Caroline Glick, You are fantastic and clearly against a Palestinian State but is it for the right reasons?

bs"d

Re:

Caroline Glick article in Jerusalem Post - Netanyahus Grand Coalition

Dear Caroline, amv'sh

You are fantastic.  But, you seem to disregard the Torah our source for our entitlement.

All your points are excellent but they are commentary to the Torah. And the Torah, is not something one should disregard.

When Feiglin's supporters started singing "Anachnu maaminim Uvnei Maaminim. Veayn Lanu Al me Lehishayn, ela ela al Avinu, Avinu Shebashamayim"  (We are believers, the sons of believers, and we have no one to lean upon except our Father in heaven) they are not disregarding the West.  They are recognizing their allegiance primarily to our Crreator.

Belief in G-d and in His salvation is the only way we can fight effectively against our enemies.  Sometimes it means we have no choice but to disregard the powers in the West.  With Obama in the drivers seat, you too will have to come to grips with the overpowering odds against the people of Israel at this time.  It's a war on religion and fundamentalist Islam has an upper hand.  The way to counter that is only with the Torah. Antisemitism gets it's root from anti Shem - when G-d's name is not in the picture.  In addition Cham was destined to be a servant of Shem.  Canaan was the offspring of Cham.  Therefore, even when Erez Canaan was ruled by the Canaanites, in theory  it belonged to Shem since the owner of a slave owns the slaves property as well.

But the Land belongs to G-d.  We are G-d's servants. We demonstrate that by keeping Shemittah.  Will any peace loving Palestinian keep Shemittah.  G-d has decided to whom he wishes to give Eretz Yisroel.  We in turn are the stewards of the land and are obligated to keep the commandments of the Land.  Won't we starve if we don't work the Land in the Shemittah year?

Actually we should be partying all year eating from all the open fields.  We'll gain tons of weight and it shouldn't even cost us.

Do the Rabbi's promote this kind of Sabbatical year. Unfortunately, they too don't have the necessary faith required for putting our full reliance on G-d in heaven for our sustenance.

Call it what you wish but it's the Torah.

Shavua Tov! Robin

Subject: Dov Hikind - Clearly against a Palestinian State but for the wrong reasons
To: do4israel <do4israel@live.com>

bs'd

Tonight Malcolm Hoenlein was on the Dov Hikind Show.

We all know that Dov Hikind is one of the biggest supporters of the people of Yesha.  He personally has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for the people of Yesha before the Chagim.  He was out there in Gush Katif.  He is the voice for Sderot. There has been no politician that I can think of that has done more for Yesha than Dov Hikind.

Yet tonight, after hearing him speak with Malcolm Hoenlein on the Dov Hikind radio program, it was apparent that his focus was that the tragedy of the peace process is that  we do not have a Peace Partner to speak about.  I called in to the radio program with my comment.  I said "Why is our focus on not having a working "peace partner".  Why isn't our focus our Entitlement of Yesha and our Jewish Heritage?  When we focus on simply not have a "working peace partner, we are suggesting that we would be willing to betray our Jewish Heritage and give away our entitlement if indeed the Arabs would show reciprocity.

To this Dov Hikind replied that if indeed the Arabs would show that they were a true peace partner than he would be willing to negotiate.

This in fact has unfortunately been the position of the Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah.  They did not object to the giving away of Sinai or of Gush Katif since they believed it would perhaps bring peace.

This kind of reasoning I believe is the very source of our inability to hold on to our Land.

Where are our principles?  Where is our entitlement, pride, knowledge,  and appreciation of the precious gift that G-d has given to the people of Israel, to our forefathers, to us? Where is our yearning and desire to observe the commandments like Shemittah, Teruma and Maaser etc on the LAND. These commandments are according to the Torah the key to bringing Security?????  Failure to observe these commandments properly results in no security and the danger of being thrown out of the Land.

The Land of Israel is promised exclusively for the Jewish Nation and all those that are willing to accept our Sovereignty and observe the 7 Noahide Laws.  Only this will bring Peace and Prosperity to mankind! The Land will not produce for any other alien people.  The Land has remained loyal to its proper caretaker the Jewish Nation.

Here is an analogy. Trespassers are in ones' basement and wish to take over the house.  Perhaps initially the owner had pity on them.  Perhaps they intimidated him. So he let them stay in his basement. Knowing their full intentions, which house owner would agree to keep them in the basement as long as they agree not to throw him, the owner, out.  Only a homeowner that doesn't really believe that his house truly belongs to him.  One that knows that this house is his will throw these imposters out real quick. Otherwise he's stupid.

This kind of "peace negotiations" clearly show that the Baal Habayis, the Jews aren't convinced of their own entitlement.  It doesn't really matter that they paid almost a million dollars for the Beit Hashalom and with tapes and videos and that the Arab has his life in danger by admitting that he sold it to Jews.  The justice system clearly has no checks and balances so that judges are not approved by the Knesset by by themselves.  These judges have no problem giving away our homes that are ours and that we bought and built because they don't really believe that we are entitled to our homes.  Most probably they have convinced themselves that  the Arabs are right and we indeed are "occupiers".

Why is Dov Hikind praising Malcolm Hoenlein when Malcolm Hoenlein has been supporting these Peace Talks and never once said that OSLO was wrong?  During Annapolis, those of us that wanted to yell were quieted by the calming Malcolm who claimed that nothing of substance was decided.  All the mainstream Jewish groups were silenced as per his leadership. Only AFSI  protested the Annapolis talks.

Yet tonight on Dov Hikind's show, Malcolm Hoenlein himself talked of the dangerous vote to be taking place in the UN, solidifying what was agreed upon in Annapolis.  Isn't it clear that our silence and participation at Annapolis led to this point????

Annapolis made the world a much less safe place. It empowered the Palestinians, the "moderates" who rejoiced when the Mercaz Harav boys were slaughtered.  Annapolis weakened the settlement in Yesha.  Since Annapolis, there is no Jewish expansion in many parts of Yesha, there is freedom of movement among the Palestinians with the removal of important security roadblocks. G-d forbid if Jews venture into some Arab communities w/o protection.  IDF has turned a blind eye to acts of aggression and those that defend themselves in Yesha are thrown into prison with felony charges against them instead of their perpetrators.  Jews are forbidden to live in parts of Yesha and are forbidden to buy houses in parts of Yesha.

Dov Hikind, listen to your wife Shani!  She asked Malcolm about Feiglin and why Netanyahu is afraid of him.

It seems clear to me and I hope that I am not mistaken, that Moshe Feiglin has a fear of G-d and is proud of our Jewish Heritage.  He will speak out as per our entitlement of Yesha as opposed to asking for reciprocity.  That is why Netanyahu, who has betrayed us at the WYE agreements and with Gush Katif is afraid of him.  Not because as Malcolm suggests  this is a radical stance and will alienate the rest of the country but rather because Moshe Feiglin hopefully stands for Authentic Jewish Entitlement of all parts of Israel and he is not afraid to say so.

To even suggest that this is "radical" is a betrayal of our Jewish Heritage and empowering those that are willing to annul our Covenant.

Malcolm Hoenlein is unwilling to renege on Oslo since he feels that we already committed to it but he is willing to renege on our Biblical Covenant with Hashem.

And we wonder why G-d isn't on our side?  Will we rely on the UN or NATO to protect us?

Mike Huckabee Bet El Dinner part 1 YouTube 9.37 minutes part 2 You Tube10.39 minutes Malcolm Hoenlein as well

bs"d

Fantastic Speech by Mike Huckabee.  My best line is when he said that our rights to the Land does not originate with the Balfour Declarations but from the Bible.  A Righteous G-d fearing man.

