What Does the Torah Say About the "Deal of the Century"?HaRav Avraham Yitzchok HaKohe Kook.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe
The Rebbe on talks of concessions to Rav Gershon Salamon from the "Temple Mount Faithful", Nemanei Har HaBayit.

Rav Salamon:  "I want to ask you, Prime Minister Yitzchak Shamir is about to have talks with the Arabs about Eretz Yisroel. It is important that the Rebbe tells the gov't and all Jews that it is forbidden to talk to the Arabs about Eretz Yisroel and to give territories of Eretz Yisroel to the enemies."

The Rebbe: " They promised me, and surely they will keep their promise  that of all the talks there will not be any concessions of territories. The talks are only so that the public shouldn't say that Eretz Yisroel is not interested in peace.. It doesn't mean they are right. But this is a criticism that is hard to counter especially among Jews. "

The Rebbe also says "Think good and it will be good:"

When the then Prime Minister Yitzchak Shamir's office called the Rebbes office for a Bracha when they knew of a global attack plan of the Arabs, the Rebbe advised his Chassidim to study more Torah, give more charity, equivalent to 3 meals and say 3 more verses in Tehilim especially the last Tehilim 150 which says כֹּל הַנְּשָׁמָה תְּהַלֵּל יהּ הַלֲלוּ־יָהּ: (תהלים פרק קנ

What the Lubavitcher Rebbe said.
"Any sign of willingness to even speak about relinquishing land to our enemies is sure to encourage terrorism in Israel and abroad."

The Peace Plan is a Non-Starter

Nothing has changed.
Our Arab enemies reactions are based on their cultural values . They see every willingness on our part to compromise, to give up any part of our G-d given land as a huge weakness on our part . On weak people they trample .
That is their Arab culture.
If one is strong and show your strength you are worthy of respect . If one is weak you are worthy to be trampled upon.
The examples are endless in both directions.
In short in accepting Trump's plan, as good as it may be in some of our eyes, we should expect extreme terror and violence on part of our Arab neighbors as our willingness to give up our land is seen as weakness and therefore in their eyes we are to be trampled on .
We only progress to agreements with Arabs when we show extreme strength and are then greatly respected . Check this out in your history books .
I lived with my Arab neighbors closely for thirty years in Gush Katif in Gaza .....this was their culture on every level of relationships, towards us as well as towards each other, as well as within their family relationships .
Simple to understand.
Our accepting President Trumps plan and giving up our land is weakness in their eyes and so we are to be trampled upon.
Different cultural values and rules here!!

15 Biblical Towns to be Placed Under Siege if Trump's Peace Plan Succeeds

RZA Mizrachi Religious Zionist of America

The Deal of the Century: Cautious pessimism. Rabbi Pruzansky

In answer to RZA and Rabbi Pruzansky. See above links and read the comments below....

My additional comments to those praising the deal.

Rabbi Pruzansky,

I know that the individuals behind the Deal of the Century love Israel and the Jewish People. Their intention is to help Israel and not Chas VeChallilah the opposite.

But the following concerns are very real:

Before the Deal of the Century, in the last few weeks, they were expelling Jews on hilltops with no real explanation. Check out Nerya Zarog. Why were they doing this? They also recently arrested Jewish Settler teenagers for "Arab property damage" and denied them a lawyer using immoral administrative detention justification for denying them rights.

Naftali Bennett for all his laudable statements about the Golden opportunity to now annex Settlement in Judea and Samaria has slandered the hilltop youth in an Op Ed in the NY times in July 2015 Immediately following Duma arson. He along with the Prime Minister, President, Defense Minister, Bagatz, Shabak, MKs, Yesha Leaders and many Rabbonim are part of the problem spreading slander that there is a radical right religious Jewish Terrorism element.

These 15 communities, places like Yitzhar etc. have been the targets of malicious slander. It is almost a "given" with even respected pro Israel spokespeople,  that there exists  "extremist radical religious Jewish Terrorists" yet it has NEVER been proven with fact or evidence.  These communities will now be engulfed in the "State of Palestine ". Will they be annexed and protected?  Will the "Palestinian State tolerate a strong IDF presence which will be necessary to defend these 15 communities, or will these communities be forced to wing it and defend themselves. Will they then be accused of terror activity against their attackers when they exercise their basic human right to defend themselves?

