What is going on in Yitzhar? What is happening on Har Habayit? What dangerous psychological tactics are being waged by Prime Minister Netanyau and Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon, against and at the expense of the settlers and the youth. This settler community is already weighed down with lots of emotional baggage going back to Yamit, Gush Katif expulsions, Amona etc.

Let's return to Yitzhar. In Yitzhar, Arutz 7 reported that the IDF tore down a new house l belonging to Avi and Shoshana Lazar. The Lazar family was due to move into their new home with five children. It seems like a 16 year old kid slashed a tire of an IDF officer in response.The demolition in Yitzhar comes on the heels of the destruction of the Kaisler family's new home in Kida, Samaria, in early February. The youth was labeled as a terrorist which escalated matters. More tires were slashed apparently to make a statement not to demolish any more homes and the Border Police then demolished 4 more homes in Yitzhar! Very Macho of the Border Police! Zero Tolerance against fellow Jews as per orders of Defense Minister? Then the Yitzhar community reacted in kind and destroyed an IDF post. The Border Police then took over the Od Yosef Chai Yeshiva Building.
Let's get to the root of the matter. Who issued the orders to destroy the Jewish Settlers homes? Was it Bibi? Was it Boogie? How are these immoral acts justified? Is it merely to teach the settlers how to be law abiding citizens? My guess is it was a political move, using the settlers as a "sacrificial lamb for peace" to impress Kerry that Israel is indeed doing it's part to continue the "peace process",
As AP News reports, "The Palestinians - and Kerry - questioned Israel's commitment to peace when it continued to build settlements in the West Bank and east Jerusalem throughout the talks. The Palestinians claim both areas, along with the Gaza Strip, for a future state."..." Israel captured all three areas in the 1967 Mideast war"

It seems from this article that Israel is the one being blamed for the breakdown of the "peace" talks.
In defense, and in a statement issued by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office, the government said it would not hold negotiations with a government "backed by Hamas." "Instead of choosing peace, Abu Mazen formed an alliance with a murderous terrorist organization that calls for the destruction of Israel". Netanyahu puts the blame on Abbas.
In our situation, Yaalon destroys homes,and then blames the Yitzhar community for reacting. Apparently, the Yeshiva is a place where the Youth is being "radicalized". There is some truth in the fact that in this Yeshiva, as in all Yeshivot, the youth are being taught Torah. In Torah, it is taught that the Nation of Israel have rights to the Land, especially Judea and Samaria and the territory of Judea and Samaria falls within the delineated boundaries of Israel and in fact is the heartland of Israel. By teaching such Torah and living by the Word of Torah these kids are being "radicalized". By taking over the Yeshiva when the kids are on Pesach break, the Police continue the facade on behalf of the political stage to impress the likes of Kerry and Obama.
So what was the technical excuse for the Lazar's home in Yitzhar demolished? Apparently they didn't have a legal permit. I think the founding fathers of the Thirteen Colonies would have called such an action as demolition of ones home for lacking the necessary permit denied for political reasons as an "intolerable act".
Do all the Arabs in the area have legal permits? Are their homes also being demolished? Can Arab children walk, play, pray on Temple Mount undisturbed and without harassment? Where is fair play?
It seems quite clear to me that these demolitions, and Yeshiva takeover are clearly criminal provocations on the part of the Border Police acting according to their orders. It seems to me that it is slander to portray the Yitzhar community as criminal, or violent. It serves their political end but not one based on truth nor consistent with Torah.
The act of vandalism and attack on an IDF post was not done in a vacuum. Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense MInister Yaalon have yet to take any responsibility for the emotional pain and trauma suffered by the Yitzhar community as a result of the destruction of 5 homes in their community. It is/was especially painful since the demolition was executed by orders of the leaders of the Jewish State and perceived as a betrayal especially among the youth, coming from orders from Defense Minister MosheYaalon. Yaalon as well and Netanyahu are leaders who understand or should understand and show some empathy for those who share a deep love and connection with the Land of Israel. These families are Israel's passionate Zionists, no different then the secular chalutzim who established the Kibbutzim in the early establishment of the State. Defense Minister Yaalon clearly knows that these families are not terrorists, and they do not educate/ indoctrinate their children from early childhood on, in glorifying Jihad and terrorists and suicide bombers and nor do they act violently against civilian populations or against the IDF.
Quite the opposite. They are proud IDF soldiers who love their fellow Jew, notwithstanding immoral orders of throwing fellow Jewish bro's from their homes.
So the IDF righteously stand passively by and let the" violent" settlers respond in a way that is consistent with a normal response with the destruction of ones home clearly after a provocative, immoral and criminal act and do not in any way address why 5 homes were demolished in such a cruel fashion. The photographers of those who wish us harm, have a field day in "proving" that there is a "marginal, radical, violent group in Yitzhar" who are attacking and causing "damage to its security forces, who are doing their job and enforcing the law".
I would like to know. Who takes responsibility for the destruction of the 5 homes by the hands of those security forces who are "doing their job and enforcing the law?" Not Yaalon? Not the IDF? Who gave those orders to the Border Police????? Who should be held accountable and apologize to the Yitzhar community? Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, "We will act with zero tolerance against whoever harms IDF soldiers and their commanders. The assailants will pay for their criminal acts."
Is it fair to ask the community of Yitzhar to act with restraint and tolerance while the "assailants" who destroyed a home and did their job " enforcing the law" defended? Surely it is not very difficult to judge the perpetrator, the kid who allegedly slashed the tire, with a bit more compassion and understanding.