Malcolm Hoenlein as well,  spoke eloquently and passionately about our rights to Kever Rochel, Maarat Hamachpela, Kotel and Har Habayit.   Unfortunately, history has shown that his words are not consistent  with his political leadership.
Malcolm Hoenlein  YouTube Beit El 12/.5/10

Mr. Hoenlein is seriously constrained
with what he can do politically to match his innermost feelings for our historical and Biblical Rights to Judea and Samaria and Jerusalem.

He is  Executive Vice Chairman of the  American Conference of Presidents of  Major Jewish Organizations. He must walk the tightrope to keep in line with American Foreign Policy and in line with Israeli Gov't foreign policy who desperately want to please America, while trying to unite all the factions in the Conference of Presidents.  As a result,  he has in the past,  in principle endorsed Oslo, the Roadmap, Annapolis and a Two State Solution.  He balances this with insisting that the Arabs have not met their part of the bargain a necessary condition for the talks to succeed.

Now that Obama Administration is resigned to the fact that Israel will not extend the freeze so easily and the Palestinians are not recognizing or acknowledging Israel's right to exist, and given the deligitimazation of Israel at UNESCO, it is safe for him to speak publicly about our historical entitlement to the Land and its Holy sites.

Yet, the mere expression of willingness in the past  to share the Land of Israel sanctified to the Jewish People alone,   via G-d's Covenant with our forefathers,  is a form of our own deligitimization of our entitlement to the Land!  It's like agreeing to share ones wife with one that is willing to live with her "in peace and harmony". That expression of willingness to share her, deligitimizes the sanctity of the marriage.

To quote Malcolm himself  "They want to hear from us", "They want to know where we stand".

Is reciprocity where Torah really stands?

To repeat:    Malcolm is constrained by his job.   Major religious Jewish Organizations and major Jewish religious newspapers are not and should not therefore follow his cue

WHAT THEN TO SAY?  We must encourage Israel to Annex Judea and Samaria or better yet establish a sister Autonomy in Judea and Samaria that is governed by Torah Law rather than purely military law.

We must publicly reject Oslo, the Roadmap, and the 2 State Solution, discourage all funding of American  tax payers money for Non Jewish  construction in Judea and Samaria, Jerusalem and all of Israel as long as they refuse to accept Jewish Sovereignty and they must agree to abide by the 7 Noahide Laws. If we wish to keep Kever Rochel we must also not be afraid to say "VeShavu Banim LIgvulum" , her children will return to their borders.

There are many Arab villages that much prefer Jewish Sovereignty over Palestinian Autonomy.  They know that they will live secure, prosperous, healthy and protected lives under Jewish Sovereignty. The divided Druze  town of Rajar / Ghajar. near Lebanon is the perfect example as MK  Ayoub Kara can attest.

Malcolm Hoenlein and Mort Klein on Obama

bs"d

Thank you Stuart Wax for sending me this link. see below links of Malocolm Hoenlein and Mort Klein expressing their apprehension regarding Obama.

Let me respectfully suggest strongly to Malcolm Hoenlein and Mort Klein that we go straight to the root of our entitlement.

Let us quote from the Chumash the following Pesukim
  • Bereishis/Genesis Chapter 21:9-12
  • 9) Sarah saw the son of Hagar, the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, mocking*. 10) So she said to Abraham, "Drive out this slave woman with her son, for the son of that slave woman shall not inherit with my son, with Isaac!" 11) The matter greatly distressed Abraham regarding his son. 12) So G-d said to Abraham, "Be not distressed over the youth or your slave woman: Whatever Sarah tells you, heed her voice, since through Isaac will offspring be considered yours.
G-d has chosen to give this Land to the seed of Avrohom Yitzchok and Yaakov as an everlasting inheritance. And we, the children of Israel, in turn must keep and observe the commandments of the Torah. One of the spies, Yehoshua's name was changed from Hoshea. Moshe took the "yud" from Sarai whose prophetic vision was greater than her husband's Abraham regarding the matter of who is to inherit the Land.

The fact that the Arabs show or do not show reciprocity or cease or not cease violence is of no major consequence as per who is the rightful inheritor of the Land of Israel.

Har HaZeitim 2010- 2016 -Timeline of Dedication and Love for the Preservation of Har HaZeisim (ICPFF) Founders: Avraham and Menachem Lubinsky

bs"d

Har HaZeitim  There are 150,000 graves buried in Har HaZeitim. 3,000 years of history.

"In a place where there are no men, strive to be a man." Pirkei Avot 2:1

It all  started with Avraham (Abe) Lubinsky..

"Around 5 years ago [in 2010] When I read the Jerusalem Post of the horrific report of the State Controller [Lindenstrauss] and I said 'How can this be?',  I decided that I was going to get involved to bring awareness to all of Klal Yisroel, to bring awareness to the Israeli Government that this can't go on!"

Avrohom Lubinsky is doing precisely just that...He and his brother Menachem Lubinsky have stepped up to the plate!

It is to these remarkable Lubinsky brothers who set the tone of ICPHH,  the International Committee for the Preservation of Har HaZeisim that I dedicate this post.  It has been a work of love and please take some time to read about the restoration of Har Hazeisim going on right now miraculously because of individuals who care and persist. Please include yourself among them by simply reading this post and hearing their reports. In light of the disconnect of Jews to our sacred Biblical homeland going on in the UN and throughout the world, (read what Malcolm Hoenlein has to say) let this campaign for Har HaZeisim give us the confidence and strength to fight for our Sacred Homeland and may we go from Strength to Strength!

This organization is an amazing example of how Am Yisroel can unite and be b'Achdus.

Involvement and support have come from Knesset members and organizations whose leanings span from left to right...  Labor Leader Bougie Herzog, Miri Regev, Danny Ayalon, Jeff Daube - ZOA, Yishai Fleisher, Arieh King-Israel Land Fund,  Barbara Goldstein Hadassah International, Elliot Engel, Jerold Nadler,   Rabbi Pesach Lerner Executive Vice President Emeritus of the National Council of Young Israel, Rabbi Sholom Gold,  Rabbi Moshe Tuvia Lieff Morah d'Asra Agudah Beis Binyamin, Agudath Yisroel of America, the Noveminsker Rav - Rav Perlow- Rosh Moetzet Gedolei Hatorah America and Chief Rabbi Lau etc..

The Lubinsky's have succeeded to unite a broad spectrum of influential factions and leaders both in Eretz Yisroel and in Chutz LeAretz in order to secure, protect and preserve Har HaZeisim.

In this day and age when one listens to the News and becomes easily discouraged or depressed, it is heartwarming to watch or read the transcript of the youtubes below.
One can't help but be moved and inspired to be part of it.

Recent Events:

Har HaZeisim 18 Nissan 5776 (April 26, 2016)
On  Chol Hamoed Pesach 5776  (April 26th) there was an historic day of events on the top of Har Hazeisim. The event was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Sport, headed by Minister Miri Regev, the Jerusalem Development Authority and the International Committee for the Preservation of Har Hazeisim (ICPHH) https://harhazeisim.org/media/video

Also recognition should go to the Government of Israel who as a result of the efforts of the ICPHH has committed to finance the Fence:

Does that mean that the Build the Wall Campaign funds can be diverted to the restoration of MaTzeivos and Visitor center? https://harhazeisim.org/build-the-wall

Arieh King  writes you can quote in my name:

Meeting in Brooklyn, NY Breakfast in the home of Rabbi Moshe Tuvia Lieff

Menachem Lubinsky: Transcript draft

You should take a tour of Har Hazeisim and start with Neviim and go all the past the modern day Rabbanim, The Chevra Kadisha says that there are 15,000 British Citizens buried on Har HaZeisim, there are almost 20,000 Americans buried on Har haZeisim...from every country, from every stream from every background. The Gov't... and  Malcolm Hoenlein sitting here....and he has played a huge role in the development of Har HaZeisim, huge... and the Israeli cabinet, just a few weeks ago, adopted a five year plan, to secure Eastern Yerushalyim and Har HaZeisim.  4,000 new policemen will be hired for Yerushalayim and 1500 will be just for East Jerusalem and Har HaZeisim. So if you ever go to a breakfast and want to know what was accomplished, [and say] I was there last year, Wow Rabbosai... who can have imagined that when my brother had started the organization, and people said you're nuts, nothing will happen there, it's just a bad neighborhood, nothing is going to change.....

