My husbands letter to a co-worker......

bs"d

Dear Friends and Family, amv"sh

Here is a letter my husband wrote to his non Jewish co-worker.  I thought I would share it with you because I think it's a great letter.  BTW he is a child of a Holocaust survivor.  His mother was from Poland.  So am I. My parents  Czechoslovakian.

Dear Larry,

I'm sick of  diplomatic "friends" telling us to give away more and more of the patrimony of the people of Israel, all the while telling us it's for our good, while the result is the creation of larger and larger "Judenrein" zones in our tiny homeland.

You say it's been noted that the State of Israel possesses from 70 to 300 nuclear devises.

I don't know who's been doing the noting.

Not me.

I don't know whether Israel has one such weapon or a thousand.

Do you?

Israel long-time public policy has been to encourage a state of nuclear ambiguity (which happens to be the title of a book by a friend of mine, Joel Cohen, published in the 1990s) regarding whether it has nuclear weapons.

Such a policy may help deter attacks by certain rational state actors, but is in any case useless with respect to the Islamist zealots and fanatics intent on martyrdom who are increasingly influential in or are coming to or have achieved control of many regimes in the Middle East.

Please read the 83rd Psalm.   (It's the "Poem song of Asaph" that begins (in the King James version):

1

Keep not thou silence, O God:

hold not thy peace,

and be not still, O God.

2

For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult:

and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.

3

They have taken crafty counsel against thy people,

and consulted against thy hidden ones.

4

They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation;

that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

5

For they have consulted together with one consent:

they are confederate against thee:

6

the tabernacles of Edom, and the Ish'maelites;

of Moab, and the Hag'arenes;

7

Gebal, and Ammon, and Am'alek;

the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;

8

Assur also is joined with them:

they have helped the children of Lot.

Selah.

Nothing's changed but some names in 3,000 plus years.

"They" want to kill us.

("They" of course doesn't mean everybody, but there are plenty of "them" to go around, and if the "others" don't stand up, "they" take control!)

I'm sick of listening to the pretense that this is a mere kindergarten dispute.

The polite version of the subtext being, grow up!

It's an existential fight.

One in which the people of Israel are immensely outnumbered.

"They" won't be satisfied with any compromise.

"They" don't want a state.

"They"  want to displace, destroy, and kill us!

And then erase all memory of us.

Anything else that may be said is mere pretense and delusion (I'll say that too often for Jews, it's comforting self-delusion)!

If this sounds shrill, it's because I see a storm coming, and must sound an alarm for any who will hear.

Sincerely yours,

Jay T.

Fwd: ISRAELI POLICE COVER-UP OF BRUTAL MURDERS IN HEBRON

bs"d

Please report this in the news and send it to your lists. Al Taamod Al Dam Reiacha.

This failure of the Government of Israel to protect its tax paying citizens in Judea and Samaria has been going on for a while.  Arabs steal their sheep, start fires on their land and throw rocks. When these Jewish citizens try to defend themselves or their properties and go to the police, the police do not investigate the matter fairly but rather accept lies and false witnesses from the Arabs who accuse the Jewish victims of being the aggressors.  Jews have come to expect that when they go to the Police to report the crime, the tables are turned on them and they the victims are arrested.  They are forced to then hire lawyers to defend their rights.

Not only are the settlers not protected, they sometimes have their weapons confiscated.  Americans take their the 2nd Amendment of the Bill of Rights, freedom to bear arms,  for granted.    It is for this reason there exists an organization called Honenu.org and their team of over 300 Volunteer lawyers assisting over 1000 arrestees yearly —soldiers and civilians alike! Can you imagine how often this is happening??????

As bad as this is, the victims can consider themselves fortunate when they are not murdered like Asher Palmer z"l and his two year old hy"d. Had the police been doing their jobs properly, these attacks on Jewish settlers would have stopped long ago!

This time Rachmana litzlan, the attackers accomplished their goal.  Please read Helen Freedman's pained and  heart wrenching words and Dovid  Wilders report below of this travesty. It is truly heartbreaking to contemplate the additional tragic consequences for this family had it not been proven that this indeed was a terror attack and not an accident.

This is not an isolated case of purposeful negligence of the pro Arab police. Read about it from Kalman Liebskind a Maariv reporter.  Jewish blood is not Hefker!

