Fwd: Mattot Arim Build in all of Judea and Samaria not just in small settlement blocs a fraction of the area. Women in Green: Lieberman is mistaken & misleading ליברמן טועה ומטעה Don't put the blame on Trump Administration!

bs"d

My comments:

Trump was elected because of a strong Evangelical Vote who reads the Bible!   His closest inner circle were definitely Pro Jewish Settlement in Judea and Samaria.....His message prior to being elected is that they would not object to Israel applying Sovereignty over Judea and Samaria a One State Solution. After all, there are 22 Arab States. We don't need another Arab State that is Judenrein...   Does Israel need to be surrounded by the Hamas State of Gaza, the Fatah State of Palestine and Hizbollah State in Lebanon in addition to all her other Arab neighbors?...that was the message of new Republican Platform under Trump which eliminated the Two State Solution paragraphs of the previous Republican platforms. This new platform was widely accepted and received a standing ovation.

Why then have they changed their tune now that Trump got into office.

Perhaps the GOI (Government of Israel) is to blame... convincing the Trump Administration otherwise?   It sure looks that way to me.  It seems to me that the weakness is coming from weak hearted Jews rather than from the Trump Administration and my conjecture is to check the money trail since they are acting  with their recent policies like they are blind and stupid and it says Shochad maaVer Pikchim. Bribery blinds the wise. ...

Lev Melachim Beyad Hashem. The heart of the King is in the hand of Hashem.  Trump's administration and Hamas are merely the messengers of HaSHEM.   Let us look inward...

Are We Jews Worthy of our Land?  Have we sufficiently yearned to settle our Promised Land, the Land of Israel knowing full well that Judea and Samaria are Derech HaAvot, the Path of our Forefathers, the heartland of Israel, clearly within the delineated Biblical borders?  Are we sincerely yearning for a Righteous Jewish Court of Law based on Torah as we pray for each and every day and are we yearning for the return of the Temple?

Trumps victory was miraculously in our favor.  Will we blow it with the likes of Netanyahu and  Lieberman calling the shots while they are being manipulated with political forces that are not in Israel's best interests ?

Why can't the Resolution of Marianbad in 1937 be the cry coming from the Moetzet Gedolei Hatorah of Today?

I sadly see a multi faceted assault against settlement in Judea and Samari. In spite of the pro settlement rhetoric by the government of Israel...
  •  I see the weakening the resolve of the IDF as a result of Public condemnation prior to investigation of soldier Alon Azarya and an 18 month sentence of manslaughter for neutralizing a known terrorist out to stab Israeli civilians and soldiers. Stupid and senseless and downright dangerous for the Israel Defense force.
  • I see the attempt to demoralize the salt of the earth, the Nationalist camp with the horrible and immoral destruction of beautiful homes in Amona and Ofra and slated destruction in Netiv Avot in Elazar.  Stupid, cruel and beyond senseless.
  • Mattot Arim, a most sensible and fair minded political watch Organization is now warning us of what seems to be an agenda by Israel and her enemies to prevent expansion and  future Jewish Settlement in the  vast majority of territory in Judea and Samaria.
  • Women in Green severely criticize Lieberman's opposition to application of Jewish Sovereignty and for wrongly misleading the public and placing the blame on the American Administration.

Is Mattot Arim correct in sounding the alarm that  Netanyahu and Lieberman Administration will just allow new settlement in a fraction of Judea and Samaria setting the stage for a Palestinian State?

Mattot Arim writes:

The above yellow-blue map was presented by an Israeli territorial affairs official who serves Netanyahu and served Sharon, in an interview to CNN – http://edition.cnn.com/videos/world/2017/02/15/west-bank-settlement-building-blocks-liebermann-pkg.cnn
Why is Netanyahu afraid to build  in the big, yellow-marked part of Judea-Samaria? Why build only in the small, blue part – euphemistically termed "settlement blocs", these are actually mere crumbs of territory! In the CNN interview, the official points to the yellow  area and says it can all be … "Palestine"!
Netanyahu MUST be urged to withstand foreign pressure on Israel – and  approve building in the big, yellow part of Judea-Samaria. The Likud's most senior minister, Gilad Erdan, has said this clearly: there must be building "everywhere in Judea-Samaria, not just in settlement blocs". http://www.jpost.com/Israel-News/Public-Security-Minister-Make-Palestinians-pay-for-refusing-to-make-peace-481395
The Knesset's Land of Israel Lobby have similarly blasted the lack of development of "communities excluded from the Left's settlement bloc plan" (i.e. "yellow" communities –there are dozens of them!) http://www.israelhayom.com/site/newsletter_article.php?id=39829.

Women in Green: Minister Lieberman is Mistaken and Misleading!

