BSD Orthodox Jews: We Reap What We Sow. Time to leave the unG-dly Party.
Friday, November 06, 2020
What Will Turn the Election in Trump's Favor?
What will turn the election in Trump's favor?
We need G-d on our side.
1. Orthodox Religious Jews should take the lead and denounce the Democratic party as an UnG-dly party bc the platform of the Democratic party reject the 7 Noahide laws. All religious Jewish elected Democrat Officials should leave the party en masse. In NY Chaim Deutsch, Kalman Yeger, Simcha Eichenstein and Simcha Felder. This will cause a domino effect among Jews and non Jews.
2. Allow Jews living in Judea and Samaria and East Jerusalem Sovereign rights to settle the Land and to defend Jewish settlement ( their lives and property). Allow them to live a Torah Lifestyle, with Torah Law being the Law rather than COGAT, whose raison d'etre seems to protect the Arabs from accountability of attacking Jews rather than protecting the lives and property of Jews living under their jurisdiction.
G-d's Vision is consistent with International Law (see Gauthier). https://youtu.be/UV9peRV4NzY
I think Trump should reject the Democrat's as illegitimate and un-American and treasonous. This is not a legitimate party. It is a wolf dressed in sheep's clothing.
Our focus should be on the 7 Noahide laws, the values of America which they reject. The root of this election conflict is about G-dliness. It is theological.
When we bring G-dliness into this country, the Democrats will be exposed as frauds and we all win without a fight.

Robin,
As America continued to debate the tragic school shooting in Parkland, FL, news broke that America's Pastor, Dr. Billy Graham had died at his home in Charlotte at the age of 99, just a few months shy of his 100th birthday.
My first reaction was "Now there's a real example of 'Fake News.'" Billy Graham has passed from this earthly life, but he is anything but dead. He is more alive now than ever before, and living a life that will never end. And if he isn't, then everything he stood for and preached to millions is a cruel hoax. Some might try to say that Billy Graham was a good man, but would argue there isn't a God or an afterlife. Sorry, but that's not a defensible position. If Billy Graham spent his entire adult life preaching a lie and urging people to follow a lie, then he's hardly a "good man." At best he would a man himself duped by spiritual fantasy and who sincerely pushed others to a belief in a fairy tale. That's not the mark of a "good man." Billy Graham didn't preach a message of just going around and being polite and kind. He preached that all of us are sinners and in need of a Saviour, and that the Saviour is Jesus Christ.

-- 45 times
By Mike Huckabee
In the wake of the horrendous school shooting in Parkland, Florida, the gun control lobby is adamant that it's time to "listen to the children" and pass a lot of new anti-gun laws. They don't explain why we should rely on more government to protect us when the government entities already charged with protecting us on the federal, state and local levels all failed tragically and spectacularly to do their jobs. With the same temerity as the deputy who thinks he did a good job by staying outside while the shooter murdered 17 people, the Broward County Sheriff insists that he's shown "amazing leadership" and is refusing widespread calls to resign (by the way, he was right when he denied that his deputies had visited the shooter's home 39 times and taken no action – a new review of dispatch records shows it was at least 45 times).

Dana Loesch takes aim and fires with words
By Mike Huckabee
Perhaps Dana Loesch finally got her fill of hateful, lewd, agenda-driven accusations at the CNN "town hall," because she has shown in the hours since that she can wield words just as effectively as she can draw-aim-fire. And it's about time somebody put it this way.
In just one of a series of tweets, she said, "This is just the latest example of government failure and it is why we fight for the rights of law-abiding people to protect our children the same way we protect our politicians and our celebrities." She pounded law enforcement at all levels for doing NOTHING to head off an easily predictable act of horrific violence. And in doing so, she hit on the most important reason why the right to gun ownership must not be infringed: the defense of you and your loved ones ultimately falls to YOU. If you depend on the powers-that-be to protect yourself and your family, you may end up dead or with your life changed forever.

