Please pass on these comments to the Trump Administration and to Trump's honorable advisors David Friedman, Jason Greenblatt and Jared Kuschner!

How can we forget that the expulsion of Gush Katif happened on Tisha Baav the saddest day in the Jewish Calendar.  So while I am heartened by pictures of David Friedman and Jason Greenblatt visiting the Kotel, I am very wary of their scheduled meetings with Fatah especially in this non auspicious time frame of the three weeks commemorating the destruction of the 1st and 2nd Temple and the Sin of the Spies who brought an evil report about the Land of Israel.

We are very aware that the Sinai Accords and the Expulsion of Gush Katif happened under right wing administrations. Who was better to Israel than Menachem Begin or Ariel Sharon? Yet they succeeded to give away parts of the Land that later resulted in great detriment to both the Jewish People and non Jewish people in Israel. Rockets and infiltrations, human shields, corruption etc......  The Sinai Peninsula is now a haven for ISIS which Egypt and Israel is forced to contend with, and the Gaza Strip houses HAMAS.

Please push off these negotiations till after Tisha Baav, 3 weeks and a day from today, and in the meanwhile visit the Cave of the Patriarchs for much needed spiritual strengthening situated in our ancient Biblical Holy Heritage Site in Hebron. . 

All the best and wishing you much Blessings and Success for the Good and may the Almighty guide you in the path of Truth and Justice for the sake of Peace and Prosperity for all of humanity. May the curses of our enemies turn to Blessings as in the time of Bilaam.

This is in turn will be the best plan of action for President Trump and his administration if you believe that there is a G-d of Justice.

A Palestinian State, a Fakestinian State is based on falsehoods.  

So too is the fake news about Trump Collusion.  It seems to me that with the Trumps administration empowering Fake Palestine, there seems to be a reaction with the empowerment of Trump's enemies to push Fake news as well.  With Trump's team fighting evil in the UN, Nikki Haley being fearless thank G-d  and being critical of Fatah's continued support of Terror, this has been accompanied with a reprieve of the Fake news against Trump gaining an upper hand.

Please do not exert any pressure on Israel to expand Arab Settlement while suppressing Jewish Settlement as is the Case in Qalqiya and in Bet El. 

The Negev as well is being overtaken with illegal Bedouin construction as per Regavim updates.

The pursuit of Truth and Justice based on the Bible is the main reason for supporting Israel's entitlement of the entire land of Israel including Judea and Samaria. 

The Torah presents a concept of Ger Toshav (Resident Status for Non Jews.) The opposite of Apartheid.  All are welcome to reside in all parts of Israel so long as they accept Israel's Sovereignty and abide with Universal Morality as is dictated by the 7 Noahide Laws. Living under Israel Sovereignty in turn will be the best thing that ever happened to these Noahides... Arab or otherwise.  They will be the recipients of Education, Prosperity, and Health etc! According to the Torah, Israel is commanded to make sure that all their residents have rights protected and are not impoverished so that they may live among you.

Please do not tie Israel's hands by demilitarizing the IDF in any part of the country forcing Israel to rely on others, even allies like the US for their defense.

What Netanyahu can learn from Parashat Balak

Parashat Balak is a very special chapter in the Torah.  It is not just that it is the only Parsha  named after a foreign king, but also that almost entirely the Parsha refers to events that did not happen to Jewish people but rather to a foreign people, Moab. 

There is no unnecessary word in the Torah. The whole Torah comes to teach us the straight path. So too with Parshat Balak, which teaches us how the world sees the Jewish people.

From Balaam's "prophecies," we see three basic principles:

A. The people of Israel are governed solely by God's will. 

"לֹא-הִבִּיט אָוֶן בְּיַעֲקֹב, וְלֹא-רָאָה עָמָל בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל; יְהוָה אֱלֹהָיו עִמּוֹ, וּתְרוּעַת מֶלֶךְ בּוֹ."

