Dear Friends,

Here you have it! In fact this is shameful spectacle.

It is truly a mind boggling event. The mere fact that the whole affair was handled so carelessly and clumsily, points to the disarray the Dems display with regard to Israel, and probably to other matters.

Are 10,000 nay sayers (half the delegates present in the vote) in doubt as to where President Obama and the Democratic Party stand on the issue of Jerusalem?

Who is causing the confusion and why?

Are any Jews still in doubt after this schlemiel display that the Dems can no longer be relied upon, despite the declaration of support in AIPAC by all their top leaders including Obama Reid and Pelosi?

Would or should any Jew who puts Israel among the top of his/hers priorities vote for these bunch of bunglers?

How many more such incidents are required to make Jews realize things have changed since the party was ruled by Kennedy, Johnson and even Clinton?

Rabbanim, Media, MKs, Friends, DID YOU CALL TO SAVE MIGRON? Will we all be held accountable? READ LETTER FROM DESTROYED MIGRON REFUGEE

Bs"d

Can we honestly say    ז   יָדֵינוּ לֹא שפכה [שָׁפְכוּ] אֶת הַדָּם הַזֶּה וְעֵינֵינוּ לֹא רָאוּ דברים כא 'Our hands have not shed this blood, neither have our eyes seen it.

The Migron's statement on the day they were expelled:

"Today is a dark day for the State of Israel, a day in which the basic rights of citizens have been trampled.… The government of Israel will not be able to wash its hands of the brutal rape that is being carried out under its open eyes, through its silent approval,'' said the statement. "Today, the Prime Minister has gone down in eternal infamy as a member of a destructive band of preceding prime ministers that chose to raise a hand to the Settlement Enterprise in the Land of Israel"

You can ignore all my emails but come Rosh Hashana there is a reckoning.  When Silence is a Sin

We pleaded for you to call.....

Well this is the consequence of our Collective Silence!!!!!
Taking our cue from American Citizens of Constitutional Rights ...http://www.c4cg.org/index.html

The Constitution identifies many Rights, e.g., speech, press, religion, etc., all of which fit into one of three categories - Life, Liberty, or Property. The possession of these basic Rights are all necessary for the Pursuit of Happiness. Violation of any one of the three by government is tyranny. Several of the Founders suggested the following slogan for our Great Seal, "Resistance to Tyranny is Obedience to GOD".

The Prophesy of Isaiah Chapter 1

26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning; afterward thou shalt be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.
כז  צִיּוֹן, בְּמִשְׁפָּט תִּפָּדֶה; וְשָׁבֶיהָ, בִּצְדָקָה. 27 Zion shall be redeemed with justice, and they that return of her with righteousness.
כח  וְשֶׁבֶר פֹּשְׁעִים וְחַטָּאִים, יַחְדָּו; וְעֹזְבֵי יְהוָה, יִכְלוּ. 28 But the destruction of the transgressors and the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.

ISRAELI GOVERNMENT DESTROYS HOLY SITES by Helen Freedman AND LETTER FROM AVIELA DEITCH - REFUGEE FROM DESTROYED MIGRON COMMUNITY

 bs"d

ISRAELI GOVERNMENT DESTROYS HOLY SITES by  Helen Freedman, Executive Director

That's an alarming headline. If the holy sites were Muslim, there would be a world-wide outcry of condemnation. Instead, because the synagogue and mikveh of a Jewish community are destroyed, one hardly hears a murmur of disapproval. Yes, there were many Israelis who fought against the destruction of Migron. There were many of us in the "galut" who cried out against it. But the sanctity of an outrageous and unjust Supreme Court decision held sway, and on America's Labor Day, the hated Yassamnikim, the black-robed destroyers of the Israeli police, arrived to do their dirty work.
I saw these people face to face seven years ago in Neve Dekalim, Gush Katif/Gaza, when they formed an unbreakable line of resistance against the Gush Katif residents who were pleading with them not to destroy their communities. I saw the impassive faces, the cold stares, and the total indifference of the destroyers. Of course, they were only carrying out the orders of their superiors.
Today, PM Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak are delivering these orders and the underlings are executing them. Along with the homes, schools, playgrounds, shops, nurseries, offices, and community halls which were destroyed, the mikveh and synagogue will also be leveled. What malevolent force drives Israel's leaders to order such evil? And what pretense there is in suggesting that this is simply moving people from one home to another!!
Aviela Deitch, a young mother with whom the AFSI Chizuk group has had a number of meetings while visiting in Migron, has written me the following email. Please, put yourself in her shoes and understand the enormity of the pain and suffering she and her neighbors are enduring. Do whatever you possibly can to reach the Netanyahu government to decry this action and others that might be in the planning stages. memshala@pmo.gov.il; bnetanyahu@knesset.gov.il; pm_eng2@it.pmo.gov.il; minister@mod.gov.il

