Raging Anti-Semitism on Occupy Wall Street (OWS) - Glenn Beck

bs"d

How to combat anti-Semitism?  By speaking out proudly of our Jewish Heritage and bringing G-d's name back into the picture and proclaim what is written in the Torah.  Because anti-Semitism come about when there is a Chillul Hashem which literally means a void of G-d and G-d's Name (Hashem) in the world. Anti-Semitism literally means against G-d's name (from the word anti-Sem i.e. Shem, name.  Shem, Noah's son, brought G-dliness into the world).

Kudo's for Glenn Beck and may there be many more like him, Jews and Non Jews who will take his cue and speak forcefully for Israel and the Torah and bring the Glory of G-d's Name down to earth filling this terrible void.

Shalit Trade - Honenu, Daniel Greenfield, Ahlam Tamimi: Bill Levinon

bs"d

Even the extreme right like Honenu in my opinion is partly to blame.  BTW I and others have been  working hard to do a fundraiser/awareness for Honenu.   They are the best of the best and are representing over 1000 soldiers and civilians who have been prosecuted as a result of their attempts at self defense when the government of Israel has failed to protect and defend.

When I  read how Honenu' director Shmuel Medad presented Yishai with a list of Jewish security prisoners currently held in Israeli prisons and asked him to request their release, it was a turnoff. It's like organizations like Meir Panim who do wonderful work providing soup kitchens and honor Malcolm Hoenlein who supported the expulsion of Gush Katif.  After all, with so many productive people unemployed and with no means of Parnassa, Meir Panim is there to make sure that there is food on the table.  Meir Panim has expanded and can be proud of its accomplishments.

Hello???? Shouldn't Meir Panim be yelling and screaming about expulsions?  Do we really want them to expand? Isn't the greatest form of tzedaka  not to allow productive individuals to come to the point where they must depend on public welfare? When I raised this point with Meir Panim they tell me that they are not a political organization.  True, but did they really have to honor Malcolm Hoenlein?

By Honenu cooperating with Eli Yishai in this Shalit deal prior to the Ministers vote they encourage the gov'ts policy of endangering the lives of the residents in Judea and Samaria and then will work feverishly to legally protect those who are prosecuted for defending themselves.  Surely with this deal implemented Honenu will soon have booming business!
The energies are misplaced.  I still would like to help Honenu but I would like to be convinced that Honenu will not do a repeat number of the Yesha Council of Gush Katif.   This is the letter I wrote to Shmuel Medad and Dovid Wilder.

bs"d

Dear Zangi Medad and Dovid Wilder, amv"sh

Bad idea.  In my opinion Shmuel/Zangi Medad/Eli Yishai is making a big mistake. Even though we are desperate and want the Jewish Security Prisoners released  and their families are suffering and want them  released and Jonathan Pollard released they can't be part of a pact signed in Jewish Blood (to quote Caroline Glick)  regardless of being approved by the cabinet.

It shows that we are desperate and like the Shalit family are willing to settle for scraps they are sending our way rather than standing Komimiyut  for the protection of our people.

Why are you so sure that we can not stop this exchange with enough public pressure.  How hard have you tried?  Susie Dym sent out an urgent email.  So did Nadia Matar.   Dovid, listen to your son! Where was Hebron's protest against this prisoner exchange? Where is Hebron's leadership? Is it Myopia? Why are you giving up so easily and why are you not seeing the broader picture?.

The prisoners Honenu represent deserve better. Would they be able to live with their conscience knowing that their release was part of this blood deal? Rav Meir obviously disagrees with your approach but thank you for educating me.  Do you think that educating us about Rav Meir shows that you can strongly identify with  those that don't agree with your approach and then lets you off the hook?  Sorry.

Rather than caving in,  attempt to mobilize the Yishuvim, Rabbanim and Am Yisroel in strong op-positional protest against such a deal, davan, and encourage teshuva. Don't partner with those who negotiate with Hamas to make this blood deal palatable.

Don't be discouraged.  Sooner or later the Rabbanim and Am Yisroel will be convinced but in the process,  we want to limit Jewish blood spilled.  BeDamayic Chayii can also be accomplished with Mizvoth like Dam Mila and Korban Pesach  and even Shemittah and Tzedaka in support of acquiring EY (damayich can be translated as money). It doesn't have to be with terror attacks.   Our efforts will not go unnoticed in the gates in Heaven.

Interior Minister Eli Yishai (Shas) is advocating the release of 12 Jewish security prisoners convicted of "terrorism related activities," Arutz Sheva learned.

Before the cabinet vote on Tuesday to approve the release of 1,027 terrorists for kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit, Honenu director Shmuel Medad presented Yishai with a list of Jewish security prisoners currently held in Israeli prisons and asked him to request their release.

The list of Jewish security prisoners reportedly included Ami Popper, Shlomo Dvir, and Ofer Gamliel, among others.

Medad told Arutz Sheva, "We are against this disastrous transaction to release hundreds and hundreds of murderous terrorists, but if this is to be approved by the Cabinet, they can make this one small gesture for 12 Jewish families whose loved ones have been imprisoned for years in an Israeli prison."

