Could the Middle East Ignite Nakba Day May 15, 2018. In the News: Jerusalem Post, Times of Israel and TIP (Israel Project)

Could the Middle East Ignite? Nakba Day 2018 AFSI Newsletter https://conta.cc/2IQWEKx

 Jerusalem Post: April 11, 2018
An interesting article in today's Jerusalem Post http://www.jpost.com/Opinion/Could-a-mass-march-on-Jerusalem-ignite-the-Middle-East-549537 suggests that the PA is worried that Hamas's "Great March of Return" in Gaza may upstage and eclipse it. Palestinian political movements compete for who can be the most anti-American and anti-Israeli. So it is logical that the PA will stage their own march, only this time from the West Bank into Jerusalem, Hebron, or Bethlehem
With that said, believe it or not, Israel may have been given a gift, as its adversary is clearly signaling in advance what it is planning to do. It is up to Israel to come up with an effective plan to deal with tens of thousands of Palestinians crossing the '49 armistice lines from both Gaza and the West Bank simultaneously.

Daven for Elisha Chaim been Naama Leah and Amiram Ben Nurit Suspects Awaiting Trial for Arson attack in Arab Village Duma killing Father, Mother and baby.

Bsd

Let us Daven and ask other people to daven regarding the fateful court hearing, a pre trial decision scheduled June 11th 2018. A decision will be rendered as per whether forced confession following being tortured, is permissable in a Court of Law and if this case goes to trial.

The prosecution defended the tortured confession as it claims it protected the dignity of the suspects! and that the confession was not made while the torture was actually happening (only when the torturers were walking back and forth according to our sources)

If deemed permissable, this case finally advances to the next stage, a trial.

There have been 15 hearings so far to extend  Elishas Administrative Detention incarceration and his isolation, which in itself can constitute as torture. Or alternatively hopefully, charges against him will be dismissed entirely following two and a half years of incarceration, isolation and torture and he will then be free to deal with what most normal people having underwent such trauma would have to deal with, PTSD.

His name again is Elisha Chaim ben Naama Leah. The other boy, Amiram ben Uliel's name for davening is Amiram ben Nurit.

May Hashem send them a big neis.

He found himself fidgeting once again in his camouflaged, concealed position during the long monotonous wait for the enemy to appear in his sights. Keeping both eyes open, despite the constant fatigue, cold and boredom was the most difficult part of his job at this point.

Suddenly, a man's figure appeared. He slowly and stealthily neared his perimeter. The soldier waiting, knew full well what that meant. The enemy, he was briefed was intent on planting bombs on the perimeter fence or crossing it seeking to kill or kidnap himself and his comrades. The enemy he has learned was merciless, cruel and had to be stopped.
That was his job.

Remembering what his commanding general had told him, he squeezed the trigger and eliminated the threat with one well-placed bullet.
He had done his job well and he was relieved.
In fact, he was happy and he shared his joy and pride with his comrades whose lives he probably saved.

The place was outside Mainzgartern Germany
The date was March 23, 1945
The satisfied sniper was an American GI.
His commander was General Patton who made sure his soldiers understood well, " Don't die for your country, make the enemy son of a bitch die for his"

There was no outcry of indignation or shame when the GI celebrated his kill. In fact, he himself was celebrated by his comrades, family, and countrymen.

Fast forward to 2018.
The place is  the border fence between  Hamas Gaza and Israel
The enemy is just as cruel and just as bent on the killing of every Jew.
The sniper is a Jewish, Israeli soldier.
The scenario is the same
The result is the same.
The relief and satisfaction at eliminating a cruel enemy are the same.

Here is where our comparison screeches to a  halt.

In the US during the war against Nazi terror, the American public was united in their support for their fighting men and women as they risked their lives daily to protect them (an ocean away) from a cruel implacable enemy.

In Israel, there are very loud voices decrying the satisfaction displayed in eliminating one of our would-be murderers on our border.
Calls for an investigation and legal proceedings are shrilly demanded
How can we Jews be so insensitive? Human life is lost and there is a celebration?
Should we not hang our heads in shame?
How can we face an enlightened world?

It has been said before; we are not a normal people. It probably has to do directly with our unique and torturous experience as hounded exiles for two thousand years. The Stockholm syndrome -  sympathy for our enemies, has seeped into the genes of some Jews and this very warped jean is passed on to the next generation.

We have just celebrated the holiday of our national freedom from slavery and are about to remember the Holocaust and celebrate our modern Independence. A heady time of year indeed

Most of us are thankful for the demise of the Egyptians in the Red Sea and sing about it every day in our prayers.
Most of us shed no tears about the destruction of Nazi  Germany after the Holocaust. We rejoice it.
Most of us celebrate Independence day and are grateful for every cruel enemy Arab crazed with murder and rape, that was eliminated and did not live to harm a Jew.

Then there are the handful of very loud defective Jews with the warped gene.
They will not go away but we say loud and clear;

Happy Independence day!

Fwd: Yom Hashoah: Watch Three Generations in Israel Sing Together About Life

This year, Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) falls on Wednesday night April 11 and Thursday, April 12

THEN and NOW.....

 THE PARTISANs' SONG, Europe, 1943

In the darkest days of the Holocaust, Jews maintained hope in their survival and future.
Among the songs they sang was the Yiddish Partisan's song entitled "Zog Nisht Kein Mohl: Never say that you are walking on your final road."

The lyrics of this song were written by Hirsch Glick, a young Jewish inmate of the Vilna Ghetto.

Hirsch was inspired to write the song by news of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising in 1943.

During the War, "Zog Nisht Keyn Mol" was adopted by a number of Jewish partisan groups operating in Eastern Europe.

It became a symbol of resistance against Nazi Germany's persecution of the Jews and the Holocaust.

In the midst of death and destruction, years before the state of Israel became a reality, years before there was any glimmer of hope on the horizon, the Jews sang of survival.......

Lyrics:

Never say that you have reached the very end
Though leaden skies a bitter future may portend
Because the hour which we yearn for will arrive
And our marching step will thunder: We survive!...

CHAI: ISRAEL, 2018

Today, survivors, their children and grandchildren in Israel join to sing about the future of Am Yisrael:

CHAI, we are alive.

We thank Hashem for all the miracles He did and continues to do for us.

We thank Him for our lives and the opportunity to continue to fulfill our historic destiny.

Lyrics:

Listen my brothers, I am still alive

And my two eyes are still raised to the light

Many are my thorns, but also my flowers

And before me are years too numerous to count

I ask and I pray...

It is good that hope was not lost...