The heads of Women in Green have severe criticism for Minister Lieberman's words against the application of sovereignty and assert that he bases his position on misleading data, ignoring the changes in the Middle East and the American administration.

Women in Green responds with severity to the words this morning of Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman in the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee against the vision of sovereignty.

"Minister Lieberman is mistaken and misleading when he says that the application of sovereignty would lead to a crisis with the American administration", say Katsover and Matar, and clarify: "We do not know who Minister Lieberman has been talking to, but from our sources, it is clear that the policy of the Trump administration has not changed. Only yesterday there was a delegation from Congress here, who came to arrange for the transfer of the embassy. Our sources in Congress continue to say that Israel must consolidate her policy positions and these will be honored by the American administration and the White House. The Trump administration does not intend to force any plan upon Israel".

"It must further be noted that for decades, relations between Israel and the United States were subject to disagreement over the Palestinian matter and the matter of Jerusalem, and nevertheless, the American administration continued to maintain good relations with Israel in light of the depth of American interests in the Middle East. The Palestinian matter is very low among American considerations. At the top of this list is the conflict with Iran, as well as dealing with Islamic terror and strengthening the pro-American regimes in the region. As a result", state the two women, "the application of sovereignty will not result in the crisis and conflict that Minister Lieberman is concerned about. The thought that Israel must place her security needs in the hands of the American president is unthinkable".

The heads of the movement, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, claim that Lieberman is also mistaken and misleading when he presents demographic data that does not reflect reality. While Minister Lieberman speaks of 2.7 million Arab Palestinians in Judea and Samaria, the actual data that has been validated by senior demographers is that there are 1.8 million Arab Palestinians, and this figure has been trending continually downward for the past twenty years along with the most rapid westernization of any other area.

Relating to Lieberman's claim, according to which, the cost of services that the Arab residents of Judea and Samaria would receive when sovereignty is applied, would amount to twenty billion shekels, Katsover and Matar say that "We must remember that the Land of Israel is worth more than twenty billion shekels. And moreover, Minister Lieberman knows well that the expenses in security would be ten times greater than this if there was, heaven forbid, a Palestinian state. The Oslo Accords cost Israel more than 933 billion shekels. We can only guess how much more a Palestinian state would cost us, G-d forbid. The price in blood, literally, would also be higher in the absence of an Israeli presence in the field, in the absence of intelligence, in a situation where a Palestinian terror state could flow in heavy munitions that would threaten the population centers and in a reality where a Palestinian terror state could form alliances with hostile armies and states.

Regarding Minister Lieberman's words about the conduct of the Border Police, the two comment that "with the government's policy of appeasement as an example, what do you want from the little soldier and policeman at the gate?"

Cabinet decides to remove metal detectors from Temple Mount
http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/232934

Watch Honest Reporting: Temple Mount: What's the point in praying if you can't bring your gun?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryKeoZaipDs Daniel Pomerantz Senior Editor. See 1:13 into video

Transcription:
"...The media was saying that the Palestinians who remained outside of the metal detector were protesting.  But they were not. They were actually shouting death threats saying that they were intending to murder Israeli men and mass rape Israeli women as Mohammad had done in Khaibar massacre in the year 628.  Honest Reporting was present at these so called protests and heard the death threats in person. But even though translators were readily available to the Press, here is what the media had to say about the death threats.  NOTHING" The next day Palestinians threw fire bombs and tires at Israelis. Three were killed in the act. At least one of them when his Molotov cocktails exploded in his hands. So far we havent found this in any mainstream press".... .

context: Khaiber  A village where 800 Jewish men got slaughtered in front of families and women taken as sex slaves, by first army of Islam.  We don't have to use our imagination.  This is precisely what ISIS has done to the Yezidis.

Now please watch this video of this brave American kid on Shabbat on Security Patrol named Goldstein  with a powerful message.  He is the one who now has to protect a community like CHALAMISH in Judea from terrorist infiltration. Why should it be all on his shoulders?  He is sharing with us his burden. So I say to my fellow Jews in the Diaspora....We are all each others guarantors.  Kol Yisroel Areivim Zeh LeZeh.  As Moshe Rabeinu rebuked the Tribe of Reuvein and Gad ""Will your brothers go to war and conquer Israel while you remain here peacefully?"

Goldstein makes it a point that Palestinian communities do not need such protections as they  have no need to worry that Jewish settlers will infiltrate their homes and murder them.  Let me add that unfortunately the SHABAK has taken the side of the enemy with the Duma blood libel and tried to frame hilltop youth following torture and forced confessions of hilltop youth for arson and murder of a Palestinian family  (and came out empty handed).

Where is the IDF protecting this community? Why is Goldstein left on his lonesome to defend his community?

