גישה חדש בעד צדק ומשפט לעמירם בן אוליאל Tsedek UMishpat for Amiram ben Uliel - Rethinking Approach

Update 2:

Arutz7 stands by its story that he was offered a study partner. See latest link below.

Amiram's wife initially disagreed.

Two possibilities:

Amiram was offered a study partner over Shavuot and he refused the offer and he didn't tell and/or he hid this information from his wife.

Alternatively:

Arutz7 was lied to for whatever reason and they did not keep their end of their agreement and did not offer him a study partner.

Personally, it would not surprise me and it would make sense that Amiram and his supporters stick to the initial request and insist on a Minyan and not just a study partner. Why would we trust his handler's with their choice of study partner? But that is my conjecture. We still don't know what actually happened.

Shabak's choice of Yigal Amir as a study partner is interesting. Yigal Amir and the murder of Rabin is a mystery not solved. There are parallels. Yigal Amir too might have been framed. It seems though that Amir was a Shabak player/victim while Amiram just a victim. The forensic evidence does not seem to add up that Yigal Amir actually fired the bullet that killed Rabin and it looks like he too was set up. Many never believed he murdered Rabin. Too many questions. Many believe that he thought he was shooting empty bullets. There was a mysterious lapse of time between the shooting and Rabin's arrival to the hospital. The bullet that killed Rabin didn't seem to come from Yigal Amir's location from where he shot the bullet.

*Report: Man convicted of Duma murders refuses to study with Yigal Amir*
Amiram Ben-Uliel, the man convicted of a deadly firebomb attack on an Arab family, refuses offers for study partner - including Yigal Amir.

Update 1:

I was just informed by trusted sources that according to Amiram's wife, the prison services never even offered Amiram a study partner on Shavuot and they lied when they say they did. In either case, why trust that a study partner of their choosing is to ease Amiram's solitary confinement?  We can logically conjecture that their choice of a study partner would  be one to benefit their agenda, and thereby cause additional emotional or psychological trauma. Maybe they projected what Amiram would do knowing their true intentions, and  figured he would anyway reject their choice of a study partner. Maybe Gam zu leTova for Amiram that they didn't offer him a study partner.

Posted today on Arutz7 May 28, 2023 the day after Shavuot

Jewish prisoner kept in solitary for holiday despite orders.
Amiram Ben-Uliel, an observant Jewish prisoner, was kept in solitude for Shavuot despite Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir's orders to the contrary.

My comments:

Yes he was offered a study partner.
(Updated...apparently he wasn't. Or he was but just one, Yigal Amir. Maybe others but who knows for sure? He was not offered to be placed in Agaf Torani with others like minded prisoners  to end his solitary, cruel, controlled prison sentence)

It (updated: would not or), did not, surprise me that Amiram refused all their suggestions for a study partner.

Here is the news item prior to Shavuot on Arutz7.
Amiram Ben Uliel to be released from solitary confinement for Shavuot
Man convicted of Duma arson to be allowed to interact with other prisoners during holiday under Ben-Gvir's policy.

Why were we so misled to believe this compromise of having a study partner in his cell was equivalent to being released from solitary confinement and allow him the opportunity to interact with other prisoners?

The initial demand was for him to be with a Minyan in the Agaf Torani, in the Torah religious division.

Surely we can suspect his handlers would wish to control their choice of Amiram's study partners with someone compromised whom they can manipulate.

It was wise for Amiram to refuse their offer.

Thank you but no thanks.