MYTHS & MURDER - by Helen Freedman

These definitely are the times that try mens' and womens' souls. This past week we had to put up with the indecency of having the chief promoter of Iran's global nuclear warfare, Ahmadinejad, at the United Nations. We also had to tolerate the travesty of Mahmoud Abbas whose lies and distortions about who is "occupying" Israeli land, and PA entitlement to a state, are intolerable. We heard the unending offers of PM Netanyahu, almost begging Abbas to take his hand and make the "painful concessions" necessary to achieve the "two-state solution," knowing that the Arabs will never recognize Israel's right to exist.  The icing on the cake was President Obama's "pro-Israel" speech, where he drew moral equivalency between the entitlements of the "Palestinians" and the Israelis. He sees no discrepancy in their claims. He sees them as mutually deserving. All of this occurred in the atmosphere of hatred created by Durban III.

Did we expect anything different? Are we naive enough to think that somehow "peace" would be discovered hiding behind some unexplored corner? Did we think that the anti-Semitism, disguised as anti-Zionism, would somehow disappear? Of course not. Even those who rallied, made speeches, and even got arrested, as I did, understood that we couldn't remain silent, but our voices would go unheard.

However, all of the above, and so much more, did not horrify me so much as the report I received from Arutz Sheva this weekend about the murder of 25 year old Asher Palmer and his one year old son, Yonatan, by rock throwing Arabs. Tragically, the deaths of Jews at the hands of Arab terrorists is an ongoing fact in Israel. What was different this time, was that the Israeli police covered up the crime, calling it a traffic accident caused by driver error. Their reason for doing so was not to cause a disruption in the speeches going on at the UN.

When the roads were opened up to ease travel for Arabs, we knew that more accidents would occur. Arabs like to speed up to Israeli cars, jam on their brakes, pass them dangerously on the road, and conduct other menacing actions. However, drive-by shootings, and rocks thrown by Arabs from speeding cars at oncoming cars driven by Israelis, are attacks that have been on the increase. The critical difference this time is that the Israeli police covered up the truth so as not to enflame the Arabs. Can a country exist in such a manner? Can its people survive when they have to battle both the external and internal enemies?

Please read David Wilder's report on the murder and the cover-up. Write to PM Netanyahu at all of the following email addresses. Express your outrage at this indecency and cowardice. Send AFSI any responses you receive:

Killing Asher Palmer Twice

David Wilder

September 25, 2011

The Palmer family is very special. I don't know many people whose 'mesirut nefesh' for Eretz Yisrael is greater than theirs. They came to Israel about 30 years ago. They moved because they wanted their children to grow up in a Jewish environment. Moshe, the father of the family, has a special expertise and despite numerous, numerous attempts, was never able to find suitable employment in Israel. As a result, he works in the United States, coming home to his family in Kiryat Arba several times a year, celebrating with them various Jewish holidays and events.

Molly Palmer brought up her children with much love and care for Eretz Yisrael. She has worked for many years teaching English in Kiryat Arba and the Southern Hebron Hills region. I also seem to recall that she's an excellent cook and baker. In the past she sold various pastries, of which I remember enjoying immensely.

On Friday afternoon Molly Palmer and her family were stunned, as were all that know them, by the terrible news that her 25 year old son Asher, together with his year old son, were killed in a 'traffic accident.' Police reported that as a result of speeding, he had lost control of his car not too far outside of Kiryat Arba. The car flipped over twice in the air, being totally destroyed as it crash landed.

Immediately, even before the victims were identified, the army released a statement that soldiers stationed in the area hadn 't witnessed any rock-throwing, or any Arabs fleeing from the area of the 'accident.'

This past Friday was one of those times when no one had any idea what the day would bring. As a rule, when Arabs want to protest, Friday, after their prayers, is the time. Following Obama's rejection of a UN-declared palestinian state, together with Abu-Mazen's speech scheduled for Friday, tension was high. Bolstered security forces were stationed throughout Judea and Samaria, prepared for the worst.

Those fears were a double-edged sword. Media account over the past few weeks centered not so much on Arab violence, rather on Israel responses, and most particularly, those of 'radical settlers.' Normal, everyday Jews are so being labeled. For example, New York Times Bureau chief Ethan Bronner, in an article posted Friday, writes,"...Bat Ayin, a fenceless settlement near Bethlehem known for its radicalism.'Known by whom? Bat Ayin, a community of Hassidic Jews in the Gush Eztion area, is far from 'radical' as I would define the word.

The police/security establishment has one fear, and one fear alone. It is not dead Jews. It is dead Arabs. They are petrified of the thought that Arabs will attack Jews, on the roads or in communities, and that the Jews will respond, causing Arab casualties, resulting in Arab propaganda campaigns, similar to those following the Marmara debacle, leading to massive foreign pressure on Israel.

