Read about B'Tselem

B'Tselem Video Misrepresents Arab Arson

B'Tselem video shows a Yitzhar resident firing at an Arab, fails to mention that Arabs had tried to set fire to the community.By Elad Benari

Will B'Tselem under the umbrella of NIF be marching in the Israel Parade on June 3rd???  Organizations like AFSI are not marching since  the guidelines of the Israel Parade do not allow  banners that would be too Zionistic or as they call it  "political". For example, can participants of the Parade hold a banner that says "No to a Palestinian State", or "Judea and Samaria is our Biblical Homeland?" How about "Yehudi Lo Megaresh Yehudi" and "Jews should stop expelling Jews from our Land".

I believe that such banners would not conform to the guidelines of this Israel Parade.

Yet B'Tselem an overtly anti Israel group can march under NIF who funds them.  Ok you say, "The Organizers of the Parade are being even handed..  No one is stopping Afsi from marching.  If they insist on holding "political" banners that says that "Judea and Samaria is our Biblical Homeland" then it's their choice not to march.....B'Tselem is also not allowed to carry political banners that says "Jews are the Occupiers of Jerusalem" and "The IDF hurts innocent Palestinians!"

DUH... Isn't this an Israel Parade?  If that is what B'Tselem truly believes, they should be on the sidelines protesting holding up their banners. Instead it is Afsi that is forced to be on the Sidelines...

If this was just a matter of the Parade it's perhaps not so newsworthy.  However.....

Jewish Federation who seems to be carrying the purse strings of this Parade organized by the JCRC has tremendous control and  influence on Jews across America including community centers and newspapers. Very often, the Jewish Federation is the only Jewish affiliation Jews have, outside major Jewish metropolitan centers. Federation has the funding (let's investigate from where their sources are) to infiltrate all pro-Israel Jewish media giving themselves respectability and an aura of legitimacy as being "Pro Israel".  This legitimacy enables them to continue to raise big bucks and fund our enemies while feeding their poison against Israel to the uneducated.

Jewish Outreach organizations have a hard time competing and detoxifying the poison fed to these unaffiliated Jews.

Isn't it time we expose the evil rather than empower them to continue to operate in this fashion that serves to harm Israel.

Or will we allow and actually contribute to the birth of  more monster Jews who turn against our own brothers and sisters and heritage after being fed lies and untruths from the likes of B'Tselem?????

Let’s embrace our friends By CAROLINE B. GLICK Caroline, but what do we do when our friends embrace our enemies?

bs"d

Dear Caroline Glick, amv"sh

Thank you once again for a fantastic post!

An even more disturbing question is why has the Jewish Press featured Ron Kampeas and the JTA on the front page time and time again knowing fully well that he has a leftist agenda that is anti Israel?

Why has the religious Jewish Media refused to report on the campaign for a pro Israel Parade and fail to expose the NIF as an anti Israel organization who empowers our enemies?  Why has the NIF been  granted legitimacy under the umbrella of the Israel Parade under the direction of the Jewish Federation?  Who exactly is John Ruskay CEO of Federation who partners with enemies of Israel.  How did it happen that the CEO of Jewish Federation is a friend of Israel's enemies and not a friend of Israel? How can we allow this monster that calls itself Jewish to feed an anti Israel poisonous agenda across America to Jews whose only connection to Judaism is the Federation?    How can we allow Jewish money go to our enemies rather to real Jewish causes?

Indirectly we are turning our own people against ourselves. Why do we Prostitute ourselves?

Column One: Let's embrace our friends
By CAROLINE B. GLICK, The Jerusalem Post
May 18, 2012
In recent years, poll after poll has shown that majority of Israelis
do not believe that two-state paradigm will bring peace.

Two weeks ago, US Congressman Joe Walsh published an op-ed in the The
Washington Times in which he called for the US and Israel to abandon
the two-state solution.

After running through the record of Palestinian duplicity, failed
governance, terrorism and bad faith, he called for Israel to apply its
sovereignty to Judea and Samaria. In his words, Israel should "adopt
the only solution that will bring true peace to the Middle East: a
single Israeli state from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.
Israel is the only country in the region dedicated to peace and the
only power capable of stable, just and democratic government in the
region."

