Hasidic Jew Attacked By Four Thugs in Williamsburg; Search Underway for Suspects
"It seems like it's open season on the Jews of New York City, and 'leadership' is nowhere to be found," said Hikind. "We cannot continue to tolerate this violent antisemitism that's sowing fear in a segment of New Yorkers."
Another day, another brutal and vicious attack on a Hasidic Jew in Brooklyn. We don't need more empty talk from city and state "leaders". We need action! The NYPD should be stepping up patrols in all Jewish neighborhoods until this wave of violent antisemitism subsides.
There seems to be no end in sight, as the number of attacks on Jews continues to rise drastically. That's why we're rallying this Sunday, September 22 at 12pm in City Hall Park (249-243 Broadway between Murray St and Park Pl) to send this message loud and clear: it's high time for zero tolerance of violent antisemitic intolerance. Enough is enough.
If American Jews have become targets for repeated violent assaults in the largest Jewish community in America, it's a damning statement about our current state of affairs. But we cannot wait for murder to wake up and fight back against this viciousness. The time is now. It's already late, but not too late.
