The rockets have stopped, the effects of trauma have not. A couple of hours ago an incendiary balloon landed on the grounds of the Emunah Day Care Center in Netivot, 7 miles from Sderot. Fortunately, the children and staff had already left and nobody else was around to get hurt. Just another example of the daily reality in the South of Israel and what our children and staff must go through every day. Emunah is there 24/7 picking up the pieces for the residents that live in Sderot. Since 2007 Emunah Sarah Ronson Child and Family Therapy Center in Sderot provides therapeutic services to the residents of Sderot and the vicinity. For more than a decade, this community has been attacked daily by rockets and mortar shells sent into Israel by Hamas, leaving people with only 15 seconds to reach shelter. Over the last few weeks we have seen an unfortunate resurgence of the rocket attacks. Children and families need our services and help more than ever.    Post-traumatic stress from these attacks affects so many. Children wetting beds, mothers paralyze by fear, no longer letting their children to go outside and play, and depression are only a few examples of the reasons why 200 cases of people use our services monthly.
