Apologies...Maybe Yaalon should apologize to Aish Kodesh (and Hashem) for uprooting 6 year old fruit bearing Olive Trees causing a near lynching instead of to Kerry. Maybe Omni and Gilad Sharon should apologize retroactively for the pain and suffering of the Disengagement.

Defense Minister: Kerry is 'Obsessive and Messianic'

Yaalon Apologizes : I Didn't Intend to Offend Kerry

Following public storm over his comments, Defense Minister says he had "no intention" of offending Secretary of State Kerry.

Op-Ed: What Really Happened at Eish Kodesh

אש קודש - בוגי יעלון הורס כ 20 דונם כרם זיתים באש קודש ב"צו שימוש מפריע"

Seeing is believing Youtube: Boogie Yaalon Destroys 20 Dunam of an Olive Vineyard  (couple hundred olive trees that were about 6 years old and gave fruit) in Aish Kodesh authorized by "Disruptive Use" Order.
"Disruptive use" orders allow the Civil Administration to seize land from Israelis in Judea and Samaria based on complaints from Palestinian Arabs, whether or not there is any evidence that those complaining own the land – or, in fact, that anyone owns the land.

Esh Kodesh Spokesman Reveals Truth Of Kusra Clash

Aron Katzov, spokesman of the Samarian community, tells how Jews were attacked far away from Kusra, IDF destruction led to attack."The army came and uprooted about 20 dunam, a couple hundred olive trees that were about 6 years old and gave fruit," reported Katzov, himself an officer in the IDF reserves. The destruction came despite the fact that "the army and the courts already ruled that it's not Palestinian land."

The reason for the destruction is the "disruptive use order," which Katzov calls a "weird law."

Only in Judea and Samaria "one person, the legal adviser of a part in the army, can decide on any part of land that belongs to Jews, and only Jews, to uproot, even if there's no one else that says it's their land," explains Katzov, adding that they weren't even informed of the decision before the destruction.

Katzov reports that after every destruction emboldened Arabs come to attack Jewish property, bragging on Facebook that the army is giving them the land. Katzov recalls having to defend the fence of his vineyard from one such attack.

Residents of Esh Kodesh have reported previous attacks originating in Kusra, including a mob attack in 2012 in which hundreds of Arab men surrounded the village screaming "slaughter the Jews."

Video Shows Abducted Jews; Feiglin: 'Ya'alon to Blame'

Documentation of Jews abducted by Arab mob in Samaria; Feiglin attacks Ya'alon's orders of vineyard destruction that led to ambush.

Feiglin in response: Join Moshe Feiglin and Manhigut Yehudit - Zo Artzeinu this Friday in Aish Kodesh as they co-sponsor a Major Tu B'shvat Tree-Planting Last week, the IDF destroyed 300 olive trees planted on Jewish land in Aish Kodesh. These trees - which had stood for 6 years - were not on disputed land and should have been left alone for the Jews to enjoy. Our answer is simple: You uprooted and destroyed 300 trees??? Two-for-the price-of-one: We will plant 600 NEW fruit trees!!! Come join us! Friday, 16 Shvat (Jan. 17th) 9:00 AM  Aish Kodesh is in the Shilo area. All are invited to attend and help with the tree planting!  For more information, contact Shmuel Sackett: shmuel@manhigut.org  If you cannot attend the tree planting but would like to participate, you can buy trees to be planted in Aish Kodesh. Click here to plant your trees today (and read about the planting of Argan trees  in the Negev as well).

Abbas vs Facts: Jews 'Weren't Attacked' In Kusra

Despite clear video evidence to the contrary, PA chair claims 'cultured' Kusra residents 'didn't hit' beaten and abducted Jews

To add insult to injury  After Beatings and near Lynching.....Jews detained and not Arabs.....Police perverting justice.

Attorney Slams Media 'Slander' of Abducted Jews

Itamar Ben-Gvir meets with Jews abducted and beaten by Arabs in Samaria; attacks IDF police complicity, media distortion of events.http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/176061#.UtZLpBBdVpt

Jerusalem Magistrate Court: Jews detained in Kfar Kusra incident to be released

Honenu reports that, "Unfortunately we are once again witnesses to a case in which the police detain the victims of an assault while the assailants and terrorists walk freely."

Another example of Police and the Police Investigation Unit (biased against Settlers) treating the Settler as the attacker....

