Apologies...Maybe Yaalon should apologize to Aish Kodesh (and Hashem) for uprooting 6 year old fruit bearing Olive Trees causing a near lynching instead of to Kerry. Maybe Omni and Gilad Sharon should apologize retroactively for the pain and suffering of the Disengagement.

Op-Ed: What Really Happened at Eish Kodesh

אש קודש - בוגי יעלון הורס כ 20 דונם כרם זיתים באש קודש ב"צו שימוש מפריע"

Seeing is believing Youtube: Boogie Yaalon Destroys 20 Dunam of an Olive Vineyard  (couple hundred olive trees that were about 6 years old and gave fruit) in Aish Kodesh authorized by "Disruptive Use" Order.
"Disruptive use" orders allow the Civil Administration to seize land from Israelis in Judea and Samaria based on complaints from Palestinian Arabs, whether or not there is any evidence that those complaining own the land – or, in fact, that anyone owns the land.

Esh Kodesh Spokesman Reveals Truth Of Kusra Clash

Aron Katzov, spokesman of the Samarian community, tells how Jews were attacked far away from Kusra, IDF destruction led to attack."The army came and uprooted about 20 dunam, a couple hundred olive trees that were about 6 years old and gave fruit," reported Katzov, himself an officer in the IDF reserves. The destruction came despite the fact that "the army and the courts already ruled that it's not Palestinian land."

The reason for the destruction is the "disruptive use order," which Katzov calls a "weird law."

Only in Judea and Samaria "one person, the legal adviser of a part in the army, can decide on any part of land that belongs to Jews, and only Jews, to uproot, even if there's no one else that says it's their land," explains Katzov, adding that they weren't even informed of the decision before the destruction.

Katzov reports that after every destruction emboldened Arabs come to attack Jewish property, bragging on Facebook that the army is giving them the land. Katzov recalls having to defend the fence of his vineyard from one such attack.

Residents of Esh Kodesh have reported previous attacks originating in Kusra, including a mob attack in 2012 in which hundreds of Arab men surrounded the village screaming "slaughter the Jews."

Jerusalem Magistrate Court: Jews detained in Kfar Kusra incident to be released

Honenu reports that, "Unfortunately we are once again witnesses to a case in which the police detain the victims of an assault while the assailants and terrorists walk freely."

Another example of Police and the Police Investigation Unit (biased against Settlers) treating the Settler as the attacker....

Anyone who saw the video clip of the violent detention will now understand that the Police Investigation Unit is protecting policemen, authorizing violence by policemen and abandoning citizens.
Honenu will appeal the decision.

Talking about apologies.....This leads us to the debate whether we should speak disparagingly about Sharon after his death.  Naftali Bennett rebuked Orit Struk for her comments and she needed to issue a "clarification and apology".  After I read that, I concluded that Naftali Bennett doesn't have too many friends and relatives whose homes were bulldozed in 2005 nor facing possible bulldozing in a future expulsion chas veshalom. He just doesn't get it.  David Wilder, Orit Struk, Arlene Kushner, Helen Freedman...we get it. The purpose of MK Orit Struk's comments were not to pain the family of Ariel Sharon. It was obvious to me that they were rather directed to Netanyahu and to Yaalon.  Like Sharon, Netanyahu and Yaalon are perceived as right wingers.  Presently however, what happened in Aish Kodesh and documented many times over in the past as well, show them ultimately responsible for intolerable acts waged on the Settlers of Judea and Samaria. MK's Struk's comments was a warning and wake up call to them.   Sharon's final deeds is  placing a very negative spin on how he will be remembered and the Disengagement is very likely his legacy. Is that what they want for themselves as well?  Her comments were LeToeles (served a useful purpose, a preventive measure for future expulsions and intolerable acts) and not mere Lashon Hara (evil talk).

Bennett: Struk's Comments on Sharon 'Very Serious'

Jewish Home chairman says that fellow MK Struk's comments on Sharon's death "should not have been made."

Economy Minister and Jewish Home chairman Naftali Bennett on Sunday said that remarks by MK Orit Struk of his party about the death of former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon were "very serious".

"Indeed, the comments made by MK Orit Struk are very serious and should not have been made. I clarified the issue in a conversation with her. She issued a clarification and an apology. Let's save the controversies for another day," wrote Bennett on his Facebook page in response to a user who asked, "How much longer will we be waiting for a condemnation of Mrs. Struk's comments?"

In her reaction to Sharon's death, Struk had said, "The truth must be said: Sharon was one of the great builders of the land of Israel, and its greatest destroyer. Someone who knew to defeat terror, and someone who caused all the south of the country to be hit by terror. His great firmness and ability to decide and act enabled him to reach impressive achievements, as well as disastrous processes."

She added, "Alongside our thanks and honor of the great contributions of Sharon to the state of Israel, it is impossible not to also thank G-d, that Sharon was taken from our public lives before he managed to carry out on the residents of Judea, Samaria and the 'Judea Samaria belt' the disaster he conducted on residents of Gush Katif and the Gaza Strip."

