Re: This is a scam? By Kirsten Gillibrand. My comments

Only millionaires and billionaires own real estate? Will only middle class owners pay the real estate tax as she suggests?

Regarding the affordable health care she helped save...it isn't affordable to the working middle class and working upper middle class. It was affordable to the non working class who had their health care paid for by working middle class and upper middle class who now couldn't afford paying their own premium carrying a double load of health care for those who weren't working. Wrking people are made to feel guilty while non working are made to feel entitled. Working people literally could not afford the premiums and had to drop out and pay a penalty.

Kirsten Gillibrand is actually not helping  those who want to work and earn a decent days wage doing an honest days work.

It is the big corporations and those who are well off that help provide jobs for others. One can move up the ladder hopefully working hard and by being honest. America is the Land of Opportunity.

Kirsten Gillibrand makes it sound like being rich is sinful. Her attitude is that one doesn't deserve to be rich  if there are others who are poor.  She has latched on to a very communist socialist mentality. Equality when undeserved, brings bread of shame and discourages a healthy work ethic upon which America was built.

Friends –

Let's make one thing clear: The Republican tax plan is nothing but a massive tax cut for the rich and big corporations.

They're not trying to help middle-class families. They just want to reward special interests and wealthy donors with an early Christmas list of tax giveaways:

  • Trillions of dollars in tax cuts for corporations that hide money overseas
  • A brand-new tax loophole for the super wealthy to avoid payroll taxes
  • The elimination of the estate tax, which only benefits millionaires and billionaires

And they'll pay for it all by slashing investments in health care, education and infrastructure, and even raising taxes on some middle-class families.

This is a scam that will hurt everyday Americans, and we need to show that we aren't falling for it. Add your name now to tell Congress: Don't pass the GOP's harmful tax plan!

Click here to tell Congress: Reject the GOP's harmful tax plan!

We stopped the repeal of the Affordable Care Act, and we can stop this, too. Thanks for making your voice heard.
