As a descendant of Sephardic Jewish immigrants, I refuse to stand by while these women perpetuate a climate of anti-Semitism. They do not speak for immigrants, for women or for the under-privileged. Ocasio-Cortez is a disgrace to Latinos, a disgrace to women and a disgrace to America. It's time these three anti-Semitic uneducated women were marched out of Congress once and for all."

Proclaiming Justice to The Nations (PJTN), a 501c3 non-profit organization, was established to educate Christians about their Biblical responsibility to stand with their Jewish brethren and Israel against the rise of global anti-Semitism.  Utilizing powerful film and video presentations, a variety of grassroots rallies, events and speaking engagements to facilitate dialogue between the Christian and Jewish communities in support of the State of Israel and against global genocidal anti-Semitism. In recent months the organization has led the struggle against BDS in America with a wave of state resolutions and has exposed textbooks used in U.S. schools that are indoctrinating our children with inaccurate historical information, bias and values that do not reflect our nation. Laurie Cardoza-Moore, president of Proclaiming Justice to The Nations is the show host of the award-winning Evangelical docu-style program Focus On Israel that reaches a weekly global audience of over 2 billion viewers in 200 nations through our 20 global media partners.

Jews!!!!Wakeup! Passover Sacrifice 2019. Call your Jewish Leaders and Rabbis to Lead!

Dear Rabbanim and Askanim in Brooklyn and elsewhere,

Publicly Express Support for Kalman Yeger! See Talking points Does “Palestine” Exist below? From  Frontpage Magazine.

Please call out Mayor Bill de Blasio, Council Speaker Corey Johnson, Public Advocate Jumaane Williams and Comptroller Scott Stringer for suppressing free and truthful speech.

Speak out like Councilman Yeger of Truth about Palestine! Demand these elected officials  explain how they were justified in removing Yeger from the City Council Immigration Committee.

Now is the time, right before Passover, to take that Avodah Zorah, the idolatry that is controlling us and buying our Silence.

Let us tie this idol worship to the bedpost. Let us risk all the discretionary funding coming our way from these elected officials, for extremely worthy programs be it Our Extended Family or Computer Training or you name it.

Let us place full trust in Hashem Yitborach that He will provide!

We will then have a taste of freedom that our ancestors must have experienced.

We do this by standing up for Kalman Yeger and being critical of those who rebuked him for speaking the Truth.  We are obligated, no different than Kalman Yeger, to defend Hashems Torah and G-d's exclusive Covenant with the Nation of Israel!

Moshe Rabbeinu demanded from Pharoah  "Let My People Go!"

Yes it had repurcussions. Pharoah made their lives more miserable.  Moshe confronts G-d and asks "Lama Haraiosa"?   Why G-d did you make life even more difficult for the Jews?G-d responded, Watch and see the glorious miracles I will perform on Israel's behalf!

Why should Yeger stand by his lonesome and take flack and abuse with only Dov Hikind  and few others vocally supporting him?

Surely, we must stand united with him and with G-d!

It is easy for someone like myself with nothing to lose to make that proclamation. It is a different story for Community Leaders to take that risk when many people are depending on such funding for their basic needs. I am not in your position but I pray Hashem gives the Community Leaders the proper Chizuk and clarity to make the best choices for Am Yisroel!!!

It feels like 1938.  For years money has been flowing into US College Campuses from places like Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Which campus doesn't have a Middle Eastern Studies Department that hasn't received funding from countries that has a pro Muslim Brotherhood and radical Islamic agenda?  Students are indoctrinated with misinformation and lies and hate regarding Israel.

Radical Islam groups have partnered with leftist progressive groups funding  social "Justice" education that brainwashes students with an ethos that defy Judeo-Christan values and replaces it with dogma and indoctrination of "justice" and equality for all...

These graduates then go into the job market and become professionals...  professors, lawyers, judges etc to implement the poison they have been taught.

They redefine who is a criminal and a terrorist.

Social Justice Prosecuters

They advocate for unvetted immigrants, many criminal and or terrorists,  who they insist deserve to receive all the protection, and rights of all the US citizens. At the same time these professionals, now in positions of influence,  are biased against Israel and Jews and those who abide be the Laws of Basic Universal Morality. (7 Noahide Laws).  According to their redefinition of morality, Jews and Israel  and supporters must be prosecuted.

Basically anti-Semitism raising it's ugly head.

According to them, terrorism  and being criminal is what Jews and Israel stands for...while the Palestinians are to be defended, the oppressed victims of Israel's criminal Occupation.

The goal of the Muslim Brotherhood for the West is Civilization Jihad.

