Dear Friends,

Jewish Women everywhere are adding their signature to the below letter in solidarity with their unfortunate fellow Jews in Israel suffering under terrorism.
Please add your signature and email to Ambassador Dermer - ambassador@washington.mfg.gov.il and let him know that American Jewish women care.
Sincerely,

Mr. Ron Dermer
US Ambassador of Israel

Dear Ambassador Dermer,

At a gathering of Lubavitch women tonight in Crown Heights, the on-going horrific acts of terrorist murders by the Arab enemies of our fellow Jews in Eretz Yisroel was discussed.

While we welcome recent news that the Israeli government is finally creating legislation that will take tax revenues collected from the PA and use them to help Jewish victims r"l, we insist Israel take even stronger measures at deterrence and stop any and all "salaries" being paid to convicted terrorists in jail not to mention clamping down immediately on the financial rewards allowed to pass onto the families of terrorists who are shot and killed!

Additionally, we are appalled at the extended imprisonment - without trial - of Elisha Odess and the physical and mental torture he has endured since being arrested more than two years ago.

As you know this young person was accused of having burned down and killed an Arab family in the Arab village of Duma in the summer of 2015.  Yet investigations have repeatedly shown the impossibility of anyone entering the village, burning down the home, having enough time to scrawl two messages on a nearby wall and then exiting without being seen or caught.  Moreover, evidence was raised that the incident was the result of an internal dispute among Duma families.

Considering the facts that even terrorists' legal rights are upheld, surely Elisha Odess is entitled to the same.  We ask that you look into these matters surrounding Israel's law enforcement at once.

On a final note we reiterate the Lubavitcher Rebbe's position that saving and protecting lives takes precedence over diplomacy and concessions do not breed conciliation but instead increase exploitation.

Sincerely,

Tamar Adelstein, co-ordinator
