Hillsdale College will not accept Students with Federal Grants as they don't want to comply with Federal Regulations that go against their principles. They do their own fundraising and remain independent.
"By refusing even one penny of federal or state aid for grants, awards, loans, or scholarships, we free ourselves from educational regulation and programs imposed by the government. "