The Mayor of Oakland comes very close
By Mike Huckabee
Escalating the sanctuary city concept to the very edge of sedition, the mayor of Oakland, California, is no longer merely refusing to cooperate with federal authorities who are rounding up criminal illegal immigrants for deportation – she's actually warning them when she hears word that an ICE raid might be coming. She claims that she's being vague enough about how much she helps criminals avoid arrest to keep from being charged as an accessory. But where I come from, that would be considered aprettyl low barfor a public servant.

Apparently Feinstein isn't far-out enough
By Mike Huckabee
I wrote here very recently about how California was becoming so far left that its next generation of politicians will make the current group look downright sensible. Well, it's already starting: over the weekend, the state Democratic Party declined to endorse their own longtime Senator, Dianne Feinstein, voting 54-37 for her further-left challenger, Kevin DeLeon. It takes 60 votes, so neither won the Party endorsement; still, it's a big no-confidence blow for Feinstein. Even more, it's a sign that the California Democratic Party has moved so far to the left, they may soon be nominating candidates for Senate in Hawaii.
Seriously, how far-out do you have to be to think that Dianne Feinstein is a rightwing conservative?
----------------------
"It's the economy stupid."
By Mike Huckabee
I have long warned people against putting too much faith in polls in general, but especially not generic party preference polls taken months before an election, which are too stiff and scratchy even to be useful as toilet paper. That truth applies whether they are good or bad for my preferred side. But since the media insist on assigning party preference polls unwarranted importance, then let's see how much attention they give to the latest Politico/Morning Consult poll. It shows that the much-ballyhooed "blue wave" has ebbed to a low tide, with Republicans now leading Democrats by 40-38%. Why? To quote a famous Democrat: "It's the economy, stupid."

Robert Spencer writes that Biden, if allowed to become President would impinge upon American sovereignty and weaken our nation in the face of international foes and competitors
https://pjmedia.com/columns/robert-spencer/2020/11/05/a-biden-presidency-coffee-breaks-over-back-on-your-heads-n1126435
Measure for Measure...
Hasn't Hashem's Vision regarding Israel's Sovereignty over Temple Mount, Judea and Samaria been impinged with Netanyahu and Trump validating and legitimizing a Palestinian State within the Biblical boundaries Promised by G-d to the Seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob?
Netanyahu once again legitimized evil by accepting a false narrative namely Biden's "victory" most likely predicated on a fraudulent election.
President Trump now experiences the deep pain of the Hilltop Youth who were stabbed in the back by someone whom they considered to be a friend and not a foe.
For the last 5 years or so, Breslev Chosid Settler Amiram Ben Uliel has been an unfortunate framed scapegoat as was minor E for the Duma arson. After being arrested, tortured emotionally and physically, languishing in prison with no Habeas Corpus, no trial nor verdict for years, he was finally convicted of 3 life sentences on May 18, 2020 this past year, for a crime for which there is no credible evidence he committed!
Did Netanyahu and all the political big shots ever admit to themselves or publicly that their rush to accept a false narrative without a fair investigation of the facts, destroyed lives and was political in nature?
Hilltop youth were rounded up, denied civil and legal rights, emotionally and physically tortured and condemned across the political spectrum without a fair investigation of the facts but rather based on the biased say so of Shabak who had a political agenda to demonize the Settlers via the children they nurtured.
Following American elections, Netanyahu prematurely rushed to congratulate Biden on a stolen victory called by the leftist Media. By doing so, he demonstrated that he accepted the corrupt and evil modus operandi of the Democrats and was looking the other way, and blind to blatant election fraud that probably stole the election. Why would he do this?
The question is, who has the courage to really fight for what is just and right?
But A G-d of Truth and Justice will eventually prevail.
For a decisive victory, that apparently needs Divine intervention. President Trump needs to step in line with The Divine Vision regarding Judea and Samaria and Temple Mount and stop pushing for the self determination of a fake and non-existent Palestinian people!
In Judaism, the Seven Laws of Noah (Hebrew: שבע מצוות בני נח, Sheva Mitzvot B'nei Noach), also referred to as the Noahide Laws[1][2] or the Noachian Laws[1][3] (from the Hebrew pronunciation of "Noah"), are a set of imperatives which, according to the Talmud, were given by God[4] as a binding set of laws for the "sons of Noah" – that is, all of humanity.[1][2][3][5][6][7]
Surely in step with a G-dly Vision and G-d on his side, Trump will win decisively!
As for Netanyahu, he crossed the line and has betrayed both G-d and the people of Israel with the suggestion of legitimacy of a 2 State Solution and now has betrayed the Trump Administration with him congratulating President-elect Biden even before the electoral college called the vote.
Evil forces in play.
We can't judge Netanyahu because we don't know the ins and outs. But it seems to me that he really blew it.

