Today I met Rabbi Gershon Tennenbaum, Director of Iggud Harabonim. Iggud Harabbonim has membership of several hundred Rabbanim. Rabbi Tennenbaum was on his way to speak at the Concert in the Park. He reiterated what the Rebbe said which is "NOT ONE INCH".
We must show Hakoras Hatov to the pioneers on the hilltops. Not only is there a very high percentage of these men in combat roles in the army as mentioned below, their very presence and the presence of their family is protecting the other settlements. My understanding is that some of these outposts are strategically located on high ground protecting populated centers in low ground.
These outposts are the future settlements. We are proud of them and our hopes and prayers are that they will grow and prosper. They remind us of the Gush Katif communities so inhumanely destroyed. They represent the "good ideology" to paraphrase Evelyn Haies of Rachel's Children Reclamation Foundation. They are the Simba's in the Lion King and not the Scar's. They represent life and a taste of Camolot. Their destruction is evil because they represent all that is good and an authenticTorah lifestyle in Eretz Yisroel. All this talk of legality and illegality is pure politics and as shown below has absolutely nothing to do with really wanting to keep the law of the Land. Unfortunately, the government is very selective about who is obligated to keep the "law" and who is not, Case in point, all those newly built illegal Arab houses that are vacant adjacent to the wall are not being targeted by Obama and the Government of Israel even though they are illegal. Quite the opposite. USAID is funding them.
Let's uphold the Law and destroy them or give them to Jewish settlers. This should descourage all illegal Arab building.
As I write this email I get a message that Ramat Gilad is coming down.
Let this merely be a minor setback to the settlement enterprise. May it be built bigger and better Beezrat Hashem!

The young couples in the outposts need us
Housing demolitions in the outposts of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria are being ordered by the government of Israel under the pretext of "enforcing the law". But here is a recent report about 6,000 illegal Arab homes in Jerusalem, issued by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, run by former UN ambassador Dr. Dore Gold: http://jcpa.org/jlmbldg.htm
Furthermore, DM Barak has issued orders not to destroy illegally built Arab homes in Judea and Samaria. The government of Israel is asking for the law to be enforced only when it comes to Jews?
The context of these outposts is because there is a lack of housing for young couples in Judea and Samaria's Jewish communities. Thank you David Bedein for providing this information.
