My name is Alan Bergstein, a board member of the Boca Raton JCRC which sends representation to the JCPA convention. Each year I am the sole standout condemning all of the leftist, soft on terror, too little Israel concerns, too much social engineering proposals of the JCPA. My question to the board is why even have "Jewish" on any of the groups' designations? We are more like a Jewish funded ACLU. My suggestion is for all groups belonging to the JCPA to quit and form a truly Jewish, pro-Israel group.

The mindset of the JCPA's leadership which calls on anti-Israel speakers each year at their plenum(?) is mind boggling. This year they had CAIR supporter, Cong. Keith Ellison and last year the head of "The Rabbis for Human Rights," an anti-Israel group of leftists as well as Ruth Messinger whose group, The Jewish World Service, does nothing for Jews around the world. Instead of waging war against the Hamas in Gaza; instead of arresting and prosecuting those Israeli Arab Knesset members who, in a anti-Israeli demonstration held a few days ago in Umm- El- Fahm, openly called for the destruction of the State of Israel; the Olmert regime is busy persecuting the Jews, lovers of the Land of Israel, who live in Judea and Samaria.
Last week, Israeli "security forces" destroyed some shacks in different outposts thinking that it will deter the youth from living there. It didn't! Then, on Friday they came and tried to chase away Jews who were planning on spending Shabbat in Chomesh.Luckily, the Chomesh activists were not deterred by that either.

A few weeks ago WOMEN IN GREEN emailed the story of an eighteen year old girl from Elon Moreh who had been arrested three months ago and was still languishing in jail for her trial on trumped-up charges had not started yet. We asked you to write to her a letter of support. Tens of letters were written and given over to her in jail by a Honenu lawyer.
Her name is now known to all, Tsviya Sariel from Elon Moreh. Last week Tsviya's court case was supposed to have started. But the judge had deliberately called for the session to start very late in the afternoon. Nothing was accomplished. There were no translators in court (to translate the Arab "witnesses") and thus the judge decided to postpone the session for the week after. Tsviya had to be in jail for one more week.
Yesterday she was once again brought to court. We urge you to read the hair-raising details of the session in the release posted below by IsraelJustice.com.
To sum up what happened in court yesterday: despite the fact that the Arabs in court yesterday clearly said that Tsviya was not the girl who allegedly "attacked" them and that they were dropping all charges against her- the judge sent Tsviya for another month in jail!!!
As we said: enough is enough!

Excellent letters by Dr. Menachem Kovacs, Buddy Macy and Dr. Asher Eder. We urge all people that are members of the OU either by their Congregations affiliation or employed by the OU to publicly protest the official policy of the OU USA. We all know of the wonderful work of the OU in Kashrus and other areas and especially in the Israel Center in Jerusalem. Which serious Oleh/Olah Chadash has not taken advantage of the wonderful programming, lectures, library, concerts, trips of the Israel Center. They are the grass of the earth being there for the people of Gush Katif and the people of Sderot mamesh risking their lives under fire from Kassam's. Now is the time for them to speak up loud and clear "Ki Mitzion Tetzeh Torah Udvar Hashem MeYerushalyim", For Torah will come forth from Zion. and the word of God from Jerusalem. Rather than defer to the official policy of the OU in the USA, they must be the spokespeople for Eretz Yisroel being inclusive of Judea and Samaria and of course Jerusalem. How can we coexist with a Palestinian State when the entitlement is exclusively for Am Yisroel? (see sources below and first Rashi of Breishis)

process" are certainly not the right words) means establishing a
dangerous Islamist "Palestine" carved out of Israel, G-d forbid. Like
our holy city of Jerusalem, Yehuda and the Shomron are integral parts of
Eretz HaKodesh. We need to draw our red lines to retain Jerusalem,
Yehuda and the Shomron in order to maximize our security and to retain
the Holy Land which Hashem gave us as "an eternal inhertance".

You may add to that quote that the Koran is completely in line with the Tanakh in that regard - only the "teachings" of the Arab and Moslem establishment forge it into a pseudo-theology of Jihad against Israel.