Fwd: The Re-branding of Donald Trump

Subject: The Re-branding of Donald Trump
To: Faigerayzel <faigerayzel@gmail.com>
Ron JagerThe writer, a 25-year veteran of the I.D.F., served as a field mental health officer and Commander of the Central Psychiatric Military Clinic for Reserve Soldiers at Tel-Hashomer. Since retiring from active duty, he provides consultancy services to NGO's implementing Psycho trauma and Psychoeducation programs to communities in the North and South of Israel. Today, Ron is a strategic advisor at the Office of the Chief Foreign Envoy of Judea and Samaria. |
The Re-branding of Donald TrumpThroughout the Republican primary season this past year, Donald Trump enjoyed near rock star status after being left largely alone by the mainstream media. Their coordinated goal was to tolerate the positive media attention given to Trump so that he could succeed in winning the Republican Party nomination. According to this logic, Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio would have been much more formidable candidates for Clinton to overcome, so let Trump win. Endless stories branded Trump as the voice of the angry silent majority tired of big government and political correctness and, most of all, tired of Obama and the Democratic Party. All this ended abruptly the day Trump clinched the Republican nomination. It's as if the dams burst, filling the airwaves, newspapers, blogs, websites, social media, and news shows on all the TV stations (controlled by the Democrat-oriented media) with vile, irrational hatred of Donald Trump the candidate. All you could hear was a systematic process of demonization, an unabashed, uncalled for fanning of flames of hatred for Trump. What had Donald Trump done that can explain this lynch mob mentality? What was it that ushered in this wild, impassioned "kill the beast" atmosphere? How can one explain or even comprehend that politicians and citizens who normally exhibit sensitivity and civility in the public discourse becoming so brazen in stating lies, baseless accusations, and general nastiness as they bare their teeth in a frenzy of violent self-righteousness? So begins the re-branding of Donald Trump, with the mainstream media running an intense, coordinated media campaign turning the huge tide of public support Trump had garnered against him and depriving him of the unbiased media exposure he needs to convince the American people to vote for Trump on Election Day. Trump has been transformed into the naysayer. The heretic. Roaming the countryside much like Johnny Appleseed, from town to town, and from state to state, going against the grain by repeating fearlessly that Obama and the Democratic Party are running America into the ground. Trump explained, for those willing to listen and to packed audiences, his tremendously popular messages of law and order, immigration enforcement, border security, and pro-growth economic policies. Trump repeated again and again that the threat of Islamic terror is real. Despite Obama's efforts to deny and refuse to confront Islamic terror; Fort Hood, San Bernardino, Orlando, and Dallas have all proven that Trump is right and that the Democratic Party, led by Hillary Clinton, is sweeping under the rug what every American knows is true about the clear and present danger Islamic terror is for Americans. In the meantime – as crowds pour into Trump rallies throughout the country, waiting in long lines for a chance to be part of the "shake-up" Americans are hoping and praying for, to hear and cheer for Trump. Hillary Clinton is forced to make a rare appearance before unquestioning Hispanic and black news reporters who at the end of the staged press conference give her an unprofessional round of applause. It was at this event that she claimed that she had "short-circuited" in response to the FBI report that questioned the truthfulness of her claims. Clinton will continue to keep herself at a safe distance and appear before small, sympathetic audiences and interviewers, while Donald Trump will continue to hold rallies with tens of thousands who want the wall, who want illegal immigration stopped, who want to keep hostile Muslims far from America, and who want America to be great again. So as the press manufactures one phony article after another re-branding Donald Trump as an unelectable candidate, it is essential that we be aware that what we are observing is the collapse of the old media and the rise of the new social media. Donald Trump has harnessed social media to spread his agenda and policies. Trump is attacked by the old media for his Twitter observations, yet by the time the old media attacks him, Trump has moved on to tweet another thought-provoking response for the public to ponder and to which the old media must respond. In so doing, Trump has kept the old and democratically controlled media off balance, focusing on him and his message. Donald Trump tweets away effortlessly, making the lies and the rebranding efforts of the old media meaningless. In so doing, not only has Trump become the news, but he creates a focus on Trump the candidate. Donald Trump dominates social media, reaching out directly to the American public avoiding the minefields of the biased and largely unsupportive old media, leaving them in the dust. As a result, the old media is perceived as a Democratic-slanted propaganda machine unable to free itself from the shackles of political correctness and presenting viewpoints that are the antithesis of what Americans actually believe in. This past year, major media events culminating in reports on Ferguson, Black Lives Matter, Dallas, and San Francisco have all contributed to mainstream media losing the trust and truthfulness associated with them in the past. They, the mainstream old media outlets, are even willing to sacrifice their "Temple of Truth" because they are acutely aware that if Trump can somehow penetrate the massive Democratic-inspired propaganda erected against his campaign, the election is over, and Donald Trump will be president. The good news is that on Election Day, the American people have to leave their homes and get in line to vote. In most elections, it's hard to get even 50% to turn out to vote. And therein lies the Trump advantage in November – who is going to have the most motivated, most inspired voters show up to vote? You know the answer to this question. Who's the candidate with the most committed supporters? Whose election-day activists are going to be up at 5 AM on Election Day, volunteering all day long, all the way until the last polling place has closed, making sure every Tom, Dick, and Harry and Shirley has cast his or her ballot? That's right. That's why the rebranding of Donald Trump will fail, and he will go on and win the election on November 8. |

