Dedicated and Passionate Community Member of the Shomron for 30 years. Gila is the Director of Public Relations for the Nachala Movement, which has its founding roots in the Gush Emunim movement. She is an advocate and spokesperson for FREE AMIRAM a grassroots organization to bring Righteousness, Justice, and Fairness to Amiram ben Uliel who sits in prison since 2016. He serves under the severest conditions of solitary confinement with very minimal visitation rights, physical or otherwise, for the murder of the Dawabshe family in Duma in July 2015. The only evidence found for this conviction was Amiram’s own confession following torture which also conflicted with other evidence on the scene. She is dedicated to finding a way to secure the release of Amiram.

Having lived in Israel for over 30 years, after making Aliya from Australia Gila has worked in various areas. At one stage she worked in a prestigious University in the fundraising arena as well as planning and running academic programs. From there she moved into the world of Avnei HaHoshen and Crystals and invested time in one of her greatest passions of working with and healing people. She feels that it is an incredible Zechut to work with Avnei HaHoshen, one of the holy creations of Hashem. 

In the background, and often the foreground, of Gila’s professional life other projects have received great focus. Primarily that of Eretz Yisrael which is not only expressed through where Gila lives, in the Shomron, but also in her extensive voluntary work for the Nachala Movement which aims is to bring the government back to the policy of establishing and developing new Yishuvim in Yehuda and Shomron.  

At the moment Gila is also investing a great deal of her time in the important mitzvah of Pidyon Shvuyim, Redeeming prisoners. She is dedicated to finding a way to secure the release of Amiram Ben Uliel.

As Pesach draws near we are happy to share various updates with you. Nachala has taken an important decision to run a Boutique Mission from May 2-5. During the Mission we will see the developments that have taken place in Yehuda and Shomron as well as the history and strategic significance of the different parts of this important area which is in the heartland of Israel. Previous Mission to Yehuda & Shomron:     To register, click here   We are on the Road: - The Public Struggle to Repopulate Evyatar has Begun   Over Pesach the families of Evyatar have decided to hold their Seder at the entrance to the Yishuv.  The conditions will be basic but their spirits will be high. As they celebrate the exodus of our People from Egypt on their way to the Land of Israel, they too will be celebrating with a view to accomplishing the goal of populating a new Yishuv in Eretz Yisrael. In support of the families, and with the demand to the government to authorize Evyatar, on Chol Hamoed Pesach we will be holding a Mega March to Evyatar. The Israeli government needs our support and to see our determination and great spirit. The Disengagement Law in the Northern Shomron has been annulled. This can be attributed to the incredible determination of the Yeshivah in Homesh which, despite the harshest of conditions, remained in place. Today students can continue to learn there with their heads held high in the knowledge that their staying power resulted in the first step towards re-establishing the four Yishuvim in the Northern Shomron.     In addition, the government has given defacto authorization to 9 Yishuvim in Yehuda and Shomron. This is another step towards establishing new Yishuvim. The Nachala Movement has 22 garinim which are ready to establish new Yishuvim the moment the government allows this step.   Just as the Jewish nation knew that it would enter Eretz Yisrael, even though there were delays, we too know that there have been delays but our new Yishuvim and the development of Yehuda and Shomron is in sight. What game is Netanyahu playing?

It seems to me that whoever applies stronger pressure on Netanyahu gets him to say what they want to hear.

Does Netanyahu have a backbone to stick to his guns?

Unfortunately, he buckles under pressure and does not keep his promises to either side.

Can he be trusted? Apparently by neither side or alternatively each side believes what they want to believe, independent of what Netanyahu actually says or what the ruling, unofficial, unelected elite in power policy makers decide.

Netanyahu's actual statements are in fact conflicting, whose primary goal purpose is to placate each side thereby keeping him in power.

A true leader leads and is true to his convictions even if it risks losing his followers.

We believe Moshiach is here and will be an authentic Leader whose primary objective is to please the Almighty by doing the Almighty's Will irregardless of public opinion. May we all be Zocheh!

I blogged how when Iran was producing nuclear weapons Chuck Schumer was busy with Education.

Agudah and Ou didn't really put any passion to campaign against Iran deal.  Or let me rephrase. They came out for being on the record against the deal but not in Tachlis (i.e. Not to significantly derail the Iran Deal)

My guess is that they were afraid of endangering the educational funding that miraculously seem to come through in the early summer of 2015 to the point that when asked about the Iran deal and everyone was looking towards Schumer for leadership, Senator Schumer replied that he was too busy with Education issues and didn't get a chance to study it. 

Caroline Glick asked publicly what exactly about hundred and fifty billion dollars to Iran did Schumer need to study?

Will this be blood money to be silent when they pressure Israel for a Palestinian State or to denounce those defending their very lives and property in Yehuda and the Shomron?

Or blood money to push our community to take a dangerous vaccine with dangerous side effects like myocarditis and fertility issues.

The Democrats and their anti G-d policies have created serious security threats in this country and we turn to them for funding to help our security? 

Lets mobilize our community and encourage classes in Krav Maga and Self Defense.  Be prepared for a food shortage or contamination of the water supply chas Vesholom.

Hashem KaKol Yachol. Ein Od Milvado. Let us place our trust in Hashem alone and speak out for His laws and Hashem can, if we are deserving, or just as an act of Chesed, protect us and provide for all our needs.

There are many G-d fearing Jews and non Jews who admire MK Smotrich. They admire him for many reasons. He is a proud Jew.. A proud Jew wants to emulate G-d who loves Tzedek UMishpat, Chesed veEmes.. . translation... Righteousness and Justice, Kindness and Truth.

Stopping Arab Terrorists from murdering innocent civilians is Righteous and Just. Torturing innocent people, Jew or Arab alike, so they confess to a crime they never committed is not Righteous nor Just. Smotrich has defended Amiram ben Uliel. Why would Smotrich want to murder/punish innocent Arab civilians for crimes against humanity they never supported or committed? He doesn't. He is not a monster. The Torah forbids murder of an innocent person Jew or nonJew. Our enemies want to create a false narrative for a political agenda that Settlers and supporters of Settlers are Jewish Terrorists. This false narrative than serves to justify Arab Terror. JNS and "Jewish" orgs are spreading lies and slander by suggesting that Smotrich is a Jewish Terrorist. They think by distancing themselves from the Settler movement and by slandering their brothers and sisters living in Judea and Samaria the world will Love them. Actually Hitler Yemach Shemo didn't differentiate between Jews. Rather these Organizations should demand Truth and Justice for humanity and teach the 7 Noahide Laws, laws of Universal Morality. Condemning Smotrich is falling into our enemies trap to cause divisiveness rather than uniting on bringing G-dliness into this wirld making it a better and more peaceful world. True terrorists and those who educate their young from an early age to murder innocent civilians and reward and encourage acts of terror must be found and brought to justice. Yes roads need to be safe and why werent they? and the culture also needs to be wholesome. The 7 Noahide laws should be inculcated into the education of Jew and non Jew from early on. Finding an innocent scapegoat to put the blame and bear the punishment for a crime he or she never committed is something to protest and Smotrich is doing precisely that by defending Amiram ben Uliel who is sitting in isolation, for 3 life sentences for a crime he never committed. Why isn't JNS and these organizations focusing on extracting truth and Justice for Amiram Ben Uliel and finally find the culprit(s), also very likely Arab, involved in clan fighting who firebombed the Dewabshe home, murdering the parents and their son . Let us condemn the outrageous authorization to torture young Settlers, and or anyone for that matter, to extract confessions and convict with absolutely no other evidence other than confessions extracted under duress.
