Website: www.zoa.org NEW YORK, November 29, 2017 The Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) has opposed the Trump Administration not going forward, as initially claimed, to close the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) office in Washington, D.C., which ignores continuing Palestinian Authority (PA) violations of the Oslo Accords.These violations require that the PLO office be shuttered.  The PLO office was opened in 2010 during the Obama Administration, according to Haaretz at the time, "as one of several steps [the Obama Administration intended] to take in an effort to entice Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas into direct talks with Israel." In fact, the PA only attended two meetings with the Israelis in the past nine years and has completely refused to negotiate with Israel. However, despite this US concession to the PA having utterly failed to bring about the sought-after results, the PLO office in Washington has remained open. The PLO office was to have been shut down because of continuing PA pro/terror, anti-peace activities, including incitement to hatred and murder of Jews in the PA-controlled media, mosques, schools and youth camps, paying Arabs to murder Jews and seeking delegitimization of Israel and internationalization of the conflict through international organizations.  Secretary of State Rex Tillerson had informed the PLO office earlier this month that it was operating in a manner inconsistent with US law that required its closure if Palestinians seek to have Israelis prosecuted for alleged crimes against Palestinian Arabs, something which it had done in September when PA dictator Mahmoud Abbas called for the International Criminal Court to investigate and prosecute Israelis.  Secretary of State Rex Tillerson had informed the PLO office earlier this month that it was operating in a manner inconsistent with US law that required its closure – so why is it still open? However, the Trump Administration has now said that the PLO Office will remain open for the next 90 days, providing that its activities are limited to actions that support efforts to renew peace talks. State Department spokesman Edgar Vasquez said the US has "advised the PLO Office to limit its activities to those related to achieving a lasting, comprehensive peace between the Israelis and Palestinians" (Jose Olivares, 'U.S. Reverses Its Decision To Close Palestinian Office In D.C.,' National Public Radio, November 25, 2017). Further, the stated limitations on the PLO Office's activities could be lifted after 90 days if the US determines that Israelis and Palestinians are engaged in serious peace talks.  ZOA National President Morton A. Klein said, "This is a disappointing and deeply worrying decision. Not only does the PLO office remain open, but it could have restrictions on its activities lifted within three months. "This is the very opposite of holding the PA accountable. "The ZOA opposed upgrading the diplomatic status of Mahmoud Abbas' PA in 2010 by granting its PLO mission in Washington the status of a 'general delegation.' "We regarded it then, as we do its continuance now, as a reward for continuing PA incitement to hatred and murder against Israel, as well as other pro-terror, anti-peace acts. "This 2010 upgrade to the diplomatic status of the PA also gave its representatives something they did not have before –– diplomatic immunity.  "This upgrade occurred despite the complete absence of PA action to arrest terrorists and end incitement to hatred and murder against Israel in the PA-controlled media, mosques, schools and youth camps. The PA has enjoyed this upgrade now for seven years without doing anything in these areas to even retrospectively justify it.  "And it is now being permitted to continue by the Trump Administration, despite recent PA moves to have Israelis put in the dock in international courts, a move directly and explicitly prohibited under legislation permitting the operation of the PLO office. "This is a serious mistake which will erode US credibility to enforce its own laws and to hold the PA accountable, something President Trump has rightly said must be a feature of US policy going forward. WAS THIS DUE TO PRESSURE FROM NSC's Hostile-to-Israel McMASTER AND BAUMAN?! "We are seriously concerned at the direction the Trump Administration is taking on this matter as well as on their hesitation to fulfill their promise to move the Embassy to Jerusalem. Informed sources tell ZOA that these policy decisions may well be due to the influence of hostile-to-Israel National Security Adviser, General McMaster, and former Obama official who's been hostile-to-Israel Colonel Kris Bauman, one of General McMaster's new appointees, who replaced the pro-Israel advisors that McMaster fired.  "As we described in an Algemeiner opinion piece in August, General McMaster has shown himself to be opposed to key aspects of President Trump's stated policies. In addition to firing or removing many key pro-Israel officials at the National Security Council like Ezra Cohen, Derek Harvey and Adam Lovinger, he has been recorded as referring to Israel as an 'illegitimate,' 'occupying power,' suggested (wrongly as it turned out) that President Trump would recognize Palestinian self-determination during his visit to Israel earlier this year; opposed President Trump being accompanied to the Western Wall by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu; and described Israel's installation of metal detectors at Jerusalem's Temple Mount after Palestinian terrorists smuggled in firearms and murdered two Israeli policemen, as 'just another excuse by the Israelis to repress the Arabs.' "General McMaster brought in as an official Colonel Kris Bauman, who has blamed Israel for Palestinian terror and urged Israel to negotiate with Hamas. Bauman, as we described in a Jerusalem Post opinion piece in February, is working to revive General Jim Allen's defective and dangerous Obama-era plan for Palestinian statehood, with its reliance on foreign forces and an impossible-to-enforce Palestinian demilitarization. "Ignoring PA anti-peace acts and giving it a free pass is entirely consistent with the view that establishing a Palestinian state is the solution and panacea for all existing problems. We hope we are mistaken, but we are concerned at the direction the Administration appears to be taking."