Robin,
Before the FBI can take information before the FISA court, it must make sure it has followed what are called the Woods Procedures, which haven't received much attention yet but need to. These rules are named not for actor James Woods --- who would no doubt approve of them, though --- but by Michael Woods, who as head of the Office of General Counsel's National Security Law Unit drafted them in April, 2001, after concerns that the FBI had presented inaccurate information to the court. These rules lay out all the levels of approval that must be received at the FBI and Justice Department to make sure "evidence" presented to the FISA court is indeed true.
The sequence of steps is extremely complicated, by design.
Sharyl Attkisson, one of the finest journalists on the planet --- note I don't have to put quotation marks around the word "journalist" when describing her --- has a great piece explaining how these rules fit into how we should view Christopher Steele's "dossier" and the fact that it ever got in front of the FISA judges to justify spying on an American citizen and, by expansion, the Trump campaign.

Good news about VA reform
By Mike Huckabee
Here's some good news that ought to brighten every American's day: the reform of the Veterans' Administration is looking like a bipartisan success story. Thanks to the VA Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act passed last June, it's now easier to fire the kind of executives who put veterans on waiting lists until they died and tried to cover it up. Over 1500 underperforming VA employees have been given their walking papers, and over 70 whistleblowers have been protected from retaliation for speaking up to defend vets from a corrupt and failing system.
Judging from the news coverage, you'd think that the #1 priority of the federal government was to protect illegal immigrants. In fact, the #1 priority should be keeping our promise to America's veterans that they will get the best of care in gratitude for the sacrifices they make to safeguard our freedom and security. It's great to see that promise finally starting to be kept.
---------------------------
Holocaust-denier running for Congress
By Mike HuckabeeThere is a Congressional district in Chicago where a reprehensible Holocaust-denier is set to be the Republican candidate, and some liberals are trying to use this to tar the entire Republican Party as sympathetic to Nazis and white supremacists. I shouldn't even have to waste my pixels refuting this outrageous slander, but just to set the record straight: this person in no way represents the Republican Party or any legitimate member of it. He's only set to be the GOP candidate there because that district is so lockstep Democratic that he's the only one who bothered to register to run, just as he has half-a-dozen times in the past to no effect. He's no more representative of Republicans than some fringe communist nut wasting his time running in a safe Republican district is of mainstream Democrats.
Blogger Ann Althouse had the best take on it: that if anyone would try to turn something as meaningless as this into ruthless party propaganda, "ironically, that would be Nazish."
------------------------------
Kimmel's selective editing
