Elisha Yered *Jews will walk everywhere.* *Period.*

Commentary,  Elisha Yered
*Jews will walk everywhere.* *Period.*
*The enemy tried this week to stop the Jewish presence in the open areas by means of murderous terrorism, after it understood well that “every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours!”*
*But we also understand this today more than ever!*

*Yair Golan and the left-wing media are trying to blame the hikers for the attack and to turn hiking in Judea and Samaria into an illegitimate act. Jews – should only walk inside the fences.*

*We will not allow this to happen!*

*The entire Land of Israel belongs to the people of Israel, and we will hike in it quietly and safely.*

*If the enemy raises its head – the security system must cut off its head.*

*This coming Friday we will continue in the path of Binyahu Melet hy”d, who struggled for his life on the rock ridge (Sela Ridge) where he fell, and we will go out to hike in the area under the guidance of the leaders of the ‘Hargavim’ hikers’ group.*
*Share and come.*

Israel's Hilltop Heroes

*The Hilltop Youth: The Story the Media Refuses to Tell*
a video by Avi Abelow, Pulse of Israel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hd3y6vBDGyc

Avi Abelow presents a strongly supportive perspective on the Hilltop youth, portraying them as courageous modern Jewish heroes playing a vital role in maintaining Israeli security and sovereignty in Judea and Samaria. He highlights recent terrorist arson attacks, theft, and violence from the Palestinian population, emphasizing that these are not isolated incidents, but part of a persistent security threat that mainstream media and Israeli authorities often underreport or misrepresent.

The Hilltop youth, comprising young Israelis living on remote hilltops and establishing farms and outposts, act as a first line of defense against jihadi encroachment, illegal building, and terror attacks, crediting them with preventing the expansion of terror bases close to Israeli population centers and securing the region.

Avi criticizes mainstream media’s disproportionate focus on "settler violence" while downplaying Palestinian aggression, arguing that this narrative distorts reality and weakens Israeli public understanding and resolve. He stresses the importance of a strong security posture, supported by current Israeli leadership, to deter attacks and protect Jewish communities. Personal stories and broader geopolitical realities demonstrate that the Arab Muslim population in Judea and Samaria shares hostile sentiments akin to those in Gaza, underscoring the challenging context in which the Hilltop youth operate. Avi calls for recognition and support for these young pioneers, drawing a parallel to earlier generations who bravely settled border regions during Israel’s founding era, and presents them as indispensable to Israel’s safety and future.

Elliot Resnick: How Not To "Defend" Israel. A Refreshing, Truthful and Jewish Perspective

Bsd

I am posting this post of Elliot Resnick on my blog because fb links are unreliable and I would like to share these thoughts of Elliot Resnick with a link that works.  These words of truth are left unsaid. If you search for it on fb and the above fb link doesn't work, try to search "Elliot Resnick Mike Huckabee" on fb.

Elliot Resnick posted this on his FB page close to the Tucker Huckabee interview Feb 2026.

Last Shabbos, I was asked to give a speech at a shul in Florida. Here's what I said:

Many of you probably know that Tucker Carlson recently interviewed Mike Huckabee. In this interview, Tucker repeatedly asked Huckabee why he's satisfied with the current borders of Israel when G-d promises Abraham in the Bible a land of Israel that runs from the Niles River to the Euphrates River. Tucker has become a rather nasty and dishonest individual, but I'm grateful to him for this line of questioning since all of a sudden people are now talking about the ideal borders of Israel being from the Nile to the Euphrates. I kind of like the sound of that, and it puts us on the offense instead of defense.

Way too many pro-Israel supporters make the standard *defensive* case for Israel. So they'll say something like: Israel stands up for LGBT rights. That's terrible. So-called LGBT rights are anti-Jewish. According to the Midrash, G-d destroyed almost all of humankind with the Great Flood because it legitimized same-sex marriage.

Another statement Israel defenders will proudly make is that Israel allows Arabs to sit in its Knesset. That's also terrible. Israel is a Jewish state. Only Jews therefore should be deciding its fate. Only Frenchmen should decide the fate of the French nation, only Japanese people should decide the fate of the Japanese nation, and only Jews should decide the fate of the Jewish nation.

It would be bad enough if the Arabs in the Knesset were just regular non-Jews. But they happen to be vicious anti-Semites. Yet, we allow them a say in the destiny of the Jewish nation. Are we insane?

We're lucky that Jerusalem Arabs don't have the right to vote in national elections and that many other Arabs boycott the elections. Otherwise there would be something like 25 Arabs in the Knesset, which would mean that never again would there be a right-wing government in Israel.

What else do Israel defenders say?

They proudly declare that IDF is the most moral army in the world since it risks the lives of its own soldiers in order to save the lives of enemy civilians. But that doesn't make it moral. That makes it the most *immoral* army in the world. No sane country places the lives of enemy civilians over those of its own army.

