Temple Mount exclusive broadcast rights to Fatah-Hamas. For Zion's sake, I will.

bs'd

Dear Coordinating Council for Jerusalem  amv"sh

Is CCJER ( Coordinating Council of Jerusalem) www.ccjer.com going to join with New Jewish Congress, the Temple Mount movements and The Sanhedrin and speak out forcefully against this terrible provocation at Har Habayis.  "For Zion's sake, I will not be Silent and for Jerusalem's sake I will not be still...Isaiah 62:1)

You've spoken out before.  Please do so again.  This Coordinating Council has united for Jerusalem's sake.  Now is the Time to raise your voices before it is too late.  This past Thanksgiving, at the Agudah Convention in Stamford Connecticut, on Motzei Shabbos,  the theme was an Undivided Jerusalem.  Rav Perlow, the Noveminsker, the Rosh Agudath Yisroel spoke.  He said that he actually took a plane recently to Eretz Yisroel for the sole purpose of speaking to Rav  Eliashiv and Rav Shteinman regarding this matter.  Rav Eliashiv said clearly that he is against giving away parts of Yerushalyim. Rav Shteinman also agreed.  Rav Eliashiv told Rav Perlow that he can say so publicly in his name and with full strength (Bechol Hatokef).  Rav Eliashiv said "Will we have to ask permission of the Yishmaelim to daven at the Kosel?"  Rav Perlow asked the audience regarding the Gov't of Israel "Can we trust them with Security???" The Mayor of Jerusalem, the Honorable Uri Lupiansky then spoke.  He told the audience that we in America have great influence.  He asked us not to wait until it gets too late to speak up. He reminded us what happened when there was a riot at on Har Habayit.  They started throwing stones at the Kotel square. He said it was a miracle that no one was killed.  He said that the enemy is within.  They are the forces that wish to divide us like a piece of Salami, piece by piece and hand us to our enemies.

Israel Gov't, Police Stand by as Hamas Broadcasts from Temple Mt

11 Tevet 5768, 20 December 07 09:12
by Hillel Fendel

(<http://israelnn.com/>IsraelNN.com) More Olmert-Fatah-Hamas
collusion: Hamas has been given exclusive radio broadcast rights from
the Temple Mount this week - while Jews mourning the First Temple
siege are banned from the site.

This week is the Moslem holiday Ein ul-Adhaa, marking the Islamic
equivalent of Akeidat Yitzchak (the binding of Isaac by Abraham); the
Koran, written in the late 7th century C.E., substituted Ishmael for
Isaac.

Yesterday, as well, was the Jewish fast day of Asarah B'Tevet,
commemorating the beginning of the siege by Nebuchadnezzar on
Jerusalem over 2,500 years ago that resulted in the destruction of
the First Temple, untold thousands of deaths, and a 70-year-long
Jewish exile from the Holy Land.

"The siege of Nebuchadnezzar is recurring again in our time," said
Rabbi Chaim Richman of the Temple Institute, "this time through the
Israeli government, which is banning Jews and Christians but is
allowing Hamas, who will defile G-d in our holiest place. There is no
greater demonstration of the total spiritual bankruptcy of the
Israeli government."

He told Arutz-7 that if, alternatively, it is not the Israeli
government that is responsible, "then who are we kidding when we say
that Fatah will fight Hamas?  We see clearly that they work together,
and Fatah has just as much of an interest in broadcasting Hamas
incitement to murder Zionists as Hamas does."

"It is unbelievable that [US Secretary of State Condoleeza ] Rice and
[Foreign Minister Tzipi] Livni continue to repeat that a 'strong PA
and Palestinian state to fight terror is in the interest of Israel,'
when we see obviously that Fatah has no desire at all to fight Hamas
terrorism."

An ISDN line regularly broadcasts, over PA radio, the Islamic prayer
services from the Temple Mount. This week, however, it granted the
license to do so to Hamas - complete with Hamas Radio commercials,
station identifications, and incitement against Jews. "Whoever wants
to hear the Temple Mount services this week has to go to HamasRadio,"
says Rabbi Richman.