They were promised that they will not be forced to move as part of the Deal of the Century Land Swap as they were from Gaza in the 2005 "Disengagement" (very traumatic) but will they need to move because their lives will be in constant danger surrounded by the enemy if they choose to stay? Will these 15 Communities be given the permission to have their own militia if they do choose to stay?  See David Ha'Ivri's article above.

Why we have reason to be worried about these 3% of Jews.

Let's first see how many Jews live in Judea and Samaria

463,901 Jews living in Judea and Samaria

3% of 463,901 is almost 14,000 and a half times the number of people living in Gush Katif who suffered major trauma before during and after the expulsion.

3% of Arabs who find themselves under Israel's Sovereignty will probably rejoice.

The Real Reason Arabs in Israel Do Not Want to Live in 'Palestine'
by Khaled Abu Toameh
February 4, 2020

Another article that supports the reality that Arab population know they are best off under Israel.

Responding to the deal’s suggestion that Arab communities be transferred to a PA state, Israeli Arabs reject the opportunity, saying they prefer to live in Israel.
" Indeed the situation is explained in the following video [see link], published a year ago, featuring Ramadab Dabash Muktarm a resident of the Arab neighborhood of Sur Baher in eastern Jerusalem, who said in an Al Jazeera interview that 90 percent of residents have no faith in the PA and that “we identify more with the Israeli side.”
“We want to stay with the blue [Israeli] ID card, living in east Jerusalem under Israeli sovereignty,” he affirms."
So what will happen to the 3% of Jews living in the State of Palestine? What is their fate?

Recent clashes between Settler youth and security forces are very worrisome in the sense that they are pointless unless there is a political agenda behind it.

Will we deligitimize the Settler's first?! Chas Vechalila!!!
Divide and Conquer keeps Alive the notion of Jewish Terrorism
We can prevent this from happening
Itamar Ben Gvir's Betrayal.... Turning it Around by Educating and Legitimizing Rabbi Kahane Ob"m and His Teachings Based on Torah Truth

There is also the current reality,  which BEH is changing for the better,  that the left leaning Israel Supreme Court is biased against Jewish Settlers. The Arabs have well paid lawyers Funded by EU that fights to stop demolitions of Arab homes. BeTzelem, Adalah etc. are helping Israel's enemies to defend terrorists and stop demolitions of homes of Arab  Terrorists.  Jews homes are demolished merely for existing in Judea and Samaria and for no other legitimate reason.

So what can we offer the 3% of Jews that don't fall within the Israel section of the map in the Deal of the Century?

Perhaps there is an alternative to Land swaps for these 15 beautiful Communities who will not be annexed by Israel and will not benefit from being protected under Israeli Law as their brothers and sisters in the Settlement blocs who do fall under Israel's portion of the map.

They too are loyal Israeli citizens, they are the salt of the earth, they pay taxes and their children are combat soldiers in the IDF.  They want to stay in their beautiful homes.  These homes are magnificent on so many levels, many built with their own hands, with Love,  Blood,  Sweat and Tears. Their view is breathtaking.  These Settlers love the Land with the entire heart and soul!

Thinking out of the box. This was written in response to the Gush Katif expulsion fiasco years ago but perhaps the time is now ripe.

Brainstorming: Prototype Yesha Autonomy based on Hebraic Law in Judea and Samaria; The answer to those 3%!

What Does the Torah Say About the “Deal of the Century”?

Fwd: Sovereignty Movement: One does not make deals about one's homeland

The Sovereignty Movement reaction to the "Deal of the Century"

    ---------- Forwarded message ---------
    From: <>
    Date: Thu, Jan 30, 2020,

One does not make deals about one's homeland

We have now seen and heard the primary official details of the Deal of the Century and it is, indeed, a bad deal for Israel. Presumably, the intentions that led to the formulation of the program were good intentions; however, they lack the basic understanding of the essence of the Land of Israel.

The Land of Israel is the sole homeland of the Jewish people. The Land of Israel belongs to us, to the generations that preceded us and the generations that have yet to come. One does not conduct business or make deals on a homeland. Any compromise regarding this absolute, historic principle, any agreement to relinquish sections of our land
will be interpreted by history as an admission that the occupation
falsehood is true. A people cannot be an occupier of its own land.

