This week Eli Military Academy's Rabbi Eli Sadan, a legendary figure, blasted the Netanyahu government for procrastinating on the anti-terrorism front. A series of 7 terror attacks "scored" 2 dead Israelis and 6 injured – 2 seriously.

Rabbi Sadan  pointed out, if Jewish 1000 homes are built in Yehuda or Shomron for every successful (sic) terrorist attack, you had better believe the Palestinian sponsors of terror are going to be deterred. Because the goal of terrorism  is to weaken Jewish presence – definitely not to strengthen it. This doctrine is known in Hebrew as the "proper Zionist response" doctrine.

 Rabbi Sadan's shocking message was extensively covered in Israel's press but only in Hebrew. He broke the news to all of us: NOTHING is happening. The dishes are still in the sink. The cabinet has not met yet. And no cabinet means no decisions.

Why should it be all on his shoulders?  He is sharing with us his burden. So I say to my fellow Jews in the Diaspora....We are all each others guarantors.  Kol Yisroel Areivim Zeh LeZeh.  As Moshe Rabeinu rebuked the Tribe of Reuvein and Gad ""Will your brothers go to war and conquer Israel while you remain here peacefully?" 

Goldstein makes it a point that Palestinian communities do not need such protections as they  have no need to worry that Jewish settlers will infiltrate their homes and murder them.  Let me add that unfortunately the SHABAK has taken the side of the enemy with the Duma blood libel and tried to frame hilltop youth following torture and forced confessions of hilltop youth for arson and murder of a Palestinian family  (and came out empty handed).  


Where is the IDF protecting this community? Why is Goldstein left on his lonesome to defend his community? 

Where is COGAT (Coordination of Government Activity in the Territories) ?   Doesn't Civil Administration mean making protection of the community a number one priority for Jewish Settlement in Judea and Samaria?  That is not their priority as is pretty obvious from their website!

This is all happening in the month of Av.  It is an auspicious time  for bad leadership!  But we the people, grass roots, we must not repeat the mistakes of the past!  

The IDF, the Shabak and now the Netanyahu government are all complicit with a terrible CHILLUL HASHEM!  But WE the people are NOT!

The People must not accept their Leadership so that we won't be complicit as were the Jews in the Desert! Put your protest on your facebook page, email your protest to the Knesset members,  email it to friends so that when you face your Creator after 120 years they will see that you did not sit silent to allow this Chillul Hashem to happen!

We must turn to Hashem and beg for alternative leadership. We must yell and scream as  Daniel Luria is doing, as Dr. Paul Brody is doing as I am doing and  share your outrage with all your lists and whatsapp groups and websites and blogs and demand that Jews start asserting their rights to Eretz Yisroel and asserting Jewish Sovereignty and control over Har HaBayit and Maarat Hamachpela in Hebron by asserting control and jurisdiction! 

We probably need to go one step further for Teshuva in our day than just stop the talking campaign to bring the Geula as per the well publicized video of HaRav Sorotzkin. We now have the opportunity to literally, Pshuto KeMashmaoh,  show that we yearn for Malchus Shamayim, the Kingdom of Heaven (not Islam), Malchut Beit David (not Netanyahu) and the Beit HaMikdash (not Al Aksa)  with our insistence that Israel assert control of security on Har HaBayit, Temple Mount.

Watch this interview on BBC where the BBC interviewer argues repeatedly in favor or removing the metal detectors with Naftali Bennett.  Here we see Chillul Hashem big time!

This newscaster tries to convince Netanyahu that Israel should remove the metal detectors, even though he admits he sees the rationale not to remove the metal detectors, based on the fact that the  IDF and SHABAK are in favor of removing the Metal Detectors on Har Habayit.   Naftali Bennett finds himself in the difficult position to somehow defend Israel's position not to remove the metal detectors even though the IDF and the SHABAK are in favor of removing the metal detectors. .

