NEW YORK, November 10, 2016

By Tova Lazaroff

President-elect Donald Trump does not condemn Jewish building over the pre-1967 lines, nor does he believe in dictating the terms of any peace deal between the Israelis and Palestinian, a close legal advisor, Jason Greenblatt, told Army Radio on Thursday morning.

"Mr. Trump does not view the settlements as being an obstacle for peace," Greenblatt said.

He described a US policy with regard to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that is 180 degrees different from that of past administrations, either Democrat or Republican.

Trump's views, he said, come from the past example of the 2005 Israeli demolition of 21 settlements in Gaza and four in northern Samaria. That withdrawal did not bring peace but rather was a precursor to a Hamas takeover of Gaza and three wars with Israel.

"He is not going to impose any solution on Israel. He will move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem"

"The two sides are going to have to decide how to deal with that region, but it's certainly not Mr. Trump's view that settlement activity should be condemned and that it's an obstacle for peace – because it is not the obstacle for peace."

"He is not going to impose any solution on Israel. He thinks that the peace has to come from the parties themselves. Any meaningful contribution he can offer up, he is there to do,  it is not his goal, nor should it be anyone else's goal, to impose peace on the parties," said Greenblatt.

With regard to Israel's larger security issues, Greenblatt said that the newly elected president "thinks that Israel is in a very tough situation and needs to defend itself as it needs to defend itself."

With regard to Trump's pre-election promise that he would relocate the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Greenblatt said he expected that the pledge would be fulfilled.

"I think he said it, he is going to do it. He is a man who keep this word. He recognizes the historical significance of the Jewish people to Jerusalem, unlike UNESCO," Greenblatt said.

Trump won't be like his predecessors, Greenblatt said. "He is different for Israel than any recent president has been.

Greenblatt also addressed a question about whether he could be the Middle East envoy in the Trump administration.

"It's a little too soon to tell. I would be honored and privileged to serve in that kind of role. It would be an incredible opportunity and a bracha (blessing)," he said.

Trump's Victory - A Heeding....Where the fine line between Building Bridges and the Pursuit of Justice should not erased.

bs"d

Let us sing Hallel!  Let us Praise the L-rd! A Miracle!

Ma ashiv- How Can I Repay-(Psalm 116:12-19)
 תהילים קטז: יב-יט מָה-אָשִׁיב לַיהוָה

I feel like Hashem gave us a 2nd chance.  This election was a very close call between Life and Death.  The scales were very even and somehow it tipped just a bit on the side of Life and Trump won, not by very much but by enough.

We have bought some time to do good and really tip the scales to the side of  truth and life.

Our prayers did not go unanswered.

Many of us were terrified.  The world has been on a trajectory of grave danger if the Democratic Establishment continued on its path.   The terrible corruption, the rise of ISIS and IRAN under Obama's Administration and under Hillary's leadership was threatening not only Israel but the entire world. The establishment was awash with corrupt deals that tainted the purist of souls.

I listened to Trump's conciliatory victory speech.  It was subdued. It was humble.  He pledged to be a President of all the people. To unify the Nation. It lacked the arrogance the bravado.  He thanked his parents, his siblings, his wife and his children.  He thanked all that helped him in his campaign.  The pitch was right. It was not gloating. He spoke of his vision for America....

Now it's time for America to bind the wounds of division; have to get together. To all Republicans and Democrats and independents across this nation, I say it is time for us to come together as one united people.
(APPLAUSE)
It's time. I pledge to every citizen of our land that I will be president for all Americans, and this is so important to me.
(APPLAUSE)
For those who have chosen not to support me in the past, of which there were a few people. . .
(LAUGHTER)
. . . I'm reaching out to you for your guidance and your help so that we can work together and unify our great country,,,,.

It greatly impressed me as it did many American's.  I was wondering who wrote this speech... Was this the Donald we knew?