Where is COGAT (Coordination of Government Activity in the Territories) ?   Doesn't Civil Administration mean making protection of the community a number one priority for Jewish Settlement in Judea and Samaria?  That is not their priority as is pretty obvious from their website!

This is all happening in the month of Av.  It is an auspicious time  for bad leadership!  But we the people, grass roots, we must not repeat the mistakes of the past!

The IDF, the Shabak and now the Netanyahu government are all complicit with a terrible CHILLUL HASHEM!  But WE the people are NOT!

The People must not accept their Leadership so that we won't be complicit as were the Jews in the Desert! Put your protest on your facebook page, email your protest to the Knesset members,  email it to friends so that when you face your Creator after 120 years they will see that you did not sit silent to allow this Chillul Hashem to happen!

We must turn to Hashem and beg for alternative leadership. We must yell and scream as  Daniel Luria is doing, as Dr. Paul Brody is doing as I am doing and  share your outrage with all your lists and whatsapp groups and websites and blogs and demand that Jews start asserting their rights to Eretz Yisroel and asserting Jewish Sovereignty and control over Har HaBayit and Maarat Hamachpela in Hebron by asserting control and jurisdiction!

We probably need to go one step further for Teshuva in our day than just stop the talking campaign to bring the Geula as per the well publicized video of HaRav Sorotzkin. We now have the opportunity to literally, Pshuto KeMashmaoh,  show that we yearn for Malchus Shamayim, the Kingdom of Heaven (not Islam), Malchut Beit David (not Netanyahu) and the Beit HaMikdash (not Al Aksa)  with our insistence that Israel assert control of security on Har HaBayit, Temple Mount.

Rabbi Yitzchok Sorotzkin Teshuva: Stop the Talking Campaign. Going one step further... Yearn for Malchut Shamayim, Malchut Beit David, Beit Hamikdash.https://shemittahrediscovered.blogspot.com/2015/04/rabbi-yitzchok-sorotzkin-teshuva-stop.html

Only then will Tisha Baav turn from a day of mourning to a day of Celebration.

Watch this interview on BBC where the BBC interviewer argues repeatedly in favor or removing the metal detectors with Naftali Bennett.  Here we see Chillul Hashem big time!

This newscaster tries to convince Netanyahu that Israel should remove the metal detectors, even though he admits he sees the rationale not to remove the metal detectors, based on the fact that the  IDF and SHABAK are in favor of removing the Metal Detectors on Har Habayit.   Naftali Bennett finds himself in the difficult position to somehow defend Israel's position not to remove the metal detectors even though the IDF and the SHABAK are in favor of removing the metal detectors. .
Bennett on BBC: "Read my lips: Temple Mount is open".https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbN-gnxJydI

Ok Bennett, what is your next move?  The IDF and SHABAK seem to have won this round over the will of the Jewish People and the Police and over sanity.

The betrayal of Defense Minister Lieberman and the Shabak is not surprising to those who have followed Lieberman and Shabak. We saw it coming with their reaction and mistreatment of Elor Azaria and their mistreatment of the hilltop youth

IDF soldier who killed subdued terrorist in Hebron convicted of manslaughter
Re: Elor Azaria "...This is a tough verdict but it must be accepted; we are all duty-bound to honor the ruling and show restraint," Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said.He said that while he personally "didn't like" the verdict, Azaria's supporters had to "stop lashing out against the IDF chief of staff, because we must keep the military above the political fray."
Lieberman said Azaria and his family would receive help from the IDF "in every way possible."

Yes the IDF soldier showed restrained in neutralizing the terrorist in Chalamish who is now being nursed to health. I am glad that Lieberman is seeing the fruits of his labors as it will surely comes back to haunt him and Gadi Eisenkot as well when they see first hand the blood stained kitchen of the Solomon family . Maybe that is why Lieberman is now calling for the death penalty for the terrorist. However, If he is so weak regarding metal detectors what chance is there of following through. . Political fray dominates his military judgement. He bends with political pressure.   If we yell and scream about the metal detectors and demand his resignation we can probably get him to change his tune.   He will talk tough until the Arabs carry on and then he will retreat.

Should he be our Defense Minister?.

We know he can be real tough when it comes to the settlers.  But they won't threaten him with knives and machine guns and death threats!
Re: recent Amona Expulsion  - Mattot Arim has been sounding the alarm about Lieberman who supported it!

Fwd: [Mattotarim] Will Cabinet vote for Liberman's Carrots?
Fwd: Mattot Arim Build in all of Judea and Samaria not just in small settlement blocs a fraction of the area. Women in Green: Lieberman is mistaken & misleading ליברמן טועה ומטעה Don't put the blame on Trump Administration!