Arutz Sheva learned Yishai's initiative is supported by ministers Daniel Hershkowitz, Moshe Kahlon and Yuli Edelstein.

Hershkowitz, one of the move's supporters, said "without justifying the actions of the Jewish security prisoners, the deal we were going to vote on now [the Shalit deal - ed.] is one of the reasons their actions were taken in the first place. We have to include the pardon of Jewish security prisoners in the equation. Israel may be able to swallow the bitter pill of this deal if we sweeten it."

David Wilder from Hebron wrote an opinion piece supporting the release of Jewish prisoners.

Is it possible that this request weakened the resolve of the ministers especially when they see that the strongest in resolve were willing to negotiate and work with Yishai on this?  Why would Medad davka ask Yishai to request their release before the vote if they weren't in some way wishing to be part of release deal?

Shalit trade; Revolving Door Terrorism

Daniel Greenfield  Monday, October 17, 2011

The Shalit deal will release some of the worst murderers in Israeli history, including those responsible for the Dolphinarium disco bombing which killed over a dozen teenagers, the Sbarro pizza bombing which wiped out an entire family, the lynchers of two Israeli reservists and the Passover Massacre at the Park Hotel.

This is Israel's worst military defeat in its modern history and it is being celebrated with grins and cheers, not just in Gaza but in Tel Aviv.

What the deal really means is revolving door terrorism is back. Kill Israelis and you stay in prison only long enough for other terrorists to kidnap an Israeli and win their release. Those 25-year sentences mean nothing. A life sentence doesn't mean life, it means however many years it takes the Israeli government to give in to blackmail.

As over a thousand terrorists are freed, it is time to recognize that every Israeli institution has failed to deal with terrorism. Its court system packed with career leftists is a joke. Its prisons have become nothing more than temporary housing with free education and entertainment for terrorist murderers in between their release under international or Hamas pressure.

The military excels at targeted strikes on empty warehouses and at sending unprotected units without artillery cover into enemy villages. While the soldiers are fighting and dying, denied artillery and air support, the generals who sent them there are planning which party they'll join after they retire. Usually the left, which needs military credibility and cover more.

Domestic law enforcement is excellent if you want to crack down on some "right wing extremists" who might be putting up a hut somewhere in violation of some voluntary construction freeze. Elite units can be on the way as soon as possible, backed by intelligence from embedded assets and security agencies who will have dossiers waiting on all the participants.

But if you took a bullet through your windshield, or a fist sized rock, while driving near an Arab village it's best to drive home and tell no one about it. If you do contact law enforcement, a weary police officer will tell you the same thing. And if you still insist on being foolish enough, then an investigation will begin and the local friendly Mohamedans will claim that you fired shots at them first. If you're lucky you won't spend any time in prison, but you will spend months dealing with the legal system, while your attackers will be represented free of charge by NGO's funded by America, Europe and Soros.

If you are unlucky and your attackers go to the trouble of putting on a good show and the Times picks up on it, then you will get a sentence anywhere from five to twenty-five years (depending on whether there is a fake corpse too) and your sentence will be an actual sentence. It will not be waived every time the terrorists kidnap a soldier. And unlike Noam Shalit, no one will pay attention to your parents when they cry and plead. They will be lucky if they aren't dragged out of court while the judge goes off to attend a seminar on human rights put on by those same NGO's.

Israel has three types of politicians

Then there are the politicians. Israel has three types of politicians. The absolutely corrupt, who believe in nothing and will vote for anything. They form the majority of all parties. The left, which believes that Israel is an immoral state. The right which makes patriotic speeches while following the policies of the left on everything but the economy. That is why Israel has a successful economy and a failed war on terrorism.

The country's economic inventiveness disguises its political malaise. The left has never admitted that its policies have failed, and the right has promised to follow its policies but with a more responsible emphasis on national security. There are no original ideas, only a succession of politicians trying to stay in power for more than four years while maintaining the status quo.

Israeli politicians are drawn from three groups. The sons of political figures, the military and minority activists. The leaders of all Israel's major parties come from one of these categories. What they all have in common is a complete lack of original ideas. Foreign Minister Lieberman, for all his faults and buffoonery, is the only prominent figure in the government who comes up with ideas. Which is why it's vital for pundits to compare him to Hitler and for the same foreign governments who fund those NGO's to urge the Israeli government to form into an incestuous Kadima-Likud bloc.

Israel's mainstream political establishment is a complete failure, on the left and the right

Israel's mainstream political establishment is a complete failure, on the left and the right. The mainstream electorate which supports Kadima even more so. Its only sources of vitality come from Russian, Middle-Eastern and Anglo immigrants who still haven't been beaten down into the Israeli way of doing things. Who still haven't adopted the cynical optimism that shrugs and refuses to think five steps forward. That cheers Gilad Shalit's release, the return of Barak, the return of Netanyahu and the same old revolving door political establishment leading to the same old revolving door terrorism, while admitting that none of it really means anything.

