Re:Kidnapped boys. Facebook page launched. Kill a terrorist every hour until the kidnapped children are returned. We don't want another Nachshon Wachsman ending!

bs"d

Dear Friends of Israel, Fellow Activists, Knesset members, Rabbanim and Media, amv"sh

A Facebook page has been launched demanding that Israel kill a terrorist every hour until the kidnapped children are returned. Like it,  and post a comment.

We can not delay because this is the only language theTerrorists understand.

Here are my comments. Many agree.

  • Start with the Fogel Family murderers. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Itamar_attack
  • Treat  theTerrorists the same way they treated their victims  Check out the link in case you forgot how the terrorists treat their victims.
  • Publicize our ruthless response based on the terrorists' own conduct, on Arab TV, Arab radio, and Arab newspapers and fliers parachuted down just in case the other forms of media is not reaching them.
  • At the same time publicize what these terrorists did, for international media consumption.
  • Don't plead and beg or negotiate.  These are barbaric terrorists.  They show no mercy. No mercy is what they deserve and understand.

This kidnapping attempt, which actually succeeded after many unsuccessful attempts,  follows a declaration of a Palestinian Unity Government (PUG) with Hamas and America's and EU's acceptance and willingness to work with Hamas a terrorist organization.

Interestingly, the Nachshon Wachsman kidnapping coincided with a Nobel Peace Prize Awarded to Rabin, Peres and Arafat. This same Shimon Peres is at it again.

In  October 1994 when Wachsman was kidnapped, the kidnappers released a videotape of Wachsman where he says "A group from Hamas kidnapped me. They are demanding the release of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin and another 400 (men) from Israeli prisons. If their demands are not met, they will execute me on Friday at 8 pm."

That same Friday 14 October Yitzhak Rabin, Shimon Peres, and Yasser Arafat announced that they had won the Nobel Peace Prize. When asked his opinion on the "peace" that he had achieved in Oslo in light of Hamas' impending deadline, Peres responded that the peace process involves "calculated risks."

My suggestion to the parents is don't allow Shimon Peres to represent you when he appeals to the Pope or depend on Shimon Peres to get the boys back safely.  He doesn't have a very good track record. How is this kidnapping any different than the Wachsman kidnapping and just another "calculated risk"?

Nachshon Wachsman. We begged and pleaded  and how did it help? (see below for details)

Other suggestions to respond to this kidnapping in a way that removes incentives for terror instead of  increasing incentives for terror!

Besides replicating their own butcher style on known Palestinian terrorists, make life very unpleasant for all the people in the PA territories especially as long as the Jewish Kidnapped Victims are held. Threaten serious repercussions and  consequences on the entire Palestinian population if these Jewish Kidnapped victims are in any way hurt or tortured.

Be prepared to carry out threats.

Edwin Black reports that terrorists who have the longest convictions receive the greatest salary!! Talking about incentives to commit terror attacks!  http://shemittahrediscovered.blogspot.com/2014/06/action-item-from-afsi-lobby-congress.html

Edwin Black has a history of writing investigative reports about the financing of conflict and Financing the Flames: How Tax-Exempt and Public Money Fuel a Culture of Confrontation and Terror in Israel is firmly in that tradition. Black picks up where he left off with his investigation of the Ford Foundation's bigoted Anti-Israel shenanigans at Durban to look at the left's financing of the conflict in Israel.

Financing the Flames breaks down everything from the dollar amounts paid to convicted terrorists ($400 a month for under 3 years, $1,690 for over 10 years and $2,000 for over 15 years) to how the viral videos of Israeli soldiers clashing with civilians are staged (taunt the soldiers, insult their mothers, get right in their faces, edit out the parts that show the incitement) to how a money trail that begins with George Soros ends with violence and hate.

  • Annex Judea and Samaria to Israel and demand from all non Jewish residents a loyalty declaration to the State of Israel a Jewish Sovereign Nation as well as requesting from all non Jewish residents to agree to keep the Seven Noahide Laws in order to remain in Israel. Otherwise let them find another country that they feel more comfortable. There are plenty of Arab and Muslim countries to choose from. Why should Israel, the only Jewish Country absorb them?
Create facts on the ground and negative consequences toward acts of terror generating widespread public Palestinian discomfort which will in turn pressure the Fatah/ Hamas leadership to free the kidnapped boys asap rather than the opposite, which is International pressure on Israel to release more terrorists!