So how do they go about Civilization Jihad?

They try to get Muslims and pro Muslims into elected office.  In our community the best they can hope for is to suppress opposition. How is this accomplished?

Some of the millions they have allocated to get their candidates into office now goes to nice worthy Jewish causes and JCCs. They send us a Happy Passover Greeting etc. They buy our friendship.

Our  Jewish Community and the Major Jewish Organizations in turn are Silent.

That is why it is imperative we call out by name Mayor Bill de Blasio, Corey Johnson, Jumaane Williams and Scott Stringer!

When election time came Jews were silent under the fake claim of being bi partisan not taking sides.

It doesn't hold water. Not in life and death situations.

The Democrats are wolves masquerading in sheep clothing.

Did we hear opposition against Kirsten Gillibrand when she ran against Chele Farley? How about  opposition from Jewish Organizations to Jumaane Williams  for Public Advocate when he is so helpful with discretionary funding?

Did you ever read their platform?

These are fair weathered friends of ours.

Do we really want these individuals in public office? Because without serious opposition they are a shoo in.

I implore you to watch the following links!!!!
CAIRs Plan for America. Ami Horowitz Blatant AntiSemitism Duke/UNC

In 1938 Jews ignored the warning signs. They should have heeded Jabotinsky.

We in the Orthodox Jewish community should not encourage those like Comptroller Stringer who criticized Kalmen Yeger and reward him with  a nice photo op in a Matzah Factory!

Besides refusing to recognize what  "Free Free Palestine" is all about, and his self righteous condemnation of Yegers tweet,
Stringer, a Jew, is missing the point about Passover.

If Palestine indeed exists and Jews are occupying Palestine illegally then why did G-d perform miracles, the Exodus,  to take the Israelites out of Egypt, in order to reach The Promised Land?

Please ask the Comptroller if he knows to Whom did G-d Promise the Land flowing with milk and honey?

Was it the Palestinians or The Nation of Israel?

Allow me to answer.

The Nation of Israel!

According to G-ds Covenant with Israel, is Israel  supposed to share the Land with the Palestinians forming a 2 State Solution?

Is Judea and Samaria part of the Land of  Israel?

The answer is a resounding yes!

Judea and Samaria are an integral part of Israel, the Biblical heartland, the Footsteps of our Forefathers, and clearly within the borders of the Land of Israel delineated in the Bible. No dispute whatsoever!

From David Bedein Investigative Journalist: Former US State Dept official, now a lobbyist for UNRWA, writes a tendentious description of UNRWA for the New York Times

David Bedein writes:

Having commissioned thorough examination and translation of all Palestinian school books used by UNRWA since 2000 by journalist Dr. Arnon Groiss, a 42 year veteran of the Arabic language division of Israel Radio, holding a PHD in Islamic Studies from Princeton, we discern that UNRWA education for 321,000 UNRWA pupils is based on deligitimization and demonization of Israel, along with indoctrination to liberate all of Palestine, by force of arms, while featuring killers of Jews as role models for the children.

Campbell, indeed, wrote a misleading and inaccurate description of UNRWA in her letter to the editor of the New York Times of April 5, when she asserts that UNRWA operates on" principles of "neutrality, impartiality, independence and humanity"

As President Trump welcomed Egyptian President Sisi to the White House today, yet another red flag has arisen over Ilhan Omar's unworthiness to represent America in any form, least of all from her seat in Congress.  Coupled with her dangerous alliances, PJTN is once again taking to media this week to "wake up" a sleeping electorate on the dangers we face!

Late last week, Omar used the timing of the visit from Egypt's leadership as she appealed to the Trump White House to call for the release of a senior member of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, the organization seeking to establish a global caliphate, and the seed organization of both Hamas and Al-Qaeda terrorist plots globally. In the tweet, she called for the President to help arrange for the release of Hoda Abdelmonem, a woman serving imprisonment in Egypt for her proven ties in helping Egypt's arm of the Brotherhood incite terror in their ultimate goal of an Islamic take-over of Egypt.

Where are we, as AmericansChristians, Jews and all people of good conscience and good sensein letting this blatant mis-use of what should be an honored seat in the U.S. Congress dedicated to our advancement—not our overthrow?

Internal FBI documents have long stated evidence that the Muslim Brotherhood is working in America on a well laid out strategy of a "grand jihad" whose goal is to take over America and our Judeo-Christian culture and values from within.

Are we listening?  Are we watching?

17 "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me."

Ezekiel 3:17

PJTN is sounding the alarm and we are calling on more Americans to join us!  We are demanding the removal of Ilhan Omar from Congress.  As we increase our strategy through our national and global media reach, we are asking you to share this information with your family and friends.