And they *are* enemy civilians. Wars are collective by their very nature. World War II, for example, was a conflict between America and Japan, America and Germany. It wasn't between the American and German and Japanese armies. It was a *national* conflict, not a conflict between individuals. That's why, for example, I doubt any of you know or care if the Japanese pilots who bombed Pearl Harbor survived World War II or not. We don't care because they didn't attack us as *individuals.* They attacked us as representatives of a nation.

And that nation was fully behind the war. Soldiers don't operate in a vacuum. They need food to eat, clothing to eat, weapons to shoot. Who grows that food, who makes that clothing, who fashions those weapons? Money is the sinews of war, Cicero said 2,000 years ago. Who pays taxes if not civilians? That means every working civilian is contributing to the war. And many women offer moral support to soldiers by writing them love letters.

So every civilian population in war is guilty. That's why sieges are moral. Sieges are one of the oldest forms of warfare known to man. And a siege is a form of collective punishment by its very nature. The besieging army literally starves the population into surrender. That's a term you'll find in any book about sieges, which have been a regular part of ware for millennia: "starve into surrender."

We all know about World War II during which the Allies killed almost a million civilians from the air, including 100,000 Japanese in a single night on March 9, 1945 in the Bombing of Tokyo. But leave that aside. Did you know that in World War I, the British killed something like 800,000 German civilians by imposing a blockade around Germany to prevent any vital supplies from getting into the country?

And we feel defensive about killing Arabs in Gaza?? Those Arabs are arguably the least innocent civilians in the history of warfare. If an American soldier accidentally wandered into Berlin or Tokyo in the middle of World War II, would he have been lynched? No, because although Germany and Japan were at war with America, the average German and Japanese civilian didn't hate Americans with a passion. The average Arab in Gaza, though, *does* hate Jews with a passion, and if any of you here walked into Gaza tomorrow with a yarmulke on your head, you would be lynched.

So we shouldn't be boasting that we killed so few civilians in Gaza. We actually should have killed many more since the only way to win a war is to crush the will of the enemy. In "On War," probably the most famous book on warfare ever written, Carl von Clausewitz writes that every war should have three aims. One of them is to subdue the will of the enemy.

In World War I, we didn't succeed in doing that. People like Hitler werre able to convince themselves that the government stabbed the army in the back – that if the army had just been allowed to fight a little longer, it would have won. After World War II, no German could think that. All he had to was walk outside his house and see all the death and destruction around him. He knew to the very core of his being that he had lost.

And *because* the Germans and Japanese knew they had lost, America was able to become best friends with Germany and Japan almost immediately after the war ended. The Arabs, though, have never been made to feel like they've lost. That's why we've been fighting them for 100 years now.

So no, we shouldn't boast that the IDF risks the lives of its own soldiers to save the lives of enemy civilians, we shouldn't boast that Arabs sit in the Knesset, and we shouldn't boast that Israel recognizes LGBT rights. We should be embarrassed by all that.

Instead, we should defend Israel unapologetically – from a Jewish perspective. The Land of Israel is ours by historical right, it's ours by the laws of conquest, but, most importantly, it's ours by divine right. G-d gave the Land to us. Period. We actually have a greater right to our land than any other nation on earth. G-d never promised Italy to the Italians, Greece to the Greeks, or China to the Chinese. But He did promise the land of Israel to the people of Israel.

Unfortunately, there's much anti-Semitism in the world. Many people therefore will hate us no matter what we do or say. But some people *do* make up their mind about a conflict based on what they hear from the two sides. So, what do they hear from the two parties in the Middle East?

Well, from the Arabs they hear a simple message: The Land is ours and we want it now – all of it. What do they hear from us? Generally they hear: We're willing to give the Arabs a Palestinian state as soon as they're ready to live with us in peace. That's basically an admission that justice is on the side of the Arabs because no one normal gives up something that's his just because someone else wants it. Most of you here own houses. Would you give part of it to someone just because he started throwing rocks at you? No, you would call the police. You would make sure he stopped throwing rocks at you. You wouldn't give him part of your house.

So what do we expect from the world? If we ourselves don't say the land is ours, why should we expect others to think that it is?

You all know the famous story with King Solomon. Two women of ill repute come before him. Both had given birth recently and one of them had accidentally smothered her baby in the middle of the night. So what did she do? She switched her dead baby with the baby of her colleague. The colleague objected. She said, "That's not baby. My baby is the live one." The other woman said, "No, my baby is the live one. Yours is the dead one."

So they go to King Solomon and what does he say? He says take a sword and cut the baby in half. Give one half to one mother and the other half to the other mother. At that point, the true mother says, "Don't touch the baby. It's fine, you can give it to my colleague." What did the friend say? "Cut it in half. I don't mind." And what does Solomon say? He says the true mother is the one who isn’t willing to split the baby.

