Otzma Yehudit True to Har Habayit! Rav Lior from Kiryat Arba gives Chizuk to Dr. MK Michael Ben Ari and Baruch Marzl

bs"d

Yasher Koach to Otzma Yehudit!

Yishai Collapses Otzma Yehudit Talks by Banning Temple Mount.
In shocking last minute demands, Yishai's party demands Otzma Yehudit enter coalition at cost of ideology for yeshiva budgets.

The Spirit of Hebron prevails!  The two conditions demanded from Otzma Yehudit was a litmus test to see if they would cave in the future and sell out our rights to Eretz Yisroel. "Otzma Yehudit had to agree on a condition that forbids ascending to the Mount forever, or to receive money for institutions and support Bibi (Netanyahu) at any price." (arutz7 above link))

 and  Baruch Hashem they passed the test!  They stayed true to Torah based principles and resisted politics, and a prominent position in the gov't.

Yishai and Yachad - HaAm Itanu on the other hand....

Dr. Michael Ben Ari was willing to give up his spot as MK.  Eretz Yisroel is more important than his own personal political career.  But when it came to compromising on our deepest claims to Eretz Yisroel, he stood firm!

We know that Gush Katif happened because of deals made for subsidies for Jewish Education.  Chareidi parties who initially were against the Disengagement changed their tune.  They joined the government when they shouldn't of.

 Yishai and Yachad - HaAm Itanu should learn from past experiences of the 2005 expulsion.

In the Hebrew paper Hamodia, dated 12 Cheshvan 5765, the headline read that the head of the faction of Yahadut Hatorah under the recommendation of Moetzet Gedolei Hatorah were against the Disengagement.

Another headline at the time read that MK Harav Meir Porush were against the Disengagement just like they were against Oslo and it will be shown that they were right

The Lubavitcher Rebbe in Parshat Devarim 5759 said:  (Halacha Berura top of page 32) That it is impossible to educate with Torah and Yirat Shamayim from money tainted in the blood of a Jew.

It seems to many that $67 million given to the UTJ was indeed blood money.

Rav Rumpler then continues and quotes a Gemorrah which says more than that! The Gemorrah in Avoda Zara 17:1 says that you can't even build a bathroom with such money.

Rachel Saperstein writes in March 2005 The Knesset has voted to turn down the people's demand for a referendum on the expulsion plan of Ariel Sharon.

Sharon, using the government purse springs to shower largesse or penury on each political party has b(r)ought the Knesset to its knees. The promise of huge sums of money to those who vote for his plan made this vote a foregone conclusion.

In March 23, 2005 the New York Times reported:

Shinui is upset over $67 million in extra funds for religious education that Mr. Sharon promised to the United Torah Judaism party to bring it into the coalition. http://www.nytimes.com/2005/03/23/international/middleeast/23cnd-mideast.html?pagewanted=print&position=

Now let's go back to recent news:

Recently, Yishai Gets Hareidi Leader's 'Blessing' for New Party with Ariel, Sources close to Yishai say meeting with Rabbi Shteinman Friday paves way for Shas split, solidifying deal splitting Jewish Home as well.

By Chaim Lev, Ari Yashar

Let us examine Rav Shteinman's position in the past regarding Gush Katif and Kever Yosef.

Rav Shteinman: Those Who Go To Kever Yosef are Suicidal and my comments

Letter to Malcolm Hoenlein and Rav Shteinman

Rav Shteinman seems consistent.

Tikkun Chait HaMiraglim is the test of our generation.

At least secular soccer player Ohana who recently joined Bayit Yehudi (Bennett's party) admitted he made a mistake about  destruction of Jewish Settlements. True he wasn't bribed to begin with....

Perhaps is a good time to listen to the leining of the first Chapter of Yeshayahu and take it to heart.

It is a scary world.
The Navi is warning us.  Reality is staring us in the face

The sad alternative of Nations streaming toward Jerusalem Yeshayahu Chapter 1

bs"d

Yeshayahu Perek 1:1-27

In this Chapter Yeshayahu emphasizes that Hashem does not need or want and actually finds distasteful and despises our sacrifices that aren't authentic.

Hashem denounces those who take bribes rather than judge with justice and righteousness and when the cause of the widow and orphan doesn't even come to the justice system.

Who is in charge of the Judicial system in Israel?  Why aren't the Chareidi parties yearning for a Sanhedrin and law based on Torah Shebichtav and Torah Shebaal Peh?

 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves; every one loveth bribes, and followeth after rewards; they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them. {S}