[introducing Malcolm Hoenlein]
One of the founding pillar of the ICPHH (International Committee of the Preservation of Har HaZeisim) Malcolm Hoenein:

Malcolm Hoenlein:

I don't know how many of you know that when you mention the name Lubinsky in the halls of the Israeli Gov't today, everybody starts shaking.  They made possible what for now, almost fifty years was deemed nearly impossible. Next year marks the 50th Anniversary of the Unification of Yerushalayim...and to think that it took all these decades for someone to emerge a pair of brothers, together with friends, that has changed the future course of history in Yerushalayim... because the loss of Har HaZeitim is the loss of Yerushalayim...it is the way to divide Yerushalayim... it is a way to assure that the future will be put in doubt at the very least. Some of you will remember that a couple of years ago,  when I spoke to you,[see interview below in 2012] I said, there is plot underway, that there are things being done now, while we sit and wait on the sidelines, our enemies are plotting all the time and have a clear design. It reminded me of what I think Reb Yaakov zt"l had said, "Shebechol Dor VeDor"... you mean there isn't one generation that didn't have it?  Every generation? He said the answer is in the next paragraph in the Hagaddah, "Tzeh Ulemad", we read that Lavan "Bikesh Laakor es HaKol"  he said that in the generation that Yaakov while was building up his family, his flock, he had problems but he thought things were ok, but all the time Lavan was plotting against him.

For the last 4 decades,  5 decades, people thought we couldn't get to Har HaZeitim.  But how much worse could it be?  And in fact all this time there was a plot being planned and enacted.  and we saw it in fruition in the last few weeks, in the vote of UNESCO, United Nations Education Social [blah blah....], and they voted after a process of almost 2 years, and we tried to warn about it and warn about it and nobody wanted to listen to it and nobody wanted to heed the warnings when they started with the meetings of ISESCO in Amman Jordon a couple of  years ago, 42 countries  with UNESCO where they started with the Kotel being Al Buraq's Wall named after Mohammad's horse who ascended one after the other after him...he never visited Israel in his lifetime but supposedly he went up from his death from Har HaBayit and his horse followed him, and Kever Rachel was really the mosque named after the driver of Mohammad  [ Bilal bin Rabah mosque] , and the Maarat HaMachpela is only a Mosque.  And people dismissed it.  And what I called it to the attention even of leaders in Israel and here... people said, what could it mean, it's a joke...How can you rewrite?  How can you eliminate 3,000 years of history? In every Arab Document, in every League of Nations every official document KUtav Rachel is only described as Kever Rochel, "Kutav Rachel. The Kotel, was always called the Wailing Wall or the Western Wall. never Al Buraq's wall. Har HaBayit is now what was never called Omar El Sharif except in limited documents in more recent years  by the Arabs... so after that, they brought it to a meeting in Berlin.  And they adopted a formula where the names would be hyphenated.  So the Kotel is The Kotel-Al Buraq's wall, Kever Rachel is Kutav Rachel - Mohammad's driver, And then in an action last month, 57 countries participated in a vote, that now removed the Jewish names altogether.  And so the Kotel is only Al Buraq wall, Al Buraq Plaza, [Temple Mount is Al-Aqsa Mosque or] Al-Haram Al Sharif,  Kutav Rachel no longer exists, they have erased all of Jewish history... by the way it's true for the Goyim too who hold it's sacred... 57 countries including France, Russia, India voted for this resolution... United States obviously opposed it.  And you think about what's the intent?   With all that's going on in the Middle East, with all the disruption, the volcano of the Arab countries, the collapse of borders and  governments.. why would they focus on this?  Because they know if they take away our past, they take away our future.  That if they erase all our connections, then what right do we have to be there today or to be there in the future? They have erased all of Jewish history but also the Jewish connection.

Last week I was in the cemetery of Warsaw and in the cemetery behind the Ramah Shul in Krakow.  And you see how they fixed up the cemetery in Warsaw which is huge... and many Gedoilim, many Rebbes are buried there.  in addition to tens of thousands of others...and it used to be that you could hardly walk in. and yet that cemetery as been completely restored now.  Many Matzeivos are not in the right places because nobody knows where they belong... and you think about the fact that all of this was invested to clean up this cemetery... as important as it is, and yet the most important National Cemetery of the Jewish people can be neglected?... could be allowed to deteriorate to the conditions that we saw there not long ago and some of which still remains and there is still much work to be done.  Last week we saved the cemetery in Golipoli. Nobody knows where Golipily it is, even in Golipily they don't know where it is.  But there is a Jewish cemetery with a thousand graves that was going to be destroyed, and Erdogen, the President of Turkey with whom I happened to meet 10 minutes after I got the call, just by chance from Asra Kadisha  about the problem in this cemetery, and just basherte, just 10 minutes later I was meeting with the President of Turkey...and I raised it with him and in a minute he got the Governer  of Golipily on the phone and it turns out it was the wrong cemetery, the governor thought it was the wrong cemetery,  and we got a word Friday that we saved the Cemetery... so we are able to save cemeteries around the world... but the most important one... the one that is a symbol to the whole world... and its desecration is a message to the world...

You know in this weeks' Parsha, we talk a lot about VeAhavta Lereyacha... and what is a greater expression of VeAhavta LeRayacha if not taking care of those of the dead, to take care of the Kevoros, to make sure that they are afforded the dignity that they are entitled to. We have lost a lot of time over these five decades. But Thank G-d, because of the work of this Committee, because of the Committee...now Ministers talk about it... the government talks about it... they've committed money towards it. There are soldiers up there..., there are policemen up there, there is many more [things] that will be done... and we had to embarrass them into it... including the representatives of the frum parties, many of them told me that they haven't visited their grandparent's Kevarim maybe in 20 years... in 30 years. Even Bibi's grandparents are buried there... and people did not go...and you can't be maasik [comprehend], what was it, how can it be possible that they allowed this situation to go on for so long? So maybe it was like Avraham Avinu who had to circle for 3 days before HaKadosh Baruch Hu would show him Har HaMoriah... to build up the anticipation... to get him to appreciate it... to make him be able to see what he might have not been able to see... Maybe we had to wait in order for us to appreciate the Kedusha, the importance, the significance of Har HaZeitim...and many more people are coming to realize, that this is the true Chesed Shel Emes...that this is the true responsibility that all of us have there, and in every other cemetery for that matter...and the fact that Har HaZeitim occupies the highest geopolitical position that it does...  Do you know that it is the highest mountain in the region, it is 90 meters higher than Har HaBayit, than Har HaMoriah?  It is of significance far beyond just its physical location...we all know the Kedusha that is there...we all know of the Neviim who are buried there...we know of the future role as well as the past role that HarHaZeisim played in our history...and now is the chance of our generation to come and to rise to the occasion... to meet our responsibility.  All of Jewish History will know if we failed or if we succeeded.  Our children and grandchildren and their grandchildren will benefit from it or pay the price for it.   [thanks Donors..]

Menachem Lubinsky

We have given the Israeli Govennment confidence that we can take back East Yerushalyim.  We have shown them that it can be can be done. We need not surrender Yerushalayim and say that it is a fact of life and we can't do anything about it.