Lieberman and Shabak persecuted the Hilltop Youth as have been documented on my blog Shemittah rediscovered.

False Criminalization of Hilltop Youth by Defense Minister Lieberman and Shabak. Why? ( 'They overturned beds and came out empty-handed' - Israel National News

COGAT as well must go!

Go on the COGAT which is the   Civil Administration of Judea and Samaria website to see the pro Palestinian BIAS that the Jewish Settlers in Judea and Samaria are forced to live,  under the Netanyahu Administration. http://www.cogat.mod.gov.il/en/Judea_and_Samaria/Pages/default.aspx

Do not cry in despair as did the Jews in the desert. Simply tell the leadership that you do NOT support their betrayal to G-d and the Jewish People by caving in to the demands of a G-dless people.  These murderers who were calling in their protest to behead the men and rape the Jewish women have been  given the green light to openly call for the violation of Basic Laws of Civilization known as the Seven Noahide Laws. This is a sure recipe for Terrible War and destruction on our Holy Soil.

Let us call  a different Leadership and for a vote of no confidence of the Likud Netanyahu Administration who caved in.  They are unworthy to be Leaders of a Jewish Nation in these dangerous times!

Sincerely, Robin Ticker.

Subject: Shame and disgrace for removing metal detectors. SEEMS that Arab violence "works" !!! From Daniel Luria (Ateret Cohanim)
Arab incitement, terror and violence "works" !!!

A few simple questions for our friends and readers.

1/ Why did Mayor Barkat back down and agree to retroactively approve over 60 homes, that were illegally built in a national park-green zoned area - called Gan HaMelech, between the City of David and the old Yemenite Village of Shiloach?

2/ Why are Jews forbidden to pray at the Temple Mount and even arrested by Israeli authorities, if they pray or do anything of a "religious" nature on the Temple Mount?

3/ Why or how did the Wakf and the Moslem Arab world get away with dumping over 100 truckloads of artifacts and debris from Temple times, outside the Old City and how did they manage to illegally build another mosque in the catacombs under Har HaBayit and near the ElAksa mosque? How did they get away with fixing the bulge in the Southern Wall themselves, as opposed to Israeli authorities fixing the Jewish holy site and wall, before it was going to collapse?

4/ How do the Arabs get away with building illegally nearly everywhere and anywhere in the eastern neighbourhoods of Jerusalem?(And beyond in Judea and Samaria)

5/ Why are Jews who live in the old Jewish Quarter (Moslem Quarter) of the Old City, limited in their movements and told to stay i their homes, during certain times in Ramadan? Why are we even "forced" to place security cameras, security systems, security doors and rooftop playgrounds in our compounds in and around the Old City? Why?

(We can also add  - why is the Israeli Government "scared" and very hesitant to give building permits in Jerusalem or in Judea and Samaria (area "C"), while the Arabs build as they desire? And also - why do we simply return these filthy sick terrorists bodies to their families for burial?)

AND FINALLY

Why did or is the Israeli Government/Cabinet which is currently being run by Netanyahu's Likud, apparently back down, and will soon effectively remove the metal detectors that were placed at the gateway entrances to the Temple Mount after the recent killing of 2 Israeli policemen by a few Arab terrorists?(Just like the metal detectors checking those entering the Kotel area, the Cave of Patriarchs in Chevron, Bituach Leumi..etc)
WHY?

The answer
Because -  Arab incitement, terror and violence "works" !!!
(And also because the "heads" on our so-called leaders shoulders are still stuck in the shtetl..... and because some of our pathetic weak leaders are still scared of the "goyim" and what the "goyim" will say.(This can be the UN, USA, the Arab League or Jordan...etc) Maybe some even think, that we are simply a star on another country's flag, instead of proudly recognizing that we have our own star of David on our own blue and white flag.
International pressure coupled with Arab violence (And Jordanian subtle threats) has sadly "done it again" !!

To my-our democratically elected Israeli Government:

I firstly hope, that i will wake up, and all the above, will be just a bad nightmare, and you will show strength, and leave the metal detectors in place.
BUT IF NOT THEN........

Shame on you for removing the metal detectors and showing such weakness.
(They - our enemies will only gain strength from this back-stepping move. Don't be surprised when you are "eaten for breakfast". This is the WILD middle EAST !!)

Shame on you for not internalizing that we - the Jewish people, are the indigenous people of this land, and that we are the true baal habayit of Israel, Yerushalayim and also of Har HaBayit !!!!

Shame on you for allowing Arab violence, Arab rioters, Moslem fanaticism  and world pressure (USA, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt...etc) to "run" this country and dictate terms to you.

