Embrace your dreams close to your heart,

Embrace the ones you love for some day they shall part.

Dreams make our days shine so bright,

They make it all worth while as we keep them in sight.

Love too is a dream we all yearn for each day,

Too often forgetting what it is we must say.

Forever I shall love you my dear with all my heart,

Never imagining that one day soon we shall part.

As I sweetly whisper these words to you,

Taking for granted tomorrow will begin anew.

Just as the sun crests over the hills at daybreak,

And the ground moistens with the morning dew as we awake.

There is a world where hope and dreams can last for all time,

A wondrous place to go, you'll know it when the heart finds.

As you reflect upon our time we spent together uniting in kind,

Dear Members of the Board, Musicians, Philanthropists and Lovers of the Arts:

This letter is being sent you because it is on the record that you are a very influential person in funding the arts.  

The Death (or rather Execution) of Klinghoffer was perpetrated by a Palestinian whose ideology runs parallel to Nazi Germany.  http://ncjausa.org/2012/01/26/ncja-demands-officials-condemn-pa-call-for-jewish-genocide/.

Here is another opera in bad taste.

At Buchenwald, established in 1937, loudspeakers broadcast nightly concerts from German radio, depriving prisoners of sleep.  Additionally, march music was played to drown out the sounds of executions."

Will you be remembered for allowing "The Death of Klinghoffer" to go on.... or will you be on record for opposing and stopping this show and making sure that terrorism and evil and genocide is not portrayed in a human and positive light at the Met.  

Shouldn't Opera and music be for the purpose of making the world a better society? Being that you have the power to influence the Met, please use your influence to make the world a better place rather than a more dangerous one by siding with evildoers and terrorists. 

Stop this Opera by opposing it and by withholding funding to the Met as long as they are defiant in allowing this Opera to open on schedule empowering evil under the disguise of culture, art and entertainment.

In October 1993,  Ohmar Ahmad a well educated, radicalized, member of  Brotherhood's Palestine Committee born in a Palestinian Refugee Camp, and a leader of IAP (Islamic Association of Palestine) called to order a secret Hamas summit at a Courtyard by Marriot  Hotel in Philadelphia.  There IAP and Holy Land officials came up with a scheme to disguise payments to Hamas terrorists and their families as charity.  Wiretaps record them stating the need to deceive Americans about the true objectives. 

Missing was a media office savvy enough to advance their radical agenda of supporting violent jihad abroad while institutionalizing a Shariah theocracy at home. This was the origin of the birth of Washington based CAIR (Council of American-Islamic Relations)  CAIR was first mentioned by name in Brotherhood documents as part of a July 30, 1994 agenda of the Palestine Committee.  CAIR  is thus directly connected to the Hamas network inside America. 

The group's leadership was plucked directly from IAP and the Palestine Committee. In fact all three CAIR incorporators - Ahmad, Awad, and Rafeeq Jaber have held senior position of the IAP.   New name, same old management

Recently, CAIR: Muslim's Lawsuit Says Oklahoma Amendment Violates Constitution  and is anti-Islam. Awad's lawsuit, which is based on his own Shariah-compliant will, says SQ 755 violates the First Amendment's Establishment Clause that bars government bodies from making laws "respecting the establishment of religion."   It is evident to those that voted for the Amendment  that they did so in order to protect basic Constitutional rights when they conflict with Sharia law.
In addition, it was just in the News that The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has issued a travel notice to Muslim airline passengers, warning them that new regulations from the Transportation Security Administration violate certain religious rules.
According to CAIR, the TSA's new "enhanced pat down" policy should be limited to searching only around Muslim women's head and neck if they are wearing a hijab.

Today I went to the Israel Real Estate Exhibition in Manhattan.  

In their advertising insert Supplement in the Jewish Press, Daniela Berkowitz starts off by writing " With rising accounts of anti-Semitism across the world and the increasing threats to a Jewish future, it is increasing popular for World Jewry to consider the options of relocating, or at least take steps to build a future in Israel." 

These words resonated within my very soul.  So I went to check out the Real Estate Fair hoping to share the information on my blog and with my email list. 

I own an apt in Kiryat Arba bought 30 years ago, I can truly say it is one of the best investments I have ever made. 

It is so important for each and every one of us to own a piece of Israel. When Moshiach comes he will tell us where our Nachala, our piece of inheritance is.  Until that time, even if it is planting a tree, or owning a square foot of land or helping a farmer get through the Shemittah year, we participate in the Mitzva of settling the land..  Every person according to his/her means.   

This particular venue might not fit all of us, and my mouth was watering looking at all those beautiful apartments, each with it's own character, situated in different parts of Israel, each with it's own beauty... each with it's own special view.....

HONORABLE Board Members of the Annenberg Foundation;   Wallis Annenberg, Chairman of the Board and CEO; Charles Annenberg Weingarten, Vice President and Director;   Gregory Annenberg Weingarten, Vice President and Director,   Lauren Bon, Vice President and Director;       I am writing to you as major supporters of the venerable Metropolitan Opera in New York. I would like to share with you the  concerns of many people regarding their production of "The Death of Klinghoffer" this fall in New York City.     This opera is based on the 1985 murder of 69-year-old Leon Klinghoffer on the Achille Lauro cruise ship in the Mediterranean. A group of Palestinian terrorists hijacked the ship, murdered the 69 year old wheelchair-bound Jew point blank, and threw his body into the ocean. Klinghoffer had been celebrating his 36th anniversary with his wife and 11 friends.    "The Death of Klinghoffer" condones this murder, and idealizes terrorism and violence against innocent victims.  It portrays terrorists as victims, and victims as deserving of their fate.  The libretto is replete with vile anti-Semitic wording. Here are a few examples:   "Wherever poor men are gathered, they can find Jews getting fat. You know, how to cheat the simple, exploit the virgin, pollute where you have exploited, defame those you cheated, and break your own law with idolatry."   At one point, the terrorist leader says to Klinghoffer, "America is One Big Jew."   The opening scene is set against a backdrop of grafitti on a wall proclaiming, "Warsaw 1943, Bethlehem 2005," implying a moral equivalence between the acts of the Nazis and current day Jews. The Palestinians sing, "We are soldiers fighting a war. We are not criminals and we are not vandals but men of ideals."     An excellent, short video titled "The Death of Klinghoffer - An Inappropriate 'Opera'" has been produced by the organization Stand With Us. As a result, major protests have been scheduled on opening night and every night of the performances. The dates and information about sponsors of the protests are posted on http://stopdeathofklinghoffer.com   Here is some information regarding the protests: AFSI, JCC Watch, and ZOA, along with a coalition of concerned citizens, has been a part of the battle against the production of this shameful "opera" (propaganda piece) all summer long. We are pleased that former Congressman Allen West has joined us in this fight to stop terrorism from being glorified in one of our most esteemed institutions, the Metropolitan Opera House.   The HD showings, as well as the radio simulcasts, have been cancelled, acknowledging that such propaganda might set off anti-Jewish demonstrations world-wide. Unfortunately, Peter Gelb and company must have assumed that pro-terrorism and anti-Semitism could be tolerated in NYC. because the live performances are still scheduled to proceed beginning this October. Fortunately, wise and moral decision makers at the Guggenheim Museum in NYC saw fit to cancel a scheduled preview. We continue to prevail upon Peter Gelb, Managing Director of the Met, to cancel the productions.