A people does not willingly relinquish its heartland. Beyond its historical significance this concession has very severe security ramifications, as concession, especially in the Middle East in interpreted as weakness, and as such encourages more and more terrorism. We are liable to find ourselves in a situation several times more severe than the situation in Gaza, as the missiles will be much more advanced, much more deadly, and especially, these missiles will be much closer to the densely populated center of the country.

The objective of sovereignty and the Sovereignty Movement is the
realization of the right of the Jewish people over the entire Land of Israel. This is due to a moral obligation based on history, Jewish law, and international law. All this is to ensure the independence and security of the Land of Israel and the Jewish people residing in it.

A necessary corollary of these objectives is preventing the delusional and dangerous idea of establishing a Palestinian state, abrogation of the Oslo Accords, stopping the Arab land grab, and the generous planning of the National Outline Plan for the 100th anniversary of the
establishment of the State of Israel, a plan based on Israeli
sovereignty and a solid Jewish majority between the Mediterranean and the Jordan.

The deal presented today by US President Donald Trump does not meet the essential expectations for the future of the Jewish people. It
runs contrary to the objectives noted here, and consequently, we must forcefully reject it.

Israel must not be drawn into an agreement in principle to this
proposal on the basis of the long term familiarity with Arab
rejectionism. Rather, it must not again say that the Arabs have never missed an opportunity to miss an opportunity. Israel cannot base its Zionist vision and its future on the incidental rejectionism of a
random Arab leader or the agreement of another Arab leader. The Zionist vision and the Jewish connection to the Land of Israel are substantial matters of principle that are not currency to be used in any deal.

19And the land will then yield its fruit and you will eat to satiety, and live upon it securely.

Trump Deal of the Century is Null and Void From Inception.

One can not give away that which is not his. Even if President Trump is well meaning and a masterful negotiator, and the best friend Israel ever had and a powerful leader...This is NOT his call nor within his jurisdiction nor anyone's, to establish a Palestinian State within the Biblical delineated boundaries of the Promised Land, the Land of Israel... A Land Promised to the Chosen People, the Nation of Israel, the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. A People Chosen to be a Kingdom of Priests and a H-ly Nation by keeping the Commandments.

President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu are literally trespassing and trampling on G-d's domain. Not a smart idea.

President Trump is in his Sabbatical decade. For 60 years he toiled and became rich and famous. He acquired great wealth and riches. He turned 70 and President Trump stopped amassing personal wealth. President Trump became a great public servant. He is now devoting his life to making America prosperous and the world a safer place. This 7th Decade in Trump's lifetime is now devoted for G-d.

PM Netanyahu and all the well meaning Jewish advisors led him astray. Surely they have their own pressures. No one is judging but these are words of Truth.

President Trump and all the Jewish Leaders have yet to internalize the following Fundamental Given.

The Nation of Israel is merely the caretaker of the Land of Israel.

The Land however Belongs to G-d the Creator of Heaven and Earth.

Can Israel and the Nation of Israel renege on our everlasting Biblical Covenant with G-d? Never. If we renege, the Land is desolate. The Land waits for it's rightful owner as it did for thousands of years until the Jews return. Billions of dollars for building a Palestinian State? Didn't they try the same plan in Gush Katif? The Arabs took the prosperous Jewish  hothouses in Gaza  and turned the metal into rockets against Southern Israel. Gaza became a terrorist Hamas town and not a blooming desert.

Will we then ask ourselves Why isn't G-d on our side?

If impeachment hearings against President  Trump gains an upper hand suddenly, for no good reason, this unG-dly "Peace Deal of the Century" is the reason. Not Ukraine.

If the charges against Netanyahu gain an upper hand, this "Peace Deal of the Century" is the reason. Not other stupidities.

This is not just talk. This is real deterrent action with real accountability!

Time to openly show our support to the Republican Administration whose actions will really  protect the Jewish people and society at large rather than Democratic leaders of NYC and NYState and even on the Federal level with the likes of Chuck Schumer who are merely promising big bucks. They are going through  the motions for appearances sake and lip service with no real teeth and no emphasis on deterrence and prevention.

They are wasting tax payers money on security to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars!

