Esther Malat, widow of Benyahu (hy”d), who was murdered in the severe attack in Samaria, arrived together with his brother at the site of the murder and called on fighters not to hesitate to use their weapons.
The widow and brother of Benyahu Malat (hy”d) arrived this morning (Monday) at the site of the murder near the village of Tel in Samaria.
*The widow said there: “The village of Tel should be treated like Rafah — the enemy is the same enemy.”*
*“It cannot be that we have reached a situation where people hesitate to open fire on terrorists,” said the widow Esther.*
*“It cannot be that we have gone almost three years backward in the middle of this war.*
*It is simply impossible that the open-fire regulations remain the same as they were on Friday, October 6.*
*This is simply insane. This death was not supposed to happen. This entire incident was not supposed to happen.*
*Jews should not have to be afraid to hike in the Land of Israel. No one should attack hikers.”*
According to her: *“This was a planned ambush. They were waiting here with rocks and clubs — 150 terrorists from this murderous village, whose houses, I don’t know how, are still standing up here.*

Esther spoke with pain about her personal loss: *“Benyahu was a fighter and a dreamer. He knew every clod of earth here in the hills of Samaria. Judea and Samaria in general, but Samaria in particular. We will continue to hike. They have already established a point here at the site of the murder, and many more points that I have heard about. This will not stop his spirit. His spirit will continue. He acted without stopping. Up here we have the house of a Palestinian policeman who are part of the story here.