The area of the accident is quite prone to rock attacks. Cars are stoned daily, many times in areas known from their vulnerability. Unfortunately, very little, if anything, is done to prevent these attacks. Very high ranking officers, during instructions to lower-level commanders, have been quoted as saying that 'rock attacks are sufferable.' In other words, the IDF really doesn't have any responsibility to stop such attacks or apprehend the terrorists hurling the rocks. The 'settlers' can and will just have to live with this reality.

However, lately, our enemies have begun using a new method in their continued attempts to kill Jews. Instead of standing on the side of the road and throwing a rock, they are heaving them from moving cars, coming at you from the opposite direction. They toss a rock out their window, in front of your car, just prior to passing you.

The impact is tremendous. The rock is flying at the speed at which the car was driving. When it impacts with the car moving in the other direction, the force is phenomenal.

I've been told of numerous such incidents in recent weeks, in the exact area where the 'accident' killing Asher and Yonatan Palmer occurred.

On Friday afternoon, this is exactly what happened. That's why no one was seen fleeing on foot, because the rock was thrown from a moving vehicle. It hit the windshield, breaking it, hitting Asher in the face, causing him to lose control of the car. The rock was found in the wrecked car. A hole, the type of which caused by a thrown rock, was also identified in the windshield. Yet the police and army climbed up a very high tree, claiming that the 'accident' was Asher's fault. They claimed that the rock entered the car as it flipped over in a rock-bed on the side of the road. All this in an effort to cover up the murder of two Jews by Arabs. According to my sources, the police have already concluded that the 'accident' was not an accident, that it was cold-blooded murder; the killing two Jews.

There are other details which have not yet been released, and I'm hesitant to fully publicize them for the moment. Some of Asher's possessions seemed to be missing and have not yet been found at the scene of the crash. There are also signs of possible additional violence at the site. These details prove, without any doubt, that the accident was Arab terror.

The police, not yet weary of the additional pain they've already caused the Palmer family are continuing to torture them; they went to court to obtain an order allowing them to perform an autopsy on the two bodies. Jewish law, excluding unique circumstances, forbids autopsies. However all evidence, including examinations of the bodies, the car, and the scene of the attack are proof enough. Why continue to cause unnecessary suffering?!

The seriousness of this cannot be downplayed. Israeli security forces intentionally attempted to cover-up murder. The implications are mind-boggling. In order to prevent possible 'disturbances' between Jews and Arabs as the result of this terror, they killed Asher Palmer twice. First, Arabs killed him. But then Israeli police killed him again, blaming him for his own death, due to reckless driving, and being responsible for killing his one year old son, leaving his widow and family to live with this horrible reality for the rest of their lives.

Of course, these facts would preclude having to search for 'terrorists.' And would also prevent Asher's widow from receiving financial aid provided by the State to terror victims' families.

Such lies, on the part of Israeli security forces, must be uncovered and dealt with to the fullest. It is unthinkable that Israeli security forces would lie about a terror attack in order to prevent 'Jewish responses.' Additionally, a Jew cannot be blamed for crimes that he did not commit. Blame where blame lies: with murderous Arab terrorists.

Asher and Yonatan Palmer will be buried tonight, Sunday, Sept. 25, in Hebron. The funeral procession will leave the Palmer home in Kiryat Arba at 18:00. May their memories be blessed and may HaShem Yinkom Damam.

Recently Sent from Honenu

Israeli Jewish "Hilltop" youth with tzitzit flying chased away "Palestinian" Arab arsonists and stone throwers from their village in the Shomron. They waited for the Israeli soldiers to show up, but they never did. The Israeli youth had no choice other than to defend their homes, families and property. Unfortunately today, many are losing faith in the police, army and judicial system to defend Jewish rights. Several months ago, Maariv reporter Kalman Liebskind was violently confronted by Arab thugs. Writing from his own personal experience he advised victims never to call the police. He said the police were basically ineffective.

Yesterday, a baby's face was injured by Arab stone throwers.

Two days ago, Jews in Hebron witnessed Arab rioting and stone throwing with "little army interference", stated Hebron spokesman David Wilder. See videos. Last Friday night, a Jewish family was attacked by Arab stone throwers while border police stood by and did not intervene. Our website has many stories of Jews who defend themselves only to be arrested by our very own police while often the Arabs are not even interrogated.

