Not Guarding the 3 Mitzvoth in the Torah also called אות harms Israel's Security and National Strength. We need a Defense Minister that values Divine Protection.

Here is some facts of the ground leading up to this terror attack.... Can we honestly look ourselves in the mirror and not say ידינו לא שפכו את הדם הזה
Jewish Press January 19, 2018 page 27 The Right Angle by Sara Lehmann on Ahed Temimi provoking Israel soldiers...
...The humiliated soldiers in Nabi Salih had no wish to become additional sacrificial video victims in cyberspace court. Or worse, in the military court of the IDF. Azaria's abandonment by his military superiors and by Israel's president was enough to cause any soldier to bear the slaps and kicks of a teenage girl rather than defend himself and the honor of Israel. In what can be called the Azaria Effect, an IDF Behavioral Research unit last year found that only 41 percent of combat soldiers have confidence that their commanders would back them up after an error made during field operations. An excerpt from the study obtained by Haaretz read, "it can be assumed that these findings were influenced by the events with Elor Azaria." This lamentable but understandable reaction in the part of soldiers is an incredibly dangerous one. Not only because it contributes to diminished protection of Israeli citizens but also because it contributes to the tarnishing of Israel's image. Negative media leads directly to negative consequences on the ground.

Israeli shoots dead Palestinian after group of children comes under attack
IDF says settler shot a Palestinian in the chest after large crowd of locals from Qusra near Nablus began throwing rocks at a group of Israeli children visiting the area; Samaria Regional Council describes attempted 'lynch against a group of tourists' while Yesh Din claims man was toiling the land before being shot.
Keren Perlman, the mother of one of the children, said her son told her the Palestinians "sprayed pepper spray into the cave" the children were hiding in. "They took their bags, equipment and candy," she added.
"He also told me many children made vows, about the feeling of imminent death, about (children) saying the 'Shema Yisrael' prayer, and about heart-rending crying," Perlman added.
She criticized the IDF for taking too long to arrive to the children's aid. "It took the army an hour and a half. An hour and a half in which the children hid in a crumbling cave with hundreds of Arabs above them. An hour and a half of the heroic parents standing at the entrance, enduring beatings and stones to protect the children, and the army just didn't bother showing up," she lamented.
Failure on the part of Israel to provide adequate security in Judea and Samaria has prompted expressions of protest. The following parody of a soldier on guard duty, under attack, ridiculously calling up his commanders waiting for instructions illustrates how absurd the situation can become. Viewing Ahed Temimi in video above slapping IDF soldiers without immediate repurcussions however sadly shows that this parody was not all that off . 2 soldiers who were shot after obeying rules of engagement being overly cautious with terrorists is more proof that the leadership is at fault.
A soldier waiting for his commanders to give him permission to defend himself. (hypothetical)

How can Am Yisroel do Teshuva? Collectively let us raise awareness that the hand of Tzahal in Judea and Samaria are often tied due to political considerations. The lives of the Chayalim and residents of Judea and Samaria can not be hefker!
Here are some ideas that have been offered to create Facts on the Ground that will help the Security situation in Judea and Samaria to bring a long and lasting peace!
- Pessure the powers at large to Pardon Elor Azarya prosecuted by the IDF military court.
- Instruct IDF to confiscate cameras there to put our soldiers in a bad light
- Instruct IDF to treat enemy children, pregnant women, disabled etc with extreme caution as if they are ready to detonate in a suicide mission and not with restraint and compassion lest we fall into their trap.
- Implement the Death sentence for terrorists who have Jewish blood on their hands
- Stop PA stipends to Terrorists and their families
- Monitor and stop the hate education and brainwashing, incitement of terror of Palestinian children in all schools including schools funded by USA like UNRWA
- Immediately have the IDF remove billboards etc that incite terror and if the IDF turns a blind eye, don't be surprised or upset when Residents of Judea and Samaria take the matter into their own hands to bring down those billboards.
- Make sure IDF comes quickly when children go on a Tiyul and are threatened, It should not take over an hour.
- Don't accuse the Settlers of taking their security into their own hands and force them to rely on the IDF when their hands have been tied to do the job effectively
- Normalize Jewish Settlement in Judea and Samaria not only Havat Gilad! Do not demolish the homes in Netiv HaAvot!!!! Shame on us for the demolitions of homes in Amona and Netiv Aryeh etc.

Defense MInister Lieberman. Is looking into recognizing Havat Gilad alone really going to change the Security failures in Judea and Samaria?
Lieberman: Look into recognizing Havat Gilad as legal settlement
...Speaking at Shevach's funeral, the head of the Samaria Regional Council, Yossi Dagan, berated the government for failing to install security cameras in the area, despite repeated pleas by residents of the Yitzhar settlement for this to be done, and called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Liberman to immediately recognize the outpost as a legal settlement.
"At this moment, I must make a difficult statement, but it is my duty to say it. Raziel was murdered on a road on which, despite repeated promises [by the government], security cameras had not yet been installed. If they had been, these vile murderers would have been caught," he said.
Some mourners called for revenge at the funeral, which was attended by hundreds of people including ministers and chief rabbis.
....Bennett made political demands of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calling on him to ensure that Palestinian Authority payments to terrorists cease, to recognize Havat Gilad as a legal settlement and to impose Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.
But as he was issuing his last demand, angry voices in the crowd of mourners began to shout "Vengeance," chanting the word rhythmically and drowning out Bennett's words.
The minister said in response that though he understood the pain of those chanting "Vengeance," the only answer to Shevach's murder could be through IDF actions and to build more settlements.
My comments: If government decisions and IDF actions are inadequate the necessary security steps have not been put in place to stop the terror, what does Bennett expect the Settlers to do to protect their lives?