 Rabbi Moshe Tuvia Lieff,

(Compare what happened when the British bulldozed bodies of the Kedoshi, victims of the Holocaust into mass graves because of the threat of Typhus with  what the Arabs did Yemach Shemam on Har HaZeysim under the Jordanians.)

...They took Bulldozers and instead of burying our Kedoshim our Tzadikim our Rishonim our Acharonim  our Neviim, they disinterred them,  whole bodies, limbs,  skulls, 65,000 and tossed them around like dirt and  they didn't just build the Intercontinental Hotel and pave latrines with tombstones with monuments, matzeivos , Halba Tzara, [bad enough], the bodies themselves,  the Kedoshim themselves, the Tzadikim  themselves they made into donkey racing tracks. They built villages themselves to the right and left of Har HaZeisim itself, all those Arab villages are built on top of Kevarim. The Navie Zechariah says this very succinctly. The Navie Zechariah in Kapital Gimmel 3:7  says as follows, You do yours and I will turn the Omdim into  MeHalchim.  I read this in a Michtav Tanchumim its a beFeirush Pri Tzadik.  He explains that there are two types of  Bruyim, [creatures] Omdim and Mehalchim, a child is called the knee of the father. Why the knee of the father? Why not the heart the eyes the mind...Reb Tzaduk says there are two types of Bruyim. There are Malachim who are Omdim, they fulfill their mandate and they stay at their level. Then there are Mehalchim, human beings.  they are alive and well. They strive, they grow, the climb they accomplish. When a person dies, he can be a Tzadik, a Rebbe...but he turns automatically from a Mehalchim to an Omdim. He is very close to the Kisei HaKavod but he can't go any further. he can't ascend, he is frozen in place. eternally. He is like a Malach,l an anges.  When we learn  Zechariah, you are bringing him back alive and he is ascending to get closer to the Kisei HaKaov.  The knee is the part of the body which makes you ambulatory.  Imagine what it means to safeguard the Makom of these Tzadikim. from further disinterment, from further Bizayon like Rav Aaron Shechter said to me two years ago, that not only do the Goyim want to step on us, they want to step on our graves and trample our dignity. That is  not what they are trying to do but what they are actually doing. There are Arabs who spend 1,000 Shekalim for every grave demolished. Take a sledgehammer, smash the headstone, take a picture, they'll give you 1,000 Shekalim. Then there was a Mehapecha, a revolution started by two brothers [the Lubinsky's]...it was not their business but it became their business, I have a vested interest, my father zt"l was nifter 19 years ago and he is buried on Har HaZaisim.  together with his father and his mother and my mother's father she should be well and healthy, her mother, every uncle and aunt...My uncle Rabbi Rottenber I have gone 19 years to the Kever...and in 19 years the Matzav, the situation is the same. we go daven vasikin. The bottom line is that they have made a Mehapecha.  [a revolution]  They are doing 2 very important things. Rav Aaron Kahn came up with a very simple idea that we should contact descendents from all over the world, even if they are not so connected to Yiddishkeit, and show them pictures of the Kever and say we are restoring it.  No. 1 Safety in numbers. Generating support from all over the world that Har HaZeisim is a Makom of Kedusha and people should visit.  a Beis Haknesses to daven Mincha or Maariv.  Guided tours to the Keverim of the Gedoilim. Now you might be offended with what I'm about to say. The Kosel is not limited to Chareidim. The greatest Simcha I get is to see Sephardishe fellows maybe not as connected to Yiddishkeit as they could dancing Dovid Melech Yisroel Chai VeKayom at a Bar Mitzvah at the Kosel. to have so many Yidden going...that is the first thing. Nothing wrong with having more and more Yidden coming to Har HaZeisim to reexplore their roots like they come to the Kosel , if thousands and tens of thousands of people would come, it would automatically change the landscape.  And a practical thing is building a wall  to safeguard the Gerer Chelka and other places, they have even desecrated the Kevarim of soldiers,  there isn't anyone in EY that isn't concerned.  but the politicians and the chief Rabbi who was here 2 years ago told me personally that they are mortified and embarrassed that Yiden in Flatbush have to get together on Bedford and O to discuss Har HaZeisim to turn it into a front burner issue.  but  withi permission of the Novaminsker Rebbe Shlita,  Rosh Agudas Yisroel,  he has been so involved in this, he has come to speak to us, he has been Mechazek us from day one in this inyan, topic.  He realizes that this is a cause to champion.  You saw the film that it wasn't only the chareidishe members of Knesset that are jumping on the bandwagon, even the Labor movement, all types of individuals, whether because of the Lubinsky's or Reb Malcolm or Gedolei Yisroel who are at the forefront, this is a Mitzvah. it's mistama a Chiyuv, it is probably an obligation,  and if you learn the Navi Zecharia,   וְנָתַתִּי לְךָ מַהְלְכִים בֵּין הָעֹמְדִים הָאֵלֶּה you start to get a sense of what we are doing. Hakadosh Baruch Hu Yitzliach Darkeinu, grant us success,  that we should be zocheh Siata Dishmaha, merit heavenly support, to increase Kevod Shamayim honor to our G-d in Heaven, and I thank personally the Rabbanim Gaonim that participated, Achai VeRaiai, and the Ribono Shel Olam will see that if we take Talmidei Chachamim who are no longer with us seriously, we will take the Talmidei Chachamim who are still with us even more seriously, that the Ribono Shel Olam will continue to be mechazek us [strengthen us] Torah, Avodah and Mitzvoth....

Menachem Lubinsky then spoke and  said that of the 23,000 grave markers,  that need to be put there we know exactly where they are lying and we can put a Matzeiva, a gravestone with their name. Most died 1480 to 1850 and their graves were destroyed under the Jordanians.   We have to do this job since their names alone can't link us to their descendant families. He said that the gov't restored 20,000 kevarim but they didn't have names. This is different.  Every shul should adopt a matzeiva.  It costs $2,000  per Matzeiva.  This would change the whole complexion of Har Hazeisim, since you wouldn't see this Churva, destruction when you come from the road and would give us a sense of confidence.

The Noveminsker Rav - Rav Perlow

This is a sacred effort to preserve to save Har HaZeisim, our most precious commodity... Har haMishcha as the Mishne calls it, Mishcha means oil, comes from the word Meshicha pouring oil, and the Har HaZeisim produced the oil that was used to consecrate Devarim shebikdusha, sacred objects. It is an achrayus, obligation,  for us to preserve and  to keep. We have to be Mekayim, fulfill,  Hashavas Aveida, returning a lost object  to Klal Yisroel, the Assembly of Israel. Klal Yisroel's relationship to Har HaZeisim poses an obligation on each individual to do what they could that those buried have proper Kavod, respect.  It is also a matter of  Kevod Shamayim, honor to our G-d in heaven. This Makom Kadosh, outside of Har haBayit, Temple Mount, involves so many Halachos, laws such as Hilchos Para Aduma, the laws of the Red Heifer. There is so many Halachos that are involved, with Har haZeisim and its position towards the Kodshei Kadoshim, the Holy of Holies. This should make us extremely sensitive to the need  to remove this shame. The Lubinsky family has the particular zechus, merit to have raised awareness for us to feel responsible do something  to restore Kavod, honor.  I call it Hashavas Eveida, returning a lost object. Klal Yisroel is a lost sheep. May we be zocheh, merit,  to bring back the Shechina, G-d's presence,  and may the oil flow again, the Shemen HaMishcha, the annointing oil that is holy and may we be zoche, merit, to complete the task of restoring honor and respect to this Holy Place.