The evidence that the two-state paradigm has failed is overwhelming.
The Palestinians' decision to reject statehood at Camp David in 2000
and launch a terror war against Israel made clear that they had not
abandoned their refusal from 1947 to accept partition of the Land of
Israel with the Jews.

So, too, the Palestinians' election of Hamas in the 2006 elections,
and their missile war against Israel from Gaza in the aftermath of
Israel's complete withdrawal from Gaza in 2005, all made clear that
they are not interested in a Palestinian state. Rather, their chief
desire is Israel's annihilation.

Consequentially, there is no chance whatsoever that the two state
paradigm can work.

Indeed, the fact that there is no Palestinian leader willing to
recognize Israel's right to exist makes clear that if a Palestinian
state is established in Judea and Samaria – in addition to the de
facto Palestinian state in Gaza – that state will be in state of war
with Israel. All territory under its control will be used to attack
the rump Jewish state.

Given the abject failure of the two-state paradigm, it is abundantly
clear that for all the complications that may be associated with the
application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, it is a
better option for Israel than Israeli surrender of the areas.

Walsh's op-ed is not his first statement of support for Israeli
annexation. Last September, ahead of the UN general assembly, Walsh
authored Congressional Resolution 394 supporting Israel's right to
annex Judea and Samaria in the event that the Palestinians asked the
UN to recognize a Palestinian state outside the framework of a peace
treaty with Israel. Forty-four other congressmen co-sponsored the
resolution.

And this makes sense.

The Palestinians' decision to turn the issue of Palestinian statehood
over to the UN constituted a substantive breach of the treaties the
PLO signed with Israel. Those agreements stipulated that both sides
agreed that their conflict would be solved through negotiations and
not through unilateral actions. By ending negotiations with Israel and
turning the issue of statehood over to the UN, the Palestinians
canceled their treaties with Israel. Consequently, Israel is no longer
bound by those accords and is free to take its own unilateral actions,
including applying its laws to Judea and Samaria as it did in
Jerusalem and the Golan Heights in the past.

FOR HIS unstinting support for Israel, Walsh has been subject to an
unbridled assault by leftist American Jews. Ron Kampeas from JTA, for
instance, attacked Walsh, accusing him of being no different than
Israel's enemies who seek to destroy Israel by ending its ability to
define itself as a Jewish state through what they refer to as the
"one-state solution."

Kampeas blasted Walsh for suggesting that Palestinians unwilling to
live under Israeli rule could move to Jordan which, with its
75-percent Palestinian majority, is effectively the Palestinian state.
To back up his condemnation, Kampeas quoted Robert Wright's
excoriation of Walsh in The Atlantic.

There Wright wrote, "Offhand, I don't recall a member of Congress in
my lifetime saying anything so grotesquely at odds with American
ideals about ethnic relations and for that matter basic human rights."

For its part, the Jewish-run anti-Israel lobby J Street is mobilizing
its supporters to bring about Walsh's defeat in the November elections
by soliciting contributions to his Democratic challenger. J Street
executive director Jeremy Ben-Ami wrote that "Walsh's prescription
amounts to a call for an end to Israel as the democratic home of the
Jewish people."

It is hard to know where to begin a discussion of this assault in
which Jewish Americans attacked one of Israel's strongest supporters
simply because he had the temerity to recognize reality and call for
the US to support an Israeli victory against our enemies who seek our
destruction.

First, it is important to consider the claim that Walsh went against
the grain of American ideals by suggesting, "Those Palestinians who
wish to may leave their Fatah- and Hamas-created slums and move to the
original Palestinian state: Jordan. The British Mandate for Palestine
created Jordan as the country for the Palestinians. That is the only
justification for its creation. Even now, 75% of its population is of
Palestinian descent."

The fact of the matter is that the two-state paradigm rests on the
assumption that the Palestinian state will be ethnically cleansed of
Jews before it is established. Whereas Walsh somehow stands in
opposition to American ideals for suggesting that the Palestinians may
voluntarily immigrate to Jordan, Kampeas, Ben- Ami and their cohorts
have no problem with the concept of a Jew-free Palestine and the
forcible expulsion of up to 675,000 Jews from their homes in Judea,
Samaria and eastern Jerusalem simply because they are Jewish.

