Re: Amona

What lessons were learnt from the expulsion of 10,000 of our brothers and sisters from their homes in Gush Katif in 2005?

*Divorces? *suicides? * drugs? * youth disillusionment? *lowering army morale? * emboldening our enemy?

Save Amona.......Jews do not expel Jews

What occurs in Amona could happen anywhere in Israel:  NIF clients have hired lawyers to locate Arabs with property claims on both sides of the green line.

Elisha ben Odess Please Davan and Demand RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUSTICE!

bs"d

Seeking Confession at All Costs, Israeli Court, AG, Endorsed Torture of Jewish-American Minor by David Israel
http://www.jewishpress.com/news/police-news/seeking-confession-at-all-costs-israeli-court-ag-endorsed-torture-of-jewish-american-minor/2018/02/08/

Elisha ben Odess, a settler kid who was put under administrative detention by Shabak with the complicit collusion with the Defense Minister and Bagatz, was tortured and was forced to confess to a murder he never committed. His trial is scheduled for this Monday, February 12, 2018.  (secular calendar)

Please daven for him
Elisha Chaim ben Naama Leah
אלישׁע חיים בּן נעמה לאה

This coming Monday,  the court in Israel will hold a hearing which will affect Elisha's fate. The judges will hear the evidence of the prosecution and the defense. After that, within a short time period, they will decide if Elisha is innocent or guilty.  His life hangs in the balance.

Fwd: Day of Tefilla for Elisha Odess: Teen Tortured by Shabak for false Duma confession https://shemittahrediscovered.blogspot.com/2018/02/fwd-day-of-tefilla-for-elisha-odess.html

Will we allow this blood libel to actualize:?????

Now is a good time to push for some justice for Elisha Odess and all the hilltop Youth under administrative detention who have been denied basic human and civil rights.

In USA the DOJ Dept of Justice and the FBI are seriously under investigation for criminal abuse of power. (Russian Collusion, Dossier funded by Clinton Campaign etc.)  The time has come for Israel as well.  Ayelet Shaked is doing just that and the Shabak needs to be investigated together with BaGatz and the Ministry of Defense as per their bias against the Jews living in Judea and Samaria.  When this bias happened under the reign of Obama and perhaps the politicians in Israel were being pushed to the wall, it might be understandable but still no excuse.  But now under Trump?

It is my conjecture that had the Jews of Judea and Samaria and their leadership supported the kids who were falsely accused at DUMA we would now have in place a stronger and better leadership in Israel that would have added security to Yitzhar and Havat Gilad...perhaps this tragedy of Raziel Shevach hy"d  and Itamar ben Gal hy"d, and   future tragedies chas veshalom could have been prevented....

So long as these youngsters are still not receiving justice it is a stain on the entire Israel and a stain against the Leadership and Settlers of Judea and Samaria who allowed these kids to be scapegoated and branded as Jewish terrorists.

It is not only about Judea and Samaria.  Lieberman and Eisenkott are clearly not the best Leadership for our Chayalim so long as they are dictated by politics rather than military considerations, so long as they disregard Torah and Mitzvoth and lack Yirat Shamayim, and so long as IDF soldiers do not trust that the military has their back.

Above all, we need  G-d Fearing Leadership, and a Nation who is worthy of G-d's protection!

Leadership can come from many fronts.

Politics is messy but it says Lev Melachim Beyad Hashem. The hearts of  Kings is in the Hand of G-d.

I do not envy Political Leaders of Israel.  I am not judging them. I am not in their place nor do I want to be nor do I face their challenges and tests and hard choices that drive their decisions.

There is however something to say for those of us who are not Nogea baDavar who can see things with greater clarity than someone who is driven by politics.

The purpose is not to bash Netanyahu, Bennett,  Lieberman and Eisenkott. The purpose is to do Teshuva, admit when we did wrong and correct our mistakes and resolve not to continue in this path in the future. Sometimes we need to push our leaders in a good direction to counter all the forces that are pushing them in a bad direction.