Hamas won because it had an objective, a long term strategy meant to achieve its goals. Israel has no objectives, except to keep the violence down to a minimum. Its strategic objectives are to avoid pain as much as possible. The Shalit decision ties into that strategy. After Noam Shalit and his allies terrorized the political establishment, in conjunction with Hamas, Noam and Hamas got their way. The terrorists go free, if Gilad is alive, he will probably go free too. I say "probably" because three years ago when Israel made this swap with Hezbollah, it got bodies in exchange for terrorists.

Israel only goes on the offensive as a defensive strategy. Bomb the terrorists a bit to remind the Israeli public that their government isn't completely incompetent and warn the terrorists to keep the violence down. If the terrorists go too far, then it might be a whole month of attacks, where soldier's lives are traded as a warning. A warning that means nothing.

The noise and furor over the so-called "Price Tag" attacks is pathetic hypocrisy when the attacks consist of civilians in dangerous areas practicing the policy of the Israeli government. And practicing it more honestly and more competently than the generals who trade off dozens of lives for a few hundred terrorists and six months of calm. The same generals who wisely stroke their chins and assure the public that they know what they're doing. And they do. But what they're doing isn't fighting terrorism, it's achieving a temporary calm through temporary violence that makes them and their bosses look good, without actually stopping terrorism.

The Israeli war on terrorism has failed. It failed when Rabin and Peres cut a deal with Arafat. It failed when Israel adopted a defensive strategy of retreating behind walls, real or imaginary. It failed when Israel traded off the worst terrorists in its prisons for a brief rush of positive feelings which is what the Shalit deal really comes down to. That and Netanyahu taking some of the pressure off.

Israel has no plan for going forward. The left can only think of cutting more deals with terrorists while pretending the outcome will be somehow different than it has been for nearly twenty years. The right has no policy except minimizing the pain of the status quo. It will do anything if it's pressured enough, and if it isn't pressured, then it takes out maps and begins planning a workable ghetto state for itself behind virtual fences and anti-missile defenses.

Savlanut is not the solution. At some point you either go on the offensive against the core problem, or you lose. The joke from the Six Day War that Nasser had borrowed the Soviet strategy from WW2 of retreating and then waiting for the snow to bury the Israelis. The joke has now been turned around. It's the Israeli political and military establishment which is retreating and waiting for the snow to bury the terrorists. But the snow isn't coming.

The terrorists have been going steadily on the offensive and they are winning

The terrorists have been going steadily on the offensive and they are winning. Most Israelis will deny that, but it's a fact. The UN hubbub and the Shalit deal are reminders of it. Things will not get any better by ignoring the problem. They will not get better with Hasbara. They will not get better if the terrorists are given free reign to demonstrate that they're not interested in peace. They will not get better at the negotiating table. They will not get better after a few weeks of bombing. They will not get better until the core problem is addressed.

The core problem is that Israel has armed terrorist groups operating within its borders. Those groups have military and political objectives that they are closer than ever to achieving. Those groups including the PA and Hamas. Israel will either drive out those groups, or in combination with sponsoring Muslim states, the UN and even their European allies, they will destroy Israel.

The snow isn't coming. The terrorists, the Turks, the Iranians, the Syrians and Egyptians are.

Ahlam Tamimi: Poster Child for Rule 303

This is why Israel should stop capturing terrorists alive
by Bill Levinson

We signed the petition "Remove Ahlam Tamimi from the list of terrorists to be freed" and we encourage others to do so as well. The petition explains,

We urgently call on Israel's Ministry of Justice to remove Ahlam Tamimi from the list of prisoners to be released in exchange for the return of Gilad Shalit.

Tamimi was sentenced to 16 consecutive life terms in jail for her involvement in the terrorist attack on the Sbarro pizza restaurant in Jerusalem in August 2001 that claimed the lives of 16 innocent victims, amongst them many Jewish children.

Tamimi has never expressed remorse and told reporters in 2006, "I'm not sorry for what I did. I will get out of prison and I refuse to recognize Israel's existence. Discussions will only take place after Israel recognizes that this is Islamic land."

Sbarro restaurant suicide bombing adds,

[The bomber] was escorted to the restaurant by Ahlam Tamimi, a 20-year-old female university student and part-time journalist, who had disguised herself as a Jewish tourist for the occasion. She later commented that she was not sorry for what she did and does not recognize Israel's existence. "Despite the fact that I'm sentenced to 16 life sentences I know that we will become free from Israeli occupation and then I will also be free from the prison," she said. Tamimi will be released in October 2011 in exchange for the release of captured soldier Gilad Shalit.

Under U.S. civilian law, Tamimi could have been sentenced to death as an accessory to murder. Military law would have sanctioned her execution as a spy, as she had disguised herself as a civilian to avoid identification as a combatant. Her counterpart Terry Nichols, the accomplice of mass murderer Timothy McVeigh, is doing life without parole in the maximum security prison at Florence Colorado.

It is impossible to respect a country that would release an individual like this under any circumstances. Israel has in fact made itself a party to terroristic violence against its own people by releasing not only this individual but the likes of Samir Kuntar. Israel should realize that, if it has lost the respect of those on its side, it has gained only the contempt and derision of its enemies.