Aside from their pernicious hypocrisy and moral blindness, what stands
out in their assaults on Walsh is that they cannot tell the difference
between Israel's enemies that seek its destruction through the
so-called one-state solution, and Israel's friends, who want it to
defeat its enemies and live with security and peace. For the likes of
Kampeas and Ben-Ami, there is no difference between Walsh and Israel's
worst enemies.

PART OF this problem is their apparent unquestioning acceptance of the
myth of a demographic time bomb. They seem not to have noticed that
the Palestinian claim that by 2015 there will be an Arab majority west
of the Jordan River is a complete fabrication.

The truth is that if Israel applied its laws to Judea and Samaria
tomorrow and all the Palestinians in those areas received Israeli
citizenship, Israel would still retain a two-thirds Jewish majority.
Moreover, all the demographic trends for Israel, including increasing
birthrates and positive immigration rates, are positive. And all the
demographic trends for the Palestinians, including decreasing
birthrates and negative immigration rates, are negative. According to
Israeli demographic researcher Yoram Ettinger, by 2030, Jewish will
likely comprise 80% of the population of Israel, Judea and Samaria.

So Ben-Ami's argument that Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria
means the end of Israeli democracy is simply incorrect.

But aside from their hypocrisy and refusal to accept simple arithmetic
realities, what stands out most clearly in these leftist American
Jews' assault on Walsh is how they have become addicted to the fable
of the two-state solution. Their addiction to this fable – that argues
that after a century of Palestinian devotion to the annihilation of
Israel, the Palestinians are suddenly willing to meet Israel halfway –
is what propels these Jewish activists to attack anyone who points out
reality. It is what drives them to brand as a foe anyone with the
temerity to suggest a better way forward.

The beauty of the two-state fable is that it puts the onus to make
peace on Israel's shoulders.

If it is true that the Palestinians want to make peace, then Israel
must make peace. And if all the Palestinians require to make peace is
for Israel to quit Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem, then that is what
Israel must do, together with the 675,000 Jews who live there.

The real tragedy is of course not that the likes of Kampeas and
Ben-Ami maintain faith with the fairy tale of Palestinian willingness
to live at peace with Israel. The real tragedy is that this myth has
been the official policy of the government of Israel for the past 19
years. Since then prime minister Yitzhak Rabin launched the peace
process with Yasser Arafat in September 1993, to greater or lesser
degrees, every Israeli government has kept faith with the two-state
solution lie.

It hasn't mattered that the Palestinians rejected statehood and peace
not once, but twice. It hasn't mattered that the Palestinians received
Gaza lock, stock and barrel with no strings attached and used the
territory to launch an illegal missile war against Israeli civilians.
The fact that both Arafat and his supposedly moderate successor
Mahmoud Abbas rejected partition and maintained their devotion to
Israel's destruction did not stop Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu
from bowing to US pressure and embracing this fool's game.

People like Kampeas are the first to bemoan Israel's sorry state in
the realm of public diplomacy. They decry Israel's hasbara efforts as
pathetic and failed. But what they fail to acknowledge is that it is
the two-state trap that makes the construction and execution of an
effective public diplomacy strategy impossible.

To maintain faith with this failed policy, Israel's leaders and
representatives are not merely required to ignore the history of the
past 90 years of Palestinian rejection and aggression.
They are required to ignore current events.

They are forced to ignore not just what happened in 1947, but what
happened at 7 o'clock in the morning.

And this brings us back to Rep. Walsh. There may be things to
criticize about Walsh's policy argument. For instance, he calls for
the conferral of "limited voting power" on the Palestinians under
Israeli sovereignty. In truth, there is no reason for them to receive
anything but full voting rights.

But you have to be blind to reality to view him as anything other than
a friend of Israel.

Happily, not everyone in Israel remains paralyzed. Members of Knesset
have launched repeated attempts in recent months to debate legislation
calling for Israel to apply its sovereignty over all or parts of Judea
and Samaria. Next Wednesday, MK Miri Regev is holding a conference to
launch a new Knesset caucus calling for the adoption of this policy.

IN RECENT years, poll after poll has shown that the majority of
Israelis do not believe that the two-state paradigm will bring peace
or that if a Palestinian state is formed, it will live at peace with
Israel.

