ISIS Burns 19 Yazidi Sex Slaves Alive in Cages; ISIS Now Using Facebook to Sell Sex Slaves

bs"d

Republican's, Democrats and Independents.... My Fellow American:

WHY ISN'T/HAVEN'T CONGRESS TAKING EMERGENCY ACTION TO  LIBERATE THE YEZIDI SLAVES  and invite all members of the Yezidi faith as honorary citizens of the USA and to make sure that they have first priority before any other Migrant?

For this to happen Congress needs to stand up strong against the Obama Administration who can't differentiate between a fundamental Islamic Terrorist and a persecuted victim!!!!

We have known about the Yezidi Holocaust since August 2014.  It happened around Tisha Baav Time.  Yet, the world is standing by as they did by the Holocaust in Nazi Germany,  allowing ISIS to gain power, wealth, territory rather than  stopping their barbaric subhuman crimes against humanity.

Shavuot: What your Kids MUST Learn Straight From You

bs"d

Thank you Matot Arim for sending this out!

My additional comments.

Besides the links below, the Tefilla, the liturgy,  from beginning till end is focused on Eretz Yisroel.  Starting from Mah Tovu...VeAni BeRov Chasdecha Avo Beisecha...Parshiot of Tefillin, Korbanot, Pesukei D'Zimra, Shma and Shemoneh Esreh, Bentching Mezuzah all have references regarding Hashem's Covenant with our Forefathers promising Eretz YIsroel as an everlasting Covenant to the People of Israel for all generations. There are also constant references in the liturgy regarding the Commandments we must keep in the Land, Mitzvoth Teluyot Baaretz and the H-ly Temple, The Beit Hamikdash.  Our nation's deep and constant yearning for the rebuilding of the Temple is a repetitive theme as well!   The book of Ruth and Naomi is a story of a wealthy family that left their poor brethren in the Holy Land to fend for themselves only to return to the Land impoverished.

Let us all be worthy of G-d's Salvation, the Geula,  by desiring the precious gift that G-d has bestowed upon HIs people Israel,The  Beautiful Land of Israel!

Do Our Kids Know About Eretz Yisrael?

This Shavuout, when it is customary to study the Torah with our children, make sure your children hear about Eretz Yisrael – straight from you.

Because being faithful to Eretz Yisrael is a character trait that is passed on individually -- from parent to child and from each teacher to her or his student.

Here are some bare essentials for you to learn personally with your own children!

 1. Rashi on the very first verse in the Torah - Breshit 1 1. The best known commentator on the Torah explains prophetically that Jews will be accused of stealing the Land of Israel. He's referring to the "occupation" argument!

2. Breshit, Lech-Lecha (12:1): Note the FIRST topic G-d raises with the first Jew in the world (Abraham) is not democracy or even Shabat - it's Eretz Yisrael.

3. VaYikra 25:23. Eretz Yisrael must not be sold to others (and obviously not given away to them for free!)

4. BaMidbar 33:53. The commandment to settle the land of Israel.

5. Dvarim 7: 2. The famous "lo te-chanem". Has 2 separate meanings. The first  is not to glorify or prettify foreign cultures which contradict our own, such as the Palestinian culture of terrorism. For example, the Israeli artist who compared a suicide bomber to Snow White http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snow_White_and_The_Madness_of_Truth; fortunately a heroic Israeli ambassador, Zvi Mazel, was on hand to deal with the problem. The second meaning of "lo te-chanem" is not to allow Eretz Yisrael to fall into the hands of other nations.

6. Joshua Chapter 15 -- description of the borders of Eretz Yisrael which most certainly include Jerusalem and the entire Judea and Samaria as well as Gush Katif (note the clear reference to Gaza (the vicinity of Gush Katif) being part of  the inheritance of the  tribe of Judah.

7. Gemara (Talmud), Eruvin, 45 Daf 1.  Emphasizes that border communities must be defended even against petty thieves (minor property crimes), even on Shabat. For those familiar with Talmudic logic, this teaches the importance of protecting one's borders hence one's country.

8. Israel's Declaration of Independence does not start with the words "Holocaust" or "peace". It starts with the words ERETZ YISRAEL!

Please study with your children -- and please ask your children's principal and teacher to teach these source materials -- and many more!