Sign the petition to remove Omar today.  Let your voice be heard.

And thank you for making your best financial contribution today to assure that PJTN continues to be heard!

The time has never been more crucial…

God bless you for all you do on behalf of our Jewish brethren, the State of Israel and the United States of America.

Creeping Theo-Progressivism
Radical Islam and the Radical Left

by Sam Westrop
City Journal
March 12, 2019

The essay below is an expanded version of an article first published at the Manhattan Institute's City Journal.

In 2018, the first two Muslim women elected to Congress – Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib – did so with the help of both Islamist and progressivist bases. For years, critics have thought the collaboration between Islamist groups and sections of the Left to be a cautious, temporary ideological alliance. In fact, a growing section of American Islamism has sincerely embraced progressivist politics, despite its clear contradictions with theocratic ideals.

Writing recently in the New York Times, Cato Institute fellow Mustafa Akyol arguesthat America's "Muslim community," far from campaigning for theocracy (as claimed by "Islamophobes"), is in fact being swarmed by a powerful, welcome "creeping liberalism."

On the face of it, it seems he has a point. Prominent Muslim voices lead Women's Marches in cities across America and argue for "intersectional feminism." Groups such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) – just 10 years ago named by federal prosecutors as part of an enormous terror finance network – now spend a great deal of time publishing social media items about Black Lives Matter while also campaigning for "social justice," prison reform and higher minimum wages. Leading Muslim clerics are to be found praising Malcolm X as "our prince," and protesting Trump's immigration plans at the southern border. And a few Muslim campaigners even express solidarity with transgender and "queer" activists, and publicly dream, as the prominent Islamist-linked activist Linda Sarsour puts it, of "a world free of anti-black racism, islamophobia, xenophobia, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, ageism, sexism, and misogyny."

This is not, however, a broad creeping liberalism; it is, more specifically, a creeping progressivist narrative – and it is changing the face of American Islamism. But is this genuine progressivism? Or is this just part of the perennial debate among Islamists living in the West: in the effort to advance a theocratic agenda using lawful means, to what extent should Islamists dilute their message to fit Western political narratives?

Standing against the march of progress, Aykol observes, is a minority group of "conservative" Muslim clerics. He quotes a few from extreme Salafi circles, but there is in fact a much broader array of contending ideas among America's Sunni Muslims – and its Islamists – on the question of whether progressivist politics poses a threat or affords an opportunity.

Intra-Islamist Dissent

Many of those who oppose the progressive trend are not bearded Wahhabis in Arab dress. Ismail Royer, for instance, is a former jihadist who claims to have moderated and now works for the multi-faith Religious Freedom Institute in D.C. Although he claims to regard Islam as a "vehicle for social justice," he firmly rejects progressivism, and urges an Islamic alliance with conservative Christian movements – even writing pieces in Christian publications in support of the evangelical opposition to gay marriage.

Islamists will, however, find a limited supply of sympathy from American evangelicals. Sections of the Left, meanwhile, have a long history of welcoming Islamist activists into their tent. But it is the very eagerness of the Left to co-opt American Islam that concerns certain leading Islamists.

Traditional, purist Salafi and Wahhabi clerics condemn those modernist Salafistrying to "westernise Islam" by appealing to progressivist impressions of Islam. The modernist Salafis use progressive rhetoric about Islamophobia and the Black Lives Matter movement, but also warn about the dangers of support for feminism and homosexuality within Muslim Students Associations, which are supported and funded by organizations tied to the Muslim Brotherhood. Meanwhile, the Muslim Student Associations (when taking a break from those intersectional solidarity marches) debate fractiously whether to "de-platform" either the "regressive" Salafi clerics, or those extra-progressive Muslims who seem just a little too committed to working with Jewish groups or advocating for gay rights.

Duplicitous Embrace

There is no doubt that some of the more ascetic Islamists reject all ideological alliances. Some may engage in some barebones interfaith activities, but they do so while warning against accepting the "validity" of other religions and preaching that "Islam in the West is a resistance movement against totalitarian liberal ideology." (As Michel Houellebecq illustrates with alarming plausibility in his novel Submission, this line of thinking may end up appealing to those Western non-Muslims also frightened by the fast-growing progressivist movement and finding more than a few shared values with Islamist ideologues.)

But there are many, especially within modernist Salafi networks, who have observed the growth of political activist Islamist movements in America, such as the Muslim Brotherhood or Jamaat-e-Islami, and partly ascribe their success to the adoption of modish political trends. Much of the progressivist rhetoric that emanates from these modernist Salafis, however, is manifestly deceitful.