Rabbi Richman was astounded at the symbolism involved: "Closing the
Temple Mount to Jews all week long, including on our fast day,
because of the Moslem holiday, emphasizes that the government not
only favors Moslem sensibilities over Jewish ones, but also the
Koranic version of our history over that of the Tanach, our Bible."

ily's Aaron Klein reported that Hamas celebrated the "victory" of its
broadcasts: "Our broadcast is a victory for the Al Aqsa Mosque, which
is suffering from Judaization efforts imposed by the Zionist
government," said Rami Kaoud, a manager at Hamas' Al Aqsa Radio.
"Broadcasting daily radio is a way to bring Al Aqsa to the Gaza Strip
and challenge the siege imposed on us by the Zionist entity."

A joint statement by the New Jewish Congress, the Temple Mount
movements and The Sanhedrin states, "Not only is Hamas trying, with
the Palestinian Authority, to destroy the State of Israel and all its
[Jewish] inhabitants, but now the Government of Israel has decided to
give over the Temple Mount, the apple of the Jewish Nation's eye, for
the use of enemy incitement."

Jews demand Olmert halt Temple Mount dig

JERUSALEM - A Jewish group representing hundreds of U.S. synagogues says it is "incomprehensible" that Israel is allowing a Muslim dig on the Temple Mount and has demanded Prime Minister Ehud Olmert immediately halt the blasting of a massive trench and allow archaeologists to inspect the site.

Avi Shafran - More on why Agudath Yisroel made a statement for Yerushalayim

Rabbi Shafran writes:

< Eretz Yisrael is the land not of any particular temporal government but of the Jewish People. >

I agree completely.

< Jews who are fortunate to live on the Jewish Land's holy soil are the brothers and sisters of Jews everywhere else. To suggest that any Jew or Jewish group does not have a right – or anything less than a responsibility – to speak up when an Israeli government seems poised to do something objectionable or dangerous is to deny the bond of Jews to both their ancestral homeland and to other Jews.>

I agree as well. The Jew is bound to their ancestral Homeland whether or not he/she resides in the Land and has the obligation to protect the Land and Settle the Land and keep the Mitzvoth in the Land just as much as his brother/sister that actually lives in the Land of Israel.

<Theoretically – and here Agudath Israel may part company with some other Orthodox groups – we could even countenance a non-Jewish flag flying over the city's walls, if it meant true safety, security and freedom of worship for the Holy Land's Jewish residents. Needless to say, though, such a scenario is nowhere in sight.>

In all due respect, there is a lack of understanding of the role of Am Yisroel in Eretz Yisroel.  Our purpose and raison D-etres is to be a Mamlechet Kohanim VeGoy Kadosh.  A Kingdom of Priests.  This means that we are the Sovereign Nation and others follow our lead.  There is no way we can be a Kingdom of Priests in a live and let live society. What kind of King lives as he wishes and the rest of the people live as they wishes.  The King sets the tone. Our purpose is not to be coercive of all the other nations but rather to be their Priest.  We in turn are servants to Hashem.  The other nations will look to us for guidance as we look to our Kohanim. When we learn about the Avodah in the Beis Hamikdash, we do not say it's not fair that only they get to enter the Sanctuary.  We do not say that it's not fair that only the High Priest can enter the H-ly of H-lies. The opposite.  We recognize that the H-ly service must be done just so.  It is not for everyone.  Yet everyone can learn from how it was conducted and apply it to their daily lives. Every detail is so educational that can be applied to the way we conduct our own lives and the lives of our own families and society.

If we have a strong desire to keep the Mitzvoth Teluyot Baaretz knowing that only through keeping these mitzvoth will Hashem bless our nation with security we would simply tell the world that only Am Yisroel has the mandate to keep the Mitzvoth and for this we need the Land of Israel.  Reciprocity is totally not in the picture as you suggest. Will a democratic peaceful Goyish State keep Shemittah?  Will they do Lequet shikcha and Peah on the non shemittah years? What about Teruma, Maaser and Bikurim?

Only Am Yisroel can bring forth the Kedusha and this holiness will then encompass all of humanity.