** At the time of writing this email - "rumours" are circulating regarding Israel"bowing and typically bending" to Jordan/WAKF pressure, and may remove the metal detectors from entrances to Har HaBayit if Israel wishes to see the release of the Israeli security personnel and others from the Israel Embassy in Jordan after the recent shooting of yet another sick Arab-Jordanian terrorist by security personnel.
Sad and unbelievable.

You the Israeli Government - NOTE: Jewish blood spilled in the past and Jewish blood that may unfortunately be spilled in the future, in and around the Old City - is partially on your heads, for giving 'them' the wrong message and giving them "wind in their sails" !!!

It's time for a new breed of leadership.
A Jewish leadership who truly understands who we are as G-d's chosen people - our heritage-history, our eternal rights to this land...a leadership that can translate the concept of being a "baal habayit" into reality on the ground...who internalize exactly who are our hate-filled and violent Arab-Moslem enemies (Thorns in our sides and who according to Torah should be driven out - see end chapters of the Book of Numbers-BaMidbar....in light of recent stabbings and horrific killings and subsequent support by other Arabs)....who aren't afraid of the goyim or world pressure or Arab pressure and violence.....who wont show weakness but will rather act with both strength and strength of conviction... who crush the head of the "Arab-Moslem fundamentalist" snake...AND who preempt and take the initiative and not just react like 'kneejerks'.

Its time for real positive change to our leadership.

Amona Revisited, Is Lieberman doing enough by merely actively looking for a solution to prevent the evacuation of Amona?

bs"d

Rabbosai, I feel that there is something much more at stake here.

"Evacuation of Amona" sounds very mild.   It is anything but...

There are those of us who recall the brutal attack and terrible suffering in Amona in 2006 upon defenseless Jewish youth and even against sympathetic Knesset members.

Three Knesset Members Hurt in Amona Evacuation http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/Flash.aspx/97760#.V3I34fkrJdg

It was authorized by the Israeli Gov't  under Olmert, with riot police and  trained riot horses used against their own people.  Many of them minors.  This brutal attack in Amona followed the heart wrenching expulsion from Gush Katif in Summer 2005.  Very raw emotional pain etched forever in the hearts and minds of those affected a large majority of the kids protesting another "evacuation".

This community deserves an apology an expression of regret, comfort and understanding rather than further heartache.

How can Israel even begin to contemplate adding insult to injury with additional intolerable acts to the Community of Amona?

This is what the government should do in order to undo and correct the injustice and crimes against the Amona community.
  • APOLOGIZE to the community and victims of the brutal Amona attack of 2006,  and especially to the HILLTOP YOUTH. Admit that the Government of Israel under Olmert was wrong.
  • Compensate for pain and suffering.
  • Aid Jewish Settlement and growth in Amona
  • Dismantle the Nationalist Crimes Unit
  • Do away with Jewish Administrative detention and conduct a fair investigation of Shabak and the Judicial System that have slandered and prosecuted and incarcerated and tortured Jewish Hilltop youth.  ( Administrative Detention for both Jew and Arab alike must have  a firm and reasonable justification. Otherwise Administrative Detention violates basic human rights.)
  • Advocate annexing Amona and the rest of Judea and Samaria to Israel.
This is the response that would gain trust and respect for Lieberman from the Nationalist camp

How can we trust Lieberman and Netanyahu if harassment of Hilltop youth is ongoing. Why does the government  continuously harass, libel and slander the salt of the earth?  And let me tell you a secret. It's not only the kids who have become distrustful, their family and friends, far and wide, all ages  have as well.

It takes a lot more to build up trust. Stopping the  demolition of a community is a big step in the right direction but not enough so long as there is a  Nationalist Crime Unit to harass and invent Nationalist crimes.  It is not enough so long as corrupt judges, and ISA (Shabak), Israel police and judiciary continue to enforce immoral Administrative detention for Jewish Youth thereby violating their civil rights. IT is not enough with with hilltop youth sitting months at a time in jail, or under house arrest or alternatively distanced from their home and family and friends, with no way to defend themselves against charges, with no real evidence against them other than false allegations,  and/or forced confession due to torture and no fair and transparent trial, but tried and convicted in the court of the Media. http://www.jewishpress.com/news/breaking-news/this-bench-belongs-to-the-minor-from-yitzhar/2016/06/22/

So allow me to remind you what happened in Amona in 2006 in case you forgot or never knew.

Jim Vinyard speaks up about Amona. Rabbis, Jewish Media and Radio still silent
http://shemittahrediscovered.blogspot.com/2006/02/jim-vinyard-speaks-up-jewish-media-and.html
Now let's return to the discussion at hand.

Was the hilltop upon which Amona is situated, populated and inhabited by Arabs prior to the Jews settling the hilltop or was it an empty hilltop with no Arabs living or claiming to live there?

