Why am I cc'ing Agudah?
Jewish Heritage and our rights to Eretz Yisroel or rather the deletion of such a narrative is a major focus of the Non Jewish World.
The biggest threat our enemies have coming from Israel is the Jewish Biblical and historical claim to Eretz Yisroel.
it's not mighty guns and airplanes that scares our enemies the most.
The root of the conflict is ideological and religious.
From the River to the Sea.... They chant and we know what that really means.
Yes we can get tons of funding from the American government for Jewish Education! Will it have strings attached?
My guess is absolutely yes.
They will want to control the narrative and the text books.
May I suggest that it's time for Agudah to play an active role in oversight and engage in creating and editing the content of actual written material in secular textbooks upon finding misinformation. There is an organization called Truth in textbooks which is addressing this matter. Perhaps Agudah can partner with them.
Lies and misinformation, brainwashing in the secular world, has already come to haunt us and will continue to do so if not addressed forcefully now.
Indifference is not an option.
Remaining apart ensuring that just our Yeshivot have accurate information based on Torah is very important but is part of a Galut mentality that the Jewish people just want and need to be separate free to practice our religion without interference, harassment and involvement from the outside.
But our mission is more comprehensive than merely being a holy nation which is a lofty goal all by itself and has kept the Jewish people alive in all these years of Galuth.
Shemot 19:5-6

We are commanded to keep Hashem 's Covenant making us a treasured Nation because the entire world is His and Hashem instructed us to teach the world and to be a Mamlechet Cohanim veGoy Kadosh, a Kingdom of Priests and a H-ly nation.
Yes we must remain holy but yes we also need to be a Kingdom of Priests and be the teachers of the world for a better G-dly society. This knowledge comes from Zion as it says
כי מציון תצא תורה ודבר השם מירושלים
This archeological dig of an ancient Road is one example that strengthens Israel's claim to Jerusalem. Being proactive is so important!

This is necessary to counter lies and misinformation coming from those in the Middle East funding America's secular education in the billions of dollars going on for years, in Elite Universities like Harvard, Columbia and Yale etc... and in Elementary Schools K-12 across America.

Jerusalem: If These Stones Could Talk
The packet focuses on understanding the pasuk כי מציון תצא תורה ודבר ה' מירושלים ("From Zion shall come forth the Torah, and the word of God from Jerusalem".) The question is to understand the latter part of the pasuk, and the word of God from Jerusalem. What does it mean that the word of G-d is from Jerusalem? The packet offers 4 answers: Shechina (Divine Presence) never departs from Jerusalem, Jews feel a closer connection to G-d in Jerusalem, Jerusalem is a city that teaches us Jewish values, Jerusalem is the city that teaches morality to the world.