Ok Bennett, what is your next move?  The IDF and SHABAK seem to have won this round over the will of the Jewish People and the Police and over sanity.

Yes the IDF soldier showed restrained in neutralizing the terrorist in Chalamish who is now being nursed to health. I am glad that Lieberman is seeing the fruits of his labors as it will surely comes back to haunt him and Gadi Eisenkot as well when they see first hand the blood stained kitchen of the Solomon family . Maybe that is why Lieberman is now calling for the death penalty for the terrorist. However, If he is so weak regarding metal detectors what chance is there of following through. . Political fray dominates his military judgement. He bends with political pressure.   If we yell and scream about the metal detectors and demand his resignation we can probably get him to change his tune.   He will talk tough until the Arabs carry on and then he will retreat. 

Should he be our Defense Minister?. 

We know he can be real tough when it comes to the settlers.  But they won't threaten him with knives and machine guns and death threats!

A few simple questions for our friends and readers.

1/ Why did Mayor Barkat back down and agree to retroactively approve over 60 homes, that were illegally built in a national park-green zoned area - called Gan HaMelech, between the City of David and the old Yemenite Village of Shiloach?


2/ Why are Jews forbidden to pray at the Temple Mount and even arrested by Israeli authorities, if they pray or do anything of a "religious" nature on the Temple Mount?

3/ Why or how did the Wakf and the Moslem Arab world get away with dumping over 100 truckloads of artifacts and debris from Temple times, outside the Old City and how did they manage to illegally build another mosque in the catacombs under Har HaBayit and near the ElAksa mosque? How did they get away with fixing the bulge in the Southern Wall themselves, as opposed to Israeli authorities fixing the Jewish holy site and wall, before it was going to collapse?

4/ How do the Arabs get away with building illegally nearly everywhere and anywhere in the eastern neighbourhoods of Jerusalem?(And beyond in Judea and Samaria)

5/ Why are Jews who live in the old Jewish Quarter (Moslem Quarter) of the Old City, limited in their movements and told to stay i their homes, during certain times in Ramadan? Why are we even "forced" to place security cameras, security systems, security doors and rooftop playgrounds in our compounds in and around the Old City? Why?

(We can also add  - why is the Israeli Government "scared" and very hesitant to give building permits in Jerusalem or in Judea and Samaria (area "C"), while the Arabs build as they desire? And also - why do we simply return these filthy sick terrorists bodies to their families for burial?)

AND FINALLY

Why did or is the Israeli Government/Cabinet which is currently being run by Netanyahu's Likud, apparently back down, and will soon effectively remove the metal detectors that were placed at the gateway entrances to the Temple Mount after the recent killing of 2 Israeli policemen by a few Arab terrorists?(Just like the metal detectors checking those entering the Kotel area, the Cave of Patriarchs in Chevron, Bituach Leumi..etc)
WHY?
The answer : 
Because -  Arab incitement, terror and violence "works" !!!
(And also because the "heads" on our so-called leaders shoulders are still stuck in the shtetl..... and because some of our pathetic weak leaders are still scared of the "goyim" and what the "goyim" will say.(This can be the UN, USA, the Arab League or Jordan...etc) Maybe some even think, that we are simply a star on another country's flag, instead of proudly recognizing that we have our own star of David on our own blue and white flag.
International pressure coupled with Arab violence (And Jordanian subtle threats) has sadly "done it again" !! 


To my-our democratically elected Israeli Government:

I firstly hope, that i will wake up, and all the above, will be just a bad nightmare, and you will show strength, and leave the metal detectors in place.
BUT IF NOT THEN........

Shame on you for removing the metal detectors and showing such weakness.
(They - our enemies will only gain strength from this back-stepping move. Don't be surprised when you are "eaten for breakfast". This is the WILD middle EAST !!)

Shame on you for not internalizing that we - the Jewish people, are the indigenous people of this land, and that we are the true baal habayit of Israel, Yerushalayim and also of Har HaBayit !!!!