In 1948, many Arabs fled as per the instructions of their leaders, not forced out, and their property and land was then resettled by Jews.   There was a war and we won.   According to Wikipedia, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israeli_land_and_property_laws#The_.27Absentees_Property_Law.27 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1948_Palestinian_exodus According to Simha Flapan,[27] "a detailed account of exactly how abandoned Arab property assisted in the absorption of the new immigrants was prepared byJoseph Schechtman":

It is difficult to overestimate the tremendous role this lot of abandoned Arab property has played in the settlement of hundreds of thousands of Jewish immigrants who have reached Israel since the proclamation of the state in May 1948. Forty-seven new rural settlements established on the sites of abandoned Arab villages had by October 1949 already absorbed 25,255 new immigrants. By the spring of 1950 over 1 million dunams had been leased by the custodian to Jewish settlements and individual farmers for the raising of grain crops.

Large tracts of land belonging to Arab absentees have also been leased to Jewish settlers, old and new, for the raising of vegetables. In the south alone, 15,000 dunams of vineyards and fruit trees have been leased to cooperative settlements; a similar area has been rented by the Yemenites Association, the Farmers Association, and the Soldiers Settlement and Rehabilitation Board. This has saved the Jewish Agency and the government millions of dollars. While the average cost of establishing an immigrant family in a new settlement was from $7,500 to $9,000, the cost in abandoned Arab villages did not exceed $1,500 ($750 for building repairs and $750 for livestock and equipment).

Abandoned Arab dwellings in towns have also not remained empty. By the end of July 1948, 170,000 people, notably new immigrants and ex-soldiers, in addition to about 40,000 former tenants, both Jewish and Arab, had been housed in premises under the custodian's control; and 7,000 shops, workshops and stores were sublet to new arrivals. The existence of these Arab houses-vacant and ready for occupation-has, to a large extent, solved the greatest immediate problem which faced the Israeli authorities in the absorption of immigrants. It also considerably relieved the financial burden of absorption.[28

Fast  Fwd:  A Jubilee ago,   50 years ago, in June 1967, Israel was attacked by her enemies surrounded on all sides and they fought and miraculously won.  They recaptured East Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria our ancient and Biblical Homeland.

Yet the rules that allowed Tel Aviv and Jerusalem to be resettled by Jews  in 1948, somehow didn't apply to the resettlement of Jews in Judea and Samaria. After 1967, it becomes an illegal act to settle these hilltops. Thank you Defense Minister Lieberman for highlighting the inconsistencies of Israel Law within the green line and outside of the green line. We want you to take this battle to the end.  It is not just about Amona.  It is about each and every hilltop and each and every home that did not get a proper permit which is slated for destruction because it is situation on Land that Israel reclaimed in the 6 Day War. .

There is an unfair double standard regarding Jewish Settlement in Judea and Samaria.

Why are we shocked when the Nations of the World apply a double standard on Israel?

Let us discuss what happened in 1776 The American Revolution:
Many years ago, Native Indians settled North America including what is now known as the United States of America.   Columbus came from Europe and then boatloads followed. Pioneers came and settled and inhabited the New Country.  The 13 colonies were established under British rule.

Then the British mistreated the Colonists with intolerable acts.  There was taxation without representation. (Not nearly as horrific as the intolerable acts perpetrated against the defenseless youth of Amona).  So the Colonists fought back and won a just war against the British.

Does America need to demolish new homes built by the Colonists on property once owned by Britain or Native Americans? Obviously this is a rhetorical question and the answer is obvious.

Back to the subject at hand....

Lieberman's current leadership has not changed the ongoing harassment of the hilltop youth.  The latest outrage is this 15 year old kid, a minor, who is not allowed to live at home with his parents in the Shomron.    Basically they are throwing him to the streets and distancing him from his parents. Now there is a bench campaign organized by advocates sweeping the country, with signs all over the country,  that is raising consciousness about the homelessness of this 15 year old kid entitled "This Bench Belongs to the Minor from Yitzhar" http://www.jewishpress.com/news/breaking-news/this-bench-belongs-to-the-minor-from-yitzhar/2016/06/22/

People are beginning to distrust Lieberman like they did Yaalon. He is pandering to Obama reassuring the Administration of his commitment to a 2 State Solution knowing fully well that Judea and Samaria should be under Jewish Sovereignty and not the Sovereignty of a Palestinian leader who is blood libeling Israel accusing them of poisoning Palestinians.  Lieberman is just another politician, on Netanyahu's team who continues in their intolerable treatment and harassment against the hilltop youth.

Perhaps this bench campaign makes Lieberman look bad.  His tough stand reputation is undergoing an about face as is typical once a right winger accepts a political leadership position.

