bs"dRob, amv"shRob, Are you still in Manhigut? To the others, Please forgive the harsh nature of this email. I probably am affected by the current events but many of these points have been on my mind for a while.Manhigut has a great base. The most passionate, sincere, idealistic crew and I am sure all of you fall into this mold. Yet often and Feiglin has pointed out, power and success leads us down the wrong path.I thought the webinar was an infomercial lacking substance. It seemed to me as an observer that Zehut doesn't hold their supporters with much esteem with thinking minds.I think Zehut should have paid attention to my comments prior to the webinar...Arieh, unfortunately, the little of the Webinar that I heard didn't impress me. I missed the beginning and only heard about it from a friend.IMHO Feiglin is going off the Derech. For Starters and Nobody is asking my opinion... but I am wary of the Name Zehut. I would suggest the name Zehut Yehudit rather than just Zehut. Zehut alone opens itself to misinterpretation to alternative interpretations of Zehut. Maybe this is intentional to be all encompassing to broaden Zehut's base. It comes with a watering down price....the goal of our enemies...For now Feiglin is emphasizing Zehut Yehudit... who knows what he will be saying down the line and a distorted Zehut will be his platform Chas VeShalom!I imagine the webinar is getting much negative feedback from his long standing hard core supporters and much support from those who see an opportunity to neutralize him and his positions. Of course I could be paranoid unjustifiably.Zehut is asking supporters to follow Feiglin's leadership blindly and contribute to his campaign, Their emphasis is on fundraising no different than most politicians.Feiglin promises to be strong when he is electedMany of his die hard supporters have ideals and expect him to prove himself strong before.he earns their support and trust. We are fighting an existential battle. The comparison of the cost of a banana to cost of membership to Zehut in a light hearted fundraising attempt rubs me the wrong way...It's trivializes what we are facing. In normal times it's cute. I am in no mood to be amused right now.http://www.jewishpress.com/news/breaking-news/drive-by-shooting-attack-on-road-60-in-south-hebron-hills-1-dead-3-wounded/2016/07/01/I am writing this email following the murder of Hallel Yaffa Ariel hy"d and the terror attack against the Mark Family of Otniel hy"dAl Eila Ani Bochiya....Regarding choosing between Trump and Hillary, the way you pulled in all the subscribers to the webinar....Not being able to discern the good of Trump and the evil of Hillary is very troublesome.Sure both have good and evil but there is a very obvious divide between good and evil and not being able to discern it is poor judgement and reeks of being overly PC. Maybe the new emphasis of PR of ZEHUT is blinding judgement....There are times when one has to take a stand and Feiglin has on more than one occasion. That is why people admire him..Feiglin has shown leadership with Har HaBayit. One of the Ariel family members made it a point to connect this terror attack with strengthening our connection to Har HaBayit. On the other hand, Feiglin has failed to acknowledge and recognize strong leadership of others when it's deserved. This seems to indicate being self centered and unable to share the limelight for the better good. IT may be a flaw in Feiglin which is understandable since we are all human but must be tempered to succeed.Trump came out saying he would support Settlement growth in Judea and Samaria and that he would protect the infiltration of unvetted migrants. In an interview Feiglin agreed with him but doesn't seem to publicly acknowledge and give Trump credit. The webinar was an opportunity to have brought this up. Hillary is enmeshed with scandal after scandal with Huma Abedein her close advisors, money coming through her ears from evil sources and Feiglin can't seem to address it in this webinar either. The webinar was basically an infomercial with some good points regarding Am Levadod Yishkon, Israel at times must dwell alone only depending on G-d.This flaw, an unwillingness to give credit where credit is due and bring out the best of others, will then make it difficult down the road to get others to acknowledge and give credit to Feiglin. It will prevent him from forming alliances when he needs it and when it is absolutely necessary to succeeed..Feiglin made a big mistake when he denounced Trump in the primaries. I also believe his policy to denounce Evangelical Christians and missionaries in the past, making it a point to refuse their contributions is another example. IT is a very hurtful position as they often contribute lishma, without an agenda of miss-ionizing.He tends to put down his competition who are closest to him in ideology without giving them proper recognition when due, and instead gives the impression that he will align himself with those who are way out left field. Without proper discernment, he can alienate some of Israel's greatest supporters in the Jewish and non Jewish world. While I admire and agree with his rejection of J as the Messiah I still acknowledge that there is a love among them, many very Righteous Gentiles, for Israel.Let him distinguish between Noahides, those who accept the 7 Noahide Laws, Universal Morality and those who clearly do not who seem to be empowered by the likes of Obama and Hillary)Hillary together with the Obama Administration is bedded with Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood who are clear examples of those who do not accept the 7 Noahide Laws..Not sure who is advising Feiglin or whether he is leading the team or whether his advisers have been encouraging him to lead in a direction Feiglin has chosen that ultimately will be Zehut's downfall..---------- Forwarded message ----------

Fyi: Trump makes a statement against terror 2x. Whitehouse is silent
Fwd: A Tikun for the Sin of the Spies......