As for G-d building the Beit Hamikdash let me suggest the following.  When a person does a Mitzvah like giving Terumah to the Kohein, he does not give a direct present to the Kohein.  He gives it to Hashem.  The Kohein, benefits from the Mitzva to Hashem and not directly from his fellow Jew.  If the motivation for giving is off or if the motivation for receiving is faulty, like if the Kohein feels he owes the giver  or if the giver feels that the Kohein owes him anything, then the Mitzvah was not given or received properly.

Now I will address the other point which states that Hashem Himself will build the 3rd Beit Hamikdash. (I would appreciate the source for the statement, if anyone knows it.)  A possible explanation is that  in the 3rd Beit Hamikdash the way it gets built is totally leshaim Shamayim with no aspirations of personal gain or honor, prestige or money.  Just like we teach our children.  Brick by brick of Mitzvoth. It will be a complete Avodas Kodesh. The end result is that it will be built purely from Mitzva gifts from Am Yisroel and from the Nations of the World.  Moshiach is ready to come today.  However, we must show Him that we truly want Eretz Yisroel and we strongly desire to keep Hashem's Mitzvoth and keep the H-ly Torah.  Now Moshiach is in exile.  He sees that after 2,000 years Hashem has performed miracle after miracle, and continues to do so in Sederot.  Yet Bush speaks of a Two State Solution and we are Silent. If we give away Eretz Yisroel then is there anyway to keep the Mitzvoth of the Land? Can one light a candle if there is no candle?

The correct and only way to fight anti-Semitism.

bs"d

Anti-Semitism is created when there is a void.  Allow me to identify that void.

That void is Asserting and Protecting our Identity as Jews. When one fails to assert or protect their identity properly, one becomes an easy target for identity theft.

The Palestinians, have recognized this void and have taken the golden opportunity to steal our identity. They claim that Israel is occupying their Land promised by Allah. It is their Land exclusively.  It is a holy War, Jihad to destroy the Jews.

We are G-d's chosen people, chosen to keep His commandments and to live in the Land of Israel where the Commandments can best reach their potential.  Through keeping the commandments of the H-ly Torah,  we become a vessel to receive all of G-d's blessings.  The nations of the world will be blessed since we are the conduit of blessings to mankind.

Therefore, the leaders of our generation, the Rabbis of our generation, must not be afraid to state openly that the Land of Israel is the inheritance of the Nation of Israel exclusively.  The entire world belongs to the Creator of the World. The Nation of Israel by keeping the commandments of the Torah in the Land of Israel,  will infuse the entire Land and subsequently the entire world with holiness.  Failure to do so results in a void, in a chillul Hashem which is the meaning of anti-Semitism.  (anti shem which refers to a nullification of G-d's name).  We fool ourselves in believing that we can fight anti-Semitism in any other way other than to assert our true identity.  Our identity and purpose and mission is defined in the Bible and spelled out in the Covenant between G-d and Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and to their seed.  It is an everlasting Covenant for all generations.

Malcolm Hoenein and his organization the Conference of Presidents, are excellent in tracking anti-Semitism throughout the world.  Unfortunately, they are blind to the fact that a Two State Solution, the Roadmap Plan following in the footsteps of Camp David and Oslo is the actual CAUSE of anti-Semitism..  Malcolm Hoenlein said that Oslo is an agreement that can not revoked.  Yet any agreement is null and void if its foundation is based on a false premise.  G-d's Torah on the other hand can never be revoked.

As I mentioned, Malcolm Hoenlein and the Conference of Presidents do a wonderful job tracking all the incidents of anti-Semitism throughout the world.  Over the past few years they themselves recognize a significant increase in the rise of anti-Semitism.