Along comes Arutz7 and reports that Lieberman is going to help save Amona.  Everyone will now be grateful to Lieberman for not allowing Amona to be demolished and once again Lieberman can be counted as a Nationalist... a nice save face for Lieberman....

On Friday, Deputy Defense Minister Eli Ben Dahan visited Amona along with a number of Jewish Home activists.
According to the Ben Dahan, the Defense Minister was actively looking for a solution which would obviate the need for an evacuation.
"Defense Minister Liberman has issued a directive to the relevant officials to make every possible effort to prevent the evacuation of Amona."
"I'm certain," Ben Dahan continued, "that the Prime Minister has also issued a clear directive to the same effect to prevent Amona's evacuation. I'm making every effort to ensure that that happens [a solution for Amona]."

My message to Lieberman... Thank you for your efforts but you can't get off the hook so easy....Here again are my recommendations:

Sincerely,

Robin Ticker

Government won't discuss legalization of Havat Gilad outpost. Deja Vu . One more strike against Defense Minister Lieberman who likes to "look" for a solution but doesn't deliver...

bs"d

...apparently we thanked Lieberman prematurely....

Government won't discuss legalization of Havat Gilad outpost
Despite promises, the government will not debate the legalization of Havat Gilad outpost. 'The time for excuses is over.'

Amona Revisited, Is Lieberman doing enough by merely actively looking for a solution to prevent the evacuation of Amona?

Here are some ideas that have been offered to create Facts on the Ground that will help the Security situation in Judea and Samaria for a long and lasting peace!

  • Time for  Defense Minister Lieberman to retire.  In his place we need someone who appreciates G-d's active role in our life!  One who prays for Divine Protection and understands what we as a nation must be worthy.  We need a G-d fearing man, who deeply values the Torah especially guarding the Mitzvoth that protect the Nation  The signs of a G-d Fearing individual with such qualifications is one who values and guards  Shabbat, Brit Milah and Tefillin.
  • End rules of engagement against terrorists that put the lives of our own soldiers in danger while they try too hard to save the lives of the enemy.  This is not a reflection of a moral army.  This is an army that betrays its soldiers.
  • Instruct IDF to confiscate cameras there to put our soldiers in a bad light
  • Instruct IDF to treat enemy children,  pregnant women, disabled etc with extreme caution as if they are ready to detonate in a suicide mission and not with restraint and compassion lest we fall into their trap. Know that your enemy uses deceipt as a weapon.
  • Pressure the powers at large to Pardon Elor Azarya condemned before a fair trial, hearing, publicly and  prosecuted by the IDF military court publicly probably to gain political points, for having eliminated a terrorist. This public theater served to demoralize and weaken the IDF.
  • Implement the Death sentence for terrorists who have Jewish blood on their hands
  • Stop PA stipends to Terrorists and their families
  • Monitor and stop the hate education and brainwashing, incitement of  terror of Palestinian children in all schools including schools funded by USA like UNRWA
  • Immediately have the IDF remove billboards etc that incite terror and if the IDF turns a blind eye,  don't be surprised or upset when Residents of Judea and Samaria take the matter into their own hands to bring down those billboards.
  • Make sure IDF comes quickly when children go on a Tiyul and are threatened, It should not take over an hour.
  • Don't accuse the Settlers of taking their security into their own hands and force them to rely on the IDF when the hands of soldiers have been tied to do the job effectively
  • Normalize Jewish Settlement in Judea and Samaria not only Havat Gilad!
  • Do not demolish the homes in Netiv HaAvot as were homes in Neve Erez, Amona and elsewhere!!!! Heartless and senseless!
Lieberman, Security Failures in Judea and Samaria, reflective of Failed Leadership?

The Three Mitzvot that are called Signs אותות: Ot Brit אות ברית (a Sign of a Covenant), Shabbat שבת, and Tefillin תפילין Brings Divine Protection. Mitzvot called Ot אות were given to Children of Israel before Matan Torah.

Rabbi Dr. Zevulun Lieberman - End Annapolis process!

Rabbi Dr. and Mrs. Sidney Z. Lieberman lost their only son, Hillel Eliyahu Lieberman HY'D, who had fulfilled the "mitzvah" (religious obligation) of making "aliyah".  He was killed by an Arab terrorist.

Rabbi and Mrs Lieberman write this urgent plea to end the Annapolis process.

B/H

We, the corporate body of the Jewish nation, have been privileged with the divine heritage of the Land of Israel, promised in an eternal covenant to our forefather Abraham on Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal, overlooking Elon Moreh in Samaria. As the beneficiaries of this priceless treasure, we cannot consider our Holy Land as a commodity on the international exchange. The Almighty's gift may not be surrendered for a bowl of porridge – a paltry sum of "payment," resulting from a misguided vision of wished-for tranquility. We, the children of Israel, are the guardians of our Holy Land for all the generations to come until the Final Redemption. This, then, is our sacred mission, never to be forsaken. We must concentrate our efforts and gather our strength in unity, to fulfill the objective of being a light unto the nations.