bs"d
This week, Parshat Shlach recounts the story of the Spies who spoke negatively about
the Land of Israel.
In a 1908 letter, Rav Avraham Yitzchak Hakohen Kook, the first Chief Rabbi of Israel, wrote that we still suffer for this catastrophic error. The root cause for the exiles and humiliations of the Jewish people is due to our failure to correct the sin of the spies.
How can we rectify the sin of the spies?
To repair this national failure, a teshuvat hamishkal is needed, a penance commensurate to the sin that will 'balance the scales.'
The Spies defamed the Land of Israel.
We must do the opposite, and show our unwavering love for the Land.
We must declare to the entire world the Land of Israel's magnificence and beauty, its holiness and grandeur. If only we could express even a ten thousandth of the desirability of the beloved land, and splendorous light of its Torah and the superior light of its wisdom and prophecy!!! (Igrot HaRe'iyah)
Let Parshat Shlach be the opportunity for a new emphasis of the entire Jewish people on repairing the sin of the Spies, arousing our love and appreciation for Hashem's gift of the Land of Israel, the myriad of miracles He has done by returning us to our Land and blessing it with spiritual and physical blossoming.
Let us make Eretz Yisrael a central focus in our lives.
WHY DID MOSHE DESIRE TO ENTER THE LAND OF ISRAEL?
Rav Simlai taught, Why did Moshe Rabbeinu desire to enter Eretz Yisrael.? Did he need to eat its fruit or to enjoy its good produce? No... Moshe said, "The Jews were commanded to do many mitzvot, which can only be performed in Eretz Yisrael." He wanted to go to Eretz Yisrael to fulfill those mitzvot (Sotah 14).
KISSING THE ROCKS OF ACCO
The Talmud records that Rabbi Abba would demonstrate his great love for the Land of Israel by kissing the rocks of Acco. (Ketubot 112a). What was so special about these rocks that Rabbi Abba would kiss them?
Rav Kook explained that if Rabbi Abba had kissed the soil of EretzYisrael, we would understand that his love for the Land was due to the special mitzvot that are fulfilled with its fruit — tithes, first fruits, the Sabbatical year, and so on. The soil, which produces fruit, signifies the importance and holiness of the Land through the mitzvot ha-teluyot ba'aretz (the mitzvot which can only be performed in Israel)
But Rabbi Abba's love for the Land was not even dependent on its special mitzvot!. Rabbi Abba cherished the intrinsic holiness of Eretz Yisrael. He recognized that the special qualities of the Land – such as its receptivity to prophecy and enlightenment — go far beyond the holiness of those mitzvot connected to agriculture.
Therefore, he made a point of kissing its barren rocks and stones. (Malachim Kivnei Adam)
And now, two thousand years later, as our ancient prophecies of our Prophets are fulfilled before our eyes, we have more opportunity than ever to fulfill the mitzva of the love and yearning for Eretz Yisrael.

Fwd: Shalom Pollack insights on Hallel Yaffa Ariel murder by Palestinian Martyr whose mother is so proud of him....

My son is a hero," she says. "My son died as a martyr defending Jerusalem and the al-Aqsa Mosque. Praise be to God, he is united with the martyrs before him, and he is not better than them. God willing, all of them will follow this path, all the youth of Palestine."