Prior to the Brooklyn breakfast, Menachem Lubinsky was interviewed on JMINTHE AM by Nachum Segal. Here is an Audio and partial transcript of this interview:

The reason that this meeting has been called is because we have gotten to a certain point where Har HaZesim right now needs to be secured finally.  What has happened now is that the Israeli Government has done an enormous amount in terms of security, in putting up surveillance cameras, even having a police substation, but for whatever reason destruction of graves continues, people continue to be stoned and access roads to Har haZeisim. More and more it has come apparent that with Arab expansion, they have built almost 50,000 illegal units from Ramallah almost up to Yerushalyim, it comes apparent that Har HaZeisim is sort of the strategic area that is preventing the Arabs from creating a choke-hold on Yerushalayim, but not to speak of the fact that there is 150,000 Jews buried there.  It is probably the only place where you can walk through 3,000 years of history from the Neviim all the way up to the history of Modern Israel. Menachem Begin is buried there...but the point of the matter is that the Knesset will be holding a special tour of Har haZeisim  and session on  of Har haZeitim, on the 15th of June. We feel that this is the time for Neila, to lock up the issue about the security, to demonstrate  forcefully the position of Sovereignty over Jerusalem and to prevent what the Jordanians did to Har haZeisim,   the desecration of 60,000 graves between 1948 and 1967...probably the largest mass destruction of graves in the history of the world,  Mind you the Nazi's only destroyed 12,000 graves and they marched through Europe in 6 years and that was only so that they can make way for their tanks....

Rabbi Lieff is holding the meeting because he feels it is Shaas Kosher, this is the time to close the deal so to say...

...When I go to Israel and I speak to the Knesset Members... there is no opposition with the exception of the Arabs. Whomever you talk to, if you speak to Bougie Herzog on the left or all the way on the right, everyone agrees, this has to be done for some reason all they keep saying is Menachem, Avraham (he's my brother)  keep up the pressure on us because this has to be done.  Why this fell upon two brothers from Brooklyn 6,000 miles away for this task...I'm not sure...but I am sure that we must stop the vandalism, we must stop the destruction, we must stop the throwing of garbage on Har HaZeisim, We have to make it secure. Remember that this is a 3,000 year old cemetery that they are still burying people today...

Nachum Segal

Menachem Lubinsky is with us live via telephone.  Participating in the Breakfast Meeting this coming Sunday morning "HarRav Moshe Tuvia Lieff Morah D'Asra of Congregation Agudath Yisroel  Beis Binyamin, Rabbi Dovid Lau, Chief Rabbi of Israel, the Noveminsker Rebbe, Malcolm Hoenlein, the Executive Vice Chairman of the Conference of Presidents there is a website saveharhazeisim.org.

Har HaZeitim 2016 (6:25 minutes) 6 incidences 0 desecrations in April 2016.

Narrator:

Since Biblical Times, men have come to Har HaZeisim, Mount of Olives to honor our ancestors, our Neviim, our Gedoilim. Har HaZeisim is the burial place of the Neviim Zechariah, Malachi, and Chagai and famous.Rabbanim: Ramban, Ben Ish Chai, Avraham Yitzhak Kook and Notables, Shmuel Yosef Agnon Prime Minister Menachem Begin.  But today we find too litter honor and far to much danger and defilement.  In every row,  in every terrace, along every ancient wall, signs of hatred still mar this holy ground and with Hashem's help, we have begun to break back Has-hem's Holy cemetery. We have begun to repair the damage of Arab Occupation. where tens of thousands of graves were destroyed and the bones of our peoples were scattered in the dirt. But today even beneath  the Israeli flag,  they still desecrate, they still hurl stones and peaceful mourners.

Malcolm Hoenlein
"In Jewish Tradition there is no greater Mitzvah than dealing with the needs of those who are not able to deal with them on their own.  The Mitzvah of Mes Mitzvah, of Kavod HaMes of dignity of the Mes doesn't end with the funeral. It begins there."

Narrator:

No vandalism or rocket attacks in months.

See what can be accomplished when Jews around the world unite. ICPHH has arranged tours like Yarchei Kallah, New Chapters of ICPHH in London Amsterdam Jerusalem, NY LA, Toronto. Inspiring gatherings around the world to raise support.

"We are here to continue to work with the Israeli Government, that this change must happen that everyone should be able to visit their loved ones, Roshei Yeshivas and Rebbe's whenever they wish. The Committee has embarked on a mission to restore the graves of 23,000 souls. Our Build the Wall compaign on the Eastern side and  a capital campaign to fund a Visitor Center and Shul.  We are asking everyone to please get involved, to help out the organization, we have a lot of work ahead of us, and we need all of Klal Yisroel to be involved in this Holy Project.

Agudah 89th Dinner January 2012
Featuring Malcolm Hoenlein,  Avraham and Menachem Lubinsky,  Dov Fishoff

Malcolm Hoenlein:
"The issue of Har HaZeitim is a far greater significance than I think most people realize. Not only because of it geographic location and the 100,000 people who are buried there, but it has a symbolism that goes beyond that.  There are attempts now to declare Kever Rochel and Maaras HaMachpela and even the Kotel as Arab Holy Sites and they want to take away Har HaZeisim as well...because they know if you take away our past you take away our future.

Menachem Lubinsky:
It was about a year ago that the State Controller Michel Lindenstrauss issued a report condemning and criticizing the Government of Israel for 43 years of neglect of Har HaZeisim.  He pointed to the violence, he pointed to the absolute abuse of the entire area, the destruction of graves, the inaccessibility of some areas, and that prompted the Jerusalem Post to do an editorial again criticizing the Government for neglecting Har HaZeisim.

Avrohom Lubinsky
"I read the Lindenstrauuse Report in the Jerusalem Post and that did it for me.  I mean the next morning I was on fire and I said it's got to stop.

Menachem Lubinsky:
How is this being allowed to happen? Why are people being stoned when they go up to be Mispallel by a Kever? Why are graves still destroyed. Why is garbage strewn all over?  Why are the Arabs treating t his as this is another neighborhood of theirs?

Avraham Lubinsky:

I myself have been stoned 5 or 6 years ago visiting my parents grave and 2 Arabs were sitting on the wall above and started throwing rocks and stones at me.

Menachem Lubinsky:

He reached out to me and others to say we need to do something about this. We need to raise the consciousness of the world that Har HaZeisim is being neglected. We need to be able to make the case that Har HaZeisim is part of Klal Yisroel. It's not just Eretz Yisroel, it's not just Yerushalyim:

Avraham Lubinsky:

That evening I said  to Rabbi Zwiebel, he happens to be a neighbor of mine, I said, my father was an Agudah starter and Agudah needs to get involved and help me. That's about all I knew from the start.

Malcolm Hoenlein:

I've been involved with Har HaZeisim from the start. I heard many complaints about the inaccessibility, the desecrations of many of the graves there, I approach gov't officials frequently but it wasn't until there was a sustained effort led by Reb Avrahom, that really brought this issue to the fore and enabled us to leverage those contacts and see some real concrete results.

Rabbi Avrahom Lubinsky:

There was money allocated many years ago for this to be taken care of,  and the pressure that we are putting on the gov't at the present has been severe, it has been in the associated press, in every single newspaper all over the world

Menachem Lubinsky:

I know I spoke to many Gedoilim over the years about this project,  I spoke to Reb Aryeh Leib Shteinman, particularly the Gerer Rebbe because 2 of the Gerrer Rebbes are buried in Har haZeisim, there is a deep concern in Ger about what happens on Har HaZeisim....

Avraham Lubinsky:
What we've succeeded in, which is our main goal which is to have a police force on the mountain. There was some closings that we wanted closed.  They are closed throughout the mountain.  There are a total of 160 cameras that have to go up.  We have also succeeded in restoring a lot of the graves and this is where we. stand now.