Okay, back to the present day: Who is willing to split the Land of Israel? We or the Arabs? And since the answer is we – we are the ones willing to split it – can we blame the world for thinking like Solomon that the Arabs are the true owners since they aren't willing to split it?

The Talmud states that if two people grab a garment, both claiming that it's theirs, they swear to that effect and they each get half the garment (or its monetary equivalent). If one says the whole garment is his and the other says only half of it is his, one gets three-quarters of the garment, the other party gets one quarter. The lesson is clear:

When something is yours, unapologetically say so. We shouldn't be talking about giving the Arabs a state in Gaza or the West Bank. Instead, we should be talking like Tucker Carlson about a state of Israel that runs from the Nile to the Euphrates.

"Achi, Brother, I am without a weapon," Binayahu Melet to Elchonon Gruner last year

*What is the directive behind the message regarding Jewish self-defense in Israel?*

by Elchanan Groner, Investigative Reporter

"Brother, I have been disarmed," is how *Benayahu Melet, hy"d turned to me one day about a year and a half ago, after the weapons of the Havat Gilad rapid response team members were confiscated for inspection by order of the previous Samaria Brigade Commander.

*Benayahu reported to me that their weapons were collected at the end of a rapid response team training session.* The suspicion: One of the team members had fired at Arab terrorists who had approached within about a hundred meters of Havat Gilad under the guise of olive harvesters and threw stones.

A few days later, Benayahu's weapon was returned. *One of the residents, a veteran of the Undercover Counter-Terrorism Unit, was arrested and charged with shooting.* The directive was clear. "The Brigade Commander wants to send us a message," Benayahu told me.

Today, Benayahu's widow cries out to back our fighters so there will be no more widows and orphans. But *if Benayahu and the Military Security Coordinator (Ravsha"tz) had known they had backing to shoot—rather than Judea and Samaria District Police investigators and 'conceptzia' officers waiting for them in the background with debriefings and investigations over every little thing—perhaps Benayahu would still be with us.*

"Achi, Brother, I am without a weapon," Binayahu Melet addressed me one day about a year and a half ago after the weapons of the members of the Havat Gilad readiness squad were confiscated  by order of the previous Shomron Brigade Commander

Binayahu reported to me that they had collected their weapons after the squad's readiness training. The suspicion: one of the members of the squad had shot at Arab rioter who had approached about a hundred meters from Havat Gilad under the guise of a harvester and in his hands were stones.

A few days later, Binayahu's weapon was returned, one of the residents, a graduate of the military academy, was arrested and charged with the shooting. The message was clear. "The brigade commander wants to send us a message," Benayahu told me.

Today Binayahu's widow is crying out to backup fighters so that there will be no more widows and orphans, but if Binayahu and the Ravshatz (in charge of local Regional Security) had known that they had support to fire and that there were no ימ"ר ש"י (The Judea and Samaria District Police Central Unit responsible for investigating serious crime, nationalist offenses, and criminal incidents in the Judea and Samaria region) investigators and Officers of the Conceptzia (who believe in the illusion of peace with Hamas supporting terrorists)  waiting for them with investigations and interrogations about everything... maybe Benayahu would still be with us.

MK Simcha Rotman, Chairman of the Constitution Committee: Ben Sabu on Chareidi Draft

Bsd

See Video link at end of post

*MK Simcha Rotman, Chairman of the Constitution Committee:* Ben Sabu on Chareidi Draft

Today in the Knesset plenary session I said the things that could not be said in the High Court of Justice.

Ben Sabu, an officer in the Hashmonaim Brigade, knows the reality up close and knows how ultra-Orthodox are really recruited into the IDF.

He wanted to present his professional experience to the court and explain that arrests do not bring ultra-Orthodox recruitment closer, but rather further it. But the High Court chose not to allow him to make his voice heard.

When you silence someone who knows the area, it is difficult to claim that you are seeking to reach the truth.

What they did not let him say there, I said today from the Knesset podium.

See related post Torat Lechima: *Major (res.) Ben Yaakov Sabu, Commander of a Unit in the Hasmonean Brigade: Purpose of High Court Judges on the issue of Chareidim arrests is not to Recruit ultra-Orthodox - but to prevent it.

See link attachment at the end of post.

From Torat Lechima: *Major (res.) Ben Yaakov Sebu, Commander of a Unit in the Hasmonean Brigade: Purpose of High Court Judges on the issue of Chareidim arrests is not to Recruit ultra-Orthodox - but to prevent it.

*Major (res.) Ben Yaakov Sebu, commander of a unit in the Hasmonean Brigade, in sharp words to High Court judges on the issue of haredim arrests. The High Court judges shut him up and refused to hear him in today's hearing. But here are the things he prepared to say to them - and the public will judge:*

I will not speak in the name of legal arguments - the people of Israel and especially the younger generation that has grown up are no longer innocent and understand that everything here is a pseudo-law and everything is determined according to a worldview, and all legal arguments are hypocrisy.