Thank you from Mattot Arim

http://he.wikisource.org/wiki/%D7%A1%D7%A4%D7%A8%D7%99_%D7%A2%D7%9C_%D7%93%D7%91%D7%A8%D7%99%D7%9D_%D7%99%D7%91#.D7.A4.D7.A1.D7.95.D7.A7_.D7.9B.D7.98_.28.D7.9B.D7.9C_.D7.94.D7.A4.D7.A8.D7.A7.29.28.D7.9B.D7.9C_.D7.94.D7.A4.D7.A1.D7.95.D7.A7.29

Leah's Goldsmith's Blog. Itamar (near Shchem) and Archeology. Fighting BDS and Their False Given of an Unlawful Jewish Occupation.

bs"d

Why do the Arabs get over emotional and hostile when we talk about our rights to the Land of Israel based on the Bible? Because they know we are hitting the truth.  They tantrum  to silence and intimidate. But remember, "There is no "Occupation of Palestine."

http://touritamarsupportisrael.com/leahs-blog-june-3-2016/

http://touritamarsupportisrael.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/IMG_14051-420x315.jpg

"For behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and lo- my sheaf rose up and stood erect. Your sheaves gathered around and bowed to mine."

A few years ago I found by chance a heavy stone bowl used for grinding barley. See the flat rock nearby it, obviously ancient, decorated by hundreds of little tiny impressions of barley and whatever other grains became embedded into it thousands of years ago. This is the Land of Yosef, a fertile place that had storerooms and grain pits. It was an agricultural paradise and our people ate figs and broad beans, date palms, olives and chick peas. They were herders of sheep and goats and made wine. Around this time of the year the grains would blow in the hot chamsin winds and would turn golden dry. The hard figs would begin to ripen on the trees and the first bright red buds would appear on the pomegranate trees. The olives also emerge as tiny green pearls. There are a lot of wells and cisterns on the sides of the hard rocky ground of the Tels all around these hills. The water was stored in them when the soil became dusty like now. I am sure there is a story to this bowl I have found. For sure it has a legend, has a torah of just how the fields and harvest time directly brought to bear our identity as a people bound to this precious Land. It's a story about the baskets of grain, the jugs of olive oil and of course, the Omer, the refined barley all grown right here in the Land of Shechem and brought to the Temple and offered.

For Shavuot, the mood is agricultural Israel. The fields in Bethlehem are illuminated, flourishing again and the bounty is being gathered in. "Tonight he will be winnowing barley on the threshing floor." Ruth's redeemer gave her 6 measures of barley and soon afterwards the heir that will be iy"h, Mashiach.

Way earlier, even before Matan Torah, Avraham Avinu made a kinyan in Chevron when purchasing the field, taking ownership and not only for a burial spot but for an achuzat Olam. "The field with its cave from the Hitties". "Vaykam Sde Efron"- meaning –the field and cave were elevated UP to a new level of spiritual heights in the physical realm. Avraham made a personal connection with the terrain, fulfilling the covenant and purchasing and preparing it for future generations.

Ruth's great grand – son, David Hamelech purchased the Temple Mount in Jerusalem from Arvnah HaYevoosi when it was only a field, a threshing floor- for 50 shekels of silver. It began that way before the Temple stood erect on it ,bikurim were offered there and it became the highest pinnacle in our history.

Settling the Land, the desolate country side, widening its borders and cultivating the Land affects every Jew. The materialness of it is not one of a personal interest but of national identity. Israel's target goal, its aims and objectives all are tied into this actualization of life in and on the Land. Shavuot is all about after leaving the exile state of mind (on Pesach) and going on to offering the Omer, the barley grown right on this soil- the refining process- entering a new realm of independence, of our own physical place that we have to refine and refine many times over till we can offer it back to Hashem.

The fields that were asleep have arisen.

The tillage, cultivating and farming going on here on that same rocky ground are nothing less than a miracle. For years now, the world has been super obsessed with it. They want to separate our Yesod-Malchut bond with our Land. They would like to rip us apart. This effects every Jew no matter where s/he may be. We can either bow or stand upright. It is a battle. "Many nations bow down to you- be master of your brothers! Cursed be those who curse you and blessed are those who bless you!" Genesis 27:29

Shabbat Shalom and Chag Shavuot Sameyach! Leah

An archeological timeline of eternity
by David Wilder, Eretz.Org
Erev Yom Hebron 2016
Archeologists Immanuel Eisenberg and David Ben-Shlomo had just about wrapped up the excavations.  Their finds were admirable.

This wasn't Eisenberg's first Hebron dig. Back in 1999, working on the northern edge of Tel Hebron, his finds could not be described as anything less than astonishing.  They ranged from 4,500 hundred years ago, that being the early bronze age, to about 1,700 years ago, that being the Byzantine era.

On the western-most area excavated, he discovered two walls, one dated back to the days of Noah and the flood. Adjacent to this 4,500 year old find were stone stairs, in perfect condition, from the same era, most probably, leading to the 'gate of the city.'  Next to the stairs is another wall, this one being 3,700 years old, that being the middle bronze era, that being the time of Abraham and Sarah.

