Women in Green, Nadia and Yehudit as well as the Chavrei Knesset have shown the importance of Sur Mera Veaseh Tov.  Remove the bad and do good.  It is not enough to take away the accepted 2 State Solution paradigm from the table.  We must come up with a right wing alternative solution. The void must be filled by the right and not the left since the left's solution will lead to catastrophe G-d forbid. 

I have taken this discussion one step further and addressed how to gradually turn Israel into a Jewish State based on Torah and Mitzvoth. It is truly a revolutionary idea and one that will be met with much opposition and fear of the unknown and fear of religious coercion.  Actually the idea of a Hebraic State is one that has been addressed by many Non Jews over the centuries and is truly worthy of discussion and brainstorming.  In these posts of 2010,  I propose establishing a prototype govt within Judea and Samaria and call it a  Yesha Autonomy, either annexed or separate from Israel, governed independently with their own independent governance similar to the independent civilian governance of the Palestinians in Areas A and B right now.  Government will be based on Hebraic Law rather than the existing hodge podge of British and Turkish law.  When successful it could be incorporated into larger communities within Israel who  recognize it's value and wish to give it a try as well.

    A 10-minute video of yesterday's demolitions in Ma'ale Rehavam mirrors the return of the expulsion from Gush Katif and Amona, again sent to destroy Jewish homes.  This time sent by right-wing politicians like Netanyahu and Lieberman who once sat in opposition and shouted: "We will not let it happen.  It never will be under our administration".  And now that they are in power, and they are the wolf wearing sheep's clothing and their promises flying away like the dust in the wind.

We must exert, exert and exert ourselves so that everyone knows that Jewish homes in Eretz Yisroel were demolished and that we will build again!"

    In another of Women in Green's Sovereignty Conferences MK Yariv Levin
    laid out his idea – how to promote the application of Israeli
    sovereignty in Judea and Samaria.

    This past  Tuesday, May 13th,  a conference of Women in Green was held
    in the community of Hashmonaim for the application of Israeli
    sovereignty in Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley.

    The event opened with greetings from the heads of the Women in Green
    movement, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, who emphasized the
    obligation of the Israeli Right to present a proper and realistic
    political alternative, and not to be satisfied with rejecting the
    Left's vision of establishing a Palestinian state in the heart of the
    Land of Israel.

    Both women noted that during the 46 years since the Six Day War the
    Right was not decisive in presenting a clear vision and in the absence
    of this clear vision, a window was opened for Palestinian hopes to
    establish a new state.

    After the two women, rabbi of the community Rabbi Itamar Orbach spoke,
    welcoming the heads of Women in Green, the demographer Ettinger and MK
    Levin, who were the key guests of the conference. He then noted the
    importance of this day, the fourteenth of Iyar, Pesach Sheni, in which
    the spirit of redemption that began with the exodus from Egypt on the
    fourteenth of Nisan, arises again. Rabbi Orbach also mentioned that
    since it was the place where the Kingdom of Israel arose again after
    the War of Judah Maccabee and his brothers, it is a suitable place for
    the conference whose objective is to strengthen and renew the Kingdom
    of Israel.

    MK Yariv Levin, who not long ago was head of the coalition and will
    shortly be head of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, stated
    that the vision of sovereignty is indeed a vision that entails
    difficulties but will succeed in the end.

    MK Levin focused his speech on the proper ways in which to put the
    idea of sovereignty into action, step by step. In the beginning of his
    speech he stated that indeed this is a long term and difficult task to
    carry out but "every such process begins with conferences such as
    these to acclimate people to the idea.

    We cannot expect that after so many years when they conditioned us and
    are still conditioning us to think in certain ways, suddenly one day
    the public will get up and find itself promoting a different way."

    MK Levin mentioned what he defined as the "peace process industry", in
    which so many resources and funds have been invested but the more that
    is done for it, the less this industry has achieved.

    "The basic thing is a change of consciousness. We must first of all
    look at things and leave behind the slogans of 'land for peace' and
    'two states for two people'. The two state solution is no solution and
    would not end in two states. We must begin thinking and speaking in
    different concepts. To present an objective that we will work toward",
    according to Levin, who states that along with the conferences whose
    purpose is to influence public opinion about the political change, we
    must act in the judicial sphere. "We must lead this process by
    judicial means", says Levin and clarifies that it is a gradual process
    in which members of Knesset would take legislative steps, even if they
    are partial, and only if they can promote the larger process that will
    take place when the time comes.