Show no mercy! Have no pity. Otherwise they just continue to terrorize.

Nachshon Wachsman

"According to published reports, Wachsman boarded a car with four men in it, all believed to have been wearing kippas (a traditional Jewish skullcap) so not to arouse suspicions. The four overpowered him, rendered him unconscious and drove to the Palestinian village of Bir Nabala, located about six miles northwest of Jerusalem.
Two days later the kidnappers released a videotape of Wachsman. A Hamas gunman was shown displaying the soldier's Israeli ID and reading aloud his name, home address and identity number.
The tape then showed Wachsman's plea: "A group from Hamas kidnapped me. They are demanding the release of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin and another 400 (men) from Israeli prisons. If their demands are not met, they will execute me on Friday at 8 pm."

...Nachshon's parents personally appealed to world leaders, including then Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, then American President Bill Clinton, and Muslim religious leaders, each of whom urged Hamas to release the soldier.

On 14 October 1994, with 24 hours until the ultimatum, prayer vigils were held in many places. Over 100,000 people representing all religious, political, and social segments of the Israeli population gathered at the Western Wall. Responding to a request by Esther Wachsman, Nachshon's mother, many women lit an extra Sabbath candle for her son.[1]

...In the meantime, the Israeli military had captured Jihad Yarmur, the driver of the car that had picked up Wachsman.[1] After interrogating Yarmur, they learned that Wachsman was being held in a village called Bir Nabala, a location under Israeli control and only ten minutes away from his home in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem. Prime Minister Rabin authorized a military rescue attempt.

On Friday 14 October Yitzhak Rabin, Shimon Peres, and Yasser Arafat announced that they had won the Nobel Peace Prize. When asked his opinion on the "peace" that he had achieved in Oslo in light of Hamas' impending deadline, Peres responded that the peace process involves "calculated risks."

At 20:00 that night, at the hour of the ultimatum, the operation was to be carried out by Sayeret Matkal – an elite IDF commando unit. It was thought that Wachsman was being held behind an iron door, but in fact it was a solid steel door. As the commando team attempted to gain entry, it came under heavy fire by the group holding Wachsman hostage and the Sayeret Matkal team commander Nir Poraz was killed, and ten soldiers were wounded. The entry team returned fire and killed the three gunmen guarding Wachsman. Eventually the team was able to break through the door and enter the room, but they were too late, as Wachsman had already been killed. The Wachsman family was informed of his death personally by General Yoram Yair.[4]"

Friday's email informed you about the commendable efforts on the part of U.S. Representatives Michele Bachmann and Trent Franks in drafting a House Resolution calling for the cessation of funds to the new PA/Hamas unity government. Despite the fact that the Obama/Kerry duo have given the funding a green light, there are many members of Congress who are calling for the enactment of U.S. law prohibiting the funding of foreign terrorist organizations.

I hope that our readers acted upon my suggestion to call the offices of Franks: 202-225-4576 and Bachmann: 202-225-2331, thanking them for drafting their legislation. We also have to call Congresswoman Nita Lowey: 202-225-6506, Ranking Member of the Appropriations Committee, and Kay Granger: 202-225-5071 - Chair of the Subcommittee of the Appropriations Committee - State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs - asking them to follow U.S. law in denying the appropriation of American taxpayer funds to support foreign terrorist organizations. How One Democratic Congresswoman Could Spoil the Party for Hamas

