Robin,
The latest undercover video from James O'Keefe's Project Veritas shows the home page editor of the New York Times admitting that the paper leans left and that it's "too difficult" to be objective. She says they give readers what they want – Trump bashing – because it has boosted subscriptions, and that's the main objective, which you do in "any way that you can." She thinks Trump is an "oblivious idiot" and Mike Pence isn't fit for a leadership position because of his Christian religious beliefs. Oh, and the Times tried to affect the results of the election by focusing on attacking Trump
Not a single thing there that surprises me, but it is nice to hear them finally admit it. Now, I'll just sit back and wait for Democrats to demand a special prosecutor to look into alleged collusion between the Clinton campaign and the media to interfere with the results of the election. But until that happens, I'm not going to refuse to eat or anything.
Sincerely,
Mike Huckabee
Mike Pence's morality guidelines
By Mike Huckabee
When Vice President Mike Pence said that he makes it a point never to eat alone with a woman other than his wife or to attend events that serve alcohol without her, he became the target of massive scorn and ridicule from the Hollywood liberal celebrity set. You know, the same people we've recently discovered were covering up for Harvey Weinstein or engaging in similar activities themselves. Suddenly, Mike Pence's respect for his wife and avoidance of sexually-charged situations doesn't seem so uncool, does it?

Scandal: American uranium to Putin
By Mike Huckabee
This could turn into the biggest political scandal of the decade, if the media actually deign to cover it. According to new reports by The Hill and the Circa news site, there was collusion between Russian interests and a leading US Presidential candidate, but it wasn't Donald Trump. The Hill reveals that a controversial decision by the Obama Administration, okayed by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, to sell 20% of America's uranium supply to the Russian state-owned company Rosatom came despite an FBI investigation at the time uncovering "substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin's atomic energy business inside the United States."

Media: we're on to you!
By Mike Huckabee
As a sort of postscript to our story about the latest documentary release by Project Veritas, Part 3 of the undercover video AMERICAN PRAVDA, a new poll shows that almost half of Americans --- 47 percent --- believe the news media create stories to make President Trump look bad. Only 37 percent disagreed with that statement. Among Republicans, who are obviously paying more attention, 75 percent believe some stories are fabricated.
When a news organization goes so far as to proclaim that Trump called for a tenfold increase in our nuclear weapons arsenal, the fakeness of the news is pretty darn obvious. The news media, in their increasing desperation to hurt Trump, are mostly hurting themselves.

Trump Decertifies Iran Deal, Sanctions IRGC
In a very clear and powerful speech last Friday, President Donald Trump outlined a new, tougher U.S. policy toward Iran, which included decertifying the Iran deal. (Speech transcript)
Under the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015 (commonly called the Corker-Cardin law), the President must certify to Congress every 90 days that certain conditions regarding the nuclear deal with Iran (JCPOA) have been met.
One of those conditions is that the sanctions relief granted under the JCPOA is "appropriate and proportionate to the specific and verifiable measures taken by Iran with respect to terminating its illicit nuclear program."
President Trump determined that given Iranian behavior, including their refusal to allow international inspectors to access military sites where nuclear work is being done, he could not certify that.
Pres. Trump also authorized the Treasury Department to sanction the entire Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). This finally holds the IRGC accountable for its primary role in "implementing Iran's international program of destabilizing activities, support for acts of international terrorism, and ballistic missile program."
These actions are a much-needed change in U.S. policy and mark an important first step on one of Pres. Trump's biggest campaign promises.

U.S. to Withdraw from UNESCO
The Washington Post reports:
The United States will withdraw from UNESCO at the end of next year, the State Department said Thursday, to stop accumulating unpaid dues and make a stand on what it said is anti-Israel bias at the U.N.'s educational, science and cultural organization.
In notifying UNESCO of the decision Thursday morning, the State Department said it would like to remain involved as a nonmember observer state. That will allow the United States to engage in debates and activities, though it will lose its right to vote on issues. The Israeli government is preparing to step down from UNESCO as well.
UNESCO's actions have long demonstrated an anti-Israel bias; two recent resolutions denied Israel's legal and historical claims to the city of Jerusalem and designated the Old City of Hebron, including the Tomb of the Patriarchs, as an "endangered world heritage site" located in "Palestine."
After the announcement that the U.S. would withdraw from UNESCO, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) introduced a resolution reaffirming the historic connection of the Jewish people to Jerusalem.
U.S. Ambassador to the United Nation Nikki Haley warned that other UN agencies are also under scrutiny. Amb. Haley has already told the UN Human Rights Council that unless it carries out significant reforms, including ending its anti-Israel bias, the U.S. could leave the council.
Given the current membership of the UNHRC, that anti-Israel bias is unlikely to end soon. This week the UN elected 15 new members of the UNHRC, including human rights abusers who fail to meet the UN's own criteria for membership in the council: Afghanistan, Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Qatar.
Fatah's Azzam al-Ahmad, right, and Saleh al-Arouri of Hamas, left, shake hands after signing a reconciliation deal in Cairo on October 12, 2017.
Palestinian Factions Sign Unity Accord
Representatives of the rival Fatah and Hamas Palestinian factions have signed a reconciliation agreement in Cairo. According to media reports, the West Bank-based Palestinian Authority (Fatah) will resume full control of the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip by December 1.
The Trump administration warned that Hamas must disarm if it wants to play a role in a future Palestinian unity government. Jason Greenblatt, President Trump's special representative for international negotiations, said, "Any Palestinian government must unambiguously and explicitly commit to nonviolence, recognize the state of Israel, accept previous agreements and obligations between the parties -– including to disarm terrorists -- and commit to peaceful negotiations,"
Israel likewise stated that it "will not conduct diplomatic negotiations with a Palestinian government that relies on Hamas, a terrorist organization calling for the destruction of Israel" unless it fulfills a set of conditions, including returning the IDF fallen and Israeli civilians held by Hamas, and Hamas severing its ties with Iran.

Re: This is a scam? By Kirsten Gillibrand. My comments
Friends –
Let's make one thing clear: The Republican tax plan is nothing but a massive tax cut for the rich and big corporations.
They're not trying to help middle-class families. They just want to reward special interests and wealthy donors with an early Christmas list of tax giveaways:
- Trillions of dollars in tax cuts for corporations that hide money overseas
- A brand-new tax loophole for the super wealthy to avoid payroll taxes
- The elimination of the estate tax, which only benefits millionaires and billionaires
And they'll pay for it all by slashing investments in health care, education and infrastructure, and even raising taxes on some middle-class families.
This is a scam that will hurt everyday Americans, and we need to show that we aren't falling for it. Add your name now to tell Congress: Don't pass the GOP's harmful tax plan!
Click here to tell Congress: Reject the GOP's harmful tax plan!
We stopped the repeal of the Affordable Care Act, and we can stop this, too. Thanks for making your voice heard.
Kirsten
