How did a protest of 1,500 take place in one day after a graffiti incident and the slashing of some tires in Fureidis up near Haifa? Who is behind this organized protest against the Price Taggers?? Have they any real proof of who the perpetrators are? Why label an act of grafitti or vandalism as a "Price Tag" act committed by extreme Jewish settlers without any proof?
The common understanding of the word "Price Tag" is acts of vandalism and violence carried out by extreme Jewish settler groups mainly targeting Palestinians and their property, exacting a price for eviction and demolition of Jewish settlements in the West Bank.
In Fureidis, in Haifa District, all schools and businesses of town of 12,000 brought to a halt with no real evidence. That's impressive.
Unrelated vandalism and grafitti incidents has been happening throughout Israel... in , Hadera,Umm-al-Fahm in the Haifa District, Arab Christian village of Jish in the Galilee, Diri-Rafat near Beit Shemesh, northeastern Jerusalem Arab neighborhood of Beit Hanina. ...
Who gets blamed? Settlers of Judea and Samaria. Labeled and slandered. Guilty until proven innocent !!!??????
Real or Staged?
In Hadera
Israeli police deems Palestinians' report on price tag attack "fabrication" http://www.americantaskforce.org/daily_news_article/2013/02/28/israeli_police_deems_palestinians_report_price_tag_attack_fabrication
Price Tag' vandals oppose Israel as a Jewish and democratic state, Justice Minister Tzipi Livni said Tuesday. (Tzippi, maybe they are staged by Arabs who oppose Israel as a Jewish and democratic State, my comments, robin)
"This morning, we woke up to hatred and racism among us," Livni wrote on Facebook. "We woke up to another 'Price Tag,' another desecrated mosque in Fureidis and more cars vandalized. (If Palestinians are willing to sacrifice their own kids for Jihad why wouldn't they vandalize their own mosque for Jihad? It does wonders for their PR and their agenda when they libel the Jews, my comments robin)
"I'm ashamed. Whoever did these things are not part of my nation," she added. (Don't be ashamed Tzipi. Chances are they are not part of your nation)
Livni was responding to reports of vandalism of a mosque in Fureidis, near Zichron Ya'akov on Tuesday morning. (That's not even in Judea and Samaria....)
Livni commended municipalities in the area for speaking out against the acts. She promised Fureidis residents that she will do all she can to catch the criminals, put them on trial, and have them serve a serious sentence. (And if you found them to be Arab perpetrators who wish to fabricate a lie, will you keep this promise Tzippi? my comments, Robin)
"Price Tag crimes aren't against Arabs; they're against us, against everyone who wants our country to be Jewish and democratic," she stated. (You are probably right on this since they are probably merely fabrications and provocations by those against our country, Robin)
MK Ahmed Tibi (UAL-Ta'al) said the acts of vandalism are part of "an anti-Semitic wave executed by extremist Jewish hooligans against mosques and churches. These anti-Semites are acting without any fear that they'll be caught or punished." (If they weren't caught and convicted, how do you know with certainty that they are extremist Jewish hooligans?, my comments, Robin)
Tibi accused the government of incompetence in responding to Price Tag acts and warned of "local responses to defend mosques and property in Arab towns." (Maybe they are incompetent because they are looking in the wrong places for the perpetrators, my comments)
Opposition leader Isaac Herzog (Labor) pointed out that Monday was Holocaust Remembrance Day and many spoke out against rising anti-Semitism against Jews in Europe, saying that the vandalism is no different from fascist and neo-Nazi anti-Semitic acts (Just curious, How would Isaac Herzog respond if some fascist came and demolished his home and proceeded to go to his friends and neighbor's home in Tzahala neighborhood of Tel Aviv as the next target? Would he still equate slashing tires as being no different than the fascist anti semitic act?", If so, I suppose he never appreciated the Nuns in "The Sound of Music" my comments Robin)
"In this matter, all of Israel is a joint force," he stated. "We will put all pressure possible to make sure the violence toward [Fureidis residents] stops and the criminals are severely punished." (And if you find that it was staged, will you keep your resolve to punish the criminals severely?, My comments, Robin)
Science and Technology Minister Yaakov Peri (Yesh Atid) said the price tag acts "hurt sacred religious values and are trying to sabotage the delicate fabric of life between Jews and Arabs in Israel." (I suppose according to Yaakov Peri, surely he would also agree that demolishing Settler homes of Yitzhar is an act to hurt sacred religious values and to sabatoge the delicate fabric of life between Jews and Arabs. ....my comments Robin)
Peri also called for the police to catch and punish the perpetrators

In response to the vandalism, a general strike was called for Wednesday in the village of some 12,000 residents, and all schools and businesses will be shut down.On Tuesday night, around 1,500 people took part in a protest march through the village, calling for an end to "price tag" attacks and for police to find the perpetrators. In addition, dozens of residents of nearby Zichron Ya'acov and other Jewish towns came out and protested in a sign of solidarity."

The main evidence presented in court Friday against the couple – who have no criminal record was that their Suzuki Baleno car was reportedly spotted at the crime scene. In his closing argument, Ben-Gvir their attorney said there are a lot of Suzuki Balenos in Israel and in Yitzhar, and that unless the police knows the particular license plate they have no case. ..Judge Avital Chen said that the burden of proof is on the suspects, that they have to prove that they are not linked to the attack, and ordered them kept in custody. The Samaria Regional Council's Welfare Division has lodged a complaint with the Tel Aviv District Welfare office against police behavior both prior to and during the arrest. The two couples were arrested in front of their children and there was no plan in place for care the ten minors. It added that such actions violate the youth law which mandate that no minor should be left unattended. Samaria Regional Council head Gershon Mesika said, "it's inconceivable to abandon children without informing social services."