FROM AVIELA DEITCH - REFUGEE FROM DESTROYED MIGRON COMMUNITY
I will try to write things out better tomorrow, but I want everyone to know that as much as a rosey picture has been painted all over the place, the lower neighborhood is simply very unsafe at this point, and most families, most likely, will be moving in tomorrow.  That is not yet final.  Additionally, eight families received caravans that are uninhabitable, some grossly so.  These families include that of Etai, founder of the community, whose wife is currently expecting; as well as the Gutman family, whose home was already destroyed once, then twice;  another family that had a home that they had built, and one family where the wife is due to give birth any day, in addition to having four other small children at home, thank G-d.  The kindergartens, day care and shul are far from ready.  Where we will daven on Rosh HaShanah is entirely unclear.  It is so NOT OKAY.  The community, as well as the head of the county, Avi Roeh, have begged for at least the synagogue not to be destroyed, or the permanent and expensive mikveh.  No go.  were it a dead sheikh lying up there, he'd be safe.  But we are being left with no mikveh at all and our shul is also marked to be plowed under next week.  That's right, while everyone is sitting at work or in school, a shul will be destroyed.  It apparently isn't even enough to board up a mikveh made of concrete, it has to be destroyed.  WHY?!!

How to respond to the Brutal Rape of Migron? Intolerable Acts.

Bs"d

Dear Rabbanim, Media, Members of Knesset and fellow activists and lovers of Israel, amv"sh

IN MY LAST EMAIL  Brutal Rape of Migron http://shemittahrediscovered.blogspot.com/2012/09/the-brutal-rape-of-migron-migron.html  it was suggested that settlers who actively participate in their own expulsion and do not protest and cooperate with silence share in the guilt.  This was surely not the case here in Migron since the settlers have been most vocal in their protest. The fact that they left the scene with their little kids does not translate to cooperating with those who expel them.  Does anyone expect them to hang around on the battlefield with their little children?  Any responsible parent would agree that a battlefield is not a place for women and children and not even for teenage youth.  Who initiated the battle?  Surely it was not the Settlers.  However, their property is surely threatened.    Who came dressed in black with armor and shields ready to expel Jews from their homes?

So how should the protest manifest itself if the families are out of sight?

Let us take our cue from the American Revolution.   The American Patriots established a Continental Congress and in response to intolerable acts by the British which included Taxation without Representation established militias.

I see the accusing finger pointing at me.  Oh so you are calling for a Civil War!  A Milchemet Achim?  Calm down.  Right now we are talking about the American Revolution and the American gov't and the American way of life and the following is not written by me or talking about Israel but about the foundations of America and about freedom and democracy.

Any discussion of Rights should begin with an understanding of the following:
Rights do not come from government. Governments can only grant privileges. Privileges that be granted can also be taken away. Rights do not come from the Constitution either. The Constitution only protects Rights by establishing a government designed to provide protection for We The People.

All Rights come from God and are inalienable, which means that they cannot be taken away. Those who violate God-given Rights must believe themselves superior to God or they must believe that God does not exist. I am describing humanism which is discussed in more depth on this page.

Attached to and an essential part of God-given Rights is the sacred duty to protect and defend those Rights with whatever means necessary. It is the Right To Bear Arms that protects all other rights. Therefore, if it is lost, all other rights will surely be lost as well.

We should never allow ourselves to get drawn into a frivolous discussion over what type of gun is suitable for hunting, sport shooting, etc., because those issues have nothing what-so-ever to do with the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Peace Through Strength is always the best policy for the military and for individuals.

The right to keep and bear arms not only predates the writing of the Second Amendment, it also predates the discovery of firearms, because the right to defend one's right to Life, Liberty, and Property came with the Creation of Man.