    As an example, MK Levin presented the Referendum Law that passed the
    second and third with the coalition's agreement readings only
    recently, while the process was begun back in '99 when it was
    determined then that a referendum must be held for any withdrawal of
    sovereign territory, but the law was qualified that it would be
    applied after it would be determined how a referendum is to be carried
    out. At a later phase, in 2010, Levin himself brought to the
    legislature a law to define the methods of carrying out a referendum
    and with this, the law that had been shelved became enacted in
    practice.

    Levin mentioned that until a few months ago MK Livni and Lapid
    expressed opposition to the law, opposition that led some journalists
    to think that this would be the death of the law, but despite that,
    Levin was able to bring the law to completion with the support of
    Minister Peretz and MK Mitzna. "It is possible and it takes a lot of
    time. It must be done in measured steps and the ground and
    infrastructure must be prepared so that when it becomes politically
    feasible we will know how to avail ourselves of the opportunity, "and
    thus Levin explained the main lesson of the Referendum Law.

    In this spirit Levin remarked that a number of proposals exist for
    gradual promotion of the idea of sovereignty – sovereignty in the
    Jordan Valley, expanding the boundaries of Jerusalem, connecting
    Jerusalem with Ma'ale Adumim, sovereignty over the communities and the
    roads that lead to them and more. Levin expresses support for these
    processes but cautions against a proposal that is based on the concept
    of blocs of settlement because according to him this process may
    result in disaster for a significant number of the communities. "The
    temptation to upgrade certain communities might result in the loss of
    others", says Levin.

    Levin adds that the objective is indeed full sovereignty over the
    entire territory but until then it is possible to promote the
    necessary legislation in phases one of which would be civil
    legislation that will bring equality between the residents of Judea
    and Samaria and the rest of the citizens in totally civilian spheres
    such as issues of health, order and sanitation and others, details
    that are today carried out by the orders of a general.

    He also mentions the laws of planning and building that today prevent
    the authorities in Yosh (Hebrew acronym for Judea and Samaria) from
    establishing a planning committee, which is the accepted method in
    every other area of Israel. Legislative steps must be taken in this
    matter as well and they will have additional value in the civil public
    consciousness toward the areas of Judea and Samaria.

    In addition to all of this MK Levin remarked that these steps will
    become possible only if practical action occurs to make the necessary
    changes in the judicial system. Levin states that "We can no longer
    accept the present reality in which the High Court, which represents a
    radical leftist minority, perpetuates itself, dictates its values and
    dictates its positions to us in many spheres and does this not only by
    judicial fiat of the High Court but also because governmental systems
    behave in impotent and biased ways that are difficult for us to deal
    with."

    According to him, such a change in the judicial system is "essential
    and will enable us to take steps on the way to the application of
    sovereignty". Levin mentions that "there are orders and regulations
    that can be carried out but these systems absolutely prevent their
    implementation. Along with the important battle in the area of hasbara
    (Israel advocacy) and legislation we must stress the required change
    in the judicial system".

    Note that the conference, in which more than a hundred and fifty
    people participated from Hashmonaim and surrounding communities, took
    place in cooperation with the new movement being established,  "Am
    Chazak"('A Strong People') . The event took place under the influence
    of the disturbing consciousness that the speakers and those present
    had regarding the civil administration's intention to carry out the
    destruction of buildings in three communities in Judea and Samaria by
    the end of the week. The heads of Women in Green, Yehudit Katsover and
    Nadia Matar, see the vision of sovereignty as an inclusive answer to
    such destructive steps, "We cannot run to every outpost and to every
    agricultural area built on state land. In order for the Arabs not to
    take over, we need a general, realistic and structured solution, which
    is the vision of Israeli sovereignty over the entire area", say the
    two women.

    It doesn't end with Settler home demolition. It ends with an International libel of Jews and portrayal of the settlers as terrorists, violent criminals and anarchists who defy law and order.  

    Surely, the founding fathers of America would be calling these immoral acts of property destruction "Intolerable Acts!" As you know from American History they formed armed militias.   Of course I am not suggesting anything, but alleged graffitti and tire slashing by alleged Jewish Settler Youth, is minor in comparison. Please note as well that  we have yet to see evidence and it has yet to be confirmed that indeed the perpetrators are Jewish settler youth since there has been no fair trial and conviction,  . 