Simultaneously, Malcolm Hoenlein and many of the Jewish organizations he represents, actively engage in activity that promotes and gives rise and perpetuates anti-Semitism! You are shocked no doubt!  What is their specific activity that has brought a rise anti-Semitism? The answer is that they are actively engaged in negotiating the rights to the Land of Israel away to our enemies. This is in direct conflict with G-d's Covenant.  G-d clearly gives exclusive rights to the Land of Israel to the Nation of Israel. The borders are clearly delineated. Malcolm Hoenlein may give the impression that this is a racist concept in today's modern world.  The Jews are above racism  he will argue.  Us Jews do not act like our enemies. We do not stoop to their level.  We treat all of humanity equally and humanely so we will give our Palestinian neighbors a fair share as long as there is reciprocity.  Mr. Hoenlein, that is not what the Torah says.  The Torah says that the borders of Israel are exclusively for the Nation of Israel. .  The borders of Israel are clearly delineated in the Torah. The Torah is real and relevant and Malcolm Hoenlein's perception is not real or relevant even though he will convince others to believe that he knows how we must face and how to deal in the "real" world and work with reality.  He will portray our position as being against progress for true and everlasting peace and goodwill with our neighbors.

So I beseech my dear Friends to call upon Malcolm Hoenlein and specifically JMINTHEAM nachum@wfmu.org , and all the wonderful Young Israels under the leadership of Rabbi Pesach Lerner  plerner@youngisrael.org such as the Young Israel of Midwood, Rabbi Shulman rabbi@yimidwood.org and the Young Israel of the West Side, Rabbi Dovid Cohen cohen.dovid@gmail.com who so proudly hosts Malcolm Hoenlein (see this coming Shabbos  Scholar in Residence December 21st) to look inward.  Why can't they see that they too are giving Malcolm Hoenlein a forum to promote the Two State Solution, Roadmap Plan. True you may argue that Malcolm Hoenlein promotes an undivided Jerusalem and is promoting the United Coalition for an Undivided Jerusalem including all of the mainstream Jewish organizations under this banner.  To this argument let me bring a Mishneh in Yuma Perek Gimel Mishneh Aleph.  Translation is Artscroll Mishneh Series.

Here,  the Mishneh returns to the original topic of the tractate which is the order of the Yom Kippur Service.

1.The administrator said to them [to the assembled Kohanim]; 'Go out and see, if the time for slaughtering has arrived.'  If it had arrived, the one who sees [it] says 'Barkai.'  Mattisya ben Shmuel says[He was the administrator of the lots, as mentioned in Shekalim 5:1;]; 'The whole of the east has lit up.' "As far as Hebron" and he says, 'Yes!'

2.Why was this necessary?  Because one time the moon's light rose and they thought that the east had lit up, so they slaughtered the daily sacrifice, and then [had to] take it out to the place of burning.

There was a specially designated viewing station in the Temple where an observer went up to see whether day had dawned. In the Temple service, any slaughter performed at night is invalid, Day is reckoned from dawn - i.e. when the first shimmer of light is observed on the eastern horizon. The people in the Temple asked the observer "As far as Hebron?" i.e. Did you see the sky lit up as far as Hebron?' (Rambam, Rav)  Yerushalmi (2:1) says that they mentioned Hebron in order to allude to the merit of the Patriarchs who were buried there.

When I read these Mishnayos it made me so happy to see that the slaughtering of the sacrifices in the temple could not begin until the sky lit up as far as Hebron.  In fact once there was a mistake and the light of the moon was mistaken for light of daybreak and they slaughtered too early and it was invalid and had to be thrown away and burnt.  It came to mind that we too can mistake the light of Galus (exile, night) for the real morning light and our sacrifices will be for naught.  For the real thing we need to see till Hebron.

So when we speak of an undivided Jerusalem, for real service of the Temple, we must speak of an undivided Jerusalem extending till Hebron.  Of course if we are merely speaking about a museum representing Jerusalem, Hebron is not that important. We are not striving to restore Jerusalem to the way it was but merely as a zecher LeChurban.  A remembrance.

Once there was a beautiful house of charity.  They had parties for combating Lung Cancer, and the Heart Association and Special Olympics and Meir Panim and Multiple Sclerosis to name a few.  They sent relief to all natural disasters all over the world.