The prospective release of 1000 terrorists would not be an issue if the terrorists had not been captured alive in the first place. Nobody is suggesting the extrajudicial execution of prisoners, i.e. individuals whose surrenders have been accepted and who have been clearly disarmed–i.e. have no suicide belts or explosives implanted in their bodies. Our position is that the IDF and similar entities should (in the absence of capital punishment or credible and effective life without parole) not offer them the opportunity to surrender in the first place.

There are many ways to apply Rule 303 without crossing the line to atrocities like the Malmedy Massacre (of American soldiers who, as uniformed combatants, had the right to surrender and whose surrenders the Germans had accepted). First, rules of engagement should be issued that terrorists, unlike common criminals who are probably rational enough to surrender and serve prison sentences, are willing to blow themselves up to kill people on the other side. "Unless you are 100 percent sure the terrorist has no suicide belt or explosives implanted in his body, you are to shoot him to prevent him from getting within 30 or 40 meters of you or people for whose safety you are responsible."

Second, the ROE should state that the IDF does not order a terrorist to drop his weapon and surrender; it is simply to shoot him dead on the spot. This is in fact quite legal in warfare against uniformed opponents who conduct themselves according to the laws of war. If an enemy patrol walks into your killing zone, on which you have trained half a dozen machine guns along with mortars and sharpshooters with unobstructed lines of fire, it is not a war crime to simply kill the enemy soldiers without warning. If you are a decent person you will shout to them, "We have you surrounded; lay down your arms" and then take them into custody but, as far as we know, there is no law of war that requires you to do this. (This would incidentally be our desire with regard to people who simply have the misfortune to be wearing the wrong color uniforms, possibly because they were conscripted with no choice in the matter.) This is not a courtesy that anybody is obliged to extend to terrorists, though.

These measures would not even go as far as those for which Russia, which has always known how to take care of business, has set a precedent.

Instead, like many other warships that have intercepted pirate skiffs, the Russian marines released the pirates — but not before removing weapons and navigation equipment from the boat several hundred miles from shore. Russian officials gave no explanation for removing the navigation equipment.

In this case, the Russians effectively abandoned at sea men whose surrenders they had accepted (instead of gunning them down before they could surrender, which is the approach we recommend). Nonetheless, the pirates now studiously avoid anything with a Russian flag on it. Furthermore,

The EU has been targeting motherships. The effect is similar for any pirates at sea dependent on those captured motherships for fuel and food. Going after supply lines is a classic military strategy. However, those at the end of a disrupted supply line at sea are as doomed as the pirates the Russians 'freed' at sea.The only difference is that the Russians caught them and then let them go.
We finally note that Israel's release of these terrorists in exchange for Gilad Shalit has earned it nothing but contempt and disgust from the entire world including those on its own side. Israel was not obliged in any way to negotiate Shalit's release. It was Israel's right and duty to remind Hamas that prisoners of war are not held during peacetime and, as Hamas was holding Shalit, Hamas was at war with Israel. A state of war entitles Israel to use air power, tanks, artillery, and so on without any restraint whatsoever until Hamas surrenders (or preferably dies to the last man), and avoidance of that outcome should have been the only incentive given to Hamas to release its prisoner.--

URGENT From Malki's father also A pact signed in Jewish Blood by Caroline Glick and How to free Gillad Shalit w/o freeing terrorists

bs"d

From Arnold Roth, father of Malki, 15, murdered in the Sbarro terror attack in Jerusalem, 2001.

Please pass this heartfelt request along urgently to your contacts. It's a request to sign a petition, online here:
http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/remove-ahlam-tamimi-from-the-list-of-terrorists-to-be-f.html

Under normal circumstances, requests to sign a petition are unlikely to lead to any significant outcomes. In this case, we are hoping to do something important.

The petition asks for the removal of one specific name from the list of more than one thousand terrorists, including hundreds of convicted murderers, to be published by the government of Israel tomorrow, Sunday. That list is the basis of a transaction by which Israel will get back Gilad Shalit, held hostage by the terrorists of Hamas for more than five years. The deal involves Israel throwing open the gates of its top-security prisons and issuing wholesale pardons. My wife Frimet and I have expressed our principled objection to the deal. While others are busy trying to stop it in the courts, we are focusing our energies on one specific person, and getting her off the list.

Her name is Tamimi. An article in today's New York Times [http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/15/world/middleeast/israel-prisoner-swap-touches-old-wounds.html ] provides some background:
Among those is Ahlam Tamimi, a 31-year-old woman who was a key figure in the pizzeria attack. She is often described as the driver of the car that brought the suicide bomber to the Sbarro restaurant and killed 15 people. But the Roths say her role went far beyond that, to the actual planning of the attack. In interviews from prison, Ms. Tamimi, who was a journalist, has told of having brought the suicide bomber to Jerusalem and then going on Palestinian television's afternoon broadcast to announce the news of the attack without acknowledging her involvement. "I'm not sorry for what I did," she told an Israeli news organization in 2006. "I will get out of prison, and I refuse to recognize Israel's existence. Discussions will only take place after Israel recognizes that this is Islamic land."
The Roths said their anger over the prisoner exchange was focused on Ms. Tamimi, who is being sent to Jordan. She is young, fervent and charismatic, Mr. Roth said, and proud of what she did. In a documentary on Palestinian prisoners, she was asked whether she knew how many children had been killed in the attack. She did not. When told the number was eight, she smiled.
There is a fuller background about the circumstances in which our daughter was murdered on the Keren Malki website: http://www.kerenmalki.org/Sbarro_Massacre.htm

And there are many articles on the web tonight showing her family and supporters celebrating her impending return to freedom and to a full and active life as a heroine and inspiration.