And yet, because of the choke-hold that Kampeas and Ben-Ami's Israeli
counterparts have held over the national discourse, the Israeli people
have been given no other option to consider. Rather, we have been told
over and over again that giving our enemies a veto over our rights,
land and security is the only alternative.

Walsh and the 44 congressmen who co-sponsored his resolution are
Israel's friends. We should take heart in their willingness to buck
consensus and support us. And we should give careful and responsible
consideration to their reasonable and supportive policy
recommendations.

bs"d More on the Great Assembly at Marienbad 1937 from "When Silence Is a Sin"

BS"D
From "When Silence Is A Sin"
Concering the 1937 Meeting In Marienbad
Here we see the great importance that the Lubavitcher Rebbe attaches to the concept of a pointed ruling on the subject of giving land for peace. On one occasion the Rebbe referred to a certain ruling which was issued a generation ago.

This is none other than the resolution of the "Great Assembly"[5] (5697-1937) which resolved that each and every compromise made regarding the Holy Land, which was given to us by the Holy One according to its boundaries,[6] is null and void.

These are the Rebbe's comments, on Motzoei Shabbos Mishpatim 5738 (1978):

The explicit ruling which was issued at the Great Assembly states that it is unequivocably forbidden to surrender even the tiniest particle of land within the boundaries of the Holy Land. It is astonishing that people do not publicize and proclaim this ruling in the greatest possible way. The fact that there are those who wish to conceal the ramifications of this ruling by concocting contrived interpretations of it, will be to no avail. This ruling is like every other Jewish law, for "the word of G-d will certainly endure."
The Rebbe concludes:

May it be G-d's Will that everyone will look at the Code of Jewish Law, chapter 329 (if they do not want to trust me), and they will see that the law is clear: it is forbidden to cede even a small piece of the Land of Israel to a non-Jew. The students and descendants of those Torah giants who participated in the Great Assembly in Marienbad should publicly proclaim to their students that they have a clear ruling instructing us how to conduct ourselves. They should continue spreading word of this until all the Jews know of the ruling."
The Rebbe even referred to those situations where there is nothing that can be done except protest:

Since we see that we have to contend with these people — it is a sign that our only concern must be to protest against their actions which are not in accordance with the Torah. They are in conflict with the Torah, and the ruling of the Code of Jewish Law, Laws of the Sabbath.[7] This law states that one must take up arms on the Sabbath and not allow the enemy to approach a border town. This law even applies outside of Israel, because the issue at hand has nothing to do with who the land belongs to, or the concept of not antagonizing the nations; the one and only reason for this ruling is the danger to the lives of large numbers of Jews, G-d forbid.
Regarding the effectiveness of a Rabbi's ruling, we may take note of the Rebbe's address of Sivan 28, 5746 (1986):

Every Rabbi in his respective generation is a leader in that generation — like a giant among knights; as the Prophet Shmuel was in his generation, or Moshe in his. When such a Rabbi issues a ruling of Jewish Law, it has an effect on the world — on the world, in such a way that the reality of the world shall conform to the ruling the Torah.[8]

Notes:

  1. (Back to text) See Page 59ff. The Rebbe's insistence upon the Rabbis' ruling is based upon the important distinction between regular court decisions and Rabbinic decisions. A decision based on Biblical instruction has the unique ability to affect the physical world, and change the course of normal events. See also note 83.

  2. (Back to text) Or, King of the Worlds. These are the opening words of the fifth hakafah circuit on Shemini Atzeres/Simchas Torah. The Rebbe thus explained the hakafah of Melech Olamim to be a particularly auspicious time for the Rabbis to issue rulings which can have a tangible impact in the world.

  3. (Back to text) Tractate Gittin 62a.

  4. (Back to text) This refers to an assembly of Torah leaders that took place in Marienbad, Czechoslovakia, in 1937. Attending were the (then) Gerrer Rebbe, the Alexander Rebbe, the Sadigerer Rebbe, and many other Torah giants including Rabbi Menachem Zemba, the Chief Rabbi of Warsaw, who died at the hands of the Nazis.

  5. (Back to text) In the Pentateuch, Bamidbar, ch. 34, G-d explicitly demarcates the boundaries of the Holy Land and allocates the entire area to the Jewish nation as an everlasting gift. This allocation was acknowledged by President Clinton when he was questioned in the Knesset in 1995. He was clearly shaken by this question. Yitzchak Rabin actually interjected trying to save the President from embarrassment.