When we the people, Am Yisroel, All Jews United, are worthy, than surely the Leadership will also reflect the will of the people.  Let us therefore not let up with a campaign to bring true justice to these hilltop youth and in return may Hashem protect all of the Land of Israel with Security and Prosperity!

Open Letter to all of us in light of the recent tragedies:

We need to sound the trumpets!

Lieberman I believe was complicit with allowing Shabak to torture the hilltop youth re: Duma. We knew it then. Yet even Rabbanim and Leadership in Yesha allowed these youth to be blood libeled and branded as Jewish Terrorist so that the Media could then portray a balanced pic of Palestinian terrorists vs Jewish terrorists.

Naftali Bennett as well, who is a star when he eulogizes victims of Arab Terror in Judea and Samaria, condemned, betrayed and  portrayed hilltop youth as Jewish terrorists in a NY Times OP ED in 2015.

Recently by Raziel Shevach's funeral, following shouts for revenge, he made a comment that we should leave the security in the hands of the IDF.  My comment: That's great if the IDF is doing their job effectively. But what should one do when Security is lacking and the lives of the families living in places like Havat Gilad are at risk?

Please take a moment in history to review false media reports of Hilltop Youth of Judea and Samaria being portrayed as Jewish terrorists....

Duma Blood Libel - calling Hilltop Youth Jewish Terrorists.  Jan 12, 2015 New York Times Print Edition, Front Page blurb to article on page A9, Front cover Forward January 15, 2016

This libel did not come in a vacuum. Naftali Bennett has convicted them already in August 7, 2015 in a New York Times Op Ed. without even knowing their identity he called them terrorists, anarchists, a fifth column within Israel and like Hamas and Hezbollah they must face the full force of Israel's justice system and its defense establishment.  [If I was a lawyer of any of these Duma suspects, I would sue Bennett for defamation of character and mental anguish leading to near suicide,  false incarceration, torture and basically taking away months of my clients life away). Naftali Bennett, Prosecutor and Judge on Israel's Jewish Terrorists [Robin]
Naftali Bennett on Israel's Jewish Terrorists
AUG. 7, 2015 They killed the baby and his parents....
But they are also a tiny group. They do not represent the 400,000 residents of Jewish communities throughout the West Bank, the overwhelming majority of whom are law-abiding citizens and have condemned these acts of violence.
...The terrorists who killed Shira and Ali do not represent Israel or its people. They are a fringe group, made up of radical extremists who do not only seek to kill. Their ultimate goal is the destruction of the State of Israel. They act against and threaten the very premise of what the Zionist movement envisioned when returning to the Land of Israel after 2,000 years in exile — a Jewish and democratic state committed to equality and freedom for all its citizens. They are anarchists, a fifth column within Israel and like Hamas and Hezbollah, they must face the full force of Israel's justice system and its defense establishment.

At that point we should have raised the trumpets.  What was Bennett doing by giving credibility to the false narrative that there are Jewish terrorists?

Does it have to wait for more Karbanot like Raziel Shevach and Itamar ben Gal  hy"d for us to wake up from the brainwashing we assume was true?

The Security around Havat Gilad was terrible as Yossi Dagan brought up and we need to investigate why. Why didn't Liberman make sure that cameras were installed as per requested from the residents of Yizhar?  Perhaps, let me postulate, he justified this breach of security  because Yizhar settlers are budding terrorists and lawbreakers and are unworthy of IDF protection as are Settlers of Havat Gilad. If you paint them as terrorists and subhuman and law breakers why protect them? They deserve what's coming to them. So who then gets to be the Korban? Raziel Shevach...the law breaker from Havat Gilad.

If you think that the Jews of Yitzhar didn't feel the isolation from their brethren, think again. Watch this video. (H)

Why did we have to thank Lieberman for saying he would look into normalizing Havat Gilad, when we should have figured out he was throwing a starving dog a bone, a few crumbs. Why didn't Yael Shevach remember or be reminded that he used almost the same lashon before they went ahead and demolished the 9 homes in Amona.