The problem with the courts determination about the 17 homes in Netiv HaAvot (Efrat) is that the same rules used to establish Arab ownership and nullify the governments creation and funding of that neighborhood can be used on homes and land in Tel Aviv as well. In fact, one could apply the courts nullification to land anywhere In Israel, not-with-standing, under the Knesset and Supreme Court as well!
This neighborhood of Efrat was originally approved by the government and funded by State Funds. At that time, obviously there were no title issues. The Supreme Court in allowing Israels land to be given away in Secret agreements has opened the door for any land in Israel to be given away, as the government finds it convenient.  Rambam brings in laws of kings that one of the powers bestowed on a Jewish king is to be "poretz geder". (As is known the gematria of Ufartzta is 770)

Poor Matt Walsh at the Daily Wire tried to follow the logical train of "progressive" thinking and reconcile all the contradictory things you have to believe at once, and ended up with a massive headache. The specific thread: All men are monsters with the potential to commit violent rape and should be feared. However, they can also be women if they say they are, because gender is "fluid" and categories are meaningless. So let's allow men into women's restrooms, showers and dressing rooms. But women aren't allowed to carry guns to protect themselves because only the police should have guns, and they'll protect you. Even though cops are vicious murderers who use their guns to mow down innocent black people en masse. And by the way, black people aren't allowed to have guns for self-defense, either.

This is why I couldn't be a liberal. It requires you to believe at least ten impossible things before breakfast. A word of advice, Matt: don't even try to reconcile the liberal arguments for unrestricted abortion and against the death penalty and animal cruelty. You might suffer a brain embolism.

NFL uproar

The NFL is in an uproar over Republican suggestions that local communities no longer be allowed to use taxfree bond issues to build giant stadiums. On the bright side, the way they've been letting the NFL become synonymous with disrespecting the National Anthem and painting cops as racist killers, they'll soon be able to play on local Pee Wee football fields and have plenty of room in the bleachers for the spectators.

"Pocahontas"-gate

In case you missed it: a recap of "Pocahontas"-gate. Frankly, I agree that it wasn't an appropriate venue for President Trump to bring this up. But the claim that calling Elizabeth Warren "Pocahontas" is a racist slur is ludicrous (besides, the Internet-approved term is "Faux-cahontas.") It might be a racist slur if she actually were a Native-American, but that's highly dubious. She's been accused of claiming to be part Cherokee to advance her academic career at Harvard to the detriment of a real minority applicant, which she denies.

This is another reason why I could never be a liberal. It requires me to get more upset about the politically-incorrect language Trump used than about the alleged injustice he was pointing out. I guess cultural appropriation is like groping interns: it's okay if a "progressive" does it.

Testing the Washington Post's vetting procedures is one thing, but it could have waited. Whether WaPo ran his hoax or not, either way, it threatened to affect the results of an upcoming close election. Enough with the dirty, last-minute tricks on all sides.

Political math arguments

A write-in candidate has joined the Alabama Senate race: retired Marine Col. Lee Busby thinks Democrat Doug Jones would be wrong for Alabama values such as opposing abortion and defending the Constitution, while the allegations against Roy Moore created a "distaste" in his mind. He said, "As a voter, I don't need to get to the bottom of it."

No disrespect intended to a Marine veteran, and he's welcome to vote any way his conscience dictates. But I think he might be undermining his own argument when he says he's running to defend the Constitution, then dismisses Moore's right to due process. Besides, Alabamans are aware that splitting the conservative vote will likely hand the seat to Jones. Any liberal who criticizes me for pointing out the obvious should explain yesterday's story about Susan Sarandon still being viciously attacked by the left for supporting Jill Stein instead of Hillary Clinton. Or Google how many liberal pundits are still whining about Ralph Nader costing Al Gore the presidency. Or note that Gore was VP because Ross Perot twice allowed Bill Clinton to win the White House with less than 50% of the vote. This isn't a moral judgement; I'm just pointing out the math.

Why? Because they are illegal?   Is this the real reason?  

Why is there an unspoken building freeze in Judea and Samaria, the homeland of the Jewish People. Why are these homes illegal?  How can we believe Netanyahu when he talks about building?  Sure.  Let the Settlers build and then take a bulldozer and demolish their home along with the investment not to mention love, sweat and tears.  The Trauma? Maybe Kupat Cholim, social welfare and Tzedaka will help pay for counseling.

The inhumane way that this demolition was enforced is testimony that the issue has nothing to do with illegalities but rather enforcing Judicial tyranny.   When it comes to the homes of terrorists who have murdered Jews than the rule is 1 room for every three murders. Terrorists are treated with kids gloves.

It appears the equation is: 3 Terror Victims = 1 Room.

The Settlers apparently are not deserving of compassion and humanity. That is reserved for the terrorists.

These homes  were built with love of the Land of Israel.  They were demolished with the opposite, with cruelty without giving the owners, peace loving and law abiding, an opportunity to  even disassemble it and save at least partially their investment.  The forces just came and destroyed just everything including the new air conditioner just installed. Pure evil. Who commissioned them? Who paid for them.  May those who are responsible get repaid in return Midah Keneged Midah unless they manage to undo and reverse the damage that they inflicted upon others. 

Time to stop the Judicial Tyranny of the Israel Supreme Court and those who have empowered them.