Rep. Nita Lowey vows to put the brakes on Obama admin's 'unrestricted funding' of Hamas-aligned PA government.
By Edwin Black
First Publish: 6/5/2014
America grants the Palestinian Authority about $500 million annually; the fast-spinning money meter has already broken the $5 billion mark over the years. The annual financial infusion has been on autopilot as Israelis and Palestinians negotiated over the meters and metrics of a two-state solution. American money has been lavishly spent on the Palestinian Authority for one purpose: to encourage the peace process.
Recently something changed. The Palestinian Authority unified with Hamas, making it the largest, best organized, and best armed terrorist entity in the world. Hamas, long designated a Foreign Terrorist Organization, is well-known for showering Israeli civilians with rockets and for leading the deadly suicide bombing campaign against Israeli civilians during the Second Intifada. Quickly dashing any hopes of change, Hamas did not disband its highly-armed and trained militias, vowed to never recognize Israel, and barred pursuing joint peace.
Newspapers have been filled with headlines recently about how Congress is preparing to defund the Palestinian Authority because various federal laws make continued cash infusions under present conditions illegal, and because further money would be antithetical to America's pro-peace and anti-terrorism policy.
While many of the names of House and Senate leaders have been bandied about, most Congressional sources arguably agree that the most important lawmaker is Rep. Nita Lowey, the ranking Democrat from Westchester County, NY. Lowey sits on both the full Appropriations Committee and the key subcommittee governing State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs. Foreign assistance begins and dies in this subcommittee. The Republican side of the aisle has been lining up staunchly against continuing funding and invoking the mandatory legal brakes. This includes subcommittee chairwoman Kay Granger from Dallas, who has asserted that unification "puts in jeopardy future U.S. assistance to the Palestinian Authority."

The Obama Administration, however, has signaled it is ready to continue funding the new Hamas-infused Palestinian Authority.

Therefore, all eyes now fall on Lowey. For her, this is a leadership moment. Will she break with her party and the Administration?
Lowey's personal and legislative feelings have been made abundantly clear. "At this point, the law is clear, their actions are clear, and the path forward is clear," Rep. Nita Lowey told the JTA news service immediately after news of the Hamas union became known in late April. Monday, June 2, after the unification ceremony finished in Ramallah, Lowey issued this short warning: "I am deeply disappointed with the announcement today of a Palestinian government that includes the terrorist organization Hamas. As long as Hamas rejects the Quartet principles and the existence of the State of Israel, United States funding for this unity government is in jeopardy."
Early June 4, 2014, a source close to Lowey confirmed her feelings remain unchanged, Indeed, within 10 seconds of asking, he emailed this reporter the relevant section of one of several key legal bars to continued funding. The Consolidated Appropriations Act, in Section 7020, Subsection F, entitled Prohibition to Hamas and the Palestine Liberation Organization, unambiguously declares: "None of the funds appropriated ... may be obligated or expended for assistance to Hamas or any entity effectively controlled by Hamas, any power-sharing government of which Hamas is a member, or that results from an agreement with Hamas and over which Hamas exercises undue influence."
The Lowey source explained, "The law is clear-cut, but what makes it complex is there are also important considerations - are we subjecting ourselves to more danger? For example, is there a particular security assistance program? Should we stop that? Or, is it smarter to keep some of those of those programs going?" The staffer conceded the notion of a drastic cut with carve-outs for special security programs. However, the source added, "The Administration seems to be 'all systems go'" in terms of unrestricted funding.
Lowey is now posed between the law and common sense on one hand, and her own party and extenuating circumstances on other hand. "Rep. Lowey appreciates the important considerations on all sides," the source stated. "But, also, this law it is written that way for a reason, and this law has been agreed to by the overall majority of Congress and signed in to law by the President."
There are presidential override provisions, "but that formal procedure has not yet been invoked," the Lowey source assured.
In the meantime, momentum is fast-boiling through Congress to reach a bi-partisan consensus that funding must stop. The latest is a "Dear Colleague" letter and resolution jointly spearheaded by Representatives Trent Franks (R-AZ) and Michelle Bachmann (R-MN) seeking a "sense of the House" that "Congress must suspend our foreign aid and support to the Palestinian Authority, as continued foreign assistance runs in direct contravention to current law." A five-page House Resolution has just circulated demanding that all funding stop unless the PA-Hamas unity is unraveled, and the Ministry of Prisoners, that pays monthly salaries to terrorists, is disbanded.
No one knows how Lowey will vote, not even her own staff. One key staffer remarked, "I just don't know yet. She is in consultations daily, if not hourly, with personnel at the White House and State Department." He stated the process would come to conclusion by the legislative deadline, October 1, 2014.
Asked if Lowey would be willing to break with her party and the Administration over this issue, the answer was immediate: "Of course." Hence, the future of Palestinian funding will be written or unwritten, by Lowey.