On the eastern most side of the excavation are Byzantine wine cisterns.

Just to the east of them is a 'four-room' house, 2,700 years old, that being the First-Templ e era, built during the days of King Hezekiah.  During this age, the kingdom utilized Hebron as a place to store food for the army, then fighting a war with Assyrian King Sinharib.  The grains were kept in clay jars. Near the bottom of the jar's handle was a small seal, identifying the jar and its contents as property of the Kingdom.

The seal itself looked something like a cross between a bird and a beetle, some with two wings, and others with four. Above the seal was inscribed the word, L'Melech, 'belonging to  the King.' Beneath the seal was another word, identifying the area where the food jar was being stored.

During these excavations, Eisenberg and his team discovered five of these such seals, all marked with the words 'L'Melech, and underneath, in ancient Hebrew, the word 'Hebron.' Eisenberg, speaking to then defense minister Moshe Arens, at the site, exclaimed, "if anyone had any doubts as to whether this is the original, Biblical Hebron, those doubts have all been erased. We have proof that Jews have lived here since the days of Abraham."

Inline image 4

Eisenberg and Ben Shlomo's excavations southern  side of the Tel were no less impressive. They uncovered a 2,000 year old industrial area, complete with ponds and aqueducts for water flow.  A house, or more likely, pottery factory, burned down during the wars with the Romans, containing remnants of jars was found. Inside the house, two amazing discoveries: a large iron key to the building's door,   and also a jar containing olive pits, 2,000 years old. Additionally they found both olive oil and wine presses.

Parts of the south-eastern region of the Tel had been previously excavated by Philip Hammond, from the United States, in the middle 1960s. Hammond uncovered parts of a 3,700 year old wall, whose stones were so large he described them as Cycloptic.
Eisenberg and Ben-Shlomo continued to dig out this wall, revealing a large section of it. However, a most astounding revelation was determined, that being that the wall had served Hebron for over a thousand years. That is from the time of Abraham, probably until the destruction at the hands of Sinharib, 2,700 years ago.

In other words, when Abraham entered Hebron from the south, this he saw this wall. When Calev ben Yefuheh came into Hebron, being a member of the spies Moses sent to Israel from the desert, this is the wall he viewed. And when David began the Kingdom of Israel in Hebron, some 3,000 years ago, this wall surrounded the original 'City of David.'

The dig was just about completed. A bulldozer started pushing out dirt that had been piled up during the dig. As it finished its work, the archaeologists requested that it continue digging down, where the dirt had covered the earth. Just to make sure…

Inline image 3

To their surprise and amazement, the bulldozer uncovered a large pit. Continued work led to another remarkable discovery. Two very large Mikvahs, that is ritual pools, in beautiful condition were found at that site. They were dated to the Second Temple period, that is, some 2,000 years old. They were astounded.

There was no doubt as to the authenticity of these artifacts or the time of their origin. And here again, solid proof of, not only a Jewish presence, but of a solid presence. Only such a population could allow for this type of industrial area and such large mikvahs.
And of course, the foremost site in Hebron is the huge monumental structure built by Herod atop the caves of Machpela, again, 2,000 years ago.

The Jewish population in Hebron, as most of the Jewish inhabitants of Judea, where expelled by the Romans following the destruction of the 2nd Temple and the defeat of the Jewish revolts. However, there are recorded accounts of Jews praying at Ma'arat HaMachpela in the middle of the 6th century.  And in 614 it is written by the Muslim historian Ibn Huldan 'that the Jews in Hebron assisted the Persians to conquer the city, thereby ending the persecution at the hands of the Byzantines.'  When exactly the Jews returned to Hebron is not entirely clear, but from this account it is clear that they had come back.

It seems that there were no Jews in Hebron was between 1100 until the middle 1200s. In 1100, following the Crusader conquest, Jews were expelled from the city.  After the Mamluk conquest in 1260, Jews again returned to Hebron.

The Avraham Avinu Synagogue was built in 1540 by Jews who had been expelled from Spain in 1492. And so the community continued until the 1929 riots and expulsion. For the first time in almost 1000 years, Hebron was emptied of its age-old Jewish community.

Until 1967.

So there we have it: 3,700-, 3,000-, 2700-, 2,000-, 1,400-, 900-, 500-  years of archeological evidence of a Jewish community in Hebron.

In other words, on June 8, 1967, that being the 29th day of Iyar in 5727, the Jewish people did not conquer and occupy a foreign city. Rather they returned home, home to Hebron, the roots of the Jewish people, the roots of humanity.