Even if you do not normally sign petitions, or pass them along to friends, we ask you to seriously consider signing this one. Once again, it's online here:
 להקליק כאן ולחתום http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/remove-ahlam-tamimi-from-the-list-of-terrorists-to-be-f.html

Time is very limited. We really only have ONE DAY to get a significant number of signatures. If we succeed, we can then put pressure on the Prime Minister's Office and the Justice Ministry and publicize this in the media.

Column One: A pact signed in Jewish blood
By CAROLINE B. GLICK
October 14, 2011
At best, Netanyahu comes out of this deal looking like a weak leader.
At worst, he comes out as a morally challenged, irresponsible,
opportunistic politician.

No one denies the long suffering of the Schalit family. Noam and Aviva
Schalit and their relatives have endured five years and four months of
uninterrupted anguish since their son St.-Sgt. Gilad Schalit was
abducted from his army post by Palestinian terrorists and spirited to
Gaza in June 2006. Since then, aside from one letter and one
videotaped message, they have received no signs of life from their
soldier son.

There is not a Jewish household in Israel that doesn't empathize with
their suffering. It isn't simply that most Israelis serve in the IDF
and expect their children to serve in the IDF.

It isn't just that it could happen to any of our families.

As Jews, the concept of mutual responsibility, that we are all a big
family and share a common fate, is ingrained in our collective
consciousness. And so, at a deep level, the Schalit family's suffering
is our collective suffering.

And yet, and yet, freedom exacts its price. The cause of freedom for
the Jewish people as a whole exacts a greater sacrifice from some
families than from others.

Sometimes, that sacrifice is made willingly, as in the case of the
Netanyahu family. Prof. Benzion and Tzilla Netanyahu raised their
three sons to be warriors in the fight for Jewish liberty. And all
three of their sons served in an elite commando unit. Their eldest son
Yonatan had the privilege of commanding the unit and of leading
Israeli commandos in the heroic raid to free Jewish hostages held by
the PLO in Entebbe.

There, on July 4, 1976, Yonatan and his family made the ultimate
sacrifice for the freedom of the Jewish people. Yonatan was killed in
action. His parents and brothers were left to mourn and miss him for
the rest of their lives. And yet, the Netanyahu family's sacrifice was
a product of a previous decision to fight on the front lines of the
war to preserve Jewish freedom.

Sometimes, the sacrifice is made less willingly.

Since Israel allowed the PLO and its terror armies to move their bases
from Tunis to Judea, Samaria and Gaza in 1994, nearly 2,000 Israeli
families have involuntarily paid the ultimate price for the freedom of
the Jewish people. Our freedom angers our Palestinian neighbors so
much that they have decided that all Israelis should die.

For instance Ruth Peled, 56, and her 14- month-old granddaughter Sinai
Keinan did not volunteer to make the ultimate sacrifice for the
freedom of the Jewish people when they were murdered by a Palestinian
suicide bomber as they sat in an ice cream parlor in Petah Tikva in
May 2002.

And five-year-old Gal Eisenman and her grandmother Noa Alon, 60,
weren't planning on giving their lives for the greater good when they,
together with five others, were blown to smithereens by Palestinian
terrorists in June 2002 while they were waiting for a bus in
Jerusalem.

Their mothers and daughters, Chen Keinan and Pnina Eisenman, had not
signed up for the prospect of watching their mothers and daughters
incinerated before their eyes. They did not volunteer to become
bereaved mothers and orphaned daughters simultaneously.

The lives of the victims of Arab terror were stolen from their
families simply because they lived and were Jews in Israel. And in the
cases of the Keinan, Peled, Alon and Eisenman families, as in
thousands of others, the murderers were the direct and indirect
beneficiaries of terrorists-for-hostages swaps like the deal that
Yonatan Netanyahu's brother, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, made
this week with Hamas to secure the release of Gilad Schalit.

The deal that Netanyahu has agreed to is signed with the blood of the
past victims and future victims of the terrorists he is letting go. No
amount of rationalization by Netanyahu, his cheerleaders in the
demented mass media, and by the defeatist, apparently incompetent
heads of the Shin Bet, Mossad and IDF can dent the facts.

IT IS a statistical certainty that the release of 1,027 terrorists for
Schalit will lead to the murder of untold numbers of Israelis. It has
happened every single time that these blood ransoms have been paid. It
will happen now.

Untold numbers of Israelis who are now sitting in their succas and
celebrating Jewish freedom, who are driving in their cars, who are
standing on line at the bank, who are sitting in their nursery school
classrooms painting pictures of Torah scrolls for Simhat Torah will be
killed for being Jewish while in Israel because Netanyahu has made
this deal. The unrelenting pain of their families, left to cope with
their absence, will be unimaginable.

