Amiram ben Uliel in Solitary over Shavuot

גישה חדש בעד צדק ומשפט לעמירם בן אוליאל Tsedek UMishpat for Amiram ben Uliel - Rethinking Approach
https://shemittahrediscovered.blogspot.com/2023/06/tsedek-umishpat-for-amiram-ben-uliel.html

Update 2:

Arutz7 stands by its story that he was offered a study partner. See latest link below.

Amiram's wife initially disagreed.

Two possibilities:

Amiram was offered a study partner over Shavuot and he refused the offer and he didn't tell and/or he hid this information from his wife.

Alternatively:

Arutz7 was lied to for whatever reason and they did not keep their end of their agreement and did not offer him a study partner.

Personally, it would not surprise me and it would make sense that Amiram and his supporters stick to the initial request and insist on a Minyan and not just a study partner. Why would we trust his handler's with their choice of study partner? But that is my conjecture. We still don't know what actually happened.

Shabak's choice of Yigal Amir as a study partner is interesting. Yigal Amir and the murder of Rabin is a mystery not solved. There are parallels. Yigal Amir too might have been framed. It seems though that Amir was a Shabak player/victim while Amiram just a victim. The forensic evidence does not seem to add up that Yigal Amir actually fired the bullet that killed Rabin and it looks like he too was set up. Many never believed he murdered Rabin. Too many questions. Many believe that he thought he was shooting empty bullets. There was a mysterious lapse of time between the shooting and Rabin's arrival to the hospital. The bullet that killed Rabin didn't seem to come from Yigal Amir's location from where he shot the bullet.

*Report: Man convicted of Duma murders refuses to study with Yigal Amir*
Amiram Ben-Uliel, the man convicted of a deadly firebomb attack on an Arab family, refuses offers for study partner - including Yigal Amir.

Update 1:

I was just informed by trusted sources that according to Amiram's wife, the prison services never even offered Amiram a study partner on Shavuot and they lied when they say they did. In either case, why trust that a study partner of their choosing is to ease Amiram's solitary confinement?  We can logically conjecture that their choice of a study partner would  be one to benefit their agenda, and thereby cause additional emotional or psychological trauma. Maybe they projected what Amiram would do knowing their true intentions, and  figured he would anyway reject their choice of a study partner. Maybe Gam zu leTova for Amiram that they didn't offer him a study partner.

Posted today on Arutz7 May 28, 2023 the day after Shavuot

Jewish prisoner kept in solitary for holiday despite orders.
Amiram Ben-Uliel, an observant Jewish prisoner, was kept in solitude for Shavuot despite Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir's orders to the contrary.
https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/372017
My comments:

Yes he was offered a study partner.
(Updated...apparently he wasn't. Or he was but just one, Yigal Amir. Maybe others but who knows for sure? He was not offered to be placed in Agaf Torani with others like minded prisoners  to end his solitary, cruel, controlled prison sentence)

It (updated: would not or), did not, surprise me that Amiram refused all their suggestions for a study partner.

Here is the news item prior to Shavuot on Arutz7.
Amiram Ben Uliel to be released from solitary confinement for Shavuot
Man convicted of Duma arson to be allowed to interact with other prisoners during holiday under Ben-Gvir's policy.
https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/371910

Why were we so misled to believe this compromise of having a study partner in his cell was equivalent to being released from solitary confinement and allow him the opportunity to interact with other prisoners?

The initial demand was for him to be with a Minyan in the Agaf Torani, in the Torah religious division.

Surely we can suspect his handlers would wish to control their choice of Amiram's study partners with someone compromised whom they can manipulate.

It was wise for Amiram to refuse their offer.

Thank you but no thanks.

Kfar Duma Case – Articles

April 18, 2023

In this comprehensive link, Honenu has provided a significant number of links that provide overwhelming evidence that Amiram ben Uliel is completely innocent of the crime for which he is convicted of, namely the Duma arson of July 31, 2015. The perpetrators of this horrific crime are still at large, roaming the streets, free to repeat similar criminal acts that killed or murdered an Arab mother, father and their child.

Please report on the current pre Shavuot  letter writing campaign to Prime Minister Netanyahu applying public pressure to demand that Amiram pray with a Minyan together with the Agaf Torani for Shavuot.

אל המקום אשר...

The miscarriage of justice to Amiram ben Uliel is crying out to the heavens.

No Jew or Non Jew should be tortured in order to confess a crime he or she never committed.

His extreme solitary confinement is compounding his emotional and physical abuse and his unjustified imprisonment every minute. This must end.

For Shavuot he should davan with a Minyan and be with the Agaf Torani.