There was a homeless beggar outside this house that was clearly criminal.  The owner of the house fed him and let him in the house on those cold nights.  After all he liked the reputation of being charitable and was going to show the world that he was not cruel or inhumane to let that poor beggar suffer outside.  So he let the beggar into the basement. After a while the beggar trashed the basement.  The owner tried to explain to him that he took him off the streets and it wasn't nice of the beggar to trash the basement.  The beggar seemed indifferent and grew stronger day by day from the good food and shelter.  The beggar told him it's not fair that he, the owner,  has this beautiful house and that the beggar was only stuck in the basement.  The beggar demanded the upstairs as well. The beggar brought lots of friends into the house now.  The owner was intimidated.  He tried to negotiate with the new guests.  He told them that he absolutely refuses to give them the kitchen. In this kitchen they had prepared the most beautiful parties for all these charitable causes.  A fight broke out between the beggar and his "friends".  Some felt that the previous occupier of the house should have absolutely no rights to the kitchen.  The others argued  that of course they would never allow the previous occupier to cook in the kitchen but they would agree to letting them have some access. In basic principle the interlopers agreed.  The former occupier had to eventually leave.  Allowing the museum of the kitchen was simply a tactic to easily take over the upstairs.  Temporarily they would allow him to have a museum of the kitchen. It would give him the allusion of being in control.  Cooking of course is out of the question. Of course after they take over the entire upstairs, they'll have an easier time to get rid of the occupiers from kitchen as well.

By now I hope you have seen the analogy.  Where did the owner go wrong?  He should have banished the criminal beggar at the very start from coming in close proximity to his beautiful house.  He should have scared the heck out of him and if that didn't work should have gone one step further.  The house was a place of charity and peace.  By bringing in the criminal beggar he put the prosperity and peace of his house in danger.  Not only that, he let down and actually abandoned all the worthy organizations that can no longer be helped by this wonderful house.   He refused to assert his rightful ownership of his house and as a result, due to his own self righteousness and other vices destroyed all that he had. and ruined the goodness that he was capable of providing and actually did provide.

The following was sent to me by Evelyn Haies.  Anti-Semitism is reaching new heights especially in France.
Sent: Sunday, December 16, 2007 8:43 AM.  What is our proper response.  Shall we negotiate with the beggar criminal and cohorts?  Or shall we proudly proclaim our identity as Jews and the rights to the Land.  Lemaan Zion lo Echesheh!

Friends and Family,

I received this post from a friend in NY. One of his friends is living in
France and posted this to him with the request that Andy distribute it to
his American friends.

Andy prefaces with: "Once again, the real news in France is conveniently
not being reported as it should. To give you an idea of what's going on in
France where there are now between 5 and 6 million Muslims and about
600,000 Jews, here is an email that came from a Jew living in France.
Please read!"

"Will the world say nothing - again - as it did in Hitler's time? He
writes, "I AM A JEW -- therefore I am forwarding this to everyone on all my
e-mail lists. I will not sit back and do nothing." Nowhere have the flames
of anti-Semitism burned more furiously than in France: In Lyon, a car was
rammed into a synagogue and set on fire. In Montpellier, the Jewish
religious center was firebombed; so were synagogues in Strasbourg and
Marseilles; so was a Jewish school in Creteil - all recently. A Jewish
sports club in Toulouse was attacked with Molotov cocktails, and on the
statue of Alfred Dreyfus in Paris, the words "Dirty Jew" were painted. In
Bondy, 15 men beat up members of a Jewish football team with sticks and
metal bars. The bus that takes Jewish children to school in Aubervilliers
has been attacked three times in the last 14 months.

"According to the Police, metropolitan Paris has seen 10 to 12 anti-Jewish
incidents PER DAY in the past 30 days. Walls in Jewish neighborhoods have
been defaced with slogans proclaiming "Jews to the gas chambers" and "Death
to the Jews." A gunman opened fire on a kosher butcher's shop (and, of
course, the butcher) in Toulouse, France; a Jewish couple in their 20s were
beaten up by five men in Villeurbanne, France The woman was pregnant; a
Jewish school was broken into and vandalized in Sarcelles, France. This was
ju st in the past week.