This is a simple fact and it is beyond dispute.

It is also beyond dispute that untold numbers of IDF soldiers and
officers will be abducted and held hostage. Soldiers now training for
war or scrubbing the floors of their barracks, or sitting at a pub
with their friends on holiday leave will one day find themselves in a
dungeon in Gaza or Sinai or Lebanon undergoing unspeakable mental and
physical torture for years. Their families will suffer inhuman agony.

The only thing we don't know about these future victims is their
names. But we know what will become of them as surely as we know that
night follows day.

Netanyahu has proven once again that taking IDF soldiers hostage is a
sure bet for our Palestinian neighbors. They can murder the next batch
of Sinais and Gals, Noas and Ruths. They can kill thousands of them.
And they can do so knowing all along that all they need to do to win
immunity for their killers is kidnap a single IDF soldier.

There is no downside to this situation for those who believe all Jews
should die.

In his public statement on the Schalit deal Tuesday night, Netanyahu,
like his newfound groupies in the media, invoked the Jewish tradition
of pidyon shevuim, or the redemption of captives. But the Talmudic
writ is not unconditional. The rabbinic sages were very clear. The
ransom to be paid cannot involve the murder of other Jews.

This deal – like its predecessors – is not in line with Jewish
tradition. It stands in opposition to Jewish tradition. Even in our
darkest hours of powerlessness in the ghettos and the pales of exile,
our leaders did not agree to pay for a life with other life. Judaism
has always rejected human sacrifice.

The real question here is after five years and four months in which
Schalit has been held hostage and two-and-a-half years into
Netanyahu's current tenure as prime minister, why has the deal been
concluded now? What has changed? The answer is that very little has
changed on Netanyahu's part. After assuming office, Netanyahu
essentially accepted the contours of the abysmal agreement he has now
signed in Jewish blood.

Initially, there was a political rationale for his morally and
strategically perverse position.

He had Defense Minister Ehud Barak and the Labor Party to consider.

Supporting this deal was one of the many abject prices that Netanyahu
was expected to pay to keep Labor and Barak in his coalition.

But this rationale ended with Barak's resignation from the Labor Party
in January.

Since then, Barak and his colleagues who joined him in leaving Labor
have had no political leverage over Netanyahu.

They have nowhere to go. Their political life is wholly dependent on
their membership in Netanyahu's government. He doesn't need to pay any
price for their loyalty.

So Netanyahu's decision to sign the deal with Hamas lacks any
political rationale.

WHAT HAS really changed since the deal was first put on the table two
years ago is Hamas's position. Since the Syrian people began to rise
up against the regime of Hamas's patron and protector President Bashar
Assad, Hamas's leaders, who have been headquartered in Syria since
1998, have been looking for a way to leave. Their Muslim Brotherhood
brethren are leading forces in the Western-backed Syrian opposition.

Hamas's leaders do not want to be identified with the Brotherhood's oppressor.

With the Egyptian military junta now openly massacring Christians, and
with the Muslim Brotherhood rapidly becoming the dominant political
force in the country, Egypt has become a far more suitable home for
Hamas.

But for the past several months, Hamas leaders in Damascus have faced
a dilemma. If they stay in Syria, they lose credibility. If they
leave, they expose themselves to Israel.

According to Channel 2, in exchange for Schalit, beyond releasing a
thousand murderers, Netanyahu agreed to give safe passage to Hamas's
leaders decamping to Egypt.

What this means is that this deal is even worse for Israel than it
looks on the surface.

Not only is Israel guaranteeing a reinvigoration of the Palestinian
terror war against its civilians by freeing the most experienced
terrorists in Palestinian society, and doing so at a time when the
terror war itself is gradually escalating. Israel is squandering the
opportunity to either decapitate Hamas by killing its leaders in
transit, or to weaken the group by forcing its leaders to go down with
Assad in Syria.

At best, Netanyahu comes out of this deal looking like a weak leader
who is manipulated by and beholden to Israel's radical,
surrender-crazed media. To their eternal shame, the media have been
waging a five-year campaign to force Israel's leaders to capitulate to
Hamas.

At worst, this deal exposes Netanyahu as a morally challenged,
strategically irresponsible and foolish, opportunistic politician.

What Israel needs is a leader with the courage of one writer's
convictions. Back in 1995, that writer wrote: "The release of
convicted terrorists before they have served their full sentences
seems like an easy and tempting way of defusing blackmail situations
in which innocent people may lose their lives, but its utility is
momentary at best.

"Prisoner releases only embolden terrorists by giving them the feeling
that even if they are caught, their punishment will be brief. Worse,
by leading terrorists to think such demands are likely to be met, they
encourage precisely the terrorist blackmail they are supposed to
defuse."

The writer of those lines was then-opposition leader Binyamin
Netanyahu. Netanyahu wrote those lines in his book, Fighting
Terrorism: How Democracies Can Defeat Domestic and International
Terrorists.

Israel needs that Netanyahu to lead it. But in the face of the current
Netanyahu's abject surrender to terrorism, apparently he is gone.