  6. (Back to text) Ch. 329 states that if non-Jews besiege a border town where Jews live, then the Jews are required to desecrate the Sabbath to avoid its capture and the subsequent vulnerability of the rest of the country to open prey. "These people" referred to by the Rebbe, are the politicians and even religious leaders, who justify the ceding of parts of the Land of Israel, against the clear ruling in Chapter 329 of the Code of Jewish Law.

Brutal - no photographers allowed! - unrestrained violence reported against teenage girls ISRAELIS DEMOLISH JEWISH HOMES- INTOLERABLE!!!

bs"d

Why are Israeli armed forces attacking young idealistic religious teenage girls? These girls believe that Jews have a right to settle in all of our Biblical Homeland. The gov't of Israel is enforcing the "rule of law" that claims that Jews are occupiers and illegal.

Please forward. The only way to stop this kind of abuse on these kids is to report on it. Covering it up will only encourage more of the same abuse and destruction of Jewish Homes in Judea and Samaria.  We all have a responsibility to these teenagers who are risking attack.  We need to protest now in order that demolitions of this sort does not happen large scale.  This is a litmus test.  If we are Silent then government forces know they can get away with it.  If we protest loudly, and publicize, it will be much more difficult for them to do so.  Let us validate the struggle for our right to settle in all of our Biblical Homeland.

AMERICANS FOR A SAFE ISRAEL/AFSI  has consistently protested against the cruel, inhumane, and senseless demolition of Jewish homes. It is a Chilul HaShem of the highest order. We plead with the Israeli government to come to its senses and to stop these actions that only empower Israel's enemies. It is outrageous that Israel's most loyal and dedicated citizens must be subjected to the bullying and brutality of Israeli forces who should be fighting the enemy, not those dedicated to preserving Jewish homes and land. PLEASE - stop these actions NOW!!

Security Forces Victorious Over Teen Girls in Overnight Demolitions at Two Outposts
By: Yori Yanover
Published: May 17th, 2012

Security forces were brutal last night, clashing violently with teenage girls in two Jewish outposts.

In what could be a dress rehearsal for the evacuation and demolition of Ulpana Hill, Israeli security forces accompanied a bulldozer which overnight demolished a stone structure in the Ramat Migron outpost and two temporary structures in the Oz Zion outpost in the Benjamin region of Judea and Samaria. Clashes erupted during the demolition, between right-wing activists, most of them teenage girls, and security forces. The Tatzpit news agency reports that six activists were arrested, five of them girls.

Police, Border Guard and Civil Administration troops arrived at a little before midnight last night at the Ramat Migron Outpost in Benjamin region, with a bulldozer.

Dozens of right-wing activists flocked to the scene to protest the planned destruction. The outpost was celebrating a wedding that night, of a young man and woman who are both local residents.

Protected by the troops, the bulldozer, which was using the path that had been cleared in preparation for the wedding, proceeded to level a stone structure, which was home to the boys living in the outpost.
After the successful destruction of the building in Ramat Migron, the forces left the area and moved toward the Oz Zion outpost, where they were met by and clashed with several right-wing activists, all of them teens. Despite the teens' resistance, the security forces demolished two temporary structures.
According to the Tatzpit report, six teens were arrested during the clashes, including five girls.

The agency reports that government forces were brutal in their treatment of the protesting teenagers, using unrestrained violence. Some of the girls are reported to have been injured. The Oz Etzion outpost is considered a closed military zone and reporters were not allowed in to cover the clashes. Photographers were attacked by police with blinding projectors that prevented covering the violence.

As has been their habit in such confrontations, the Border Guard policemen did not wear their name tags on their uniforms-a violation of police regulations-and only agreed to reveal them after being pressed to do so by reporters.

Some police covered their faces with bandanas throughout the operation.

A local resident told the Tatzpit agency: "It appears that police intelligence discovered our plan to build a new home in Israel, and decided to try to destroy our celebration. In the past we've observed this pattern of the police, to commit their destruction just when we celebrate a joyful wedding or an engagement of local residents. But we will not be deterred."