I get it.  It is a way to give him a way to save face and give him some good PR and take off some of the pointing fingers at him and pray that he will in fact send us some relief in return for not bashing him.

It worked temporarily but I don't believe he would have followed through without being pressured.

Soon it became clear that  he and Netanyahu had no alternative due to built up anger and frustration at the delay, when it became apparent that perhaps they were not going to follow through.

This initial bone, announcing he would look into legalizing Havat Gilad, served to distract and take the offense off of LIeberman's own failures as Defense Minister,  and it worked.

But the gov't was forced to follow through to normalize Havat Gilad at least for now....

It is premature to let out a sigh of relief and we can not let go of the reigns.

Let us not forget the past as it has continued ramifications especially as we are facing real threats from Hezbollah in the North and Hamas in the South.

Strikes against the Israeli Defense Leadership:

Time for leaders living in Judea and Samaria to right a wrong for allowing a kid like Odess to be blood libeled and branded not to mention tortured.

Time to judge the likes of the Shabak, the Israel Supreme Court and Lieberman and Eisenkott for allowing  and being complicit in torture and a blood libel and Motzei Shem Ra and Lashon Hara.

Shochad MeAver Pikchim. Time to investigate if and any benefit the powers at large receive so that the hostile media gets to report about their young teen Jewish terrorists that they claim exist, detained and convicted without proof nor fair trial, no habeus corpus.... all with a Kosher Hechsher by MK's and Rabbanim.

My guess is that bread crumbs are being thrown all too often using divide and conquer technique so that "Territory folks don't stick together..."

This news will hopefully help Elisha Odess, the 19 year old Jewish teen from the Shomron who was arrested two years ago and brutally tortured by the Shin Bet until he "confessed" that he was involved in the arson of an Arab house  in the Arab village of Duma. There is no other evidence linking him to this event except for his forced confession which he gave after a week of unbearable torture. He has been held in jail without evidence under the purview of "Administrative Detention" which allows the Israeli government to hold a person prisoner indefinitely and with no legal recourse. May we finally see the end of this barbarism in the only democracy in the Middle East.

ISRAEL OPENS BRUTALITY INVESTIGATION AGAINST SHIN BET: Jerusalem -
 Israel's Justice Ministry has launched an unprecedented criminal investigation against an interrogator from the Israel Security Agency over brutality allegations.
It marks the first time that an investigation has been opened since the Justice Ministry established a unit called Mivtan about 18 years ago to investigate complaints against the ISA, also known as the Shin Bet.
The complaint was filed against the ISA operative over an interrogation from 2015.
More than 1,100 complaints have been filed alleging misconduct and brutality by Shin Bet interrogators over the last 17 years, according to the Public Committee Against Torture in Israel, which called the statistic "highly unflattering." The committee did not file the complaint against the operative under the criminal probe, according to Haaretz.
Both Mivtan and the Police Internal Investigations Department, or Mahash, must approve the launch of a criminal investigation against a Shin Bet agent. Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit was involved in the decision to investigate this interrogator, Haaretz reported, citing two unnamed sources.
"We hope that this precedent will usher change in the Shin Bet's interrogations procedures, in line with their legal and moral obligations," the committee said in a statement. "Personal accountability will encourage interrogators to adhere to legal practices, keeping in mind that even detainees, be them Jews or Palestinians, maintain their rights and dignity.

"By launching this unprecedented investigation, the Ministry of Justice sends a clear message that the Israeli Security Agency is not above the law and that interrogators crossing red lines will have to answer for their actions. The State of Israel acknowledges that torture is a prohibited and immoral practice, and that no justification can be made for the use of cruel or degrading treatment in breach of international treaties."
The Justice Ministry told Haaretz that 50 examinations of complaints were started in the last year.
"The process of examining the complaints has frequently led to different system-wide lessons being applied, or to disciplinary action being taken against investigators," the ministry said.

Why are the Fires raging in Israel. Why can't Hashem just bring the rains? Let us look into the Parsha for some answers.

bsd

True there are terror arsonists in play but the weather conditions and winds aren't helping matters.  Why is Hashem allowing these terrorist arsonists to wreak havoc and displace tens of thousands of people almost as if He is being a partner in crime?