Dear colleagues, We have been working hard the last few weeks. Our Gila Slonim was in America drumming up support for Amiram Ben-Uliel, the young Jew

Dear colleagues,
We have been working hard the last few weeks. Our Gila Slonim was in America drumming up support for Amiram Ben-Uliel, the young Jew sentenced to three life terms plus seventeen years for a crime he could not have committed. Right now, we are turning to you for a quick and easy way to get Amiram out of solitary confinement for the holiday of Shavuot.
Thanks to public pressure, Amiram was taken out of solitary for the first two days of Passover. He was transferred to a wing for religious Jews, where he was able to pray with a minyan and participate in the Seder.
Shavuot is fast approaching and we want to do the same thing again for Amiram. We are asking you to send a letter, fax, or make a phone call to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and briefly demand that Amiram be let out of his cell for the holiday that commemorates the giving of the Torah. We could give you a sample letter, but then it would be obvious that you didn't write it, and so the effect would be greatly diluted. But we will give you the following points.
1. Keep the message to no more than two paragraphs or 4-5 sentences.
2. Start by saying you are writing to speak out about the injustice done to Amiram, his conviction of murder based on confessions elicited by torture. Then say that Amiram's prison conditions are shocking and that you are asking for Netanyahu, as the overseer of the General Security Service, to order Amiram sent to a "Torani wing" (populated by religious inmates) so he can exercise his right to worship and be granted freedom of religion.

Kfar Duma Case – Articles

April 18, 2023

https://www.honenu.org/kfar-duma-case-articles

In this comprehensive link, Honenu has provided a significant number of links that provide overwhelming evidence that Amiram ben Uliel is completely innocent of the crime for which he is convicted of, namely the Duma arson of July 31, 2015. The perpetrators of this horrific crime are still at large, roaming the streets, free to repeat similar criminal acts that killed or murdered an Arab mother, father and their child.

No one disagrees that the perpetrators should be found and brought to justice. But holding the wrong person hostage is preventing that from happening.

Amiram is not the guilty one.

Within 5 hours of the crime, Jews were blamed in the media by top political VIPs in the highest level of the Israeli government before any investigation took place.

Jews, namely Settler youth, hundred(s) of them, were taken into custody and denied basic human rights. They were denied rights to an attorney, and underwent severe emotional and psychological trauma.

In spite of their investigation, of a few months, the Shabak division of Jewish Terror didn't manage to find any Jew that they could prosecute in spite of their "heroic" efforts and there was tremendous pressure to find the "Jewish" perpetrator.

Was there any investigation of the Arab clans that perpetrated similar acts of arson against one another including the Dwabshe family.

(Perhaps the perpetrator had to be "Jewish" since this investigation had more to do with politics than with truth and justice. Basically a frame-up).

In December 2015 they finally arrested Amiram who had since moved to Jerusalem after his home was destroyed several times over and was living in Adei Ad, in a trailer, with his wife and baby.

For seventeen days Amiram denied he had anything to do with this arson. Amiram's wife Orian, said he has an alibi and was with her that night and she went to do car pool while he was watching their baby but noone wanted to hear her out and hear her husband's alibi.

Shabak found their perpetrator scapegoat and now just needed to prove it.

A modern day blood libel.

Finally after receiving permission to torture Amiram aka "using extraordinary measures" Amiram confessed. But A real investigation for truth and justice never happened.

Amiram and his family maintain his innocence. They too would like the real killer found and apprehended. They never in any way educated and encouraged Amiram to murder innocent Arabs. After the Duma arson they never bragged about murdering innocent Arabs and from the get go, aside from his forced confession extracted following torture, maintained Amiram was innocent.

Amiram's forced tortured confession is the sole evidence the courts had on him. Self incrimination is inadmissible in a Jewish court of law and in modern day civilized democracies as well. There was no other additional incriminating evidence, let alone 2 witnesses required by Jewish law. In fact the opposite. Reports of an Arab witness at the scene of the crime, reported in Haaretz, immediately following the arson, a totally different version of what happened. There are no collaborating photographs nor videos of the crime. No forensic evidence that collaborated with Amiram's confession. In fact the opposite... The forensic evidence does not match his version, his "confession".

In addition, the methods by which he reenacted the crime, namely with his interrogator present, should have rendered such evidence inadmissable.

This miscarriage of justice is piercing the heavens.

Brutal physical and psychological torture prompted Amiram's forced and false confession. After countless delays, known in Jewish law as Inui Hadin, a trial was finally held where the court ruled that his forced confession "justified" 3 life sentences.

If the above miscarriage of justice wasn't enough, over the past seven years, Amiram is subjected to daily nonstop emotional trauma due to his total isolation from normal daily human social interactions with his wife, with his daughter and/or friends. For 7 years he is barely allowed to communicate with his wife except via a thick glass nor hold his infant daughter.

During Covid even that minimum was taken from him.

He has been subjected to total unjustified and cruel solitary confinement, which is unprecedented even for the most hardened of criminals ... which he is clearly not.

Amiram was at the time a young married man with a baby and is a devout Breslov Chosid whose teachings emphasize living a holy lifestyle and to refrain from gazing at anything improper that might distract and detract his service to G-d .

This profile and background and constitution does not match in any way a common sense macho profile of a radicalized Jewish criminal who would risk a suicidal attempt to venture 4 kilometers into an Arab village to perpetrate such a heinous hate crime against innocent Arabs.

Shmuel Koenig's letter:

Dear Knesset Member,

We have to stop fighting each other and we should  prevent a civil war.

We have to do what Hashem wants And unite behind Hashem.

As far as Judicial reform:

The Torah teaches that we cannot convict on the basis of confession, especially so if the confession was done under torture.

This applies to the case of Amiram Ben Uliel.

We should ask the Rabbonim to form a Sanhedrin and apply Jewish law and ideas to the Jewish state..

With best wishes for the Geula,

Shmuel Koenig