Another proud Palestinian" mom.
IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) are investigating how 19-year old terrorist Mohammad Tarairah, from the village of Bani Naim near Hebron, managed to climb the fence surrounding Kiryat Arba and enter the settlement.
Tarairah had no obstructions when he the entered into the Ariel family's house, and killed 13-year old Hallel Yaffa while she slept in her bed.
Tarairah's, according to his proud mom was just doing what should be expected from a true son of"Palestine" should do.
Every element of his society has created this monster and surely many more will follow in his wake.
There can not be a sharper dichotomy between two societies living side by side.
We build they destroy.
We nourish, they poison
We pray for peace
They hope for destruction.
We make a garden of Eden from waste land, they create waste land where there was desert.
This is true in every part of the world and has nothing to do with "Jerusalem or al Aksa.."
It is so simple and clear that it is an embarrassment for the sophisticated "moral relativism" professors.
The Torah observed the phenomenon from the very beginning:
"A wild ass among men(Ishmael); his hand shall be against every man, and every man's hand against him. And he shall dwell over against all his brethren" (Genesis 16:12).
It is not acceptable that a entire culture is just plain bad and has nothing to offer the world. There must be an enlightened explanation; some fault that we can pin on ourselves.. or better yet, on the Jews.
Here too our Rabbis have identified the situation: " Esau hates Jacob - it is the law". So much for the enlightened professors
When it comes to the Jews, the laws of history and fair play do not apply.
I understand the enemies of the Jewish people wether they are of Ishmael, Esau . It is in their genes. It is not about logic
What continues to sadden, disappoint and interest me most are the Jewish enemies of the Jewish people.
This too is an ancient phenomenon, at least from the time that a Jew informed on Moses to the Egyptian authorities.
During the "holy month of Ramadan" Muslims are known to be more prone to violence. I know it is an oxymoron but it is what it is Perhaps fasting daily for a month makes them irritable..
It wasn't a surprise then that this week Muslim "worshipers" on Temple Mount attacked Jewish visitors.
Why not?
The Israeli police exercising their full authority, solved the problem; once again, they expelled all Jews from the mount for the rest of the week.
Hey, if the Jews weren't there the rocks would have no place to strike right?
Two days ago there was a near lynch of eight Jews in Ramallah. "Nine Israelis were successfully rescued from Ramallah, after they entered the city Wednesday night, the IDF said Thursday. The Israelis were not harmed, but the vehicles they used to enter Ramallah were destroyed by rioters.
The Israelis were members of a leftist group who had gone to Ramallah to join in an iftar (post-Ramadan feast) meal. The group had been invited by members of a Palestinian group, and they entered Ramallah through the Kalandiya crossing. Late Wednesday, IDF officials got word that a riot was erupting in Ramallah and that Israeli cars were being stoned. An IDF unit entered Ramallah and quickly removed the Israelis, who feared that the Arab mob was set to attack them."
Now, I understand the enemy. It has been foretold even though it is not logical. But what about Jews who consort and abet the enemy and never learn?
Can we simply expect this self destructive logical behavior?
Yes.
No more tired explanations or justifications; just yes.
That's the way it is and has been through out our very unnatural history.
I recently watched a documentary about the genesis of the Israel - "Palestinian" conflict.
The Arabs interviewed offered their own contrived narrative in a emotive, vigorous manner as usual.
One of the Jewish experts explained that, true the "Palestinian" narrative is largely a fabrication but it is the memory that they have adopted. Therefor , he suggested, we not challenge their narrative too vigorously but rather, we should acknowledge it and choose to forget certain parts of our own history. Thus we will not be at constant logger heads with our neighbors with whom we must come to an understanding..
Is it not the wise elder statesman, Shimon Peres who always urges us to understand that, "history is not important."? We can determine a future of peace, not burdened by the heavy weight of history.
So the killer's mother is convinced that her son was martyred for their Jerusalem and we clear the Temple mount of Jews to show how right they are.
The famous Kutzker rebbe said,"It is a sin to deceive your neighbor. It is a crime to deceive yourself."