Maybe our silence and callousness regarding Amona and parts of Ofra is taking it's toll. Maybe Hashem is trying to wake us up and remind what it feels like to be displaced.

It seems to me very clear from Parshat Lech Lecha and Parshat Chayei Sarah, the Torah portions of the weeks why these fires have been raging. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Covenant_of_the_pieces The Knesset and the Rabbi's have failed to publicize the Truth of the Torah in their failure to push through the regulation bill and in their failure to denounce the 2 State Solution which nullifies what the Torah says. .

Fires Divine Retribution for Attempts to Destroy Settlements, Claims Rabbi
The devastating fires which swept through Israel in the past days are God's punishment upon the Israeli government for planning to dismantle several Jewish communities in the West Bank, said a settler leader and rabbi on Thursday.
Read more at http://www.breakingisraelnews.com/79213/fires-divine-retribution-attempts-destroy-settlements-claims-rabbi/#PZ8Lr5UAWmz10OhE.99

Cries for help have been ignored and seemed to fall on deaf ears and many Rabbanim and those in Leadership roles know how hard we have tried to convince them to get involved to stop the destruction of the homes of our Jewish Brethren. 40 families in Amona with 200 kids etc. .

In Parshat Chayei Sara it is clear that Avraham Avinu will purchase the land from Efron but even if they won't sell him the land he will take it by right.  גֵּר וְתוֹשָׁב אָנֹכִי עִמָּכֶם תְּנוּ לִי אֲחֻזַּת קֶבֶר עִמָּכֶם וְאֶקְבְּרָה מֵתִי מִלְּפָנָי:
If you don't allow me to purchase it then Avraham is hinting he will take it by right.

MK Lieberman is getting the hint following his statement that some of the settlements can be destroyed.  Now perhaps he has a better idea of what is feels like.
Liberman: Our answer must be to expand the settlements

Elections 2013 Mattot Arim Party Winner is Otzma (National Union), UTJ the worst. Excellent You tubes and audios of candidates..

  • Who's the most right-wing? New study ranks MKs' actions by Gil Hoffman 21/01/2013  http://www.jpost.com/LandedPages/PrintArticle.aspx?id=151413 Among the parties on the Right, the one that best represented its agenda according to the study was the National Union and the worst was United Torah Judaism.

    PARTY AVERAGE ACHIEVEMENT LEVEL

    Am Shalem 73

    Jewish Home – Naftali Bennet 91

    Likud Beytenu 74

    Otzma (Prof. Eldad, Dr. Ben-Ari) 97

    Shas 66

    United Torah Judaism 57

    The above achievement levels were determined by (a) recording each MK's achievements (other than those which are not running) over the entire term and then (b) computing an average, for each of the parties!

    We need to look around us because we can affect election results!!

    In these critical days before D-Day (Election Day, Tuesday, 22 January) we need to actively look for voters who can vote for Likud, Bennet's Jewish Home party, or Prof. Eldad's Otzma party. The following sectors are particularly likely to be deliberating OR not voting at all – you can find them and persuade them if you look around you each day:

    Senior citizens * Olim * People who once told you they did not vote in the past * First time voters (students, soldiers etc.) * People with health problems or financial problems * People who are not interested in politics and newspapers.

    ALL THESE PEOPLE need you to seek them out! The pro-Israel parties will NOT succeed in finding them unless YOU help. What about your macolet owner, taxi driver, grandchildren, elderly parents, neighbors, store-owners – ask them who they are voting for and politely request it be one of the following: Likud, Bennet's Jewish Home party, or Prof. Eldad's Otzma party! Ask everyone!

He has accomplished much more out of politics than almost all Knesset Members who are politicians first.  His purpose to enter politics is to accomplish more.  Politics is a means to an end and not a means unto itself.  Yishai Fleisher interviews him in a half hour segment.  Very worthwhile audio segment. (if you like it then sign on to AFSI Chizuk Mission and he is usually one of the tour guides.  He doesn't only talk the talk, he walks the walk!)