     
     I suppose the Founding Fathers of America in their day must have also been called not such nice names....

    Rabbanim, what does the Torah and Halacha say about this?  Why are you so silent?  Why hold Tehillim Rallies after the fact with the mantra "we share in their pain".  How can this be dismissed as "politics"? If you can mobilize hundreds of thousands of Jews to protest the drafting of  Chareidi Youth to defend the country, surely you can do equally as well to take a stand FOR Eretz Yisroel.  Is this not Torah to take a stand that Yehuda and the Shomron is our ancient Jewish Homeland???? Har Habayit, the Kotel, Har Zion and Kever Dovid Hamelech, Har Hazeisim, Hebron and Maarat Hamchpela, Kever Rachel Imeinu and Kever Yosef are all in areas liberated in 1967.  If these Hills in Judea and Samaria not ours then how can we claim all the Mekomos Hakedoshim?   The Lubavicher Rebbe said that  Protest falls squarely on the shoulders of the Rabbis! http://shemittahrediscovered.blogspot.com/2012/03/lubavitcher-rebbe-protest-falls.html

    Let me suggest that perhaps all this emphasis on "price tag" attacks is simply the preparation necessary for the marginalization, demonization and demoralization of the settlers to then justify 20 percent deportation of Settlers from Judea and Samaria.

    Home Demolitions lead to alleged "price tag" vandalism (graffiti) and to alleged tire slashing and provokes what most would consider a reasonable angry settler response to a home being demolished for not having the required permits. 

    Camera's standby to film the settlers and/or youth in the most negative light. The Settlers and their youth are depicted as no better than terrorists, and they are slandered and libeled. Some of the terms used against them include "price tag" anarchists, "Neo Nazi's", "terrorists" etc. 

    This in turn leads to condemnation by all segments of society including fellow settlers who want to distance themselves so as not to be labeled as violent or extreme as well. The Media and some MK's label any anti Arab graffitti as "price tag" attacks which by definition puts the blame no matter where it happens, on hilltop youth.  

    This then apparently justifies placing settlers and the hilltop youth under "administration detention"  for these alleged "acts of terror" for which noone can actually prove that they committed.  They are guilty until proven innocent in spite of the fact that Palestinian "eyewitnesses" often lie.  These lies are reported as fact and not thoroughly investigated and the settlers and their youth are libeled as terror organizations.  

     Then America, Obama-Kerry State Department urges targeting price taggers, not terrorists!

    Then the PA asks the world to recognize "hilltop" youth as terrorists.

     Then making international headlines,  Pope Francis before his upcoming visit to Israel says that "price tag" Jewish attacks on Churches are poison.  Where is there any conclusive evidence or is it all part of a fabrication to libel Jews? 

     Then Israel becomes weak afraid to defend itself because they too don't want to be demonized, demoralized and marginalized in International media.  So they act macho and demolish more homes in Judea and Samaria and order their soldiers to restrain themselves when provoked by Arabs empowered by Israel hating NGO's.  It's a viscious cycle.

    But many are seeing through this facade!

    When Jews are attacked, stoned, murdered and IDF soldiers provoked etc and the IDF ignores it and puts it second in the news after the "price tag" graffitti items, it looks bad and the cat is out of the bag.   

    Family members were very upset at the lack of response to Shelly Dadon's murder hy"d for example.  

    Why are there constant unreported attacks on Har HaTzofim? 

    In Flatbush, there was an urgent breakfast inviting the entire community to raise awareness as to the  lack of security and access to Har HAzeitim.  

    Youtubes of Chareidi children threatened on Har Habayit was frightening.  

    Tens of thousands of angry IDF soldiers are displaying grassroots support for IDF soldier, "David the Nachlawi", who may go to jail following a premeditated Arab instigation.

    What is the root of our weakness?  

    In conversations with Shmuel Koenig a fellow activist and lobbyist for Rabbanim to speak out for our Biblical Heritage,  the following important observations were made. He in turn mentioned them to Rabbi Menachem Lubinsky who recently organized the urgent breakfast for the Preservation of Har HaZeitim together with Rav Perlow, Rosh Moetzet Gedolei Hatorah and Malcolm Hoenlein in Flatbush, Brooklyn, NY. 