 Perek 23: 21 "He does not look at evil in Jacob, and has seen no perversity in Israel; the Lord, his God, is with him, and  he has the King's friendship"

B. The people of Israel will defeat all their enemies and will endure forever thanks to God.

C. The people of Israel must take care of their own interests, and not of others.

These three principles are valid from  3300 years ago, the time of the desert,to the present day. They reflect the true status of the Jewish people in the world.

And so Netanyahu needs to respond to UNESCO, to the UN and to every head of state who tries to dictate to the Jewish people what to do and how to act:

Millions of Americans spent their childhoods watching reruns of "Leave It To Beaver," the '50s sitcom that did such a great job of showing life from the viewpoint of kids. A very brave pediatrician

A very brave pediatrician has dared to openly take a stand against the politically-correct trend of pumping drugs and hormones into children who are confused about their genders. She points out multiple ways in which transgender politics are riding roughshod over known medical facts and peer-reviewed studies, leading to a wave of "large scale child abuse."

I salute the doctor, who is not merely a highly-qualified and experienced pediatrician but the president of the American College of Pediatricians. I just fear that she might not be allowed to hold that position much longer in the current PC witch hunt climate, where institutions routinely knuckle under to whoever has the loudest media megaphone and truth is no longer a defense against alleged thought crimes.

A heartening week

This has been a heartening week for those who despair of the future and younger generations. First came a story noting that the current youngest generation is, in many ways, more conservative than their parents. And now this: a study by a University of Utah researcher found that younger Americans are less likely to cheat on their spouses than older Americans are.

Despite living in a relentlessly sexualized atmosphere filled with amoral messages from the media, the number of Americans who admit to having extramarital affairs has held steady at around 16% for many years. But starting around 2004, the number over 55 (those who lived through the so-called "Sexual Revolution") who admit cheating on their spouses began rising, while the number of adulterers below 55 began falling. In addition, the rate of teenage sex has dropped significantly since 1990. Despite all the talk of open marriages and multiple partners, the researcher predicts that "we should anticipate a future of more monogamous marriage."

The reason isn't clear, but one theory is that young people have been watching their elders and concluding that sex without limits isn't making people happier. Maybe that will go down as the best legacy of the '60s hippie, "free love" generation: that it served as a very effective bad example to America's youth.

President Trump keeps his word

Donald Trump vowed that he would not keep his presidential salary but would donate it to public works. That's another campaign promise he's keeping: he donated his first quarterly paycheck of over $78,000 toward restoring and preserving the Antietam National Battlefield in Maryland, to insure that future generations can learn about its history and meaning.

Antietam was the bloodiest one-day battle of the Civil War. Over the course of just 12 hours, 23,000 soldiers were killed, wounded or went missing as the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia's first invasion of the north was repelled, leading to Lincoln issuing the Emancipation Proclamation. At a time when a lot of people are busily removing Civil War monuments in an effort to cleanse history of political incorrectness, we need such reminders more than ever.

This is also worth remembering the next time you start to wonder if every paycheck given to a politician in Washington is a waste of tax money.

Food stamp thoughts

During the Obama Administration, the number of food stamp recipients skyrocketed, reaching record levels as work-for-welfare requirements were dropped. From 2000 to 2013, the annual cost of the federal SNAP program quadrupled to $80 billion. But now, some states are starting to require able-bodied food stamp recipients with no children either to work or to take job training.

Result: food stamp enrollment numbers in those states are plummeting. Louisiana Gov. Garrett Graves said that a program meant to help the vulnerable had become a lifestyle, encouraging people to choose government assistance over work and personal responsibility, which is a disservice both to them and the taxpayers.

Of course, there will always be claims from the left that this is cruelly taking food from the mouths of the poor. This story includes a surprise response to that: a study found that after Kansas instituted work requirements for food stamps in 2013, enrollment not only dropped by 75%, but 60% of the recipients found a job within one year. On average, their annual income rose by 127%.

To put it as succinctly as I can: Work works!
