Arab protesters attack Jews in Yaffo

‎Four Jewish youths were attacked during an Arab protest in Yaffo on Sunday, July 19, after they inadvertently drove into the site. The protesters cursed them, spit at them, attempted to physically injure them, and damaged their car. The youths filed a complaint with the police and currently Honenu Attorney Chayim Bleicher is demanding that the suspects be brought to trial.
After a time the youths escaped from the protest: "We succeeded in getting out of there by a miracle. It was a miracle that nothing happened to us, only property damage. We asked one of the policemen to help us. We came to him traumatized and stressed, and he was so callous to us. He saw that we had experienced an attack, and he didn't even ask us if we were OK."

GOC suddenly cancels engagement party

On Sunday, July 19, a quarter of an hour before a man administratively distanced from the Shomron was supposed to leave for his engagement party at his finance's house in a Shomron community, he and his family were surprised to receive a letter suddenly canceling the special permit allowing him to attend it. Approximately one week prior to the event, the administratively distanced man filed an official request for the permit, and Major-General Tamir Yadai, the GOC of the Home Front Command, authorized him to take a direct route to his destination in the Shomron and stay there for a specific number of hours.
The father of the administratively distanced man said, "It is an embarrassment and a disgrace to receive a draconian and antisemitic order such as this in the State of the Jewish People. There has never been anything like this! You should simply be embarrassed to send me something like this a quarter of an hour (!!) before leaving for an engagement party.
Shmuel (Zangi) Meidad, the director of Honenu, which is assisting the family stated, "The use of administrative orders is always a major problem. The public has not yet internalized the situation because the orders have not yet reached the man on the street, but it is a very slippery and steep slope. This time, all sense of proportion has been lost.

Attack dog incident in Hevron

Recently, Arabs released an attack dog on a Hevron resident and her sister while they were exercising within the area of the Jewish Community of Hevron. Despite security cameras at the site and documentation of the suspects transferred by the girl to the police, there has been no notification that suspects have been detained. Honenu Attorney Chayim Bleicher, who is representing the girl, sent a letter to the Hevron Police Commander demanding that the suspects be detained and brought to trial.
The letter mentions that the entire area is monitored by a network of cameras: "The incident occurred in a place with cameras and according to the best of my client's knowledge, the Border Police Tomb of the Patriarchs Unit Network Operations Center has a video clip which documents it." Additionally, the girl filed a complaint with the police and gave them the photographs of the suspects which she had managed to take.

More violence in Beit Jann

On Monday, July 13, Honenu responded to the violent incidents in Beit Jann in which inspectors from the Israel Nature and Parks Authority were attacked, and censured the police conduct. Honenu Attorney Chayim Bleicher mentioned that on Lag B'Omer, this year May 11-12, Jewish worshipers were brutally assaulted near Beit Jann and despite repeated requests to the police, at this time there has been no announcement of detainees.
Bleicher: "Ignoring certain crimes and certain forms of criminality will not solve the problem, but rather increase and exacerbate it. Such with the brutal antisemitic attack on hareidi worshipers on Lag B'Omer. The law enforcement authorities chose not to launch an investigation which would penalize the criminals, and consequently inspectors from the Israel Nature and Parks Authority encountered rioting. It is not too late to rectify the situation and prosecute the rioters."