I did not come to renew this because it is clear to everyone.

I came to renew something else. I came to say that the arrests achieved the purpose of those who wanted them.

Only that its purpose is not to recruit ultra-Orthodox - but to prevent it.

The persecutions as of now are like a sword raised above the head of the brigade.

The recruitment since the beginning of the persecutions has dropped by tens of percent, initially hundreds enlisted in the regular and reserve corps, to the brigade, today it is doubtful whether a company will be opened in the upcoming cycle. At first, they went to the officers' course. Today, no one wants it and no course will be opened in the upcoming cycle.

Even the soldiers who have already enlisted It is evident that what was once a curiosity of the rabbis and friends has been replaced since the intensification of the flames of arrests and persecution by tremendous tension towards them and an unwillingness to continue in the brigade.

I speak facts - decide what you decide, but as long as you officials are still running the country, then the people of Israel will know what your agenda is and what you are doing consciously.

Israel will not lie forever, and what is temporary and fleeting will crumble and be destroyed.

A major in the reserves, the son of his grandfather - a commander of a unit in the Hasmonaean brigade

Tal Yinon Dardik and the Fight Against Administrative Orders*

*Tal Yinon Dardik and the Fight Against Administrative Orders*

Honenu, a legal aid organization (https://honenu.org/), has led a campaign against administrative detention orders by Central Command Gen. Avi Bluth against Israeli settlers in Judea and Samaria. *Attorney Adi Kedar from Honenu called the measures a waste of public funds that neglect the settlement enterprise.*

*The case of Tal Yinon Dardik became central after Bluth issued an order on Shin Bet recommendation. Honenu appealed; the Military Appeals Committee found serious defects and effectively overturned it.* Defense Minister Israel Katz directed that the order not be renewed and the matter handled “in other ways.” *After public pressure and Dardik’s hunger strike, Honenu secured progress toward his release and congratulated Katz for accepting the committee’s view that the original order was unenforceable.*

Yet *Major General Bluth has now appealed the military court’s ruling that the order was illegal*—directly contrary to the minister’s instructions. Dardik therefore remains in detention and continues his hunger strike. *Critics describe this as an open revolt by officials against political authority and call on Minister Katz to assert basic governance and clarify his position. Honenu vows to continue blocking similar orders.*

The original post in Hebrew follows English!

Source Elchonon Gruner:
The full words of the widow, Esther Melet:

"I am here, right here he fell, murdered, for the sake of God, here behind the village of Tel, which was supposed to be leveled. The law of the village of Tel is the same as the law of Rafah, - the enemy is the same enemy.

*It cannot be that we have reached this situation where we hesitate to open fire on terrorists*. It cannot be that we have gone back almost three years in the midst of this war. It is simply impossible that the open-fire orders will remain the same as on October 6th. It is simply delusional. This death was not supposed to happen, this entire event was not supposed to happen. Jews should not be afraid to travel in the Land of Israel, they should not attack tourists, no one should attack people who are traveling.

There was a planned ambush here, they were waiting here with rocks and clubs, 150 terrorists from this murderous village, whose houses, I don't know how they are still up here, I don't know how they are still standing, how in Gaza they are razing village after village, and nothing is happening here?!

We are four days after this murder, nothing is happening here. I am appealing here to everyone who has authority, the Israeli government, the Minister of Defense, the Commander-in-Chief, it doesn't make sense what is happening here. Benyahu jumped bravely.  As a soldier in the emergency squad, Dvir, our dear Rabbi, who is in a miracle, I don't know how he even lives.

It simply doesn't make sense. From firsthand accounts. People whose hearts were bleeding, were here with weapons, dear soldiers, who hesitated to open fire here. Because of delusional orders to open fire. It simply doesn't make sense.

*Citizens of Israel, dear warriors. It's better a thousand times that you be in prison, alive, than in the grave*. Binayahu will not return. Don't hesitate. One second of hesitation can make the difference between life and death.

Take out your weapons, and use them when necessary. That's what they were meant for. Binayahu was a warrior and a dreamer. He knew every inch of land here, in the mountains of Samaria. Judea and Samaria in general, but Samaria in particular.

*We will continue to travel*.
They have already set up a point here at the murder site, and many more points that I have heard about. That will not stop his spirit. His spirit will continue. He acted without  Pause. Up here we have the house of a Palestinian policeman who is part of the story here. You have to know, they are the same enemy. There is no difference, no difference between the Palestinian Authority and the Arabs in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Iran. The enemy is the same enemy, and they should receive the same treatment. My daughters are orphans, from an amazing father. Who was a very significant part of their lives. They will not forget him, but he will no longer be physically present. This is the continuation of their upbringing, unfortunately. The spirit will continue, his spirit will continue with them.

