In all due respect to Alan Dershowitz, he often douses out and extinguishes some of the sparks of a fire. However at the same time he douses other sparks with oil and ignites the fire,  keeping his job as firefighter active. 

A leading Democratic senator admitted this week there has yet to be concrete evidence presented that demonstrates a direct link between Russia and President Donald Trump.

CNN's Wolf Blitzer asked Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California Wednesday evening if she has seen anything to make her believe there was collusion between the Trump campaign and America's Cold War foe.

Coming from Sen. Feinstein this is quite a remarkable statement. Can't Dershowitz say the same?????

I am glad that Dershowitz clearly came out with a clear opinion.

What was such a big deal of Rosenstein report that might be used by Trump to fire Comey?  Trump has nothing to hide.  The allegations that Trump and the Russian were in cahoots to win and manipulate the elections has nothing of substance worth arguing about.  Every country has an agenda.  Every country will try to push their agenda. 

If anything, the Clinton Foundation should be investigated for their meddling into Foreign Affairs big time as it is quite evident that enemies of the USA representing terrorist regimes clearly bought influence into the White House via the Clintons.

There is nothing in comparison on record with any dealings between Trump and the Russians.  

Focusing on Investigating Trump further serves only to drain energy from the Justice Department especially when investigations against Hillary and Obama Administration personnel are real and based on actual factual evidence and the exchange of millions if not billions of dollars were happening under the Secretary of State and the mass volume of confidential emails going on a private server was clearly dangerous for the country and illegal.

Dershowitz is doing a great disservice against Trump and against our nation for pushing for an even more sophisticated investigation for a case that has been manufactured for the purpose of bringing down Donald Trump.

Alan Dershowitz's highly respected, well sought after and well compensated positions are intertwined with false foundations.  These positions are wrapped and packaged in a very sophisticated Pro Israel, Pro American, Pro Law and Justice wrapping paper. . 

1. Yes he speaks out for Israel.    However he also supports a 2 State Solution. The 2 State Solution is contrary to G-d's plan. Read the Bible.  Judea and Samaria is the Biblical Homeland of the Jewish People. This argument is something he can not internalize.   That is why he promotes a Palestinian State.
2. Yes he speaks out against the BDS yet he promotes Freedom of Expression of BDS.  By allowing Freedom of Expression of BDS he is empowering Jihad Civilization as is the plan of the Muslim Brotherhood which believes in using the tools of the system to destroy the system
3. Yes he speaks for an investigation of Hillary Clinton which has real evidence working against her and is critical of Comey yet is critical of the timing of firing Comey who not only did not do his job to prosecute Hillary Clinton, he also did not put a stop to the investigation of Donald Trump and the bogus accusations against him when it was quite obvious that the evidence against Trump was much more hype than substance. Rather Dershowitz encourages a more sophisticated investigation...

As a legal expert, keeping the legal battles burning is in his own best interest.  

This should be taken in mind when we take his expert legal advice into account.

As expected, for the past 48 hours or so, the news media have been doing what they think is their job these days: picking up whatever talking points the DNC puts out and repeating them ad nauseum. And so, yesterday's "news" consisted of nothing but wall-to-wall hysteria about the Watergate-level constitutional crisis that's been sparked by President Trump firing the one man in Washington that everyone, Republican and Democrat alike, all agreed should be fired, up until the nanosecond that Democrats learned Trump had actually done it. Since then, if you watch the cable news channels, you'd think the rest of the world had disappeared entirely, replaced by nothing but talking heads chanting "Comey! Comey! Comey!" like the cheerleading squad at a Comey High School pep rally.

At the risk of repeating what I already said yesterday: No, this is nothing like Nixon's "Saturday Night Massacre." That was when Nixon fired the Watergate special prosecutor and his Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General resigned in protest. In this case, Trump fired an FBI Director (a position that is filled "at the pleasure of the President"), with the recommendations of his Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General. One piece of actual news: Trump told NBC's Lester Holt that he had already decided Comey had to go regardless of what they might have said.