Allocations with no real deterrence against crime will not get us our money's worth. It may be helpful to those pocketing the funds gaining lawful employment, but if their hands are tied to make arrests and/or keeping dangerous people off the streets,  it is not helpful to future victims G-d forbid.

Trump's Record Towards Jews and Israel Before He Became President

    ** by Dan Feinreich@DanFined

After seeing so many Jews say such horrible things about him, I decided to look further into Trump's background to learn more about his feelings toward the Jews. This is what I learned:

Let's start with the biggest influence in Donald Trump's life, his father. Fred C. Trump welcomed plenty of Jewish tenants to his properties, and, perhaps, as a result of these relationships, Fred became a generous donor to Jewish and Israeli causes.

Fred made generous donations to the Long Island Jewish Medical Center, supported Israel bonds, and served as the treasurer of an Israeli benefit concert. He was so active in Jewish causes that some believed that he belonged to the Jewish faith.

In 1956, Fred Trump also donated land to the Talmud Torah of the Beach Haven Jewish Center in Flatbush, New York. The Center is still active today and offers programs for the youth and elderly, as well as an active synagogue. A plaque in the Beach Haven building reads: "Fred C. Trump, Humanitarian: A Sagacious Man Person Deserving of Every Plaudit and Tribute given by Our Community"

During the 1980's, Fred Trump became friends with the Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations in Manhattan at the time, Benjamin Netanyahu.

Donald Trump continued his father's pattern of donating to Jewish & Israeli causes. In 1976, Trump received the Humanitarian Awardfrom Jewish National Health, a Denver hospital doing research/treatment in respiratory & related disorders.

In March 1983, Trump was awarded the prestigious "Tree of Life" award by the Jewish National Fund (JNF), an organization that raises money to finance large projects in Israel. The award is the highest humanitarian award that honors individuals and families "in appreciation of their outstanding community involvement, dedication to the cause of American-Israeli friendship, and devotion to peace and the security of human life."

JNF officials said that Trump was part of a consortium of donorsinvolved in various projects in Israel, including financing a playground in the town of Yokneam and another in Sufa, a kibbutz in southern Israel.

Trump also donated to help build new infrastructure in the Israeli Negev for Jews from the Sinai that were forced to evacuate under the terms of Israel's peace treaty with Egypt in 1979.

Trump's donations were used to build greenhouses, homes, and roads for evacuees. A plaque bearing Trump's name in English and Hebrew appears on a wall in Moshav Dekel, in the Eshkol region, to honor all the donors that contributed to the resettlement.

In 2003, Trump was part of a group of New York donors who gave to JNF to finance the construction of a reservoir in the western Negev. In 2005, Trump also contributed toward the creation of new communities for Israeliswere evacuated from the Gaza Strip.

According to former JNF chairman Effie Stenzler, the Israeli govt requested assistance from Jewish organizations, like JNF, to help pay the costs of resettlement. JNF "sought donations in the U.S. and one of them was Trump, who is considered to be an avowed supporter of Israel," Stenzler said.

According to,in 1985, Trump was Chairman of JNF's Annual Real Estate Divisions Dinner Dance where over $700K was raised, the largest fundraising affair ever for any JNF event.

July 4, 1984 Trump Attended the 1984 American Friends of Hebrew University Annual Sports Award Fundraising Dinner to Memorialize the 11 Murdered Israeli Athletes During the 1972 Munich Olympics.

In the 1990's, Trump tried to convert his Mar-a-Lago mansion in Palm Beach, FL into a country club, but the town council placed restrictions on his club. He filed a lawsuit claiming the council was discriminating against his club, partly because his club was open to Jews and blacks, while other established clubs excluded Jews and blacks. "The episode shook the Palm Beach establishment, unaccustomed to having its linen, dirty or not, aired publicly." Trump had "elevated the issue of discriminatory policies at social clubs."

Abe Foxman of the ADL, said Trump "put the light on Palm Beach. Not on the beauty & glitter, but on its seamier side of discrimination. It had an impact." He said he received calls from Jewish residents telling how Palm Beach clubs were changing & began to admit Jewish members.

In 2000, "Trump was recognized by UJA Federationof New York's Hospitality Division for being an industry leader. He received the Hotel & Real Estate Visionary of the Century Award. He gave the org a $25,000 donation in 2012 and another $15,000 in 2014."