Menachem Lubinsky:

And the Agudah has become one of the first partners in this effort to try to  correct the problem.  and the Agudah has been very forceful, very helpful, very dedicated to this cause and it is very appropriate that this is the venue for where Har HaZeisim is recognized.

Dov Fishoff active Member of Agudah :

Over the past year Avraham and his brother have made tremendous efforts to preserving Har HaZeisim.  However, the work is by no means done.  THIS IS KLAL YISROEL"S CAUSE AND WE NEED EACH MEMBER OF KLAL YISROEL TO JOIN US IN PRESERVING THE KEDUSHA OF HAR HAZEISIM.

"We need to have laws like we do in 35 States that holds people accountable increases the punishment, even for minors, there must be punishment and their parents must be held accountable for the children engaged in these acts...The judgement of Har HaZeisim will not be what others did to us, but what we did or failed to do. And I think that is the critical challenge.  Moshe Rabbeinu told us at the Mitzva of Hakhel, that the greatest challenge against the Jewish people in not an external enemies, war or natural disasters...it's apathy, indifference and ignorance... Those are the 3 challenges that we could not overcome.  We need to educate people about the history, the current reality and what needs to be done so they feel pressure.  We need to educate Members of the Knesset and Elected officials because they don't know.  And everyone we brought here responded immediately. ".

Itzhak Herzog: Head of Labor Party

"With this effort that has commenced in the last few months, and the public awareness and attention, that there should be a clear upgrade of this site, I think it should be a major effort of the government as well as the municipality of Jerusalem, and I can say on behalf of many members of the Knesset of all parties concerned, that we will support it vehemently in the Knesset as a very strong lobby to make sure that what we've seen so far we should not see and we should see a much better kept site of Har HaZeitim!"

Barbara Goldstein Deputy Executive Director of Hadassah Israel

"All of us represents all kinds of organizations that bring groups to Israel. "I am very proud that every Hadassah Mission every group,  visits the Mount of Olives. It's us, each one of us, should make sure that every one of the groups that are coming, every one of the Conventions, every one of the Federations, wherever it is, we make sure to come and visit [Har HaZeitim], "

 Danny Ayalon,  Foreign Minister

"...and we see great interest in the cemeteries, some of which are 3000 years old, we know that there are no people like the Jewish people in understanding of honoring the past and building the future.

Malcolm Hoenlein

I hope that this effort be the beginning and not the end..that we will all live up to the responsibility that all future generations will look back and thank you and praise you for preserving their past and their future.

Regarding: March for Israel & Against Antisemitism! Will Our Message be a G-dly Message or one of Surrender and Appeasement?

Bsd

אל המקום אשר....

Re:https://www.marchforisrael.org/

What will the message be at this rally? Yes it looks like there will be thousands, maybe ten thousands maybe even hundreds of thousands. Hey maybe a million!

Yasher Koach to the Organizers who are attracting massive attendance!

However!!! We must not Chas veSholom take this positive energy of the people and take it nowhere as was the case in Gush Katif in 2005.

Had the expulsion of Gush Katif never happened, we would not have Hamas ruling Gaza today.

I was in Kfar Maimon a month before the expulsion from Gush Katif in 2005. The people in droves, united, streamed towards Gush Katif to stop the expulsion.

There were major efforts to stop the flow of people. Bus drivers were threatened to lose their jobs if they drove the bus. Busses were turned back from all over the country, yet hundreds of thousands showed up anyway!

The plan was for everyone to march into Gaza. No way the government can expel hundreds of thousands of people! Right? Wrong :(

What happened? Our enemies were in cahoots with the leaders the people trusted.

The energies of the people were then diverted to go nowhere. The organizers of the opposition to the expulsion were actually partners with those planning the expulsion!

They basically robbed the people of their good intentions and took all that positive energy and led it nowhere.

The entries and exits of Kfar Maimon were controlled by the army.

The masses assembled within Kfar Maimon on their way to Gush Katif and Kfar Maimon were enclosed within a fence. After a day or so of waiting, the people finally were given marching orders to march. We started marching in an orderly fashion a few times around Kfar Maimon. Then the crowd was told to go home via the parking lot since there was no way to actually leave Kfar Maimon except via a narrow exit and apparently there was no way to get into Gush Katif.

The Gush Katif expulsion happened soon thereafter with minimum opposition, with amazing efficiency and precision all around Tisha Baav time 2005 by the IDF. It was a national trauma to those who were expelled and for those who carried out the expulsion!

I have been blogging about the Conference of Presidents since 2007.

Malcolm Hoenlein the Executive Vice Chairman of the Council of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations betrayed Jonathan Pollard. He helped broker for a 2 State Solution and for Bush's Roadmap Plan. He said Oslo was irreversible and pushed Annapolis peace deal. He disinvited Sarah Palin, Israel's greatest supporter, when Hillary Clinton backed out. He advocated for territorial concessions.

Here are 8 posts since 2007-2013 on my blog Shemittah Rediscovered documenting and warning others of his misguided and compromised leadership. We see today with the Hamas stronghold over Gaza, the terrible consequences of such misguided leadership.

Will we allow him and others with the same failed policies to be our voice?

https://shemittahrediscovered.blogspot.com/search?q=Malcolm+Hoenlein

Once Trump got into power the influence of the Conference of Presidency on the White House dwindled. Ambassador David Friedman, Jason Greenblatt and Jared Kushner replaced Malcolm Hoenlein.

They too used a misguided approach pressuring Israel for concessions of territory in the Euphoric UAE Deal which also pushed for 2 State Solution in return for diplomatic relations and prosperous economic deals between UAE and Israel. But then a Pandemic broke out and Trump didn't get into the White House in spite of his popularity. Probably a stolen election.

Happenstance? G-d Makes Promises and Keeps His Promises. G-d owns the Land. It is G-d's Property. It does not belong to Netanyahu nor to Trump nor Jared Kushner nor anyone to give away, to whomever they so desire, even with the best of intentions.

Now under the Democrats, under Biden and Obama's influence, the Conference of Presidents are once again taking a leadership role among Major Jewish Organizations.

Time to shout over their message and create a new narrative.

Time to distribute orange ribbons to all the protesters with the battle cry From the River to the Sea, Eretz Yisroel Will be Free from Tyranny!!!

Reconquer and Resettle Gush Katif.

We need a Battle Cry for Jewish Sovereignty over Judea and Samaria, Har Habayit and the entire Gaza Strip.

Unfortunately PM Netanyahu and Defense Minister Gallant do not seem to have what it takes to fight this evil. This war was brought about under their watch and with coordination with Shabak and foreign pressures that dangerously compromised and negotiated away Israel's security and persecuted proud Jewish Settlers who dared to Settle and defend their right to Settle our Biblical Heartland.

It is G-d's Promised Land for the Nation of Israel. Any pressure on Israel for territorial concessions has brought catastrophe. This is documented the latest example is October 7, 2023 Hamas Genocide coinciding with Saudi Peace Plan.

Other examples can be found here:
https://shemittahrediscovered.blogspot.com/2023/10/hamas-genocide-coincides-with-saudi.html

This is a War for G-d. We need G-d on our side. We must fight and yearn for G-d's Agenda which is Malchut Shamayim. This means Educating the world of the 7 Noahide Laws for non Jews. Jews need to keep the Commandments of the Torah and keep the Commandments in the Land of Israel. Only this brings Peace and Blessing within Israel and for humanity.

We must yearn for a world filled with Kindness and Truth, Righteousness and Justice.

We want a G-dly World. Non Jews must observe the Noahide Laws or leave Israel. Arab villages should no longer have autonomy and be in charge of their Jihad education.

No more Judenrein territory within Biblical delineated boundaries of Eretz Yisroel!