By Mike HuckabeeJimmy Kimmel thinks liberals dominate late night shows because the job takes intelligence. But according to some Trump supporters whom he tried to blindside for a pro-illegal immigrant piece, it apparently also takes dishonesty, arrogance, bullying, a hair-trigger temper, a massive ego, a dollop of racism and sexism, and plenty of selective editing. If he wants to prove them wrong, all he has to do is grant their demand to release the unedited footage of their appearance. Now, that would be something that might get me to watch late night TV again!
----------------------
Colts linebacker killed by illegal immigrant
By Mike HuckabeeThe immigration issue just took a tragic twist with the news that Indianapolis Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson was killed by a suspected drunk driver believed to be an illegal immigrant who has already been deported twice. The man reportedly struck Jackson and his Uber driver with a pickup truck when they were stopped on the side of the highway.
President Trump took to Twitter this morning to offer condolences to Jackson's family and call his death a "disgraceful" and preventable tragedy. He called on Democrats to get tough on border security and illegal immigration. And if John McCain's proposal for a DACA bill without funding for a border wall weren't already a nonstarter, it's clear that it is now.
----------------------
Democrat transparency
By Mike HuckabeeSay, remember way back to three days ago, when Democrats were railing that House Republicans were trying to suppress information by not declassifying their response to Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes' memo on FBI FISA Court abuse? Well, on Monday, the Committee voted unanimously to release the Democratic response. This was after those very same Committee Democrats had voted unanimously not to release the original memo.
I guess the Democrats' idea of showing transparency is to always act in transparent self-interest.

An open letter to Moshe Feiglin following the election
Rabbi Yisrael Salanter of saintly and blessed memory was an immensely pious man, but a he lived a life of poverty. His wife once heated up some milk that they could barely afford; the milk came to a vigorous boil, overflowed, and spilled onto the floor. A person with no emuna would have likely yelled at his wife, "Stupid! Why are you so careless?" One can imagine how a bit of spilled milk could trigger a domestic war…
No, there was no war in the Salanter home. Rabbi Yisrael asked his wife, "Sweetheart, what do you think we did wrong to deserve the milk being spilled?" His wife pondered for a moment and remembered that she forgot to leave the payment for the milk in the prearranged hiding place for compensating the milkman. If the milk hadn't spilled, she would have forgotten to pay him entirely. Negligence in paying a debt is a serious violation of Torah. What's more, the milkman – out of respect to Rabbi Yisrael – might have been embarrassed to claim what's due. Then, the Salanters would have been guilty of swindling the milkman, G-d forbid. As such, they were happy that the milk spilled because it saved them from serious transgressions.
The Salanters' story has a happy ending because of emuna. Without emuna, little stories with happy endings become major dramas with tragic outcomes. Walking the path of emuna is like walking in a flowering botanical garden where one flower is prettier that the next. The path without emuna is a perilous jungle of negative emotions -- snake-pits of anger, quick sands of depression, poison spiders of anxiety, and torturous nightmares. Isn't it better to choose the garden?