I really hope this is the last victim of delusional open fire orders, really. Dear people, armed, fighters and civilians, do not hesitate. Do not hesitate. Shoot without hesitation, without thinking twice where necessary. The enemy is the enemy. The intention is the same intention, the desire to kill is the same desire to kill. Remember, it is better to stay alive in prison than in the grave," the widow said at the scene of the murder.

*Binayahu*. Only now do I find time to write about you. In the midst of busy days of trying to fulfill your will in a space where there was no one who cared as much as you.

It has been 16 years since we were together in the hills, first in the return of my people, and then we moved together to Ramat Migron. Almost a year and a half, we went through so many things together. But despite the years that have passed, it is impossible to forget such formative years.

Those were different days. Days when every step involved banging your head against the wall again and again, and the whole island was in turmoil and maybe we would succeed. We built and destroyed, and built again and destroyed. We fled, hid, were arrested again and again, and returned to the hill again because it is impossible to abandon. And in the midst of all the evacuations, arrests and marches, you taught everyone to seek to do everything seriously. This is what I remember from you most of all: how everything was done *with the greatest seriousness, and always with a willingness to change.* In the midst of endless discussions, between action and changing public opinion, between achievements on the ground and public perception. And above all, there was an unparalleled love of the country, and prolonged self-work. You were one of the youngest in the group, and yet one of the most serious. I can imagine the situations that arise, insisting on building immediately after every evacuation, marches to Nablus and Jericho, demonstrations, and standing alone in front of dozens of Arabs to protect the houses on the hill and not retreating at any cost.

When you went up to the Redeemer of Zion, I was in exile, and you decided that you had to go back in order to succeed, a decision that was not natural, but you always knew how to constantly recalculate your course when you were aiming for the same goal. At a time when it seemed there was no chance of breaking through the boundaries of the White Paper, you built a beautiful stone house with tremendous effort. And even when it was destroyed - not in vain, my brother, you were sick, because *some seeds for great revolutions grew in that place and at that time*.

When you decided to enlist in spite of everything – despite the arrests, despite the beatings, you kept talking about the fact that you had to know how to fight, and you devoted your entire arduous journey to it, because *there was no one else like you who believed in the threat and believed in the enemy.* Even when it seemed exaggerated, and who even talked about frontal war back then, it was always one of the things that characterized you: you believed in the enemy, you believed in what he said, *and you never stopped preparing for war and studying him.*

At your funeral, Shlomo, your brother, played the song "Unknown Soldiers" by Yair Stern, which you loved so much, and it couldn't have been more appropriate. And to an observer from the sidelines, it might seem strange: *an official military funeral, soldiers in uniform carry the coffin, a military rabbi leads the ceremony, and the crowd sings: "Unknown soldiers are here without uniforms."*

But the truth is that there is nothing more real than that. Because there is an entire generation here who lives a double life - not in the sense of hypocrisy, on the contrary. He lives with *double duty.* Even when he is a soldier in uniform, he is also a soldier without uniform, with the understanding that the mission is greater. And alongside his part in the Defense Army, he also volunteers with his banner of defense and occupation, just as it was written in your profile picture: "A land not accepted – a land of conquerors."
And Benyahu, you symbolized this so much. Even when you enlisted to know how to fight, because you did everything with the utmost seriousness and believed in the threat with complete faith, *you continued to fight as a civilian, even without uniform, even when no one knows, and where there are no decorations and no ceremonies*.

And that is also what you did when we returned to work together in civil intelligence. The OSINT enterprise that you established became a powerhouse, when in practice you taught so many people how to listen to the enemy. And from this grew the "Fight for Every Dunam" forum. As always, you operated behind the scenes, even though it had a huge impact on changing public opinion and understanding the urgency of the struggle for every dunam, literally. *And you were always careful not to differentiate between Area C and the regions of the Land of Israel that were handed over in Oslo and called A and B.*

Tel Aroma, Sela Ridge and Mount Ebal – precisely in places where the establishment elements gave up, because there was nothing to be done with the tools they knew, you always believed that consciousness creates tools and not the other way around, and that one needs to expose, speak out and publish. And you were right, of course. What a significant part you played in the research on the Palestinian Authority's Committee Against Fences, *research that led to action and a change in perception at all levels*.

Then, after years in which you led civil intelligence and initiated the civil OSINT, here too one day you said: "That's it, it has exhausted itself. We are not dealing with space enough." When you felt that it was no longer motivating, refreshing and challenging enough, you moved on to the next destination. And all the persuasions didn't help. You constantly demanded full seriousness, and if you felt that people saw it as a kind of hobby, you sought to create a new framework that would allow you to engage in it seriously.