Then I listened to Hillary's speech. It was gracious.  It talked about how one must continue to fight for what is right and for one's values and beliefs.  How she was a women who was a champion for the rights of young girls and women to achieve their full potential.  She talked how her vision was to be President for all the people of all races, sexes, immigrants etc.  You can see the deep pain of her supporters at their loss crying.

And I listened to President Obama speak how he has had setbacks and successes and you need to pick up and carry on.  He spoke of America's tradition to carry on a smooth transition from one administration to the next and pledged he would as well. He hoped that Trump would be the President of all the people and he told his administration that the sun will shine and to continue in pursuing the legacy of his administration for which they toiled because we are one people.

It was intoxicating...The acceptance,  the love, where no one gets left behind... No one is left out in the cold, everyone is represented. Conciliatory...

Where did this consistent line of thought coming from?

I saw this youtube of CNN Coverage entitled DEMOCRATS FREAKING OUT OVER DONALD TRUMP WINNING ELECTION!!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyrE6aO1nHY a CNN live analysis of election returns as it was happening.

I listened a bit to an African American pro Clinton political analyst describe his deep pain when he realized that Trump probably would win... (see 5:40 on in link above)

I think I then figured out what triggered Trump's conciliatory tone in his Victory speech. It was to reassure,  to allay the fears of those who felt as did this African American.

African American Pro Clinton analyst describes his heartfelt feelings towards a Trump win.

He firsts congratulated the 2 panel Republicans analysts for  Trump's outstanding performance.  Then he said

"There is another side of this.  People are talking about a miracle.  I am hearing about a nightmare.  It's hard to be a parent for us for a lot of us.  You tell your kids don't be a bully, you tell your kids don't be a bigot, you tell your kids do your homework and be prepared, and then you have this outcome and you have people putting their children to bed tonight and they are afraid of breakfast.  They are afraid, how do I explain this to my children.  I have Muslim friends who are texting me tonight saying should I leave the country... I have families of immigrants who are terrified tonight.  ....this was a white lash.  This was a white lash against a changing country...it was a white lash against a black president in part.. and that is where the part comes in .. and Donald Trump has a responsibility to reassure people that he will be the President of all the people he insulted and offended and brushed aside..and yeah...when you say you want to take your country back you got a lot of people who feel that we are not represented well either. And we don't want to feel that someone has been elected by throwing away some of us in order to appeal more deeply to others.  This is a deeply painful moment tonight.  I know this is not just about race.. there is more going on than that.  but race is here too and we have to talk about it. "

Pro Trump political analyst responds to the above remarks:

Donald Trump reached across lines that Republican's candidates didn't make before. He reached out directly to the African American community, he made a direct appeal to a whole group of voters, the entire inner city who have been left behind who haven't heard from candidates in decades from either sides of the aisle. ..

Pro Clinton African American responds:

Listen, we need to hold hands here. This is going to be tough. We are going to see if those people heard it the way you heard it and voted for him....There are some in your party who voted against political correctness and for some of them it is a vote against these others...and we are going to need your vote to heal that...If i can't acknowledge the elitism in my party, and you can't acknowledge the bigotry in your party we can't get there. ...

Another Political analyst  responds Republicans are looking at the Obama Legacy and how to undo it. ..

Other pro Hillary Political analyst...This country is deeply divided...   The pain is so spectacular...

Here is my analysis:

The message of unity and conciliation is important but not to the extent of becoming intoxicated where the line is erased and one can no long differentiate between judging criminal, immoral  activity and choosing unconditional loving accepting kindness.

How does one understand the difference of  being racist and bigoted and judging right from wrong.

Hillary as well,  clearly wants to stay true to her vision of right and wrong. She said as much.  She wants her values to be a model for all women and children.   In the process there are those who are bound to fall outside her representation. Her truth and the truth of the progressive liberal leftist Democrats are perceived as a G-dly truth lehavdil and they will worship and defend it to the end.  This applies to women's right to abortion or the rights of the LGBT lifestyle to be treated as a moral equivalent lifestyle.