"So I call on you, whether you are a fellow Jew, a friend, or merely a
person with the capacity and desire to distinguish decency from depravity,
to do, at least, these three simple things:

"First, care enough to stay informed. Don't ever let yourself become
deluded into thinking that this is not your fight. I remind you of what
Pastor Neimoller said in World War II: "First they came for the Communists,
and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the
Jews, and I didn't speak up, because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the
Catholics, and I didn't speak up, because I was a Protestant. Then they
came for me, and by that time there was no one left to speak up for me".

Second, boycott France and French products. Only the Arab countries are
more toxically anti-Semit ic and, unlike the m, France exports more than
just oil and hatred. So boycott their wines and their perfumes. Boycott
their clothes and their foodstuff s. Boycott their movies. Definitely
boycott their shores. If we are resolved we can exert amazing pressure and,
whatever else we may know about the French, we most certainly know that
they are like a cobweb in a hurricane in the face of well-directed pressure.

Third, send this along to your family, your friends, and your co-workers.
Think of all of the people of good conscience that you know and let them
know that you and the people that you care about need their help.
The number one best selling book in France is...."September 11: The
Frightening Fraud," which argues that no plane ever hit the Pentagon

Re: Results of Annapolis agreement - Yesha relinquishing weapons

In a message dated 12/6/2007 12:03:24 A.M. Eastern Standard Time, israelkaplan@yahoo.com writes:
We are watching the early stages of the abandonment of Judea & Samaria.     The Jews from Gaza would not submit to the Arab terror and would not leave their homes with promises of compensation packages.  Shortly prior to the expulsion the army was instructed to remove all protective weapons belonging to Jewish civilians so that they would feel vulnerably weaker and leave Gush Katif willingly.   They did not leave so willingly so the Israeli govt. were forced to remove them in the end.   This latest development comes as no surprise and so it remains to be seen how many of our North American Jewish organizations will support the Olmert government when a new round of Judenrein begins in the month ahead.    The majority of the North American Jewish organizations agreed with the Sharon government that leaving Gaza was a good move for Israel.   They convinced North American Jewry that once we provide Arabs with full Gaza ownership it would be like it has never been before.   Many of us here in Toronto pleaded with our organizations, not to let it happen but to no avail and now look and see the results.   Well here we are again amputating another limb while Am Yisrael sits on the sidelines and watches helplessly.   Removing protective life saving firearm equipment from the Jews of Judea & Samaria and releasing terrorists is out and out murder and anyone who remains silent is guilty of standing by while his brothers blood.

Judea and Samaria: IDF Rounding Up Jews' Weapons

26 Kislev 5768, 06 December 07 06:38
by Gil Ronen
(IsraelNN.com) The IDF is conducting a large scale operation to confiscate weapons from the Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria, according to Channel 10 TV. The purpose of the operation is described as "putting the settlers' gun permits in order." The security coordinators of the communities in Samaria have been summoned to a meeting with IDF officers Thursday; community leaders are convinced that the IDF intends to collect many of the weapons in the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.
Hillel Reinus of Yitzhar said: "I have no idea who is giving the order, it seems to be coming from up high, but they've decided to take the weapons away from everybody." Another resident of the community, Igal Amitai, added, "They are abandoning citizens, it is an irresponsibile act, but everything pales compared to reality."
'This amounts to making the settlers fair game'
MK Aryeh Eldad (NU/NRP) wrote a letter to Defense Minister Ehud Barak following the report: "Army representatives have recently informed the military security coordinators that they intend to collect most of the weapons which the residents of Judea and Samaria use for self-defense," he wrote.
"When a move such as this is made along with the release of hundreds of terrorists; the deployment of Palestinian policemen in Shechem (three of whom were involved in the murder of Ido Zoldan) and the arming of these policemen with weapons, ammunition and armored personnel carriers, this amounts to making the settlers fair game and sending the terror organizations a clear message that they may murder Jews," Eldad added.
"When all this is done against the backdrop of your announcement that you are joining the 'expulsion/compensation' plan, this amounts to blackmail. You are trying to encourage Jews to run away from Judea and Samaria and in order to prod them along you are taking away their weapons and urging terrorists to attack them," he wrote.
"With this letter," Eldad concluded, "I wish to inform you that the settlers of Judea and Samaria will hold you personally responsible for any casualties among the Jews in Judea and Samaria from now on, unless you immediately put an end to the process of collecting the settlers' weapons."