Isaiah Chapter 1

1 The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth, for the LORD hath spoken: Children I have reared, and brought up, and they have rebelled against Me.
3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib; but Israel doth not know, My people doth not consider.
4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evil-doers, children that deal corruptly; they have forsaken the LORD, they have contemned the Holy One of Israel, they are turned away backward.
ה  עַל מֶה תֻכּוּ עוֹד, תּוֹסִיפוּ סָרָה; כָּל-רֹאשׁ לָחֳלִי, וְכָל-לֵבָב דַּוָּי. 5 On what part will ye yet be stricken, seeing ye stray away more and more? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint;
6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and festering sores: they have not been pressed, neither bound up, neither mollified with oil.
7 Your country is desolate; your cities are burned with fire; your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by floods.
8 And the daughter of Zion is left as a booth in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.
ט  לוּלֵי יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת, הוֹתִיר לָנוּ שָׂרִיד כִּמְעָט--כִּסְדֹם הָיִינוּ, לַעֲמֹרָה דָּמִינוּ.  {פ} 9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, we should have been like unto Gomorrah. {P}
10 Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.
11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto Me? saith the LORD; I am full of the burnt-offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he-goats.
12 When ye come to appear before Me, who hath required this at your hand, to trample My courts?
13 Bring no more vain oblations; it is an offering of abomination unto Me; new moon and sabbath, the holding of convocations--I cannot endure iniquity along with the solemn assembly.
14 Your new moons and your appointed seasons My soul hateth; they are a burden unto Me; I am weary to bear them.
15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide Mine eyes from you; yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear; your hands are full of blood.
טז  רַחֲצוּ, הִזַּכּוּ--הָסִירוּ רֹעַ מַעַלְלֵיכֶם, מִנֶּגֶד עֵינָי:  חִדְלוּ, הָרֵעַ. 16 Wash you, make you clean, put away the evil of your doings from before Mine eyes, cease to do evil;
יז  לִמְדוּ הֵיטֵב דִּרְשׁוּ מִשְׁפָּט, אַשְּׁרוּ חָמוֹץ; שִׁפְטוּ יָתוֹם, רִיבוּ אַלְמָנָה.  {ס} 17 Learn to do well; seek justice, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. {S}
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD; though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
יט  אִם-תֹּאבוּ, וּשְׁמַעְתֶּם--טוּב הָאָרֶץ, תֹּאכֵלוּ. 19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land;
כ  וְאִם-תְּמָאֲנוּ, וּמְרִיתֶם--חֶרֶב תְּאֻכְּלוּ, כִּי פִּי יְהוָה דִּבֵּר.  {פ} 20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword; for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken. {P}
21 How is the faithful city become a harlot! She that was full of justice, righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers.
22 Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water.
כג  שָׂרַיִךְ סוֹרְרִים, וְחַבְרֵי גַּנָּבִים--כֻּלּוֹ אֹהֵב שֹׁחַד, וְרֹדֵף שַׁלְמֹנִים; יָתוֹם לֹא יִשְׁפֹּטוּ, וְרִיב אַלְמָנָה לֹא-יָבוֹא אֲלֵיהֶם.  {ס} 23 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves; every one loveth bribes, and followeth after rewards; they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them. {S}
כד  לָכֵן, נְאֻם הָאָדוֹן יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת--אֲבִיר, יִשְׂרָאֵל:  הוֹי אֶנָּחֵם מִצָּרַי, וְאִנָּקְמָה מֵאוֹיְבָי. 24 Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel: Ah, I will ease Me of Mine adversaries, and avenge Me of Mine enemies;
כה  וְאָשִׁיבָה יָדִי עָלַיִךְ, וְאֶצְרֹף כַּבֹּר סִיגָיִךְ; וְאָסִירָה, כָּל-בְּדִילָיִךְ. 25 And I will turn My hand upon thee, and purge away thy dross as with lye, and will take away all thine alloy;
26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning; afterward thou shalt be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.
27 Zion shall be redeemed with justice, and they that return of her with righteousness.

A Must See Video in response to "Naked Blind Anti-Semitism in NYC Council Chambers". Councilmen David Greenfields speech goes viral...

bs"d

Thank you Madam Public Advocate. You know, I waited my turn here. I've followed protocol in the New York City Council and haven't spoken out because I respect this chamber. I have to tell you, I'm still shaken to my core. I am upset. I am angry. But I'll tell you honestly, I am actually somewhat pleased at what we saw here today. If you're wondering why I'm saying that, it's because for the last few weeks we've heard from people who said, "Oh we don't dislike Jews, we only dislike the state of Israel. We have no problem with you, we simply don't want you to go to Israel."

But we know that's not really at the core of what they were saying and today they proved it. While we were discussing a resolution regarding the murder of 1.1 million human beings – I will point out that 90% of whom were Jewish, but the other 10 percent were political dissidents, they were Jehovah's Witnesses, they were gays. Those were the people who were being killed together in Auschwitz-Birkenau. While we were discussing that, they had the nerve, the chutzpah, the temerity to unfurl a Palestinian flag and to yell at us while we're discussing that.

And so the reason why I am pleased is because we can stop pretending that this is about Israel, when the reality is that every Middle Eastern country that is in existence today is not Democratic and persecutes people of other faiths, and persecutes gays, and persecutes people who disagree with them, and persecutes people on Twitter and persecutes women who drive, except for one country – which is the State of Israel.

And so what you saw here today was naked, blind Anti-Semitism. That's what you saw. That's what you watched. That's what you witnessed. People who are upset for one reason. Do you want to know know why they are angry? Do you want to know why they are unfurling that flag today? Because Hitler did not finish the job. He only wiped out half of my family. And only by the grace of God is the other half, me, the grand-child, still alive today. That's why those people are upset. Shame on them! Shame on them for hating Jews! Shame on them for hating people! Shame on them for disrespecting the most diverse, democratically elected body in the United States of America.

And that's why we go to Israel. We go to Israel to make a message that is clear: that we will not be cowered by this fear and by this hatred that we have, where these are people who will celebrate the death of Jews rather than mourn the death of innocents. I am embarrassed at what happened here today but I am pleased that we finally see what this is all about: good old fashion Anti-Semitism. Thank you."

Pashath Haman Segula for Parnossa Say NOW! Today Tuesday 0f Parshat Beshalach

7 Shvat 5775

bs"d
Dear Family and Friends, amv"sh

Parshat Haman: the portion in the Torah that describes the way Hashem provided manna (i.e., parnassah from heaven) for the Jewish people in the Midbar Desert. This can be found in Sefer Shemot, Perek16: 4-36. The book of Exodus 16: 4-36.
Artscroll English Translation of Parshas Haman

There are many who recite this daily, however, it is a most auspicious time to recite it on the Tuesday of Parashas B'shalach.

Below is a link for it in Hebrew and Aramaic for 2 Mikra Echad Targum:

May all your tefilos (prayers) be answered l'tova(for the good)!