Due to the worsening security situation in Israel, many Jews are finding themselves needing legal help against what they sense is a pro-Arab police force and judicial system.

Many times Israeli Jews find themselves arrested and no where to turn. The cases are growing. Approximately 1000 arrestees a year rely on Honenu's legal team of lawyers.

We need your financial support to help them.

There is hope however.  Please read about the new Chareidi IDF recruits in the Flatbush Jewish Journal. page 82. I understand the Police as well will be getting new recruits from the Chareidi sector.  It is time that justice is served to the settlers and Honenu.org will be a thing of the past because the Police will do their jobs properly.  Robin

Fwd: The PLO-Axis of Evil: Part II message to Netanyahu and Agudah.... Don't pander to UN or US

bs"d

Dear PM Netanyahu and Agudah, OU, YI, CHabad, Forward Yated, Hamodia and all of the members of religious Organizations and Media in Conference of Presidents, amv"sh

Full transcript of Netanyahu speech at UN General Assembly

Netanyahu says:

"I extend my hand to the Palestinian people, with whom we seek a just and lasting peace."...

Israel is prepared to make painful compromises. We believe that the Palestinians should be neither the citizens of Israel nor its subjects. They should live in a free state of their own. But they should be ready, like us, for compromise. And we will know that they're ready for compromise and for peace when they start taking Israel's security requirements seriously and when they stop denying our historical connection to our ancient homeland...

I believe that in serious peace negotiations, these needs and concerns can be properly addressed, but they will not be addressed without negotiations. "

This is where Netanyahu and Obama err because these security needs and concerns can not be properly addressed with Negotiations.

Netanyahu does not really know his enemy nor his Jewish Heritage.

Fact: His gestures in the name of peace have been cruel to the settlers in Migron and all of the settlers of Judea and Samaria.

See halachic discussion of being Compassionate to the Cruel relevant to the modern day conflict with the Palestinians.

If that won't convince you maybe some War Strategy from the Chinese will.

From "Art of War"  Know your enemy.

Quotations

Verses from the book occur in modern daily Chinese idioms and phrases, such as the last verse of Chapter 3:

So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

After reading this nauseating description of the PLO sent by Paul Eidelberg as printed in Yediot Achronot June 18, 1982 as reported in 1976 during Lebanon civil war, it becomes very clear why the Torah demands that Am Yisroel deal with  our enemies who align with Fatah or Hamas without compassion. There is nothing in the Torah that suggestions compromise and negotiation with the likes of Amalek.  As it says in Parshat Vayelech, the Parsha we read today in shul, Perek 31 Pasuk 5 "and you shall do to them according to the entire commandment that I commanded you 6. Be strong and courageous  do not be afraid and do not be broken before them for Hashem your G-d, - it is He who goes before you, He will not release you nor will he forsake you" (translation the Stone Chumash)

Commentary Pasuk 5 And you shall do to them- i.e. destroy their idols and monuments (ibn Ezra), as Moshe had commanded them many times

Devarim - Deuteronomy - Chapter 12

1. These are the statutes and ordinances that you shall keep to perform in the land which the Lord God of your fathers gives you to possess all the days that you live on the earth.   א.
2. You shall utterly destroy from all the places where the nations, that you shall possess, worshipped their gods, upon the lofty mountains and upon the hills, and under every lush tree.   ב.
3. And you shall tear down their altars, smash their monuments, burn their asherim with fire, cut down the graven images of their gods, and destroy their name from that place.   ג.
4. You shall not do so to the Lord, your God.   ד. לֹא תַעֲשׂוּן כֵּן לַי־הֹוָ־ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶם:

By following the Torah's laws and fighting the PLO without being merciful as the Torah prescribes we need to remind ourselves it is not for Israel's sake alone.  We do it for humanity.

The PLO-UN Axis of Evil: Part II

Prof. Paul Eidelberg

The PLO in Lebanon

When the Palestine Liberation Organization entered Lebanon in 1970 (after having been expelled from Jordan), they tipped the power-sharing arrangement between Christians, Muslims, and Druze in favor of the Muslims. The PLO was therefore a major cause of the civil war that followed. The war lasted from 1975 to 1990 and resulted in more than 100,000 civilian fatalities. British journalist Patrick Sills of the London Observer filed a report on the war. To dramatize the world's reaction to this fratricidal war, my friend Eliyahu Amiqam of blessed memory decided to publish a running commentary on Sill's report:*

[Sill writes]: "In the corners of the streets of Beirut, small children exhibit bottles which contain human ears dunked in acid, like pickles or artichokes in vinegar. Bodies are lying in the streets immersed in their coagulated blood, some lacking their procreative organs, which were cut off and put in acid for exhibition by children…."