That must end.

It is a revolution to dare to dream that our Prayers of thousands of generations can actually be actualized!

Torah Sovereignty hasn't been practiced for thousands of years since King David and King Solomon. Yet it is not in the Heavens, it is in our mouths and hearts to do it!

We need only to will because if we will it it is not a dream!

Please don't get the wrong idea.  We have some great Leaders.  The purpose of this email is simply to warn our Jewish Leaders of the fate of the Miraglim when they discouraged the people from entering and settling the Land of Israel and instead were fearful of the inhabitants occupying the Land.  We hope and pray that our Leaders will lead the population in the way of the Torah Roadmap since great is the reward of the leader that leads the people to do right and tragic is the fate of our leaders that do the opposite.

RE: OU MESORA CONFERENCE on KEDUSHAS HA'ARETZ "Issues Pertaining to the Holiness of the Land of Israel"

bs"d

Why can't the OU speak up with clarity against a 2 State Solution. Why speak of Kedushat Haaretz and Mitzvoth Teluyot Baaretz and boundaries and extended boundaries of Eretz Yisroel and other lofty topics without publicly and politically stating the given and obvious that this Land is the Promised Land to our ancestors and to every generation, and in our generation as well.

In order to keep these Mitzvoth of the Torah we need the Land and its G-d given boundaries.

Any talk of a 2 State Solution is a betrayal of our Torah and will only result in disaster as the Gush Katif expulsion has clearly proven.

For the OU Leadership, studying the Mitzvoth Teluyot Baaretz and knowledge of the boundaries and extended boundaries is not relevant to today's politics.  It's simply an academic exercise in learning.  There is no strong yearning to OBSERVE these commandments.  Settling Eretz Yisroel is not on their agenda but settling religious communities throughout America is. If the yearning for Eretz Yisroel was there the OU LEADERSHIP WOULD PROCLAIM our entitlement to all of Eretz Yisroel and would validate the struggle of the settlers in Yehudah and the Shomron who are able to observe these Mitzvoth TODAY if they can stay on the Land.

These lectures are empty words. The OU continues to be part of JCPA in spite of the fact that the JCPA endorsed a 2 State Solution. Settlers including young women and security guards  have been imprisoned and harassed for wanting to settle and protect the settlement within Eretz Yisroel.  They do not make a distinction of where the green line is because as Torah believers,  the boundaries of Eretz Yisroel is not defined by the Green Line.  OU USA is silent. Roadblocks in Judea and Samaria to protect settlers from terrorists are being removed and the OU USA is Silent. (Please google Rivka Meirchik and the Halamish Brothers).Over  9,000 people were brutally displaced from Gush Katif and the OU honors Olmert. AMONA, Silence!

We are sure that some of the speakers of the Conference are wonderful and sincere but the OU Washington office of Foreign Policy will undermine all this Torah Learning.

Unfortunately, these well meaning, learned, respected scholars and lecturers have empowered those that act in a way that clearly misrepresents Authentic Torah Judaism in Washington.  Don't these lecturers realize that now they are the pawns of those that do not have our best interest in mind.  This seminar will delude the general membership to believe that the OU leadership acts to enhance Kedushat Haaretz rather than in opposition to it.  This will neutralize any protest against American Foreign Policy in support of a 2 State Solution.  Our caring Jews have no clue that we Am Yisroel are being betrayed by the OU in Washington DC.

Let these same speakers speak under a more worthy umbrella organization or insist that the OU Washington Office represent them and reflect the Torah position or else they disengage from the OU.

Isn't the purpose of learning Torah in order to OBSERVE Torah?

3. Why I cried at Aipac by Tova Abadi

Another blaring proof that our Leadership has failed to represent Authentic Judaism based on our Torah.  Here the target is AIPAC.

Why I Cried at Aipac

by Tova Abadi

I never expected to exit the ballroom after a speech by Condoleeza Rice and break down in tears. Why did it happen? It was not because of the words by Condoleeza Rice. Clearly, her words and actions are not worth the tears of a Bat Yisrael.

I cried because I had just become a witness to the majority of the 7400 Jews present applauding Rice after hearing that we must have a "Palestinian" State inside of Israel.

The AIPAC leadership did their best to make certain that the invited speakers would receive a hearty and warm reception no matter what words were spoken. This message from AIPAC was emailed to registrants, spoken repeatedly, and even was on a ticker inside the convention center. The speaker could have called for the death and destruction of the Jewish people and the participants were mindlessly prepared to applaud.

Actually, that is what happened. Because AIPAC's guest speakers called for an Arab state inside of our Land which will be a launching pad for terror attacks throughout Israel. This will pose a danger to not only the seven million Jews living in Israel but to Jews and non Jews everywhere in the world. So congratulations AIPAC leaders on "leading" your members to applaud for a terror State which will G-D forbid cost in Jewish blood.

Not to mention that both Rice and Obama stated that there should be no more settlement construction. (In other words, they actually stated that Jews should not continue to build in certain parts of our G-D given Land.)  And yet more applause from AIPAC attendees.

To make it worst, if that it possible, the AIPAC leaders seem extremely proud of this accomplishment and were engaged in a lot of patting on the back and reaping praise for one another.

As the ballroom doors opened and the huge crowd made their way out, my mind wandered to Jews being herded into cattle cars, irrespective of the fact that they were willing to be "good Germans."  Similarly, many AIPAC attendees told me that they are proud, good Americans and Israel is not their country.

And I thought to myself "when will we stop being a stiff necked people?" and follow the will of HASHEM? Where in our Torah is there mention of a "palestinian aka arab" state inside our precious homeland?

So, as I was leaving with my friend Rob Muchnick ( U.S. Director of Manhigut Yehudit- an organization that B"H represents Jewish pride and identity,) I spontaneously burst out crying outside the ballroom of the DC Convention Center.

I wasn't crying for the outside forces that seek to destroy AM Yisrael but for our own Jewish brethren who are blinded by weak and opportunistic Jewish "leadership."

AIPAC's stated mission is to strengthen the US-Israel strategic alliance. Apparently this means supporting those following strategy leading to the destruction of Israel. We need leadership in Israel and the U.S. that have a moral compass and will not fall prey to those who are willing to sacrifice our Jewish values.

Later, I joined an AIPAC delegation and proceeded to Congress, I actually heard an AIPAC group leader argue with a US Senator. The Senator stated that if it were his country and rockets were falling, he would take swift and aggressive action and that there was no partner for a "peace" process.  The representative from this group argued stating that he hoped this "peace" process would continue unabated.

Many AIPAC participants told me that they have to follow whatever the Israeli government says and does, because America, and not Israel is their home. This is true even if the Israeli government is seeking to remove every last vestige of Judaism from our Land seeking a "New Middle East" without religion. How very sad.

Was it worth the tears? I believe it was.

5. New USA/Israel Policy.  Non Jews speaking out for G-d's Covenant with Israel. Herb Zwiebon, AFSI
Let us take our cue from Non Jews who speak up for G-d's Covenant with Israel. Governor Mike Huckabee came out clearly against the 2 State Solution and for Jewish Entitlement.  Why can't the OU Washington Ofice?

Toward A New US/Israel Policy

Herbert Zweibon

A "Resolution regarding Israel from Pro-Israel Christian Leaders" signed by over a thousand Christian leaders and urging a new U.S. policy toward Israel is being submitted to Senator John McCain with a request for a meeting with the candidate. AFSI has been working on this project with Rev. James Hutchens, Chaplain and Brigadier General of the U.S. Army (Ret.) and chairman of the Jerusalem Connection, Richard Hellman of CIPAC (Christians' Israel Public Action Campaign), Rev. James Vineyand, whose Oklahoma City church has 3,500 members and Rev. David Welch, who heads up a group of pastors in the Texas region.