And besides the unparalleled familiarity with the space – wherever you were. Whether it was in northern Samaria, or later in our entire space between Yitzhar and Havat Gilad, the place where you fell. A space that illustrates the folly of Oslo more than anything else. Khirbet Kafror, Khirbet Tapsa, Khirbet Apex and the Sela ridge – there we went together to take pictures, to try to wake up the residents of the mountainside about the impending threat. *You never stopped trying to create connections for joint work*. Another WhatsApp group that connects one factor with another, local intelligence groups, joint tours, meetings – and all from a spatial perspective. *Some people see dots, but you always sought space, and believed that to occupy space you need connections.*

And when changes began in government policy, and more farms and more hills began to be built, and the Fayyad plan began to lose ground, you found a niche to define yourself in – Mount Ebal. You recognized the Palestinian Authority’s efforts there as part of its ridge plan, and you studied every plan they had in place. From this grew an entire booklet that saw the Joshua Altar not just as a tourist site, but as an expression of responsibility for the entire ridge. Because that’s how you were, you always knew *to identify where the enemy was investing its efforts*.

When you exposed the Palestinian Authority’s plan to build a neighborhood on the altar on Mount Ebal, you worked hard to compare the plans you located with the maps, until you managed to prove things with wonderful investment and wisdom. But then there were various elements in the councils who stole the credit. And that hurt you. Not because of the credit – it never interested you – but because you were afraid that the message would not lead to settlement and a permanent presence, but to solutions that the systemic elements perceived as more realistic. And when you saw talk of illusory solutions like installing cameras and the like, you went to speak in the Knesset, even though it was clearly not natural for you, because you saw that there was no one else to convey the message.

Urgent Alert: CIS " Commanders for Israel Security" A Danger to Israel

Bsd

Re: CIS "Commanders for Israel Security" Today's modern day Erev Rav.

The Beis HaMikdash was destroyed because the Leaders at the time were passive.

Authentic Jewish Leaders, please protest CIS dangerous influence within Israel and on the Trump Administration especially when Prime Minister Netanyahu is scheduled to meet with President Trump.

Erev Rav were the mix multitude that mixed foreign ideology into Israel's camp in the desert when the Israelites left Egypt. They caused the people to sin and Worship the Golden Calf.

Here is just a sample of the vicious slant and libel of "Jewish Violence" or "Jewish Settler Terror Activity" CIS takes against Settlers in Judea and Samaria

"It is no secret that certain members of our current government (the Israel GOI) orchestrate much of this chaos, including by shielding their followers – who are armed and driven by messianic impulses"

This influential CIS Erev Rav supports the formation of a 2 State Solution and is trying to insinuate to President Trump that the Jewish Settlers are armed and violent and engaging in "Jewish Settler Terror Activity".

The opposite is true. The Palestinian Authority and its Hamas supporters are right now  heavily armed and engaged in "Jihadist Terror Activity" threatening all Jews in Israel especially in Judea and Samaria to another October 7th Scenario Chas VeSholom, G-d Forbid.

*"Regavim: Settler Violence": Is it real...or is it a way to get Jews discredited and even killed?*

 About CIS:  Source Grok

Around 600 current and former senior Israeli security and foreign policy figures—primarily members of the group Commanders for Israel’s Security (CIS; Hebrew: מפקדים למען ביטחון ישראל)—sent a letter to U.S. President Donald Trump (and figures close to him such as Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff) urging him to press Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hard on the situation in the West Bank (referred to by the group and many Israelis as Judea and Samaria)

Ynetnews
This occurred ahead of Netanyahu’s meeting with Trump (reports place the letter as sent around Sunday, July 26, 2026, with the meeting expected shortly after). The user’s headline frames the appeal as directed at Netanyahu to raise the issue with Trump; primary reporting indicates the letter was addressed mainly to Trump, calling on him to deliver a “firm and unequivocal message”

Ynetnews
Who the ~600 people are
They are overwhelmingly
- retired high-ranking officials from Israel’s security establishment and foreign service,
- not active-duty personnel.

CIS describes itself as a movement of over 550 (sometimes cited near 600)
- Retired IDF Colonels and Generals,
- Senior equivalents from the Mossad,
- Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency),
- Israel Police,
- National Security Council, and
- Diplomatic Corps.

Membership is limited to the top ranks because those roles provide exposure to strategic national-security issues.

CIS
Founded: 2014 as a non-partisan (though politically oriented) civil-society group.
Core stance: Securing Israel as a strong Democratic Jewish state.

CIS views separation from the Palestinians (leading toward a two-state solution in a regional framework) as essential for long-term security and warns against sliding into a one-state reality.

Members are volunteers who emphasize professional/strategic analysis over partisan politics.

Leadership:
Chaired by
- Maj. Gen. (ret.) Matan Vilnai (former IDF Deputy Chief of Staff, Deputy Defense Minister, Home Front Defense Minister, and ambassador to China).