Robin,
Think of all the time that must have been spent by our intelligence agencies in behind-the-scenes maneuvering to manufacture a pretense for investigating Trump. (And, yes, we're on to them; we're still working on getting the last few puzzle pieces, but we know they did this.) The many millions of taxpayer dollars spent on prosecuting attorneys skilled in the ways of ruining lives in order to win cases. The show trials designed to intimidate and "flip" a former campaign associate whom the judge knows would otherwise be of no interest to them. The immunity deals. The strategic leaks. The close collaboration with major media outlets, through former government officials such as John Brennan and James Comey, to reinforce a chosen narrative while twisting like a pretzel to excuse blatant examples of lawbreaking by the President's political enemies. The endless redacting of documents for no good reason other than covering their tracks. So much time, so much money, so much effort. What is it all for?
TO GET RID OF PRESIDENT TRUMP.

Shocking new poll
By Mike Huckabee
A new poll of Americans suggests that we had better confirm Supreme Court Justices who know and respect the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, because if they take away our rights, too many Americans won't even realize it.
A survey by the Freedom Forum found that when asked to name the rights guaranteed by the First Amendment, just 56% of Americans could name freedom of speech, and it got even more depressing from there. Only 15% knew it protected freedom of religion (that probably doesn't include some federal judges), 13% could name freedom of the press, 12% knew freedom of assembly, and a pitiful 2% knew that it guaranteed the right to petition the government for redress of grievances.
Only 3% of Americans could name four out of the five rights guaranteed by the First Amendment (or six, if you count as two the freedom from government imposition of a religion and the freedom from government interference in the practice of your religion – a lot of people seem to know the former, but not the latter.) Nine percent thought the right to bear arms (Second Amendment) was in the First. Two percent thought it guaranteed the right to vote. And a shocking 40% of Americans couldn't name a single one of their First Amendment rights.
Not surprisingly, the survey also found that the more respondents knew about their rights, the less likely they were to support more government restrictions on them. I would add that it's also not surprising to learn that the rise in support for "Democratic" socialism has been accompanied by a huge rise in ignorance of the Constitutional rights of individuals.

Primary Tuesday
By Mike Huckabee
Today, primary elections are being held in Kansas, Missouri, Michigan and Washington State, and there's a special election in Ohio's 12 th district to fill the House seat being vacated by retiring Rep. Pat Tiberi. All of these races are drawing fevered attention from the national media for what they might indicate about how voters feel about President Trump (Translation: "Come on, you stupid voters! Please, please, please forget about the booming economy and your new jobs and lower taxes and hate Trump like we do!")
The race getting the most attention is that Ohio race, where the seat has been held by Republicans for over 35 years, but polls show a dead heat between 31-year-old Democrat Danny O'Connor and two-term Republican State Senator Troy Balderson. However, the polls also still show 7% undecided, and the only accurate poll is the one being taken today at the ballot boxes. O'Connor tried to show some independence that might appeal to moderates when he said he wouldn't back Nancy Pelosi as Speaker if the Democrats took over the House, but he's since backed away from that. As I've explained before, she is so entrenched and has so much control over committee assignments and purse strings that she will never have to leave until she walks out on her own accord or is carried out feet first.
Our objective journalism corps will also be watching intently to see how candidates endorsed by President Trump fare, as an indicator of whether Republican voters are still with him ("Boo!") or abandoning him (40-point New York Times headline: "YAY!") Much will also be made of turnout: will there be a big turnout of Democrats, signaling that much-vaunted "blue wave" in November? Will it be matched (or even swamped) by Republicans, dead set against allowing Democrats to take over the House, where they can halt all the investigations of Deep State perfidy and block all the reforms that Trump has been trying to make, while bringing back the type of tax and regulatory policies that made living through the Obama economy feel like crawling across a hot parking lot covered in fly paper? Another big question is whether Independents who supported Trump will stick with him or fall for the siren song of socialism being pushed by the Dems' young Bernie Sanders Mini-Me's? That, we might not know until November, unless a lot of Independents turn out to vote in party primaries.
I'll have a wrap-up of the election results tomorrow. But until then, I'll just urge Republicans in those states to turn out and vote as if the future of America depended on it. Because it does.