In their private sermons before Muslim audiences, modernist Salafi clerics rally against the evils of apostate ideologies. Yasir Qadhi, a leading cleric of the AlMaghrib Institute, for instance, denounces the theology of Louis Farrakhan's Nation of Islam (NOI) as heretical and "perverted." In public, however, Qadhi's clerical colleagues eulogize Malcom X – a progressivist darling -- and praise NOI leader Louis Farrakhan as a great radical hero. This may be ideologically incoherent, but it is tactically shrewd.

Other duplicity is more plainly apparent. The Texas-based imam Omar Suleiman, for instance, has been an active voice in the protests against the Trump administration's immigration. In March 2018, he was arrested at the Capitol after "civil disobedience" to demand "protection for young immigrant Dreamers." And yet before an Muslim audience, Suleiman has warned young girls, without condemnation, that if they are "promiscuous" they may be killed by a family member.

Or look at Islamist media: Al Jazeera's social media channel AJ+ broadcasts documentaries on transgender rights and the wickedness of misogyny, homophobia and other bigotries; while its Arabic parent station broadcasts sermons by Muslim Brotherhood clerics advocating the killing of gays, and offeringhusbands permission to beat their wives.

Some Islamists have sought to explain American Islamist institutions' partial-embrace of progressivism as a response to "Islamophobia." Shariq Siddiqui, an official of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), has written that "Islamophobia makes it difficult for ISNA and Muslim Americans to determine which positions are centered on their religious values and which positions are based on political necessity. ... For example, in 2003, ISNA was opposed to gay marriages, but now ISNA is part of a coalition working in favor of gay marriage."

Others have made it clear that non-Muslim progressivists are dispensable partners. As Counter Islamist Grid director Kyle Shideler recently discovered: newly-elected Virginia General Assembly Member Ibraheem Samirah (who was recently exposedas a virulent anti-Semite) has explicitly compared the Islamist alliance with progressivists to the decision of the Islamic prophet Muhammad "to form treaties with his enemies. He had to form alliances with people who weren't necessarily believers of his message, who would later on become people who would be his enemies." (Samirah also served as a senior campaign official for freshman Michigan Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib)

Intersectional Islamism

Nevertheless, an increasing number of clerics and Muslim thinkers have begun to regret their forays into progressivist politics. Leading modernist Salafi clerics such as Yasir Qadhi now appear deeply shocked that Muslim students have moved from carefully taking advantage of progressivist trends to openly supporting "LGBTQ" campaigns on campuses.

And indeed, at one end of the spectrum, there is a rising group of activists from Islamist circles who seem to believe in this fused progressivist-Islamist creed. Across America, branches of the Council on American-Islamic Relations are today staffed with young hijab-wearing graduates of Muslim Students Associations, who appear to have reconciled working for terror-linked extremists while also publishing transgender rights petitions on their social media accounts.

Notorious Islamist activist Linda Sarsour appears an earnest advocate of Islamist-progressivism, calling for (an ostensibly non-violent) "jihad" against Donald Trump, and quipping: "You'll know when you're living under Sharia Law if suddenly all your loans & credit cards become interest free. Sound nice, doesn't it?" In 2014, praising the fact that Saudi Arabia reportedly provides women with ten weeks of paid maternity leave, Sarsour denounced opponents of Saudi's ban on female drivers (which has since been lifted) and claimed that Saudi put the U.S to shame.

Sarsour is a harbinger of a broader trend. Whether American Islamist movements intended to embrace progressivism authentically or not, many Islamist groups are now so firmly entrenched in the progressive movement that a generation of young American Muslims is growing up convinced that the progressivist social justice and sexual identity narratives are intrinsic components of the Islamist agenda. No wonder some traditional Islamists speak out so forcefully against "liberal ideology," or caution against too tight an embrace of progressivist allies – their own radicalism is being supplanted.

American Islamists are conflicted. Some reject the embrace of left-wing politics entirely. Others clearly exploit progressivist organizations to advance their cause. And then there are some, a new generation of intersectional Islamists, who seem to have found a genuine way to advocate for, or warily justify, "queer"-friendly politics. It looks like the progressivist rhetoric of Islamist activists such as Sarsour, or politicians such as Ilhan Omar, is sincere – even if it seems patently confused and inconsistent to any rational observer.

This poses a new sort of threat. These intersectional Islamists – these theo-progressives – are part of a broader radical undertaking that has a much greater chance of imposing extremist ideas on American society than the Muslim Brotherhood or Wahhabis ever did.