You the Israeli Government - NOTE: Jewish blood spilled in the past and Jewish blood that may unfortunately be spilled in the future, in and around the Old City - is partially on your heads, for giving 'them' the wrong message and giving them "wind in their sails" !!!

It's time for a new breed of leadership.
A Jewish leadership who truly understands who we are as G-d's chosen people - our heritage-history, our eternal rights to this land...a leadership that can translate the concept of being a "baal habayit" into reality on the ground...who internalize exactly who are our hate-filled and violent Arab-Moslem enemies (Thorns in our sides and who according to Torah should be driven out - see end chapters of the Book of Numbers-BaMidbar....in light of recent stabbings and horrific killings and subsequent support by other Arabs)....who aren't afraid of the goyim or world pressure or Arab pressure and violence.....who wont show weakness but will rather act with both strength and strength of conviction... who crush the head of the "Arab-Moslem fundamentalist" snake...AND who preempt and take the initiative and not just react like 'kneejerks'.

--- ENTER YOUR CONTENT HERE -Energy minister  Steinitz created  a head line  this week when he  was quoted as saying,"I eat hametz on Passover".
He had to keep a  low profile after that admission.

There  was  a time when this  was not a situation one had to wiggle out of  but a part pf the proud red flag held high  by those who ruled Israel for fifty years(before and after the establishment of the state).

The current controversy over the actions of sergeant Elor Azaria  is another sign that the times, they are  a changing.
As soon as he  finished off the wounded but potentially threatening  terrorist in Hebron, the  military and political establishment  proclaimed  that a very serious infraction was committed and will be investigated and prosecuted rigorously.
 The film taken by the EU funded. pro Palestinian NGO, Betzelem, catapulted the establishment and media into the usual knee jerk frenzy of breast pounding and  self flagellation.
What will the world  say? How  do  we look in the eyes of such a caring, concerned world...?

The Jewish public felt differently. Polls show that two thirds of them support  the soldier who  was immediately arrested and put into chains.
PM  Netanyahu, like many politicians know how to smell the political winds and in the  wake of the immediate public fury promptly made a call to the soldier's father explaining that he too is the father of a soldier and understands....

He and minister of education Bennet got into a sharp exchange over rumored plans to relinquish security control of parts of "area A" from where waves of terror had eminated before Israel  allowed herself a free hand there. Israel is toying with the idea of giving the PA another chance..to please the caring  world

Opposition MK Lieberman too  continues his attacks on the PM for his  less than resolute actions vis a  vis the Hamas tunnel threat from Gaza.

It was not only the Right that was heard this week. Opposition leader Herzog said that the Labor party is seen by too many Israelis as 'Arab lovers"(true) and that "we must set the record straight  that we are not for our enemies."

This  was very interesting. The Labor party of Ben Gurion, Golda Meir, and Rabin, never openly sought Arab support. It was not what they were about then . However as the Right came to power they sought a wider base and began a continual slide away from their classic Zionist  stand to a more "cosmopolitan", liberal" one. This did indeed attract Arab voters and MK's(one, MK Balul who said  that" the Arabs who attacked the soldiers in Hebron were not terrorists but were fighting an illegal occupation").

The Jewish population  has progressively given up on Labor. "Left" is becoming a  nasty word in Israel (thanks to the Oslo fantasy/addiction and  it's consequences.)
Poor Herzog. He is under attack from his party Left stalwarts and  still the Jewish majority just do not trust or like those "Arab lovers".

Polls taken this week indicate that two thirds of Israeli  support sergeant Elor Azaria and interestingly enough, another poll showed equal numbers of Jews who do not eat chametz on Pesach.
They are probably  one and the same. They are  the ones more likely to spend the holiday in Israel than abroad. The ones  seeking chametz abroad are mostly the 1.7 children and a dog population.