-----------------------------------------------------

Now Dear Friends, Let us get back to Migron.  Can you deny the description "Gov't of Tyranny"  appropriate for Netanyahu's administration after the recent expulsion from MIGRON?

Surely everyone will agree that the residents of Migron and Gush Katif suffered much worse intolerable acts than taxation w/o representation.  Having ones property stolen and being expelled from ones home is far worse that unfair taxation.

If you are not yet convinced as per Israel's right to the Property of Judea and Samaria please read the following excellent article:

Op-Ed:
Stephen Kruger
Published: Thursday, August 30, 2012 10:43 AM
The land of Israel is a trust of which the Jewish people are the beneficiaries, the government of Israel the trustees. There are, however, duties and rules.

This battle for Migron and all the settlements in Judea and Samaria should then be fought fair and square.  Armed Soldiers with shields must be met with the same and not with unarmed teenage kids no matter how admirable or honorable their intentions.

Who should rally the troops?  My initial answer to this question is the Rabbanim and Roshei Yeshiva of the Hesder Yeshivot and Nachal Chareidi. They should instruct their soldiers not to obey any immoral orders that involves "raping the land of Israel"  in order to take her from her rightful owner the people of Israel and give her to an alien owner,  the Palestinians.   The municipalities of Judea and Samaria should work hand in hand with a working Kosher and Holy army who is ready to stand by to protect the Holy Land and the property of Jews.

Will this cause a Civil War.  I personally do not believe so.  But just like the War in Iran, tyranny must not be tolerated and must be shown a willingness to go to war.  Those who usurped their power, basically the Supreme Court of Israel, and those who follow immoral orders under the Civil Administration of the territories must be stopped.

The Brutal Rape of Migron, Migron spokesperson and Comments

bs"d

The following is an expression of the very deep emotional pain and moral dilemma felt by people in Migron and from this letter one can understand how the residents were split and agonized as per how to address the terrible crime about to be perpetrated on their community.

* Brutal Rape of Migron residents http://www.eish-l.org/s/sdtowf (HEBREW)

Spokesperson of Migron: (loose translation)

This is a black day for the State of Israel.  A day where the basic civil rights of people on the right are being trampled.

Today the Prosecution gave permission to a Price Tag operation by clerks on the entire settlement community.

The government of Israel will not be able to cleanse her hands from the brutal rape that was done under her watchful eyes with silent agreement.

On this day, the Prime Minister Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu joins in contributing to the decline of the world,  with previous governments that chose to raise their hand on the settlement enterprise.  We are confident that the citizens of the Zionist State will know how to bring him to account for this.

The Settlers of Migron raise their heads on this difficult day and believe that settlement will grow and flourish and very very soon the story of Migron will end with at least 2 settlements.

Neemanei Eretz commentary Shoshana Greenfeld: (Abridged translation)

Questions and Answers: "And G-d was good to the midwives and made them houses"

The obligation to scream

"The Brutal Rape of Migron" The author gives the analogy of the situation brought in the Torah about a married women being raped in a city setting and her obligation to scream.

When one is raped, she has the moral obligation not to participate in the rape. She is obligated to scream against the brutal crime.  If she does not scream, she is a guilty party along with her rapist and both are sentenced to die. The author of this post went into specifics.  She can not in any way be a willing participant like undress, unbutton or open her legs. The scream is necessary because that is the resistance to the brutal crime and evil. The scream is supposed to bring people to come and help her, to stop the rape and if she doesn't scream she allows the terrible crime to continue.

That is to say: When they are raping a settlement with brutality, there is an obligation to scream.  and not only  screaming but one is not allowed to disrobe willingly, to pack willingly and or participate in any activity in cooperation with the rapist.

Those who live nearby are obligated to come and help and cries must not fall on deaf ears. Otherwise what is the point for her to scream?

Another example in the Torah that was mentioned was the chapter of Egla Arufa where we learn about mutual responsibility, and what is required from the nearby city.  If a body is found in a field the elders must come from the neighboring villages and wash their hands in the nearby streams and declare that the're hands had no part int he spilling of the blood and their eyes didn't see anything and they didn't hear anything.  Otherwise if they could have prevented the crime and didn't, they would be guilty. That is, they are clean only if they did not hear and did not see and therefore did not prevent the crime. But if they did hear and see and closed their eyes, then they are partners in the rape, in the evil deed and in the crime. That is agreeing in silence.