Her remarks were met with outrage by many, including MK Karin Elharar (Yesh Atid), who wrote on her Facebook page, "Shame on you Orit Struk. As the State of Israel is mourning the death of a leader, MK Struk saw fit to get even. Her statements about the late Ariel Sharon serious hurt his family's feelings and the feelings of the Israeli public, who lost yesterday one of the most influential people on both its past and future."

Talking about apologies...

Batya Medad writes in her Blog:

" If Omri and Gilad had apologized for Disengagement in the name of their father, if they would have used their wealth and influence for the DP's, the displaced people, those torn from their homes, that would be a different story.  If Omri and Gilad would have admitted that Disengagement had been a terrible, dangerous mistake that we're unfortunately paying for and will pay for a long time more, then I'd feel more charitable and then the amcha would have come in the numbers the family had been expecting."

And finally,  I am waiting for the MOETZES GEDOLEI HATORAH and HESDER YESHIVOT and all Rabbanim whose job is to stand up for Torah, to demand an apology from the Israeli government for uprooting 300 Olive fruit bearing trees.  Clearly a Biblical violation.

Let's all support Zo Artzeinu and send some Rabbinic representatives to Fridays' plantings with Manhigut Yehudit at Aish Kodesh and please be sure to take some nice photo ops.  This will publicize that planting trees in the Land of Israel is a Mitzvath Aseh, a positive Torah commandment  and uprooting fruit bearing trees is a Torah violation, a Mitzvah Lo Taaeh.

  Shame on you, Minister Yaalon!

Forget the sermons.  That would be the best and most truthful Tu Bishvat message ever especially preceding a Shemittah year!

Shmuel Koenig on Current Misconception About the Nature of the Jewish State

bs"d

I want to correct a current misconception about the nature of the Jewish state.

It is fashionable nowadays to say that Israel is a racist state.

Race has nothing to do with having a Jewish state.

Hashem has created the world and given the Land of Israel to the nation that observes Torah. We fulfill the destiny of the Land of Israel by keeping the Torah in that land.

Our rights to Eretz Yisrael are not derived from Theodore Herzl or from a need for security or democracy. Our rights are based on the Torah.

As the famous commentator on the Torah, Rashi states in commenting about the first verse in the Torah.

"IN THE BEGINNING, GOD CREATED THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH" that should someone come and claim that we stole the land, we should reply to them that God created the heaven and the earth and gave the Land of Israel to whom he chose (the children of Israel).

Anyone from any race can join us in observing Torah.

Intolerable Acts in Judea and Samaria

bs"d

Intolerable Acts in Judea and Samaria:

There is a pattern here of picking on the Hilltop youth and portraying them as radical price tag attackers,  sick, twisted, sociopathic, brutish, violent, thugs, judeonatzis, poisonous infections, etc(no lack of descriptive ways to label the settlers)

Actually, these youth were brought up with a deep love of the Land of Israel and the Torah.  Surely these kids are taught the Torah "When you come to Israel plant FRUIT trees"
Leviticus 19:23 ויקרא

The Jewish people are commanded to plant FRUIT trees when entering and returning to the land of Israel. The Torah (Bible) says:

"And I will bless those who bless you" (Genesis 12:3 בְּרֵאשִׁית)Iוַאֲבָרְכָה, מְבָרְכֶיךָ

Planting FRUIT trees in Israel brings a blessing to the People and the Land!  (kudos to recent Manhigut Yehudit newsletter advertising planting trees for Tu BeShvat for Zo Artzeinu)

Surely it must have deeply pained these kids to see the needless destruction of the recent seedlings planted.  The police figure that the religious kids will try to do what they can to protect Torah's honor especially in light of the Chillul Hashem and the uprooting of tree plantings by the Civil Land Administration.

So how do the Settlers and Hilltop youth  respond to this painful reality of  draconian orders of the Civil Administration?  They go on a hike.  They are trusting and naive,  They believe that Hashem (and hopefully the IDF) will protect them from a lynching. They go in a group basically unarmed.  They do not use any weapons to respond to the threat to their lives.  They know from the past that the IDF cannot be counted on to come quickly.  Settlers who in the past have tried to act in self defense when faced with an Arab mob are afraid to shoot back in self defense. They have been charged with all kinds of crimes that are groundless, based on fabricated lies and without evidence and forced to sit in jail. Here is an example of how they are charged, portrayed in leftist posts with no evidence but lots of vicious namecalling.  http://www.richardsilverstein.com/2011/10/25/aish-kodesh-settlers-brutally-attacked-peace-activists-now-accuse-them-of-inciting-serial-jewish-murder/. "Sick, twisted and sociopathic ... right-wing settlers.  These are the ones from Aish Kodesh (ironically named "Holy Fire") who brutally assaulted the 61 year-old A. whom I profiled in a post earlier today, breaking his fingers, ribs and stealing several thousands dollars worth of personal property.  A. has filed a police complaint and demanded they investigate the crimes.  Not that this will matter much regarding the outcome, which is always virtually the same: nothing happens.".  ... In Anatot, settlers, a number of whom were Israeli police and residents, beat the living daylights out of peace activists.  This included broken limbs, sexual assaults and an attempted stabbing.  This week's latest involved a brutal assaulton a 61 year-old Israeli peace activist"

I hope the Aish Kodesh Community prosecutes/ed this guy for slander, libel and defamation of character!

