Combating BDS from Within: Exposing the European Government Effort to Demolish Jewish Communities

Im Tirtzu published a new report detailing the European government funding of the Israeli NGOs spearheading the efforts to demolish the Netiv Ha'avot neighborhood in Gush Etzion.

The report revealed that the two far-Left Israeli NGOs petitioning the courts against the neighborhood, "Peace Now" and "Yesh Din," have received over 47 million shekels from European governments over the past several years.

IMTI activists also joined together with the residents of Netiv Ha'avot to stage a counter-demonstration against radical Left protestors who arrived at the neighborhood to provoke the residents.

Helping Others: IMTI Activists Spread Joy to Others Ahead of Purim

When IMTI activists from Haifa University heard that an 87-year-old Holocaust survivor was living all alone in squalor in a broken-down apartment, they quickly arrived at his house to clean, wash and renovate, and even raised money to buy him new furniture.

At the same time, IMTI activists from Hebrew University have begun collecting food to be distributed on Purim as mishloach manot to patients at Hadassah Hospital.

Standing with the Residents of South Tel-Aviv: Combating the NIF-Backed Campaign of Lies

Hundreds of South Tel-Aviv residents and IMTI activists gathered to stage a counter demonstration against far-left and illegal migrant protestors who rallied against the government's planned deportation of illegal job-seeking migrants.

The influx of some 40,000 illegal migrants to South Tel-Aviv has made life unbearable for its residents who suffer from daily harassment, crime, and drugs in their neighborhood.

Despite the Supreme Court's ruling that the vast majority of migrants are economic migrants and that the third-party countries are safe, the New Israel Fund and its radical allies have launched a well-funded campaign aimed at misleading the Israeli public and undermining the policies of the government and courts.

Click here to view an infographic detailing the lies surrounding this campaign.

Our message was simple: the residents of South Tel-Aviv also deserve human rights. The time has come to deport the illegal migrants and return South Tel-Aviv to its residents.

IMTI's Youth Branch: "Breaking the Silence"- Not in Our Schools

Activists in IMTI's high school youth branch spoke at a special Knesset Education Committee session on Breaking the Silence's activity in high schools.

Our activists told the committee that there is no place in the Israeli education system for such an organization, which uses anonymous "testimonies" to slander IDF soldiers around the world.

Inspiring Legislation: Bill to Establish Day of Recognition for Pre-State Underground Groups

A new IMTI-inspired bill was submitted last week, calling to establish a national day of recognition for the members of the pre-state Jewish underground who fought to establish the State of Israel.

"Matan Peleg, Chairman of the Zionist organization Im Tirtzu that has been advocating for this national day of recognition, said that showing appreciation to those who fought in the Jewish underground is a historic and moral duty."