Other executive figures have included
- Col. (ret.) Itamar Yaar and various former senior officers and diplomats.

CIS

Notable individuals associated with the group or mentioned in connection with this letter include former
- Mossad director Danny Yatom
- Former Shin Bet director Ami Ayalon.

The group’s membership has historically included other prominent names such as
- former Mossad directors,
- Shin Bet heads,
- IDF chiefs or
- senior commanders, and
- police commissioners (exact current signatories of this specific letter are not fully publicly listed in the reporting).

Ynetnews
CIS has previously issued letters and analyses on issues including
- Gaza policy,
- West Bank annexation steps, and
- regional diplomacy,

often criticizing government policies it views as harmful to Israel’s long-term security or relations with the U.S. and regional partners.

Context of the letter

The letter describes rising settler violence against Palestinians and their property as “terrorism” (“Terror is terror is terror”) and warns that unchecked escalation—combined with policies seen as weakening the Palestinian Authority economically and otherwise—could produce consequences “even more catastrophic than the Hamas atrocities of October 7 and their multifront aftermath.”

It argues this trajectory endangers Israeli security, U.S. regional interests, and stability; could
- Derail Trump’s 20-point Gaza plan; and
- Risks damaging or reversing gains from the Abraham Accords.

Ynetnews

Signatories claim Israel’s security agencies are effective against Palestinian terrorist groups but “severely constrained” against Jewish perpetrators, and they accuse certain members of the current government of orchestrating or enabling chaos by shielding armed, ideologically driven supporters. The appeal emphasizes that only Trump can force decisive action.

This fits a broader pattern of CIS advocacy and comes amid reported surges in West Bank violence (including arson, property attacks, and deadly clashes), Israeli government steps related to settlements/outposts and Palestinian Authority authority, and Netanyahu’s Washington visit.

Reporting notes ongoing friction, IDF deployments, and differing assessments of the scale and drivers of the violence.

Timesofisrael
Sources for the details above include contemporary reporting from Ynetnews, The Times of Israel, and related outlets, along with CIS’s own descriptions of its membership and mission. The group’s website and prior public letters provide additional background on its composition and positions.

Binayahu Melet's widow: "Victim of Delusional Open-Fire Orders

Bsd

*"ABSURDITY OF PURITY OF ARMS"*

*Does this outdated Doctrine make Israel the 'most moral army in the world' or the most dead soldiers?*

*Widow of Binayahu Melet: “A victim of absurd open-fire regulations”*

Esther Melet, widow of Binayahu (hy”d), who was murdered in the severe attack in Samaria, arrived together with his brother at the site of the murder and called on fighters not to hesitate to use their weapons.

The widow and brother of Binayahu Melet (hy”d) arrived this morning (Monday) at the site of the murder near the village of Tel in Samaria.
*The widow said there: “The village of Tel should be treated like Rafah — the enemy is the same enemy.”*

*“It cannot be that we have reached a situation where people hesitate to open fire on terrorists,” said the widow Esther.*
*“It cannot be that we have gone almost three years backward in the middle of this war.*
*It is simply impossible that the open-fire regulations remain the same as they were on Friday, October 6.*
*This is simply insane. This death was not supposed to happen. This entire incident was not supposed to happen.*
*Jews should not have to be afraid to hike in the Land of Israel. No one should attack hikers.”*

According to her: *“This was a planned ambush. They were waiting here with rocks and clubs — 150 terrorists from this murderous village, whose houses, I don’t know how, are still standing up here.*
*"I don’t know how they are still standing. In Gaza they flatten village after village, and here nothing happens.*
*"I am appealing here to everyone who has authority — the government of Israel, the Defense Minister, the GOC Central Command — what is happening here is not reasonable."*
*"Binayahu jumped with courage. As a readiness-squad fighter, Dvir, our dear security coordinator, who by a miracle — I don’t know how he is even alive.*
*"This is simply not reasonable. From first-hand testimonies. People whose hearts are bleeding were here with weapons — dear soldiers who hesitated here to open fire.*
*Because of absurd open-fire regulations. This is simply not reasonable.”*

She called on IDF fighters not to hesitate to shoot at terrorists: *“Citizens of Israel, dear fighters. It is a thousand times better for you to be in prison, alive, than in a grave. Binwyahu will not come back. Do not hesitate. One second of hesitation can be the difference between life and death. Take out your weapons and use them when necessary. That is what they are for.”*

Esther spoke with pain about her personal loss: *“Binayahu was a fighter and a dreamer. He knew every clod of earth here in the hills of Samaria. Judea and Samaria in general, but Samaria in particular. We will continue to hike. They have already established a point here at the site of the murder, and many more points that I have heard about. This will not stop his spirit. His spirit will continue. He acted without stopping. Up here we have the house of a Palestinian policeman who are part of the story here. You have to know — they are the same enemy. There is no difference between the Palestinian Authority and the Arabs in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran. The enemy is the same enemy, and they need to receive the same treatment.*
*"My daughters are orphans of an amazing father who was a very significant part of their lives. They will not forget him, but he will no longer be present physically. His spirit will continue with them,” she concluded.*