Jeremy is a real sweet guy but IMHO showed weakness when he responded to attacks regarding his statement of  "let's imagine the Golden Dome Mosque was blown up and there was a Beit Hamikdash..."

  • We all see clearly that in order to build a Beit Hamikdash  as in the case of any new construction, there has to first be demolition.  Perhaps the time is not ripe and we can't push it. No point in inciting the Arabs... But the truth is that all Jews pray for the rebuilding of the Temple and that includes all Chareidim including members of Shas and UTJ.  How and when that will happen is a question mark.   Arabs know better than us that this is our dream to rebuild Temple Mount and restore the Beit Hamikdash to its glory.  Understandably this is a threat.  Therefore, they will come out in full force against our rights to Har Habayit, Maarat HaMachpela and Kever Yosef despite the fact that these are precisely the three places purchased by our ancestors Dovid Hamelech, Avrohom Avinu and Yaakov Avinu. The Nations of the World will be part of this Messianic times bringing sacrifices to our Holy Temple as is written in the prophets and on Isaiah Wall.   Chaim Richman makes that clear. http://blogs.timesofisrael.com/jeremys-joke/ We need not be apologetic.

  • Naftali Bennett at his best
 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nOrYOLggOM  Barry Chamish fears for Bennett for being outspoken and for posing a real threat and therefore a possible target of leftists. My blessing to Bennett is that Hashem should guard him and protect him. Utzu Eitzh VeSufar Dabru Davar Velo Yakum, Ki Imanu Kel.  Hashem Oz LeAmo Yiten. Yevarechicah Hashem Veyishmerecha....Concerns such as these can indeed be a deterrent in expressing things the way one would like to express them....

Myth 1The voters will not be voting for the Likud-Lieberman ticket because of LIEBERMAN!!!
Non Myth 1 The voters will not be voting for the Likud-Lieberman ticket because Likud under Netanyahu supports a 2 State Solution
Myth #2) Moshe Feiglin does not like Naftali Bennett and has been attacking him in the media – Not true!
Non Myth 2.  Feiglin feels threatened by Naftali Bennett because Naftali Bennett has proven that one can be successful outside of Likud with a similar ideology as Feiglin.
Myth #3) Moshe Feiglin does not want Naftali Bennett in a Likud coalition – Not true!
Non Myth 3.  Feiglin does not want to be in a coalition with Naftali Bennett or Otzma unless they are under a Likud coalition.
Myth #4) Bayit HaYehudi will become a force in Israeli politics for years to come – This is an opinion, so saying "True" or "False" will be silly but allow me to explain why I believe it is false.
Non Myth#4. To call Bayit HaYehudi a "sectorial party" is to label Torah as "sectarian". If Bayit HaYehudi stays true to Torah, not merely chitzoniut lip service to Torah, it will become a force in Israeli politics for years to come.
Myth #5) Moshe Feiglin is definitely going to be an MK so his supporters should vote for Bayit HaYehudi in order to give them more seats – Not true!
Non Myth #5) Netanyahu has played shenanigans so nothing is certain.  Maybe he will create a left wing coalition as Feiglin suggests.  If so, shouldn't Feiglin and the right wing MK's in Likud get out of Likud? If Bayit HaYehudi continues growing in strength it will be that much harder for Netanyahu to join with the left.
Myth #6) The Likud is not just another party. The Likud is an arena – the arena of national leadership
Non Myth #6 ) The Likud is just another party. No one has a monopoly on leadership except G-d.

A Second Gush Katif? article by Dovid Hoffman of Yated, Bibi Willing to Cede Judea and Samaria? Arutz7 Action alelrts

bs"d

Thank you to all the Media that have been reporting re: the looming cloud over the settlements slated for destruction  similar to Gush Katif and Amona chas Veshalom.  You can truly say that you are working to prevent their future pain.  May Hashem reward you with Bracha and Hatzlacha and Parnossa because you care about the livelihood and properties of our fellow Jews in Judea and samaria, you are standing up for the Torah and ultimately will bring strength to fight Radical Islam in america as well.

recent articles that I have personally seen describing what happened in Gush Katif and the current battles to prevent destruction of additional homes and communities in Judea and Samaria  have appeared in Jewish Voice, 5 Towns Jewish Times, Yated (see  article link below),  and Jewish Press. and of Course Arutz 7 the preferred paper in Israel for Judea and Samaria.