Faigerayzel's alternative suggestion to free a prisoner of war without freeing terrorists.
http://shemittahrediscovered.blogspot.com/2011/10/jews-are-being-banished-from-their.html
  1. Cut all Israel funding to the PA.  Announce that from now on the word Palestinians will be replaced with the word Arab throughout Israel.. Announce  that Judea and Samaria is now under Jewish Law and that Temple Mount, Kever Yosef and Hebron are under Jewish Sovereignty and no longer under Arab control.   Jews are and should be sovereign in these very Holy sites.
  2. Threaten to cut off the electricity in Gaza/,,, unless the kidnapped soldier is released within the hour
  3. Then take 1 or both of the terrorists that murdered the Fogels and who also decapitated the Fogel baby without remorse and put him on TV and cut off one of his/their fingers.  Remind the Arabs that their electricity is about to be cut off and that terrorist fingers will be continued   to be surgically removed on a timed schedule until the kidnappee is released.  Continue step 3 and you can alternate with the other Fogel murderer or any terrorist that has blood on his hands.  Let it be broadcast live on Arab TV.  They will find it very entertaining. . .Warn them that if the kidnapped has any torture mark on his body upon release, this torture will be duplicated live on TV in kind to all  terrorists in Israeli prisons. .  On Israel TV show the pictures of the murdered Fogels and the decapitated baby and pictures of Daniel Perl etc in order that Israeli's remember that we learned these techniques from the Arabs and find it necessary to use it in turn as a deterrent of further terror attacks on Jews. On Arab TV  tell the terrorists that you are fulfilling their innermost desire for shahidism and that their families are very proud of them. But you are sorry to disappoint them since you plan on burying/disposing their body parts with pigs so they won't have a chance to go to heaven..  Tell them that their homes and the homes of their parents are being demolished and Israel will make sure that their families will receive zero compensation from any source hostile to Israel for their acts of terror against Jews innocent victims of terror.
  4. If the Kidnapped soldier is still not returned then proceed to cut off their electricity and warn them that their food and water supply is at risk.
  5. Disarm the PA Police and take away all the textbooks in the Arab Authorities and replace them with ones that acknowledge that Israel is Sovereign over all of Judea and Samaria.  Insist that any resident Jew or non Jew living within Biblical Boundaries of Israel including all of the 67 territories conquered by Israel must recognize Israel's Sovereigny and accept that Israel is the homeland of the Jewish People and they also must accept to adhere to the 7 Noahide Laws. If they do, then they have rights and will receive  protection, medical benefits, education and will be welcome to stay.
  6. Anyone not agreeing to these terms are encouraged to leave and  should choose any Arab/Muslim country or any non Muslim country that accepts them of their choice.  Show them maps of the world.  If no country is willing to accept them, find a barren place and send them there. There are no lack of  countries and places in the world ideologically attuned to their beliefs.
  7. If they choose to stay in Israel and show any aggression or hostility to Israel they will pay the consequences and receive no protection. Haba Lehargecha Hashkem LeHargo.  One who comes to kill you,  preempt it .
Sincerely, Robin Ticker --