She is proud to represent Muslim human rights and  human rights for migrants of Muslim "faith", even when their teachings are often mutually exclusive of Judeo Christian morals and teachings. She and her party and her supporters will defend the human rights of all Palestinian people who have been suffering under the "Occupation" of Israel that has yet to be fact rather than myth.  In the process they defend terrorists who happen to be women and children  who have been indoctrinated with hate to destroy innocent Jews and especially Jewish Settlement in Judea and Samaria over the rights of Jewish families to settle peacefully in their Biblical and ancestral homeland in Judea and Samaria.

This  is  a self chosen G-dly (lehavdil),  ethical and moral understanding of Right and wrong.   They fight for it till the very end. The way they defend the Palestinian lie is apparent in their chant "Aggression (terror) is justified when Palestine is Occupied. "

Since these ethical and moral values are mutually exclusive of those who voted for Trump it is impossible to represent all the people...for either side. Each side will accept all the people who agree with their perception of what is moral and ethical.  Both sides will throw out others from their camp when they do not conform with their form of worship (be it a true or false form of worship).

So how do we define what is a true form of worship aka Universal Morality? What is criteria by which we define what is right and wrong and when or not something is criminal or baseless bigotry?

The key to understanding Universal Morality from the beginning of time has been the 7 Noahide Laws upon whose foundation our Nation has been built.  It is upon these foundation principles which all values from all faiths are built.

Universal Morality The Seven Noahide Laws http://www.chabad.org/therebbe/article_cdo/aid/62221/jewish/Universal-Morality.htm

When there are those in a society who deviate from these 7 fundamental Universal Laws which was the Covenant that G-d made with Noah, that is when society must bring them to justice and sometimes that means to  exclude them, to punish them, and not to be intimidated with accusations of bigotry and elitism and racism.

Universal Morality is the barometer of whether or not to justly exclude others.   When an individual or a society behaves in a manner that violates any of the 7 Noahide Laws then society becomes corrupt.  It is then incumbent upon that society to bring the deviants to justice and abolish the behavior.

Otherwise,  when G-d's Law for mankind is trampled upon, the foundations of the entire earth is at risk.

Heaven and earth are witnesses.

The deluge, the Mabul, occurred because the entire land was filled with Hamas.  Thievery.  LInes of Morality were crossed. Species failed to keep within their prescribed limits. This destructive force was so pervasive that the entire world had to be submerged under water as if in a Mikva, a ritual bath, and  destroyed.

Don't be fooled by those who crossed the line and beg to be embraced and to be accepted with everyone else.

They too would not accept those who do not accept their form of (false) worship.

Don't be fooled by those who will call you a bigot or a racist for not accommodating them if they engaged in criminal and/or immoral activity.

We are required to bring them to justice. It is one of the Noahide Laws.

No one lives forever.  Every individual will be judged.  We believe that it is better to be judged for our misdeeds in this world that to be judged in the Heavenly Court.  It is not only about the immediate consequences. It is also the repurcussions of our sin that effected the entire universe that we will be shown. Each Jew is a guarantor for a fellow Jew.  We are doing the sinner a service by stopping them from sinning.  We do them a terrible disservice  and to society by allowing them to continue their path of evil.

When Pharaoh was the only survivor of the Egyptian people after the crossing of the Red Sea, he acknowledged that there is a just G-d.  So too will all the people of the world.

Praising G-d includes bringing Justice

Psalms 149

149:1 Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.
149:2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
149:3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
149:4 For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
149:5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
149:6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
149:7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
149:8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
149:9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

8 To bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron.

ח לֶאְסֹּר מַלְכֵיהֶם בְּזִקִּים וְנִכְבְּדֵיהֶם בְּכַבְלֵי בַרְזֶל:

9 To execute upon them a written judgment; that will be splendor to all His pious ones. Hallelujah!

ט לַעֲשׂוֹת בָּהֶם | מִשְׁפָּט כָּתוּב הָדָר הוּא לְכָל חֲסִידָיו הַלְלוּיָהּ:

Conclusion:

Sometimes, criminals, even if they are Kings or nobles, belong behind bars.