Anyone who saw the video clip of the violent detention will now understand that the Police Investigation Unit is protecting policemen, authorizing violence by policemen and abandoning citizens.
Honenu will appeal the decision.

Talking about apologies.....This leads us to the debate whether we should speak disparagingly about Sharon after his death.  Naftali Bennett rebuked Orit Struk for her comments and she needed to issue a "clarification and apology".  After I read that, I concluded that Naftali Bennett doesn't have too many friends and relatives whose homes were bulldozed in 2005 nor facing possible bulldozing in a future expulsion chas veshalom. He just doesn't get it.  David Wilder, Orit Struk, Arlene Kushner, Helen Freedman...we get it. The purpose of MK Orit Struk's comments were not to pain the family of Ariel Sharon. It was obvious to me that they were rather directed to Netanyahu and to Yaalon.  Like Sharon, Netanyahu and Yaalon are perceived as right wingers.  Presently however, what happened in Aish Kodesh and documented many times over in the past as well, show them ultimately responsible for intolerable acts waged on the Settlers of Judea and Samaria. MK's Struk's comments was a warning and wake up call to them.   Sharon's final deeds is  placing a very negative spin on how he will be remembered and the Disengagement is very likely his legacy. Is that what they want for themselves as well?  Her comments were LeToeles (served a useful purpose, a preventive measure for future expulsions and intolerable acts) and not mere Lashon Hara (evil talk).

Bennett: Struk's Comments on Sharon 'Very Serious'

Jewish Home chairman says that fellow MK Struk's comments on Sharon's death "should not have been made."

Economy Minister and Jewish Home chairman Naftali Bennett on Sunday said that remarks by MK Orit Struk of his party about the death of former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon were "very serious".

"Indeed, the comments made by MK Orit Struk are very serious and should not have been made. I clarified the issue in a conversation with her. She issued a clarification and an apology. Let's save the controversies for another day," wrote Bennett on his Facebook page in response to a user who asked, "How much longer will we be waiting for a condemnation of Mrs. Struk's comments?"

In her reaction to Sharon's death, Struk had said, "The truth must be said: Sharon was one of the great builders of the land of Israel, and its greatest destroyer. Someone who knew to defeat terror, and someone who caused all the south of the country to be hit by terror. His great firmness and ability to decide and act enabled him to reach impressive achievements, as well as disastrous processes."

She added, "Alongside our thanks and honor of the great contributions of Sharon to the state of Israel, it is impossible not to also thank G-d, that Sharon was taken from our public lives before he managed to carry out on the residents of Judea, Samaria and the 'Judea Samaria belt' the disaster he conducted on residents of Gush Katif and the Gaza Strip."

Her remarks were met with outrage by many, including MK Karin Elharar (Yesh Atid), who wrote on her Facebook page, "Shame on you Orit Struk. As the State of Israel is mourning the death of a leader, MK Struk saw fit to get even. Her statements about the late Ariel Sharon serious hurt his family's feelings and the feelings of the Israeli public, who lost yesterday one of the most influential people on both its past and future."

Talking about apologies...

Batya Medad writes in her Blog:

" If Omri and Gilad had apologized for Disengagement in the name of their father, if they would have used their wealth and influence for the DP's, the displaced people, those torn from their homes, that would be a different story.  If Omri and Gilad would have admitted that Disengagement had been a terrible, dangerous mistake that we're unfortunately paying for and will pay for a long time more, then I'd feel more charitable and then the amcha would have come in the numbers the family had been expecting."

And finally,  I am waiting for the MOETZES GEDOLEI HATORAH and HESDER YESHIVOT and all Rabbanim whose job is to stand up for Torah, to demand an apology from the Israeli government for uprooting 300 Olive fruit bearing trees.  Clearly a Biblical violation.

Let's all support Zo Artzeinu and send some Rabbinic representatives to Fridays' plantings with Manhigut Yehudit at Aish Kodesh and please be sure to take some nice photo ops.  This will publicize that planting trees in the Land of Israel is a Mitzvath Aseh, a positive Torah commandment  and uprooting fruit bearing trees is a Torah violation, a Mitzvah Lo Taaeh.

  Shame on you, Minister Yaalon!

Forget the sermons.  That would be the best and most truthful Tu Bishvat message ever especially preceding a Shemittah year!