Fwd: Shomrei Emunim Rebbe on the Geula

Shomrei Emunim Rebbe: Shimon Peres The Rasha; Obama's Speech In Cairo; & WWIII

(Tuesday, October 11th, 2011)
The Shomrei Emunim Rebbe Shlita granted an interview with the Morasha Magazine for Sukkos. In the interview, he warns of the outbreak of World War III, and spares no words in a scathing verbal attack against President Shimon Peres, who he labels a "rosha", blaming him for much of the tzoros that has befallen Am Yisrael.
The interviewer, Rabbi Turnauwer, asks the Rebbe how he views the changes taking place on the global scene.
REBBE: There can be no doubt that we are on the verge of a world war. This is an absolute certainty. The last prophecy in Tanach is in Malachi, and we learn that prior to the coming of Moshiach, it will be clear and there will be war, a terrible war, one the likes of which was not seen since the world's creation.
It is absolutely clear to us that this will take place. This is the prophecy and the prophet never said anything that HaKadosh Baruch Hu did not instruct. Even a moment before this occurs we will remain uncertain. It is sufficient for one crazy Arab who takes a plane and directs it into the Vatican, destroying it. This would send the world into frenzy.
MORASHA: How does the Rebbe see this war?
REBBE: The prophet says the war will be "a single moment", and we know that an atom bomb causes instantaneous destruction in a single moment. The Abarbanel writes in a number of seforim regarding Gog U'Magog (Armageddon) and the coming of Moshiach. Six hundred years ago he wrote how this war will look. Among the writings is when the nations of the world realize they cannot win they will turn to a nuclear bomb. This will destroy the world as we know it, in a moment. This is what the prophecy states. He however did not know about the atom bomb, but nevertheless spoke of the instantaneous destruction. The Abarbanel even describes the war will be a religious war. No one saw this 50 years ago, the matter of religion was not relevant to the nations of the world, even not with the Muslims or the Christians, but now, suddenly, they are all 'frum' and feel compelled to uproot the deniers.
We will not be warned, not even a moment in advance. Everything will destruct in a moment, as the prophet describes. Therefore, we must be prepared at any moment, with all our body and spirit.
I have been shouting for years calling upon the residents outside of Israel to come home to Eretz Yisrael. Even those unable to do so, at the very least, they should buy an apartment in Eretz Yisrael so they have a place to run to when the time comes.
MORASHA: What about the declaration of a Palestinian state?
REBBE: As the time of declaring statehood draw near, it is a sign that we are being pushed out, driven out of Eretz Yisrael. Therefore, Ishmael is turning the world upside down because he continues to seek a foothold here. It is not far off when HaKadosh Baruch Hu will remove the garbage and impurities from Eretz Yisrael, those who delay the redemption, those who will be as a husk in the wind and the flames will engulf the mountains.
For 120 years, and particularly the last 16 years, they plead with the Arabs to take the land. Our 'shkotzim' (derogatory term) want to give them the land since what is it to them? After all, for them, it is only a vehicle to raise money via the Jewish National Fund. Now that their purpose has vanished they no longer need Eretz Yisrael. They, the Arabs however refuse to take it. Do you have an explanation?
Our instinct should tell us that HaKadosh Baruch Hu runs the world. Don't worry for we have a defense minister above us, a much more successful one that the one we call the defense minister of the State of Israel. He sits in the Heavens.
All of the revolutions and turbulence began in 5760 and since then, the pace increases. We only need to see the Taliban overtake the nuclear facility in Pakistan and then it's over. We are dealing with wild animals that can threaten the entire world. And it will come to being. Then the prophecy will be fulfilled – "והתגדלתי והתקדשתי ונודעתי לעיני גויים רבים". (Hashem's presence in the world will reach its height at the End of Days when Moshiach will help fix the world. Yechezkel 38:23 description of Gog U'Magog).
500 years ago, the Abarbanel wrote in his holy writings the wonders of what will occur with the Arabs. The entire process is taking place at lightning speed as if one who has a closeout sale in a store, paying off all debts before going out of business.
Since 5760 the world has not been quiet – a tsunami, earthquakes, Japan, Hashem is taking care of business, not permitting them and tranquility. We have a sense that these acts are in preparation for what is to come.
In the 'Chessed L'Avraham' Rav Chaim Yosef David Azoulay writes in the introduction in 5760 the oceans will wash away the world and since that year we see both the Christians and Muslims are yelling that the redemption is near since they see and feel it. It is already past the stage of 'signs of the Geula' but one who delves into the words of our Sages and the holy books see that it is visible in our day, the revelation of the wonders.
The vicissitudes in the world today are not only in the Arab world, but in the United States as well. This is major but most simply miss it, they don't understand. I have studied the shameful behavior of different periods — especially that of the years of the Holocaust, in which there were partners in the murder of Jews, those who demanded money to save Jews, those who refused to accept the rabbonim.
During the time period of the establishment of the state, President Roosevelt placed an embargo, refusing to send weapons to Eretz Yisrael. And behold, they are now losing their influence and experiencing financial collapse. They have lost their values in the eyes of the international community.
Why all the nations, headed by the 'black dog' (the term used by the Rebbe for US President Barak Obama), an Arab too, and he was elected because he stood for assisting the Arab conspiracy, standing firmly together against Israel.
A maniac stands up and announces he wishes to annihilate Israel and how does the world react? Nothing! Perhaps a few sanctions… and what does HaKadosh Baruch Hu do, disharmony between them, compelling them to busy themselves with their own matters.
Regarding the changes in the world, the Admor adds that "davka" the "black dog" (term the Rebbe uses for President Barak Obama) decided to select Egypt as his venue for his great first address, and from that location he began to bark. In proximity of HaKadosh Baruch Hu, from where the great revolt will occur. And who was the first to place the knife in the back of the Egyptian president – none other than the president of the United States.
Who ever heard of such turmoil in the Arab world? In the past, if anyone dared to plot a revolution, in Egypt, Jordan or Syria, they sent troops to wipe them out, murdering tens of thousands in a number of days. No one dared to utter a word. What was bad in Tunisia, a quiet nation, and suddenly, a revolution – what was that about. This is because that was a base for the PLO in the past.
The beginning of Ishmael's fall was in Babylonia, what is Iraq today. 150,000 of these people have already fallen. For 2000 years "O violated daughter of Babylon – praiseworthy is he who repays you in accordance with the manner that you treated us. Praiseworthy is he who will clutch and dash your infants against the rock" (Tehillim: 137:8,9) and Baruch Hashem now, we merit seeing this. Is this a trivial matter? Is he blind?
Look and see just how the leftists hide their true view. Sitting here is Eretz Yisrael is a murderer. I speak of him since he played a role in destroying neshamas during the aliyah period, and in addition to this, he is credited with the Oslo Agreement that he brought to Eretz HaKodesh all the murderers from Tunisia. Some 2,000 Jewish lives have been claimed since as a result of his actions, this rosha. For this we don't see a need for an investigation! We simply ignore this?
"This klipa called Peres" displayed pig's feet as he helped bnei yeshivos. He destroys yiddishkheit and there is no one else like him. He sold Eretz Yisrael to Arafat (May his memory be wiped out) for his own interests. All the thievery by elected officials that we have seen. One must question why he is given respect and honor.