A Second Gush Katif by Dovid Hoffman of Yated.com

WHAT WE CAN DO IN CHUTZ Le Aretz
  • encourage friends in Israel to VOTE Likud Primary (only if you are a Likud Member) for FEIGLIN, not Netanyahu - Tue.
    • Mattot Arim Good list for Likud MK's based on past voting records. see below after Arlene Kushners article

  • Lobby the MK's ,  we can do this in the Diaspora as well regarding Outpost Legalization bill,   taking place on Wednesday.  The above links from Yated and A7 will encourage you to act.  See below for instructions from Arlene Kushner
.
Arlene Kushner writes:
You've heard about this legislation from me previously:  Proposed by MK Zevulun Orlev (Habayit Hayehudi), it would forbid the dismantling of communities of more than 20 families in Judea and Samaria without properly filed documentation that the land was Arab-owned.  This would negate the vague, unsubstantiated claims of land being "Arab" that are currently filed in court by Peace Now.

What is more, this legislation stipulates that if the documentation of Arab ownership is filed after a specified period of time (four years, as I understand it), the community still wouldn't be taken down and instead the Arab land owner would be provided with monetary compensation.

~~~~~~~~~~
Prime Minister Netanyahu -- at the behest of Minister Benny Begin, who is attempting to negotiate a "deal" with the residents of Migron and wants them to feel squeezed -- has secured a negative vote on this legislation in the Ministerial Committee for Legislation. Nothing prevents the promoters of a piece of legislation from bringing it to the Knesset without the approval of the  committee -- it is simply that without this endorsement it is less likely to pass in the Knesset.
An appeal has been filed -- requesting a re-vote in the committee -- by Minister of Diaspora Affairs Yuli Edelstein (Likud) and Minister of Science Daniel Hershkowitz (Habayit Hayehudi) -- but there has been no response to this.  There is reason to believe the original vote would overturned if there were a second vote.
~~~~~~~~~~

Now MK Oren has decided to bring this proposed law before the Knesset -- possibly by Wednesday.

And  here's where you have to pay attention to understand the situation and its serious implications:

Coalition discipline will not be invoked, so that members of the Knesset will be free to follow their conscience on this important matter rather than having to vote a party line.

HOWEVER, since the Ministerial Committee voted against the legislation, ministers are expected to also vote against it in the Knesset.  They can, if they choose, vote for the legislation, but then, according to the rules, Netanyahu can fire them.  He is not obligated to fire them, he is simply at liberty to do so.

Needless to say, Netanyahu is applying pressure, and making noises about firing those who do not toe the line.

~~~~~~~~~~
This has an unpleasant echo of Gush Katif, when then PM Sharon applied every sort of strong-arm technique possible to keep his ministers in line so they'd vote as he wished.  We cannot let this happen again.  Sharon betrayed his mandate when he behaved this way, and Netanyahu is now playing matters in a similar fashion.  I've cut him slack with regard to many issues.  But I cut him none here.
~~~~~~~~~~

In my last posting, I asked you to write to the Likud ministers in support of Migron.  Now I ask you to write again, to these ministers and those of Shas and Yisrael Beitenu as well:

Say that you understand that legislation that would save Migron and other communities in Judea and Samaria is about to come before the Knesset.  It would release Israel from the strangle-hold of Peace Now and prevent Jewish communities from being destroyed.

Remind them that the mandate given to the coalition by the voters was nationalist and that they would be betraying this mandate if they voted against this legislation.

Tell them that, even more importantly, if they vote against it they would be taking a position that is not in the best interests of the State of Israel.