Censorship online: The removal of Alex Jones' InfoWars
By Mike Huckabee
All within a period of about 24 hours, the social media giants Facebook, YouTube, Spotify and Apple (iTunes) removed Alex Jones and his InfoWars videos and podcasts from their platforms. As Fox News media critic Howard Kurtz notes at this link, the sites have been under pressure about censoring conservative commentators, but they apparently felt that Jones' brand of conspiracy theorizing fell outside the line of acceptable free speech.
Personally, I don't care for what Jones does, and I would never rely on InfoWars as a news source (then again, same goes for the SPLC, and these sites use them as their trusted advisers!) But I would rather have the marketplace of ideas remain open to all, including bad ideas, with the understanding that the rancid fruit will be identified and rejected, rather than have a self-appointed group of speech police in Silicon Valley pre-judge who's allowed to speak online.
Besides, as several commentators noted, when you're dealing with people who are allegedly paranoid conspiracy theorists, how do you think they'll react to all the social media platforms banning them at the same time?
Meanwhile, Bretibart.com (another site that's had its problems with being blocked by social media) pulled up a remarkably prescient Jones interview from 2015 in which guest Matt Drudge of the Drudge Report warned Jones not to rely on social media for an Internet platform. Drudge has one of the most-visited sites online, but it's an independent website, with only a small presence on Twitter. Drudge said this:
"Make your own place. The Internet allows you to make your own dynamic, your own universe. Why are you gravitating toward somebody else's universe?...They are taking your energy, and you get nothing in return!"
Young people might not remember this, but in the Paleolithic days of the Internet, bloggers each had their own pages, on websites they paid to host. Then they began moving to blogging platform sites, and then to social media sites like Facebook that promised convenience and visibility, easy connections and free membership. But as always, those "freebies" came at a steep price. First, it was loss of privacy and exposure of your personal information, then demonetization of "controversial" content, and now, the corporate bosses are trying to police what users are allowed to say. This has started an exodus of users.
So where will they all go? To other social media sites that will grow big and rich and arrogant and repeat the same cycle? Back to printed books, manual typewriters, friends you know personally and going out into the fresh air occasionally? Or will commentators follow Drudge's advice and return to hosting their own sites, independent of the speech monitors of Silicon Valley?
I have no idea what happens next. But I can tell you this: If I suddenly disappear from Twitter or Facebook for expressing a very-bad, triple-plus-ungood thought, you can always get my newsletter twice a day by email, or find me at MikeHuckabee.com.

RIP Charlotte Rae
By Mike Huckabee
I'm sad to report the death of Charlotte Rae, one of those familiar TV faces many of us grew up with. She passed away Sunday at 92, surrounded by family at her home in L.A.
Most people remember her as the motherly Mrs. Garrett on two long-running shows, "Diff'rent Stokes" and "The Facts of Life." But her career stretched over seven decades. She first came to fame playing Mammy Yokum in the original Broadway production of "L'il Abner;" appeared on such early TV shows as "Car 54, Where Are You;" and kept working almost to the end, on such recent teen shows as "Pretty Little Liars" and "Girl Meets World." She was one of those rare actors whose colleagues describe her as being as warm, funny and down-to-earth in real life as she appeared on screen. In fact, she once said that at a book signing, the fans "all wanted a hug from me! And I gave it to them. All of them."
She will be missed by fans, and boy, will her attitude be missed in Hollywood.

Hope for baby boomers
By Mike Huckabee
Here's a story that gives hope to aging baby boomers that you're never too old to rock, and not just in a rocking chair. In Germany, police launched a search after two elderly men disappeared from a retirement home. They were finally located at 3 a.m., in the crowd at Wacken Open Air, the world's biggest heavy metal rock festival (I can imagine them being the only ones there yelling, "Turn it up!")
Police said they were finally persuaded to go back to the home, although they were in a "disoriented and dazed" state and reluctant to leave. I'll bet that described everyone there.