    The secular Zionist puts too much emphasis on the establishment of the State of Israel and not enough on our ancient Jewish Heritage going back thousands of years.  

    The Torah world  does not emphasize Eretz Yisroel as being fundamental to our Jewish Heritage and that Eretz Yisroel is the Eternal Covenant between Hashem and the Nation of Israel exclusively.

    We need to proclaim our entitlement based on the Torah to the entire world and speak out against the lies and false claims of Jews being "occupiers"  

    We are not a racist people and all peoples are accepted to live in Israel as long as they accept Israel's Sovereignty and the 7 Noahide Laws.  We are interested in full human rights and the well being for all the residents of Israel and hope and pray for peace and prosperity for the entire world. 

    Let me add that even within the Jewish Nation, there are distinctions between different tribes and not all tribes are equal.  The Tribe of Judah is designated for Kingship and the Tribe of Levi for being G-d's inheritance and they do not inherit the Land.  Only the Kohanim can enter the Holy section in the Temple and only the High Priest in the Holy of Holies.  Not even the King can enter into locations designated for Priests.  This is not considered racist at all but beneficial to all.

    Let me commend you for a fabulous initiative to promote Jewish Sovereignty over the entire Land of Israel.  I am sending this email to my list of Activists, Media, Rabbis and Politician within Israel and America asking them to support your wonderful work. 

    Dear Rabbi's, Knesset Members, Media personnel, Educators, Political Science professionals, Economists, Security professionals, Friends and Fellow Lovers of the Land of Israel:

    Nadia Matar and Yehudit Katsover are two courageous women behind the lively and Yes We Can group also known as Women in Green.  They have just come out with their third Sovereignty Newspaper, an aggregate of articles from well known, respected, educated MK's, Rabbi's, Politicians, Economists, Security Experts,  Academics and Activists.  This group all share a common denominator.  A love of the Land of Israel and recognition of our deep rooted Biblical, Historical connection to our ancient Homeland.   There is a lively debate which all of us can contribute, as per how to deal with the Arab population within Judea and Samaria awarding those who accept Jewish Sovereignty in the Land of Israel, their full G-d given human rights, their rights to live with freedom, dignity, peace and prosperity in the Land of Israel and a lively debate as per their civilian rights ( their rights as citizens to be determined and not necessarily equal) as is the case in Puerto Rico and other countries like the United States who do not award all their residents equal civilian rights. 

    Please pass it along to all your friends and neighbors who love Israel and please support their efforts.  I am very confident that all discussion and contributions to this cause will reap generous dividends in the future translated into peace and prosperity for Jews and Arabs alike. And you who are part of this endeavor should be rewarded in kind. The alternative of Jewish Sovereignty,  like the dangerous 2 State Solution, has very ominous and downright scary actualization.  We need to fill the void that has been generated as a result of the breakdown of the "peace talks" with positive and healthy dialogue for a solution that is based on Truth and Torah and Sanity.  There is no option to simply be silent as that  void is starting to be filled with antisemitic libel against all Jews and masked under the mistaken branding of Jews as "Zionists and Occupiers".

    Dear Friends of Israel,

    Israel celebrates its 66th Remembrance and Independence Days, reminding us of the superhuman dedication, sacrifice, and heroism required to establish the modern Jewish state.  Israel has never enjoyed the luxury of resting on its laurels, and similar efforts and qualities are needed to safeguard our continued existence in our homeland.

    Women in Green is contributing to that effort in various ways, including a campaign to change the political consciousness in Israel that will pave the way for the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.

    We have just published and distributed the third issue of our journal Sovereignty, containing articles by Minister Naftali Bennett, Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon, former MK Rabbi Haim Druckman, economist Eran Bar-Tal, Dr. Guy Bechor, expert in international law Attorney Alan Baker, former MK Attorney Elyakim HaEtzni, former member of Italian Parliament Fiamma Nirenstein and others. 100,000 copies in Hebrew are being distributed this week all over Israel. The Hebrew-speaking public is reacting enthusiastically. Like when we published issues 1 and 2, now too we are getting phonecalls from people in Herzliya, Tel Aviv, Beersheva , Haifa urging us to send them more copies so they can hand it out to their friends and family. They call the Sovereignty journal "a breath of fresh air" that imbues them with Zionism and strength.