To give an idea of the wide geographic range of supportive churches, among those who have signed on are the pastors of the Bible Baptist Church in Fairbanks Arkansas with 525 members, the Northwest Baptist Church in Toledo, Ohio, with 700 members and the Clays Mill Road Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky with 2,000 members.

The resolution reads:

WHEREAS, Christian Zionism supports the modern State of Israel as a partial fulfillment of God's covenant promise to provide a national homeland for the Jewish people in anticipation of their ultimate redemption when Messiah comes; and

WHEREAS, These God-decreed covenants have an everlasting validity and relevance for the modern State of Israel; and

WHEREAS, The legal validity of the modern State of Israel has been established by international law in the Balfour Declaration of November 1917, and the British Mandate formalized at the League of Nations in July 1922, the United Nations partition resolution of 1947, the official recognition of the State of Israel by the United States in May of 1948 and Israel's admission to the United Nations in 1949; and

WHEREAS, Since its birth as a nation Israel has been under relentless attack by Arabs and Palestinians whose goal is not peace with Israel but its total annihilation; and

WHEREAS, The various peace proposals advanced by the United States, including the administration's "Land for Peace" to be implemented by a "Two-State Solution," have been historically and factually verifiable failures; and

WHEREAS, These failures have been a result of a dysfunctional denial of the stated goals of Palestinian Jihadists and other Iran sponsored terrorist groups such as Hezbollah to destroy Israel, including the continuing efforts to appease Israel's enemies by requiring Israel to give up land for peace; and

WHEREAS, There can be no realistic expectation of regional peace until Palestinian Jihadists are defeated, disarmed and their terrorist infrastructure dismantled; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That the administration's "Road Map to Peace" with its "Land for Peace" and "Two-State Solution" be deemed unworkable and allowed to lapse; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a serious and engaged consideration be given to a new US/Israel policy that would be comprehensive and practical in dealing with the realities on the ground as well as honoring of God's covenant promises to Israel. (e.g. Please see "The Israeli Initiative").

Submitted by Petitioners, coordinated by Jerusalem Connection.

Like a bird that repetitively bangs against a glass window, administrations for the last forty years have stubbornly pursued the same failed and bound-to-fail policy of "retreat-for-peace." For a core constituency to confront a Presidential candidate with a challenge to the folly that is "received wisdom" is a vitally important first step.

 6. Pidyon Shvuim - update on Halamish brothers by Datya Itzhaki

June 19, 2008

Pidion Shvuim Alert:
No. 15

Halamish Brothers Remain in Jail

Dani and Itzik Halamish were jailed on May 20 despite a final plea to
the Supreme Court to grant a stay of sentence while a presidential pardon is
under consideration.
The Supreme Court failed to answer the final appeal by the brothers and
they began their respective sentences of seven months and eight months.
"The implementation of the sentence without allowing enough time for the
president to complete the pardon process harms the standing of the president
of the state," defense attorney Dov Even Or said. "The jailing of the
brothers today despite the consideration of a presidential pardon, a process
which takes six months, makes a mockery of the [court's] decision if the
pardon is accepted."
Dani and Itzik are in the Torani wing of Maasiyahu Prison in Ramle but
prison authorities have refused to authorize the special kosher food that
the brothers eat so that they receive a very restricted diet.
Supporters of the brothers continue to organize demonstrations urging President
Shimon Peres to grant them a pardon. Supporters also hold musical vigils outside
the prison on Saturday nights.
Last week, the prison warden warned Dani that the prison will not tolerate the Saturday night "Melave Malkas." This, despite the fact that Dani had no part in
organizing the demonstration.
Prison authorities have also separated the brothers in different cells, hampering
communication between them.
Dan and Yitzhak Halamish, two members of an Israel Army-sponsored unit
have been abandoned by the military and sentenced to jail for protecting a
Jewish community in Judea and Samaria.
The Halamishs, as part of their reserve military service, were members
of a security response team organized, equipped and trained by the Israeli
Army to help protect their community and surrounding region from Arab
attack. On Feb. 21, 2004, the brothers were summoned by another security
officer, Baruch Feldbaum, to help expel Bedouins who trespassed into the
Jewish community of Sdei Bar and were encamped near a student dormitory.
Bedouin tribes in the area had been deemed responsible for the killing of
several Jews in the area in previous years.
Under the direction of Feldbaum, the Halamish brothers ordered the
Bedouin squatters to leave. The Bedouins refused, and about 20 of them
approached the Jewish security officers with sticks and rocks. Feldbaum shot
toward the ground when the Bedouins continued to move closer.
The response team later said that it shot in self-defense. An army medic
who arrived at the scene determined that nobody was struck by the gunfire,
an assertion disputed by the Bedouins.
At that point, the military abandoned its own security team and allowed
a police investigation. Although police refused to conduct ballistic tests
or even a lineup of suspects, the brothers were convicted of shooting toward
the Bedouins. Dan was sentenced to seven months in prison; Yitzhak, to eight
months.
An Israeli appeals court said ballistic tests or a lineup weren't
necessary. The word of the Bedouins -- who refused to show up to police
headquarters to identify their purported assailants -- was enough.
The court also rejected a recommendation by the probation officer for
community service. The three-judge panel said it wanted the Halamish
brothers to go to jail to serve as a lesson to others.
Since then, at least 1,000 people have either telephoned their outrage
to the Israeli military or signed a petition for the suspension of their
sentences.
Call the Israel Embassy [telephone 202-364-5500] and ask to speak to
the military attache. Express your outrage that the Israel Army abandoned
its fighters for protecting Jews. Don't argue. The military attache's
office knows exactly what you're talking about. Stress that you are an
American citizen whose support for the Israeli military is based on its
protection of Jews. Say that you also plan to discuss this case with your
member of Congress who decides on U.S. military aid to Israel. Ask you
member of congress to convey your message to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who
is meeting with Israeli leaders.
The Olmert government, with an approval rating of near zero, has refused
any accountability to the Israeli people and fears only the Bush
administration. Unless we act now, there will be many more young Jews in
jail. Since Passover, the government has gone a rampage to destroy
synagogues and structures in Jewish communities all over Judea and Samaria.
Call your local synagogue or community center and demand that they cancel
all invitations to government members or military personnel to address your
communities. Stress that they are no longer welcome in American Jewry.

7. Yishuv Itamar needs funds to send kids to camp.

Sent by Mayor of Itamar Rabbi Moshe and his wife Leah Goldsmith. This Yishuv is so worthy of any gift we can give them.  The families and their children love the Land of Israel so so much. My family was privileged to be invited to the Zimerman's one of the families on Itamar , for a Shabbat.  They have an organic farm and their son raised chickens in their basement.    Their living room window face Har Grizim and Har Eival the mountains where the Jewish Nation received the blessings and the curses.  They are a proud bunch that ask no favors other than to live and prosper and work on their Land.  Their Yishuv was infiltrated too many times with too many tragic stories.  Yet their spirit remains strong and their children will inherit the Land beEzrat Hashem.

Dearest friends I have a special request for those interested. Every year Itamar runs a special summer camp program for the children and youth. Unfortunately, the families of Itamar don't have the means to pay the full cost of the program. If we don't get help from out friends we will not be able to provide the summer program for the children. It goes without saying that these children, among them orphans, deserve to have a happy summer like other children their age. Anyone, who could help out by sponsoring a child (250 dollars) or to partly sponsor one (125 dollars) will be doing a tremendous Mitzvah! For those who can't help at this time or have recently helped us Please circulate this e-mail to as many friends as possible. Those who want to find out more about our community send them this link – www.friendsofitamar.org. [total project cost around 15 thousand dollars]