In the State of Israel, we have created benefits for all humankind through the study and teaching of Torah, which is G-d's divine message for ethical advancement of all societies. Moreover, we have shared with all nations Israel's breakthroughs in state-of-the-art medical care, pharmaceutical research, solar energy development, hydroponic farming and social justice.

Our only son, Hillel Eliyahu Lieberman HY'D, fulfilled the "mitzvah" (religious obligation) of making "aliyah," thereby trailblazing in the true pioneering spirit, the settlement of the Holy Land of Israel, just as our American forefathers had created the first colonies of this young nation in the Western hemisphere by building settlements (towns and villages). Unfortunately, as a result of the mirage of the Oslo Agreement's promises of peace that could not become a reality, a violent "intifada" left him a victim of cruel, deceitful Arab terrorism as he walked, wrapped in a prayer shawl on the Sabbath between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur in the Year 2000, to his institution of higher Torah learning, Yeshivat Od Yosef Chai, located in the Tomb of Joseph in Shechem (a.k.a. Nablus), Samaria. Once again, the conferences subsequently held on the Wye Plantation and more recently in Annapolis have pressured Israel with a false promise of "peace" to result from surrounding, hostile neighbors' recognition of Israel, to surrender slices of its tiny, vulnerable land, viewable from north to south and east to west in a matter of minutes by aerial flight.

Our seven orphaned grandchildren, who commute to high school and college via Samarian highways, do not enjoy the sweet taste of the oft-promised peace. They have been detained on their daily travel by explosives planted by terrorists alongside the road, by burning tires that turn bus drivers and passengers into "sitting ducks," by suspicious packages blocking progress until a robot pulverizes the source of danger, and by sirens alerting Elon Moreh residents of a terrorist climbing up the Mountain of Har Kabir with a bomb wrapped inside the carcass of a sheep.

Surely, we Americans of all faiths care about the safety and security of "our children," locally and globally. Therefore, we are totally committed to fighting terrorism – in this post-9/11 era – with strength, not surrender; with backbone, not bending; with vigor, not veering off the vector of our goal of true peace; instead of with "piece" offerings to those who aim to murder freedom lovers throughout the world.

The Government of Israel must resist any American governmental pressure, because such interference will negate our mutual relationship of respect and honor, and our mutual plan for global peace and prosperity, for free trade zones and for a flourishing economy. Inadvertently encouraging violence violates our shared purpose for the era of peace when "nation shall not lift up sword against nation, and they shall not learn warfare anymore" (Isaiah).

3rd Day of Kislev, the month of the spirit of the Maccabbees, November 13, 2007

Dear Friends,

As  the Annapolis nightmare is coming nearer, more and more people are waking up, understanding that we must act immediately to prevent a catastrophe from occurring.

Women in Green calls upon all to join in the following activities:

Dear friends of Israel, in order to prevent the Annapolis disaster, we must bring the government down. As long as Lieberman and Yishai remain in the government, the Olmert government survives. If Avigdor Lieberman leaves the government, Eli Yishai and Shas will also leave the government!

Anyone who holds dear the future of the State of Israel is asked to inundate the offices of Avigdor Lieberman and the other members of Yisrael Beitenu with faxes and telephone calls, with the demand:

Leave the government today and save the Land of Israel and the People of Israel !

Presented as a public service by Women for Israel's Tomorrow - Women in Green www.womeningreen.org

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In order for this campaign to have an effect, we need to publicize it far and wide.

For instance, we need to put this as an ad in this week's Russian newspaper called VESTY. We also need to paste the posters all over Jerusalem and other areas in the country. We therefore turn to you and urge you to help us financially with this campaign. Very often people call us and tell us: well, why isn't there a campaign going on, why is it so quiet?

Many people don't realize that such campaigns cost a great deal of money.

Here are a few details with regard to the expenses of such a campaign:

* a half page ad in the news section of Vesty for this weekend: 12,200 NIS +vat (i.e. approximately $3,500)
* the caricaturist: 900 NIS + vat ($220)
* graphic artist : 2500 NIS + vat ($750)
* 1000 posters (size 50x70cm) :2100 NIS + vat ($700)
* 10,000 flyers in Hebrew and Russian : 2500 NIS + vat ($750)
* and last but not least: ads in other newspapers (Hebrew and English) that ad up to at least $8,000

In one word, if we want to turn this into a effective campaign, we must raise at least $15,000.

We need you desperately! We cannot do this without your help!