Ousted Yitzhar security coordinator severely criticizes Samaria Regional Council head

Dismissed Yitzhar security coordinator accuses Samaria Regional Council head over delayed response to attack.

https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/430706

----

*The dismissed security coordinator of the community of Yitzhar was heard in a closed WhatsApp conversation on Friday leveling sharp criticism at Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan and regional security officials.*

*He claimed that after being removed from his position, he was disconnected from work-related communication groups and operational channels, causing him to arrive late at the scene of the deadly terrorist attack.*

*According to the security coordinator, the delay resulted from a decision by the Samaria Regional Council head together with senior military officials to remove him from all relevant groups.*

*"As a result, no one knew how to get to the scene until they arrived," he said. "And when they did, they handled it terribly. I don't know what to tell you."*

*The official reason given by the IDF for his dismissal was that he had entered Palestinian villages without authorization.*

*Residents, however, claimed he "did not align with the military's operational approach and was considered too aggressive by the brigade commander."*

Following the dismissal, the Yitzhar secretariat issued a statement accusing authorities of "completely abandoning residents' security" and attempting to punish the community because of "ego battles" within the Samaria Regional Council's security department.

*"It is unacceptable that, two and a half years after the events of October 7, dangerous steps are being taken that harm operational readiness, weapons availability, and the flow of information to the community's security forces," the statement said.*

It called on Dagan to intervene immediately and restore "basic security" to Yitzhar residents.

The Samaria Regional Council responded at the time by saying it was closely monitoring developments regarding the Yitzhar security coordinator and was working to promote a solution that would provide the best possible outcome for all parties.

Achi, Brother, I am without a weapon," Binayahu Melet to Elchonon Gruner last year

Elchonon Gruner of HaKol HaYehudi reports:

The Dismissed Hagamar הגמ"ר soldier from Susya writes to me:*

Fyi HaGaMar - acronym Hagana Merchavit
 Regional Security (הגמ"ר
is an acronym for local Defense הגנה מרחבית. It is a system based on local residents who are recruited into the reserves, which operates in cooperation with the IDF to protect the regional  settlements in Israel.)

"In the wake of the painful events of recent days, I would like to share an incident that happened to me about a year ago when I was a Hagana Merchavit soldier in Susya.

While on a patrol on Shabbat Eve, I see smoke from the direction of the Susya site and jump to the scene. It turns out that there are several ignition points in the nearby pine forest about 100 meters from the homes of the settlers there.

When I arrive at the point, guys from the site are already working to put out the fires. At the same time, I hear a confrontation and shouting in Hebrew and Arabic in the nearby chicken coops. I get in touch with my commander and receive an order to close in on the scene in order to protect the civilians there.

When I arrive, I see Jews under a shower of stones while the Arabs narrows in their direction. As soon as a few Arabs get within a short distance of me, I perform a military  rules of engagement procedure (Nohel Matzar Chashud, Definition: A graded-use-of-force protocol used by military and law enforcement personnel when approaching or stopping an individual acting suspiciously or fleeing) that ends with a shot in the air.

Baruch Hashem, this made them move away

This is a very dangerous situation that could have ended in a second with the seizure of weapons and harm to us.

As a "sign of appreciation" for the operation of the event, I was summoned for questioning by the Matzach,

(The Military Investigative Police (abbreviation for Military Investigative Police) is the IDF police unit that coordinates criminal investigations and traffic accidents in the army. The unit is headed by an officer with the rank of lieutenant colonel.)

I was arrested in a military prison and deprived of the right to possess weapons and denied the ability to defend the settlement.

This is the way of thinking that makes our enemies raise their heads and shed our blood!

May we soon be able to see the kingdom of David in its glory and together with the King Messiah, we will take great revenge!

Another letter sent to Elchonon Gruner

Hello Elchonon,

My husband volunteered for the army immediately at the start of October 7.

He was posted to guard a farm in the Hebron Mountains. As a local resident, he made sure to create deterrence. He drove a jeep and ensured law and order.

One day he came home and told me that tomorrow they're kicking him out of the army.

When I asked why, after all, every fighter is critical—it turns out

that on that same day he stopped vehicles for identification and detained an activist from Breaking the Silence, who was traveling with an Arab. When he was detained, he complained directly to the legal advisor for Judea and Samaria.

This also happened with anarchists who filmed him.

A few days later, my husband was summoned to the battalion commander and kicked out of the army. He was told he was too active!

Instead of praising his determination at the start
of the war, he was dismissed!

A surplus of soldiers?!