During all the excitement about the Pope visiting Israel, there were many concerns that his purpose in visiting might not simply be ceremonial. We saw that he visited the PLO leadership and expressed sympathy with the PA cause. The question of the Catholic take-over of David's tomb came up and assurances were given that this holy place would remain a Jewish holy site. The fears of those who were concerned, seem to have been justified. Click the link below:

Having just said Yizkor for all our loved ones, for the millions of victims of the Shoah, the soldiers and citizens who have fallen in the many wars, and for the victims of terror attacks, we also take note of the fact that today, June 6, is the 70th anniversary of the invasion of Normandy

The cost in lives was enormous, but the invasion made the victory in Europe possible. We honor the memory of all those who so bravely fought for their country and for the freedoms that had to be preserved.

That sense of sacrifice, ethics, morality, courage, dedication, and love of country seem to be lost in a fog of inexplicable actions today on the part of our government. The release of the 5 super terrorists from Gitmo, on the ridiculous promise of "monitoring" by Qatar, endangers American lives, as well as the lives of citizens world-wide.

The urging of the Obama/Kerry team for Israel to continue negotiating with the new terrorist entity, Fatah and Hamas, is immoral, unethical, indecent, and dishonest.

AMERICANS MUST NOT BE SILENT. WRITE - SPEAK OUT- BE THERE!!

This past Tuesday, June 3, as we were preparing to close the AFSI office for the two-day Shavuot holiday, we sent out a notice about the new PUG - the Palestinian Unity Government - the PA and Hamas joining forces.

We also informed our readers that, not to anyone's surprise, the Obama/Kerry DC duo believe that Israel should continue to negotiate with this clearly terrorist organization.

Fortunately, we have members of Congress who believe otherwise. They also know that U.S. tax dollars must NOT go to fund a PA/Hamas unity government that would endanger the national security intersts of bothIsrael and America. In Tuesday's email, I asked our readers to call the offices of Congressman Doug Lamborn, Eliot Engel, Trent Franks, and Brad Sherman. It was my oversight that left off the name of Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, 202-225-2331.

After calling all these offices today, I learned that the Washington Free Beacon carried an article by Adam Kredo entitled, CONGRESS SEEKS TO DESIGNATE NEW PALESTINIAN GOV'T AS A TERROR ORG - New Resolution pushes to cut aid, dissolve new Palestinian unity gov't.

The article informs us that the new resolution is sponsored by Reps. Michele Bachmann (R. Minn) and Trent Franks (R. Ariz.). Clicking on the link to the 'copy of the draft resolution' , one can read the contents of the Resolution which is expected to be introduced on Monday. Speaking for AFSI members, I have offered our services in promoting this Resolution to the extent possible

This new unity government MUST be classified as a FOREIGN TERRORIST ORGANIZATION and as such MUST have all U.S. Aid removed. Of course, Obama/Kerry MUST get the message that Congress cannot be ignored on this matter, as the president likes to do with his "oversights" and flagrant use of executive privilege.

Calling your own representatives - Senators and Congress person - is essential: The U.S. Capitol Switchboard number is: 202-224-3121

 Congress Seeks to Designate
New Palestinian Gov't as a Terror Org
New resolution pushes to cut aid, dissolve new Palestinian unity

By: Adam Kredo - Washington Free Beacon - June 6, 2014

Military spokesmen for al-Qassam brigades and Hamas/AP

House lawmakers are currently pushing a resolution to classify the newly formed Palestinian unity government as a foreign terrorist organization and cut off U.S. aid following the formation of a new ruling body that includes the terror group Hamas, according to a copy of the draft resolution obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

The new resolution, sponsored by Reps. Michele Bachmann (R., Minn.) and Trent Franks (R., Ariz.), calls on the State Department to designate the Palestinian Authority (PA) and its new Hamas-backed unity government as a terrorist organization. The resolution is expected to be introduced Monday.