Like the Migron spokesperson writes, the government of Israel can not cleanse her hands, this is also the case regarding nearby settlements and the entire nation who are silent against this crime, and do not arrive in order to establish a tent city and in this way prevent the brutal rape - is guilty.  Surely this is true for those who are active participants in being an arm in implementing the rape in one way or another.

The Moral and Torah way is for all friends, neighbors and acquaintances to come and prevent the brutal rape and to scream and stop it as it says "Al Taamod al Dam Reiacha". Don't stand by the blood of your fellow Jew.  They are obligated to come and stop the rapist..  Otherwise there is no point in the scream.

"And G-d was good to the Midwives and made them Houses"  The Midwives overturned Pharohs evil decrees so G-d built them houses.  Hashem also built for Moshe a house because he stood up against evil and was rewarded. One who stands up against evil, the end is good. He diminished the evil decree  and had put his life in danger when  he didn't know the outcome.

The author concludes.  Every one must choose whether to build his moral house and in this way a house in the world or whether to destroy a house.

With Blessings, from those who fear the word of Hashem and loves His people.

-------------------------------------------------

My comments:  The author seems to be warning the residents of Migron  who choose to leave silently of not being active participants in their own rape since then they too would be accountable.

However, it seems quite clear to me that Migron has been screaming for a long time.  Not screaming loud enough?  I heard them loud and clear and forwarded their cry to my list and posted it on my blog.

The author is correct that one is required to scream to prevent a brutal crime like rape and one is required to come to the rescue and prevent the crime from happening.

This analogy is  quite a shocking one and perhaps those that left Migron without supporting a mass protest were very offended and pained by the analogy of their brothers/sisters of being compared to an active participant to their own rape who is held accountable.

The analogy however misses an important  point.  This point is that the expulsion of Migron,  is the nullification of G-d's Covenant with the Jewish people and not only with those who happen to  live in Migron.

It is the rape of the Jewish People and not just 50 families.

It is the Jewish People who are not screaming about this brutal rape but rather have been prostituting to the powers at large such as World opinion, American opinion etc.

  1. She has yet to proclaim!  "I am married to the Land exclusively in holiness and NO OTHER PEOPLE  can be sanctified when they possess this LAND. ONLY a Holy Nation, and a HOLY People called the Nation of Israel is the rightful marriage partner."  Not only the people of Israel is being raped but so is the Land itself.  If the intention of the gov't of Israel is to give the land to a strange owner (baal) that is like raping a married women. The sanctity of the marriage is then defiled.

On the Sabbath morning prayers we say  "And You did not give [the Sabbath, the Sabbatical Year, the Shemittah] Hashem, our G-d, to the nations of the world, and nor did you make it an inheritance, our King, of the worshipers of idols; and also in its rest will the uncircumcised not be sheltered, FOR TO ISRAEL, YOUR PEOPLE HAVE YOU GIVEN IT WITH LOVE, TO THE SEED OF JACOB WHOM YOU HAVE CHOSEN THE PEOPLE THAT SANCTIFY THE SEVENTH, ALL OF THEM WILL BE DELIGHTED FROM YOUR GOODNESS, MOST COVETED OF DAYS YOU CALLED IT a remembrance of the act of Creation!

"In the beginning of His creating, Hashem created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was unformed and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep, and the spirit of Hashem hovered over the face of the waters. And Hashem said, "Let there be light, and there was light.'" (Bereishis 1:1-3)
Rashi, in his first commentary in the Torah, asks, "Why does the Torah begin with Bereishis, the account of the creation of the world? If the Torah is a book of mitzvohs, why doesn't it start with the mitzvoh of Rosh Chodesh, the Torah's first mitzvoh found in Parshas Bo, the 3rd Parsha in the book of Shemos?"

Rashi answers with a verse (Psalms 111:6), "'The power of His works He has declared to His people by giving them the inheritance of the nations (Eretz Yisrael).' For if the nations of the world should say to Israel, 'You robbed the Caananites of the their land', Israel will have a ready answer. 'The entire world belongs to Hashem. He created it and He gave it to whomever He deemed worthy in his eyes. He gave it to the Caananites when He wanted to, and now He took it from them and gave it to us."

 .
Sincerely,
