BS'D
We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all of you who helped us in our time of sorrow at the passing of Mr. Arthur Ticker, Avraham Aharon Ben Pesach ob"m, father of Jay (Yakov) and Ronald (Reuven) Ticker.
We are especially grateful to: the Misaskim organization, Rabbi Sokol of the Yavneh Minyan, Rabbi Stone of Adath Yeshurun, Craig Goldsmith President of Adath Yeshurun, Rabbi Vigler's shul, as well as the other local shuls, friends, and family who helped us out. We wish to thank those who took care of the funeral arrangements, which ran promptly, smoothly and with sensitivity. We especially wish to express our thanks to those of you who came, in the middle of the work day, to the Levayah in Brighton Beach or to the burial in Beth Moses cemetery.
Our thanks to those of you who came for Shiva, and to those who helped with emails, calls, signs in the shuls or word of mouth to organize Minyanim, and of course to those of you who came from far and near to participate in the Minyanim and Kaddish. We appreciate those who sent their condolences by card, phone, email, or on facebook and for all offers to help us out in any which way. We much appreciate the food sent, the shtender, mincha/maariv benchers, all the siddurim, seforim and equipment of Misaskim including a Sefer Torah, as well as donations in memory of the Niftar, Avraham Aharon Ben Pesach Ticker. We know that some of you came, sometimes several times over the course of shiva, when it wasn't that easy for you, just to make sure that we had a Minyan or just to show that you care, and this dedication on your part was noted and appreciated.
We are very grateful to all those that have taken upon themselves to learn Mishnayos LeIllui Nishmas Avraham Aharon Ben Pesach Ticker.. . Anyone else that wishes to learn Mishnayos LIllui Nishamto, (especially Kodshin or Taharos) please contact us (718 300-3117).or email jticker@nyhomes.org or faigerayzel@gmail.com
We wish to thank family and friends who took over some of our other responsibilities of taking care of our elderly parent or our younger daughter in this time of need. Your acts of kindness were very much appreciated.
Sincerely,
Yakov and Robin Ticker and family