It additionally calls for the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) to be reclassified as a terror group and for the U.S. government to fully cut aid to the Palestinians, who have received around $5 billion in bilateral assistance since the 1990s. "The Palestinian Authority has shown its true colors by forming a unity government with the terrorist organization Hamas," Bachmann told the Free Beacon. "This nightmare scenario for the peace process means that Congress must reassert its constitutional authority and suspend foreign aid to the PA. We cannot continue to assist our enemies at the expense of our ally, Israel."

U.S. lawmakers and Israeli officials have expressed shock in recent days that the Obama administration is willing to work with the new Palestinian unity government, which united the ruling Fatah party with the Hamas terrorist group that runs the Gaza Strip.

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle maintain that the unity deal violates a U.S. law banning taxpayer dollars from being sent to any Palestinian government that includes Hamas, a designated terrorist organization.

However, the Obama administration has sought to exploit loopholes in the law and announced in recent days that it is willing to work with the new Hamas-backed government, despite Israeli objections. The new congressional resolution maintains that there should be consequences for these moves and pushes for the PA to quickly dissolve the new government and outlaw Hamas. "Since Hamas and Fatah have now unified, Congress must reassess our foreign aid and support to the Palestinian Authority (PA), as foreign assistance runs in direct contravention to current law in regards to a unity government," the lawmakers wrote in a letter to fellow lawmakers urging them to support the resolution.

The resolution explicitly urges the State Department to classify the new government as a terrorist entity, which would effectively block financial transactions with it and cut it off from the international community. "Since Hamas and Fatah have unified, regardless of it being made up of technocrats from Hamas and Fatah, the secretary of state should designate the Palestinian Authority and such unity government as a foreign terrorist organization, and redesignate the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) as a foreign terrorist organization," according to the draft language.

The resolution additionally criticizes Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas for harming U.S. efforts to forge a peace deal by unilaterally pursuing statehood at the United Nations and condoning "anti-Israel incitement," according to draft text of the measure.

It also takes aim at Abbas and the PA for "rampant corruption" that includes paying salaries and "other forms of compensation" to imprisoned terrorists and their families.

"The Palestinian Authority's highly advertised terrorist salary program incentivizes killings and bombings against innocent civilians, which includes the murder of at least 54 United States citizens since 1993 and more than 83 injured," the resolution states.

Lawmakers and experts have maintained that the Obama administration is violating U.S. law by continuing to fund the PA and its unity government. The 2006 Palestinian Anti-Terrorism Act explicitly states that no U.S. aid can flow to a Palestinian power sharing government that includes Hamas or any members of the terror group. The law further bans aid to any government in which Hamas is given "undue influence" over political decisions.

Aid to such a unity government would be contingent on all parties recognizing Israel's right to exist as a Jewish state and accepting all past agreements inked with Israel.

However, Hamas has vowed to continue its armed resistance against Israel and has refused to renounce terrorism against Israel. The White House's decision to work with the new Hamas-backed Palestinian government sparked a new row with the Israeli government, which publicly expressed outrage with Washington.

It was further reported this week that the Obama administration has been secretly speaking with Hamas for the past several months and may have even suggested ways it can participate in a unity government without triggering a cut in aid.

The American Israeli Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the nation's top pro-Israel lobbying group, announced late Thursday that it is backing a cutoff in aid to the PA.

AIPAC, which was initially hesitant to publicly push for a cut in aid, stated in a memo that the "unity government backed by Hamas is a disturbing setback for peace."

"Congress should suspend aid to the PA while it conducts a thorough review of continued U.S. assistance to ensure that U.S. law, which prohibits funds to a Palestinian government in which Hamas participates or has undue influence, is completely followed and implemented," AIPAC wrote.

Capitol Hill insiders maintain that the Obama administration is violating the law and that Congress is prepared to crack down on the PA. "The law here is crystal clear: we must limit aid to the Palestinian Authority should it formally associate itself with Hamas," said one senior House aide working on the issue. "However, the Obama administration is likely to dodge this requirement in order to keep its failed peace process on life support. Is the White House really prepared to defend sending taxpayer dollars to a government that includes a terrorist organization?"