Please read these  posts that are merely a sample of the reality that show a pattern of attacking unarmed youth and then slandering them.  It happened n

  • The Administrative Orders Keep Coming, Democracy Keeps Falling

by Eliezer Ben Avraham (sent to me on Dec 26, 2013)

Boaz Albert has now been in jail over 90 days. It has been almost six months since he received an administrative order barring him from Judea and Samaria. He states proudly that he refuses to follow a draconian order that is given without any proof of a crime. As Boaz sits in prison, the government and the Central Commander, Nitzan Alon, continue to issue administrative orders.

The latest to receive these orders are two right-wing activist teenagers, aged 16 and 17, who are banned from entering Judea and Samaria for six months. If Boaz's case wasn't enough to show how these orders are used improperly, this case makes it clear. The two boys were arrested in Jerusalem about a month ago and were accused of planning a price-tag attack. Police officials claimed that they caught the two in the act and that the boys were carrying spray paint, knives and other weapons. Unfortunately for the police, it seems that the evidence they claimed to have, existed only in their imaginations and a judge released the two boys after a week of interrogations where the boys denied planning any sort of attack. One would assume that is the end of the story. In a normal country either the police can bring charges, which will clearly get dismissed since the court found no evidence to continue to hold the boys, or they can let it go and recognize that there was no crime.

However, here in Israel the police have another option. True it may not really be a reasonable option or a fair option, but never mind that. Here, when the police lose a case in court they can just go to the Central Commander and tell him to sign an order barring the accused from Judea and Samaria. As you may have guessed, that's exactly what the police did. They lost in court, but here in Israel they are fortunate enough that they don't actually have to care what the courts decide and can find other ways of getting what they want.

Now Boaz is much less extreme than many of those supporting him. He recognizes that at times there is a need for such orders. For example, if there is a known threat and a terrorist is about to blow up a bus then it is quite reasonable for the terrorist to be temporarily arrested until enough evidence can be found to convict him in court or at least until the attack has been thwarted. Even then there should be some minimum level of proof required and the accused should be told what attack it is suspected he will commit. However, there is a big difference between a ticking-time bomb and a case where the police were unable to prove guilt and refuse to admit defeat.

I don't know if the two boys plan on following the order or if they plan on sitting in jail like Boaz is, but it doesn't really matter. Either way we must fight on their behalf and fight against the use of administrative orders as a political tool and as a way for police to obtain punishments when they have no proof.

Despite the trauma of a week of harsh interrogations for a crime which never happened nor was ever going to happen, and despite the damper that the order put on the joy of being released without charges, the boys say that "even 1000 administrative orders will not take away our happiness." Further, they told the Hakol Hayehudi new site, "We will continue our activism in areas outside of Judea and Samaria. They are many places that need to be settled and many areas in the Holy Land outside of Judea and Samaria where there are problems between Jews and Arabs."

It is incumbent upon us, every Jew both in Israel and outside to help bring these boys, and Boaz, a little more happiness and stop the Israeli government's improper use of administrative orders.

  • Attorney Slams Media 'Slander' of Abducted Jews

Itamar Ben-Gvir meets with Jews abducted and beaten by Arabs in Samaria; attacks IDF police complicity, media distortion of events.

Once again the Arabs and leftists did an incredible media spin"

"I met four 15- and 16-year-old youths at the police station who are not connected to 'price tag,' nor have they ever been arrested before," reported Ben-Gvir. "They told me their story which fits with the pictures we saw."

"The media is repeating tales that the youths came to carry out 'price tag,' but there isn't even partial evidence for that, and what's more, I've learned that a hammer presented by an Arab interviewed by the media was used by him to beat the youth," revealed the attorney. "Once again the Arabs and leftists did an incredible media spin."

Ben-Gvir exposes that the media misportrayal is widespread.

"I looked at the Facebook pages of settlers who are writers, who are supposed to present the side of the youth, but instead they completely adopted the version of the Arab criminals," said Ben-Gvir.

The IDF is also to blame

Aside from the media, Ben-Gvir holds the IDF responsible for the violent attack.

"According to what the youths told me, they called the IDF to help them, but at the start it didn't interest anyone," relayed Ben-Gvir. "Afterwards only two jeeps came. It's interesting to think what would have happen if they did a test and announced that there's a lynch, even of an Arab terrorist - would the IDF and police send two cars, or would half of the Yasam (SWAT) and border patrol swarm into the area?"

Jewish farmers near Shilo may lose vineyard despite lack of Arab claim to the land. By Maayana Miskin

....The land seizure would be allowed under a "disruptive use order" (tzav shimush mafria). Such orders were termed "draconian" by the Levy Report on Israeli settlement in Judea and Samaria.

"Disruptive use" orders allow the Civil Administration to seize land from Israelis in Judea and Samaria based on complaints from Palestinian Arabs, whether or not there is any evidence that those complaining own the land – or, in fact, that anyone owns the land.