We must make a statement comparing the situation Yesha finds itself with the 13 colonies.  Taxation w/o representation  but hundreds of times worse.  Yesha has not only the right but the obligation of freedom of religion to defend themselves.  Let us start an open discussion about an independent Yesha Authority!  The struggle of Gush Katif to go unarmed was a proven disaster.  As Churchill so correctly said "If you want peace prepare for war" and we see that Yaakov Avinu acted accordingly as well.  Yesha must prepare to fight any aggression be it Kassam or Yassam.  We must fight this decree tooth and nail and threaten to cede if implemented. There must be a mass refusal by Yesha residents to relinquish their weapons.  There must be a massive outcry of support for the residents of Yesha from the Diaspora as well.  Yesha is not expendable and not suicidal!

Clarification. Evangelical Leaders Reiterate Call for Two-State Solution

bs"d

The last email/post was written in a rush.  I will now explain my concerns in greater detail.

Over 80 educators and ministry heads affirm efforts to negotiate lasting peace, and warn of consequences of failure.

80 Evangelical Christian Leaders have united to make a statement in support of the Peace Process and the formation of a Palestinian State.  They claim to have full authority of the scriptures.   What basis from scriptures supports the formation of a State of Palestine?

The following is a partial list of references in the Hebrew Scriptures that shows precisely the opposite.
The Almighty explicitly promises the Land of Israel to Abraham Isaac and Jacob and to their seed for an everlasting inheritance.

Genesis 13:15-18 ; 17:8 (G-d to Avrom - promise of Land to Avraham - new name and reiteration of promise of land)

The Covenant with Abraham is Genesis 15:18-21. (extended boundaries, from the River of Egypt to the Eurphrates River, covers boundaries of 10 nations, including all of Judea and Samaria plus lots more)

The Covenant to Isaac Genesis 26:2-6.

The Covenant of Jacob is in Genesis  28:13-16.

Exodus 6:4,8 (G-d to Moses - reminder of promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob)

Numbers 33:53; 34:13 (G-d to Moses - Biblical Boundaries of the Land of Israel, which includes Judea and Samaria)

Isaiah 11:12; 49:12; 51:11 (Ingathering of exiles; return to Zion)

Amos 9:14,15 (Return from captivity - plant on to the land - never again to be uprooted)

Ezekiel 36:24, 36; 37:21( Gathering from all the lands to your own soil)

These ministers are not quoting Scriptures at all!  They base support of their statement on the following

The Bible clearly teaches that God longs for justice and peace for all people. We believe that the principles about justice taught so powerfully by the Hebrew prophets apply to all nations, including the United States, Israel, and the Palestinians. Therefore we are compelled to work for a fair, negotiated solution for both Israelis and Palestinians. We resolve to work diligently for a secure, enduring peace and a flourishing economy for the democratic State of Israel. We also resolve to work for a viable permanent, democratic Palestinian State with a flourishing economy that offers economic opportunity to all its people. We believe that the way forward is for the Israelis and Palestinians to negotiate a fair, two-state solution.

They base their reasons not on the scriptures but on the fact that the Palestinians are poor and therefore will gravitate to a more radical solution.  That is appeasement.  If a homeless person who is clearly criminal is outside should I offer  him my home, keys and everything because if not he might gravitate to a more radical violent approach?  That's ridiculous!  This homeless person has already shown that he is criminal.  That is why we fear that he may become even more violent. What is the best way to respond to this homeless thief.   I would make sure he leaves the vicinity of my home as fast as possible and do what I must to ensure that he does not come back.   I do what I must to protect my family and the beautiful home of peace and serenity and good and justice that I have worked so hard to create.  Because if I don't protect my home and give him control of my home,  he will see to it that all the good and justice and peace and serenity is destroyed.

This "mean" approach dear friends is what results in true peace and justice from the Hebrew Scriptures.