This report [Amiqam remarks] was printed not in June 1982, during Israel's Operation Peace for Galilee [to stop the PLO from bombing Jewish towns]. [Sill's report] was printed on January 25, 1976, during the Civil War in Lebanon. We read further: "The number of those killed and wounded, and worse than anything, the kidnapped whose fate was usually horrible and awesome, [had already] reached about 40,000, with both sides [Muslim and Christian Arabs] competing between themselves for the most ferocious actions. Complete villages were pillaged, set on fire, and all their populations eliminated. The Palestinian terrorists were the most extreme and cruelly vicious of all...."

[Now Amiqam asks:] What did the world say at that time to this frightening situation? Nothing. What did Pope Paul VI say when nuns were raped in front of their parents and brothers and afterwards had their elbows cut? His holiness did not say anything. He was busy at the time protesting against the construction that was going on in Jerusalem. [Shades of Barack Obama, busy protesting against housing construction in eastern Jerusalem while Iran persisted in its nuclear weapons program!]

What did the world do at that time to stop the carnage and the horror in Lebanon? Nothing. But six years later [during Israel's "Operation Peace for Galilee"], the world saw various attempts [by the United States and Western Europe] to allow the [PLO] terrorists to remain in their positions where they had succeeded in destroying Lebanon, slaughtering tens of thousands of its population, while establishing a central base for exporting murder on a worldwide scale [all this with the arms of the Soviet Union, the money of Saudi Arabia, the military cooperation of Syria, and the diplomatic patronage of Egypt].

Amiqam goes on to say: "Until then everything was just fine in Lebanon. The disaster started only after the Jewish army [of Israel] entered Lebanon and began its 'genocide' and its 'final solution' to the Palestinian problem. Now [all of a sudden] the world showed on TV screens the pictures of war, the killing and destruction, the mothers fleeing with their children in their arms."

The "world" in this context is the one influenced by the mendacious media of the United States and Western Europe, which denigrated Israel and portrayed the Jew as the villain, more monstrous and ugly than any other.

And so it has happened in Gaza. For eight years the PLO-Palestinian Authority, including Hamas, fired some 10,000 rockets into Israeli towns, killing and wounding and traumatizing thousands of Jewish men, women, and children. What did the democratic world do about this brutal violation of human rights? Nothing. What did the United Nations do about this ongoing violation of human rights? Nothing. It was only after Israel launched "Operation Cast Lead" to protect its people that the United Nations suddenly became concerned about human rights. Only after Israel was defeating Hamas in Gaza did the UN become conscious of human rights to the extent of denouncing Israel for violating the rights of Arabs used by Hamas as human shields.

Returning to the PLO in Lebanon, I must point out that the kinsmen of the Muslims mentioned by Sills and Amiqam will be found in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza—the "Palestinians." These are the same Palestinians who have used children as human bombs, yes, the same poor Palestinians for whom Europeans and Americans burn incense and give billions. This Indiscriminate humanitarianism absolves these Palestinians of any responsibility for their miserable condition; it dehumanizes them. Never mind their inhumanity and the inhumanity of those they have elected as their leaders. But if we recall, as previously documented, their wretchedness before, and their prosperity after, Israel gained control of the so-called West Bank, it's fair to say that the billions poured into the coffers of the Palestinians will not humanize them, if only because economics does not trump the implacable ethos of Islam, of which we have only touched the surface.

Having recounted the savagery of the PLO in Lebanon, we must now explore their accomplishments. We first note that it was Fatah, the most professional killers of the PLO, who trained Iran's Revolutionary Guards. The training took place in Lebanon's Bekka Valley in the 1970s. Strange that the PLO, Sunni Muslims, should train Iran's Revolutionary Guards, Shiite Muslims whose most notorious member is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Michael Ledeen rightly ascribes to Ahmadinejad a love of death or necrophilia. This Muslim despot used thousands of Iranian children to walk over and explode mine-fields in the Iran-Iraq War.

This paganism is evident in the PLO-Palestinian Authority which used children as human bombs to kill Jews—a practice more ghastly than the sacrifice of children by the ancient Canaanites. The Palestinians certainly have no cultural immunity to necrophilia—and this alone demonstrates that they do not merit independent statehood, quite apart from the fact that the "Palestinian People" is a fraud: a waxwork Venus de Milo with arms.
