MK Naftali Bennett has consistently come out to speak out for our Biblical Deed to the Land of Israel and of our rights to Eretz Yisroel based on Torah. I love his ad campaign, not to apologize....'To be strong and state the truth.
I have heard Bennett attacked as being anti Torah. His public statements and willingness to stand for Torah prove otherwise. He is consistent with Torah.
Besides publicly speaking about our 3,800 years connection to the Land of Israel, he clearly stated that homosexuality is against the Torah and he defended the Givati unit who fought so bravely this past summer in Operation Tzuk Eitan. Givati Commander Ofer Winter Commander of the Givati unit, put his faith in G-d, encouraged his soldiers to go into war, praying to G-d, saying the Shma, and depending on G-d's deliverance and indeed G-d listened and Israel witnessed miracles before it's very eyes. The Commander, Ofer Winter, a G-d fearing man did not say, it is our power and our strength, the strength of the IDF that will make us victorious. He said put your faith in G-d.
Yet Ofer Winter was criticized.
Naftali Bennett defended him and his Torah position.
The Commander's Letter
Eighteen thousand Israeli soldiers amassed on the border of Gaza last week, waiting for the order to go in and clean out the thousands of smuggling and infiltration tunnels and launching pads of the Hamas terrorists. The Commander of Givati, one of the largest infantry divisions, sent this letter to his soldiers (roughly translated from the Hebrew):
Dear Officers and Fighters,
It's a big honor that fell to our portion to be and to serve in the unit of Givati at this time. History choose us to be at the tip of the spear of fighting the terrorist Gaza enemy that provoked and taunted the God of Israel's battalions. [Here he uses terminology from the Biblical account of David fighting Goliath.]
We prepared and trained ourselves for this moment. And we accept upon ourselves the mission, as emissaries and from a place of total humility. We are willing to endanger ourselves and give up our lives for the sake of protecting our families and our nation and our heritage.
… I'm counting on you, on each and every one of you, that you will act in this spirit, the spirit of Israeli warriors, who are going in the forefront of the fighting forces, … I raise my eyes to the heavens and call out with you, "Shema Yisrael, Hashem Elokenu, Hashem Echad." Hashem, the God of Israel, please make our way successful, that we are going and standing to fight for Your nation of Israel against an enemy that taunts Your name. In the name of the IDF fighters and particularly the fighters of this division and its commanders, it should be that what it says in the Torah should be fulfilled by us: "Because God your Lord Who is going with you to fight for you against your enemies, to redeem you." And let us say, "Amen."

Was Ofer Winter's Torah Stand acknowledged by UTJ or Shas?
Has UTJ or Shas spoken out publicly for our rights to the Eretz Yisroel based on Torah and of the Biblical boundaries which include Judea and Samaria and Har Habayit? Did UTJ or Shas apologize for allowing the expulsion of the Jews of Gush Katif to happen because of political deals?
Surely UTJ and Shas and MGH (Moetzet Gedolie Hatorah) in private believe that the Biblical boundaries of Eretz Yisroel are true since otherwise would be to deny Torah. Surely they believe that Jews have an obligation to defend the Land of Israel and its citizens. (Milchemet Mitzvah) Surely, they admired Commander Ofer's instructing his army first as a G-d fearing Jew and then as a Commander.
But publicly they are simply afraid to say so. They are afraid it would antagonize our enemies to state so publicly. Perhaps they were afraid to admit that IDF soldiers can and will act consistent with Torah rather than against Torah as they had led many of their constituencies to believe months prior when they mobilized 300,000-800,000 Jews to protest the IDF draft..
Let me be frank. I do not support Areas A and B under full Palestinian autonomy in charge of their education etc as does MK Naftali Bennett or as he thinks is the practical approach. (why should Israel give legitimacy to a Palestinian autonomy, albeit civil one, that teaches hate filled education to exterminate the Jews as their close neighbors? In addition, how can this Palestinian civil autonomy keep Shemittah in its territory?)
I support all Jewish and non Jewish residents living in all parts of Israel, including areas A and B and C so long as they are accepting of Jewish Sovereignty as well as abide by the 7 Noahide laws.
Israel is not a racist country. Jews and Arabs alike are welcome so long as they abide by these pre-conditions.
Perhaps on this I and other right wing Nationalist do not see eye to eye with Naftali Bennett.
I can differ with some of his views and will not be afraid to disagree with him. However...
I admire Bennett's courage in stating a right wing Nationalist stand, representing the majority of the people of Israel, against a PA state, and for wearing his KIPA proudly as a proud Jew and for not being afraid to say so in front of hostile audiences..
Surely I hope he in turn would respect others like Feiglin who are proud to say we have a right to sovereignty over Har Habayit and a right to settle in areas A and B and C and not apologize to the world for saying so and acting upon it as well.
For your reference I have compiled a list of youtubes of MK's who stand strong and Naftali Bennett has many youtubes which makes me as a Jew, proud of Israel and proud of strong leadership that has put Israel in a strong and positive light among the Nations true to our Mesorah and true to Torah. For this Naftali Bennet deserves our greatest appreciation and respect.