In addition, "Trump gave a $10,000 donation to the Museum of Jewish Heritage in 2003, according to spokeswoman Lisa Safir, and a gift in 2012 for general operating expenses amounting to $100,000, an amount which puts Trump's name on the museum's wall of contributors."

He has also been a regular contributor to Friends of Israel Defense Forces, according to a spokesman. Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, is a member of that organization's national board.

A spokesman for the ADL said Trump had donated a total of $56,000 to the ADL since the 1970's.

"In 2014, Trump donated $3,750 to the Institute for Jewish Humanities; $5,000 to the Jewish Community Relations Council of NY; $2,500 to the Gurwin Jewish Geriatric Center; and $18,000 to the American Friends of the Jaffa Institute, a nonprofit child welfare agency in Israel."

In 2003, Trump donated $10,000 to American Friends of Beit ElInstitutions, a fund for religious institutions in the Jewish community of Beit El in Samaria. Trump made the donation in honor of his lawyer, David Friedman, who served as its President.

In 2004, Trump was chosen to be the grand marshal of the Salute to Israel Parade, which was the largest single gathering in support of Israel, with an estimated 1 million spectators, 40 floats, 16 marching bands and dozens of entertainers.

In 2006, Trump announced plans to build "Trump Tower Israel" in Ramat Gan, a city on the outskirts of Tel Aviv. The tower, the tallest in Israel when completed, was supposed to be a 70 story luxury apartment building.
Trump also had plans to build the first Trump luxury hotel in Netanya. In 2008, Trump sent his daughter, Ivanka, to Israel to study the local real estate market. In 2013, Trump announced plans to build Israel's first Trump golf course in Ashkelon, which would have included a resort village, convention hall, country club, and commercial shops.

The Israeli govt released a file in 2017, called the "Trump file," which detailed Trump's visit to Israel in 1989. Trump was interested in visiting Israel because he was considering several business deals.

Although all these attempts to bring the Trump brand name to Israel fell through, for various reasons,Ivankawas quoted in 2016 as saying, "we will definitely continue looking into luxury residence and hotels in Israel in the future."

In 2013, Trump appeared in a video from his Manhattan office endorsing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "My name is Donald Trump and I'm a big fan of Israel." "Frankly, a strong prime minister is a strong Israel."

In 2014, Trump pledged to donate more than $100,000 to the Israeli emergency rescue service, United Hatzalah, for the purchase of four ambulances that each cost $26,000, according to the Algemeiner Journal, a Jewish newspaper based in New York.

In 2015, Trump received the Liberty Award from The Algemeinerfor his contributions to U.S.-Israel relations. Trump accepted the award at "The Algemeiner's 'Jewish 100' Gala" in NYC and was introduced by his daughter Ivanka.

At that event, Trump said "I have a Jewish daughter. This wasn't in the plan, but I'm very glad it happened." He also added, "We love Israel. We will fight for Israel 100 percent, 1000 percent. It will be there forever."

In late 2016, Ivanka visited a Florida synagogue & spoke to the audience about her father's reaction to her conversion to Judaism in 2009. "There was no question, there was no argument," she said, adding that her father supported her "from day one."

So this was a summary of Donald Trump's involvement with the Jewish community and with Israel before he became President. His record of friendship, generosity and affection for the Jewish community in the US and in Israel is stunning and extraordinary.

Yet, how has the American Jewish community responded to him? Rather than express gratitude and appreciation for all Trump has done on behalf of Jewish causes, the reaction of American Jews toward Trump was, and continues to be vile, vicious, virulent, venomous and vitriolic.

The response from American Jews was to cherry pick isolated quotes, look for "dog whistles" in campaign ads and interpret them all in the worst possible way, while completely ignoring all his other statements/actions where he expressed tremendous support for the Jewish people.

If this is how US Jews respond to someone who has done so much for Jewish causes, no future President will have any incentive to do the same. More than 75% of Israeli Jews consider Trump a great friend and perhaps the best friend Jews have ever had as President. Are they wrong?

After reviewing the history of Trump's relationship with the Jewish community, there is plenty of evidence to suggest that the main reason Trump has been the most pro-Jewish, pro-Israel President in US history is precisely because…that's who he is.