Let them know that you see it as imperative that they vote their conscience on this matter.  It is not acceptable for them to place job security ahead of what is best for Israel.  In any event there is no guarantee that the prime minister will fire any ministers, and less likely if many ministers stand together to do what is right.

Voters and those who support the parties are very tired of political game playing.  The ministers must know that they are being watched and that support in the future will depend on their readiness to do the right thing now.

 Do NOT send a group message; the message to each minister should be separate.  But there is no reason to be intimidated by the fact that there are several names on the list that follows.

There is a way to make it easy for yourself:  Compose a message that says "Dear Minister," followed by text of that message.  Copy that message and salutation.  Then, in turn, click on each minister's e-mail address, paste in the greeting and message, and hit send.

If Gush Katif infuriated you or pained you, if you want to be part of a democratic process that protects Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, if the idea of their having to turn over their land to Arabs distresses you,  please! take the time to do this.

Numbers count a great deal.  Send this to others who are likely to also respond.

Thank you.  More will follow tomorrow.

In closing, a note of clarification, very broadly, for those who are outside of Israel and perhaps confused by our system:  Parties receive mandates (seats) in the Knesset according to the percentage of votes they secured in the previous election. If one party does not have sufficient seats (i.e., more than 60) to constitute a majority of the Knesset, then a coalition is formed; this always happens.  Once the coalition is in place, there are ministerial positions allocated to the various parties in the coalition.  With very rare exceptions, the ministers are chosen from the ranks of those within the parties who have been elected to the Knesset.  Those who are ministers sit in the Cabinet and constitute the government, but they are still members of the Knesset.

From MattotArim: Important info if you can vote for Likud primary:

Hope you got our previous email on Likud voting tomorrow,  here it is for you to re-read:
http://mattotarim1.blogspot.com/2012/01/tuesdayimportant-likud-elections.html

Updates: Apart from the important Feiglin-Netanyahu contest, we now -- with everybody's help -- have assembled the names of many more "good guys" -- candidates who are FOR Yehuda and Shomron and against Palestinian state!  These "good guy" candidates are listed in these 4 links:

New "good guys:   http://mattotarim1.blogspot.com/2012/01/blog-post_644.html

Good guys dating back to Gush Katif   struggle http://mattotarim1.blogspot.com/2012/01/blog-post_30.html

Special "good guys" list for Haifa  http://mattotarim1.blogspot.com/2012/01/blog-post_9989.html

Last minute list of "good guys" whom we just heard about  http://mattotarim1.blogspot.com/2012/01/blog-post_984.html

To vote beneficially, simply click on and go through the above 4 lists, and look for candidates in YOUR city or branch. Lists are alphabetical - Ashdod comes first (aleph), Tel-Aviv (taf) comes last.  Copy down all the good guys in YOUR city/community, from all 4 lists. There is some duplication between the lists -- sorry about that.

Put that "good guys" list in your pocket or purse, since it is no-one's business but your own, and when you get into the voting booth, quietly take out your "good guys" list, and mark whatever "good guys" you find, on EACH of the 2 voting slips that you get. One of those slips will be for the all-important  "central committee members" and one is for "moetzet ha-snif". There will be many names on each of the 2 voting slips -- you mark only the "good guys" among them!

PS. These "good guy" elections are not being held everywhere (for example -- NO "good guy" elections in Rehovot and in most places in Yehuda & Shomron), but in many other places, such as Jerusalem, Netanya, Petah Tikva, Raanana and Tel-Aviv: http://mattotarim1.blogspot.com/2012/01/blog-post_27.html  there WILL be such elections.

If you live in Yehuda and Shomron, simply mark the candidates you know personally. We have not listed any particular "good guy" residents of Yehuda and Shomron because we figure ALL of them are "good guys"!

List of voting locations  in each city/community (a little messy -- but that is what we could get):  http://mattotarim1.blogspot.com/2012/01/blog-post_2940.html

Can you please pass this email on to other Likud voters who may not know what to do?

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO VOTE TOMORROW -- RAIN OR SHINE! YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU! Thank you!