A Newsletter For Liberals

We've been getting some glowing feedback lately on the newsletter, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. However, I have an idea for a second newsletter that I think might be even more popular, and perhaps even lucrative. I got the idea from watching the studio audiences for Stephen Colbert, Bill Maher and "The View" all erupt into cheers and applause at news that Trump had fired James Comey. You see, they hadn't been informed that the guy they'd spent months being told by those same hosts was a nefarious, incompetent partisan who stole the election from Hillary and needed to be fired was now suddenly a dedicated public servant whose firing was both an outrage and a constitutional crisis. So this inspired me: I'm going to try to put out a newsletter to help liberals keep up with all the shifting positions of their leaders so they won't be caught short whenever they do a complete flip-flop on their principles.

You know, on second thought, forget it. It wouldn't be worth the effort. I'd have to send the darn thing out ten times a day. Just trying to keep Maxine Waters' thinking straight would be a full-time job.

Oklahoma: Abortion Is Murder

HR 1004 doesn't carry the weight of law, but this resolution certainly offers insight into Oklahoma legislators' thinking about abortion.

And, yes, they use the "m"-word. We all know that's what it is, so why not just say it?

The resolution asserts that equal protection under the law for "all human beings" is mandated by the United States Constitution and directs judges to "not interfere with Legislature's right to clarify Oklahoma law." It also directs "every public official in Oklahoma" to "exercise their authority as appropriate...to stop the murder of innocent unborn children by abortion."

Oklahoma already has what is arguably the strictest abortion law in the nation. But this resolution makes the reason for those limits crystal clear and inescapable.

The message to all who receive this message is that we, the adults of our generation, have the obligation to confront evil, bring justice, so that our children will not have to confront them as did our parents generation.... Heaven Forbid..

We demand that Allianz pay back victims of the Holocaust whom they insured. 

 Let me suggest the following.  When Allianz can not locate the proper heirs to the Insurance policies, since many policy owners,  if not most are deceased at this point in time, and/or are unable to locate documentation that is reasonable considering the circumstances, and after conducting a serious search for the proper heir, and in lieu of finding the proper heir,  the money should be spent on Holocaust Survivors to help pay for their day to day care especially if they are without proper means, home care, food, clothing,  shelter, medical supplies and equipment and everyday living expenses.  Also to further their legacy, money should be awarded to Children and Grandchildren of Holocaust Survivors around the globe to act as guardians to spread the legacy. Descendants of Holocaust Survivors would be more than happy to  act as stewards and trustees of the money, with a precondition that the money goes to a non for profit educational institution or organization of the trustee's choice.  

This will perpetuate the memory of the victims of the Holocaust in a fair and equitable manner and Allianz will regain its reputation and make amends for taking part in the atrocities of the Holocaust.

The Automobile Association of America (AAA) has teamed up with the Allianz Group, a behemoth German insurance and asset management company. AAA now offers its customers some of Allianz's travel insurance products.

The problem is - and it's a huge one – Allianz was a major collaborator with the German Nazi regime in the 1930s and 1940s. Allianz insured Nazi facilities such as Auschwitz-Birkenau, Dachau and the Lodz Ghetto, at the same time it sold life, annuity and endowment insurance policies to Jewish families throughout Europe. After the war, Allianz denied survivors' claims by demanding original policies, death certificates and other requirements no survivor could meet after surviving the hell of the very camps and ghettos Allianz had insured. Today, Allianz still owes more than $2.5 Billion to the heirs of the insurance policyholders who perished in those very death camps it was making money insuring! This, from a company that had net income in 2016 of $7.25 BILLION Euros (worth more than dollars) and had on December 31, 2016, third-party assets of $1.361 TRILLION Euros under management!

Since it will be very difficult to identify all of the heirs entitled to compensation from Allianz should the insurance giant come clean (many families were completely wiped out in the Holocaust), a significant portion of those funds would go to Holocaust survivors, a majority of whom still live in poverty and need money for medications, food and other basic necessities. 

A couple of weeks ago, after having been the target of demonstrations by Holocaust survivors, victims' heirs and Shalom International for the past six years, Allianz announced that it will no longer be sponsoring the PGA golf tournament in Boca Raton, Florida. This story was covered world-wide by the Associated Press: http://www.insurancejournal.com/…/sou…/2017/04/26/448992.htm. Buoyed by that victory, we must now demand that AAA terminate its relationship with Allianz, until Allianz agrees to publish all its records and disgorge 100% of the funds it owes. You may also remind AAA that there are many well-qualified travel insurance services other than Allianz with whom AAA could partner with if Allianz will not meet its obligations to survivors.