There is indeed a palpable shift in the demographics of Israel.
 Now all we need is a true leader to channel this awakening of common sense and self respect to a clear direction.

This will happen to God willing.

This just in... The following is Moshe Feiglin's response to MK Lieberman's appointment as Minister of Defense:

The best thing that has resulted from the political storm churning through Israel is the ouster of current Defense Minister Bogy Ya'alon. That was not Netanyahu's original intent. He wanted to bring the Left into the government, and it is a good thing that Labor MK Shelly Yehimovitz prevented that from happening. My assessment is that the new government will not be qualitatively different from its predecessor and except for a change of style, it will be more of the same. But all of that is behind us now. The most important thing is that Ya'alon was ousted. We can only hope that it is not too late.

Bogy Ya'alon, trumpeted as the new savior by the Right and settlers, turned out to be (surprise, surprise) a strategic disaster for Israel's security - and no less than that - for the state of its democracy and liberty. I believe Ehud Barak's testimony that Ya'alon was the man who tipped the scales against an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities. Such an attack - even if it had failed to achieve its tactical goal - would have restored Israel's strategic stance according to which the State of Israel was not established to once again rely on US or British pilots. Even if an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities had failed, it would have made it crystal clear that Israel's strategy is based on the adage of our Sages, "If someone rises to kill you, kill him first" - whether the attacker is a powerful country overseas or a knife-wielding terrorist in Hebron. But Ya'alon preferred the strategy of containment upon which he was raised in his youth on a leftist kibbutz. He upgraded Iran's world status and opened the door for its great victory over Israel.

Two years ago, during Operation Protective Edge, Ya'alon led the strategy of containment of the Hamas. The political-security echelon, headed by Ya'alon, emitted confused orders, laden with concepts that included everything - except victory. The result was that after almost two months of goal-less fighting, the IDF had suffered 70 casualties in the tunnels and alleyways of Gaza, left two bodies of Israeli soldiers behind - and retreated. Bugy Ya'alon is leaving behind an army that has become the most sophisticated junkyard of modern arms and advanced technology that exists. He leaves behind the largest, strongest and most inflated army that Israel has ever seen. But it is an army that is incapable of winning any battle. Except for the real battle that Ya'alon introduced: the battle against the settlers.

Under the instruction and with the encouragement of Ya'alon, a new stage in Israel's history has unfolded. Under pressure from the media and the Left, tens of minors were arrested and severely tortured (with the full support of the Jewish Home party) for no reason other than to keep the Left happy with Bogy. The absolute majority of the youth were released without an indictment - but they did suffer serious emotional damage that will likely haunt them the rest of their lives. (Apparently, the house in Duma was burned by the Arab locals, as was the case before and after the event in question).

But worst of all was Ya'alon's participation in the quiet 'trend' of the military coup that was beginning to take form in Israel.

The shooting of the terrorist in Hebron presented Israeli society with a choice between two approaches: The Jewish perspective, according to which the elimination of a terrorist willing to die in order to murder Jews is ethical and imperative -  and the European approach, lacking morality, seamlessly equating  between good and evil: The type of approach that turns Nazis into victims and the Jews into the new Nazis.

The upper echelons of the IDF, educated and advanced over the years on the basis of loyalty to these ideas, suddenly became the great hope of the Left. The soldier from Hebron was turned into a national enemy. The Chief of Staff explained that "If someone rises to kill you, kill him first" is not the IDF's strategy. The Deputy Chief of Staff equated those who subscribe to that value with Nazis. The radical Left Ha'aretz newspaper rather openly called for a military coup and the Defense Minister, Moshe Bogey Ya'alon, backed up and encouraged this entire process on every stage and at every ceremony.

I have no great expectations of Lieberman. Rightist ideology and power bereft of clear purpose always becomes a double-edged sword. It would behoove us all to remember former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, who was no less rightist and forceful than Lieberman. But all that we can say to Ya'alon is good-bye and good riddance.