So far from being an advocate for Women's rights, Sarsour by her ideology, and defender of Islam as a religion  is actually working to oppress women.  She is by no stretch of the imagination, a true defender of women's rights.

Let me return the favor and encourage Sarsour to have a hard conversation about how she is preaching hatred while claiming to be fighting for equality, and putting women down while saying she's trying to lift them up. The Brooklyn-born Sarsour, daughter of Palestinian immigrants, shared the dais Sunday with another darling of the feminist "resistance," Rasmea Odeh — convicted in Israel of killing two Hebrew University students in a 1969 terrorist attack and of planning an attack on the British Consulate. After her release, Odeh was able to immigrate to the United States by hiding her crime. She's now being deported to Jordan. In a flattering interview with Ha'aretz, Sarsour advocated a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in which the Jewish state would no longer exist. Odeh has become a leftist hero. Sunday night, she and Sarsour embraced, and Sarsour gushed to the audience about feeling "honored and privileged to be here in this space, and honored to be on this stage with Rasmea." It's a curious embrace of terrorism and anti-Semitism from a recipient of a $500,000 taxpayer grant from Mayor de Blasio, as Sarsour's group, the Arab American Association of New York, was last year. Sarsour, in fact, has been an important ally of de Blasio's since his election — a role she's sure to reprise in the mayor's bid for a second term. Sarsour said last month feminism is "about the rights of all women." Yet in the same interview, when asked whether there's "room for people who support the state of Israel" in the women's movement, she said: "There can't be in feminism." Apparently, Sarsour doesn't believe all women deserve equal rights — Israeli and Israel-supporting women are an exception. And, by her logic, since she isn't for the rights of all women, she isn't a feminist. In a flattering interview with Ha'aretz, Sarsour advocated a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in which the Jewish state would no longer exist. And Sarsour once tweeted that "nothing is creepier than Zionism." Meaning that her struggles, whether they're for Palestinians or women, are just, but the Jewish liberation movement has no right to exist. In her speech to Jewish Voice for Peace, an organization of extremist Jewish activists dedicated to delegitimizing Israel, Sarsour said, "There's always been anti-Semitism," and people must fight it. She doesn't seem to grasp that advocating wiping Israel off the map, as she does, is fighting for the continued oppression of Jews, denying their self-determination and taking away their safe haven — nor did she seem to grasp the chutzpah required to make a statement like that after embracing and praising Odeh. Sarsour doesn't only deny the rights of Jewish and pro-Israel women — for example, she said Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a prominent critic of radical Islam and victim of female genital mutilation should have her vagina taken away. Sarsour claimed that Zionists are asking her "to somehow leave out a portion of my identity so you can be welcomed to a space to work on justice . . . We, as Palestinian-Americans . . . will not change who we are to make anyone comfortable." Here's the thing: No one asked Sarsour to stop being a Palestinian-American or wanting there to be a Palestinian state. What pro-Israel feminists — like myself and Emily Shire, who wrote a New York Times column that sparked the question of feminism and Zionism — are saying is, we may not agree on the solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but we agree that we want equal rights for women, so let's join forces on that. But Sarsour is an adherent of intersectionality, an idea that women cannot separate the different elements of a woman's identity, such that the oppression of marginalized groups is compounded with women's oppression. The women's movement, according to people who believe this idea, can't just be about equality for women. Therefore, Sarsour has argued, Palestinian women suffer more than Palestinian men and the women's movement must be anti-Israel. What she forgets is that, by that logic, Israeli women suffer more than Israeli men, for example, when Hamas shoots rockets from Gaza at Israeli civilians or Palestinian terrorists try to run them over. Yet she doesn't think all bigotry must be fought. "Of course there's anti-Semitism," she said Sunday, adding that she doesn't ask for Jews' political opinions before she opposes discrimination against them. But then, she said anti-Semitism "can't exactly compare . . . to anti-black racism or Islamophobia." Sorry, Jews, your safety doesn't really matter. Then again, that's not surprising from someone who thinks Israel shouldn't exist and praises a murderer of Israelis. Any movement that seeks to uplift women shouldn't be led by someone so unapologetically discriminatory, or it cannot claim to stand for the rights of all women.
