So the following message from NCJA is very relevant to NYC and what Commissioner Kelly and our brave Police Officers have to know about what "religious" Muslim leaders are saying about Jews, a significant population in NY.
If CAIR had its way, this information would not be included in materials used to educate the Police because of its "provocative" nature and insensitive way it depicts Islam and its "religious" leaders..

The PA Mufti Muhammad Hussein urged Muslims to ensure Islam's destiny by fighting and killing Jews. He said that "Palestine [sic] in its entirety is a revolution," that "continues today," and then quoted from what he decreed is an authoritative statement of the Islamic prophet Mohammed, that while Jews "will hide behind stones or trees," those objects will say to Muslims: "there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him." The Mufti stated that the trees invoked in the statement are like the modern day trees surrounding current Israeli towns and colonies. He explained that fighting and killing Jews will usher in the Muslim "Hour of Resurrection."
"When an Arab Palestinian leader calls upon his people to kill Jews in order to fulfill Islam's religious destiny, all people of good will must stand up and denounce the incitement," said Lori Lowenthal Marcus, NCJA executive committee chair.
NCJA calls on President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the Leadership of the House and Senate and the Chairmen and Ranking Chairmen of the House and Senate Foreign Relations Committee to also condemn this explicit call to murder Jews.
Prime Minister Netanyahu and Israeli President Shimon Peres both called for a criminal investigation into the incident, which was initiated on January 24th. The British Foreign Officer for the Middle East Alistair Burt has joined them in condemning the Grand Mufti's incitement.
The Mufti gave the speech on January 7, 2012, to supporters of Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas who were celebrating the Fatah political movement's 47th anniversary. Abbas appointed Hussein as the Mufti in 2006. The speech was carried on official Palestinian Authority television, and was translated and aired by Palestinian Media Watch http://www.palwatch.org/.
In response to charges that he was advocating a Jewish genocide, the Mufti and the PA Minister of Religious Affairs, Mahmoud al-Habbash, claimed the Mufti was not engaging in current incitement, but merely repeating theological dictates. "But the Mufti's invocation of these 'dictates' as the source of a Muslim religious duty to kill Jews is the dictionary definition of incitement," said Marcus, "he clearly was talking about now, not the past, and not the future, by referring to the trees from the hadith as being the same as those surrounding current Israeli cities and villages," she added.NCJA also exhorts the Secretary General of the United Nations as well as leaders of all human rights organizations, including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International to join in this condemnation. Organizations which profess to care deeply about the rights of people in Israel, such as the World Council of Churches, must not miss this opportunity to demonstrate their concern. All peace-loving and all pro-Israel groups must also make public statements strongly denouncing the Mufti's hateful and irresponsible statement.

I am a housewife with no formal position yet in my own way have tried to make a difference. Many of you are respected in the Jewish community. Atem Nitzavim Hayom. Please take some action. If you are media you must report it. If you are a Rav raise awareness in your shul and to Rabbinical organizations. You know better than I how you can help these Settlers who are fighting for Eretz Yisroel. As Moshe said to Reuvein Gad and Shevet Menasheh will you allow your brothers to fight on their own?

Police Brutally Evict 5 Families from Yissa Beracha Outpost

Police early Thursday morning evicted five families from the new community ("outpost") of Yissa Beracha, a new neighborhood of the town of Mitspe Yericho, located between Jerusalem and the Jordan Valley. Police violently removed the families and beat protesters who had come to demonstrate against the eviction. Nine protesters were injured in the police violence.
The operation, for all practical purposes, constituted a classic "invasion" of the neighborhood, with police sealing off the neighborhood for three hours before the eviction, while others blocked off access roads, preventing protesters from reaching the site, and beating with with clubs and sticks when they tried to reach the site. Police said that three officers were injured, after they fell off a roof they had climbed on in order to remove a resident.
Three of the protesters sustained injuries to the head, and were taken to Hadassah Ein-Kerem Hospital for treatment. Protesters said that one woman was injured when she was run down by a security vehicle; another protester who was hit on the head by police was refused medical treatment, witnesses said, with police preventing doctors from treating him until the evictions and demolition of the structures in the neighborhood were finished. Protesters said that, as has been the case in recent outpost demolitions, police used Arab contractors who gleefully ripped down the structures, cursing and laughing at the Jews while they did their work.
MK Michael Ben-Ari said that "the time has come for the national religious public to understand that the government of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is bad for the Jews. The obsessive and ongoing demolition of Jewish homes has reached the levels of the eviction of Jews from their homes in Gush Katif and northern Samaria. Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak are persecuting residents, evicting children from their homes, and injuring protesters – and afterwards they wonder why there are 'price tag' actions."
Along with the demolition and eviction of five families in the new community of Yissa Beracha, a new neighborhood of the town of Mitspe Yericho, police and border guards also evicted the Slonim family in the Oz Tzion neighborhood of Givat Assaf. Police tore down the building, with police waving guns and rifles at residents during the eviction. Police deny the report

In 2007 Rav Perlow went especially to Eretz Yisroel asking a Sheila regarding division of Yerushalyim and reported at the Agudah Convention that Rav Eliashiv clearly gave a Psak against dividing Jerusalem and we must proclaim it Bechol Hatokef (Agudah Convention 2007, Motzei Shabbos address by Rav Perlow). Are we abiding with his ruling? At the time activists for Eretz Yisroel Hashleim were disappointed that no message was stated against a Palestinian State. (However, that would have been politically incorrect and in opposition to American Foreign Policy of the times which promoted a Palestinian Statehood but still supported a United Jerusalem.)
Odelia Jacobs has documentation that Rabbi Morgenstern in Eretz Yisroel was told the same by Rav Eliashiv regarding our obligation to become activists in this matter.

Yasher Koach to Knesset Member Rav Yisroel Eichler of Yahadut HaTorah who spoke up in his recent visit to Ulpana in Beit El (h) following the destruction of several homes in Migron. Rav Eichler said:
"Here there is cruelty that I would not expect from a malicious non Jewish government and certainly not of Jews. Here there are brutal court rulings against children. One needs to know that the law of Beit El is the same as Tel Aviv. Attacking Torah and attacking a Jewish community is one and the same. The destruction of houses is a detachment of Judaism."

Odelia Jacobs has documentation that Rabbi Morgenstern in Eretz Yisroel was told the same by Rav Eliashiv regarding our obligation to become activists in this matter.
In 2008 I wrote in my blog. I personally spoke to Hadas Rav Eliashiv's secretary and to Rav Efrati. They both said that if a Mishlachat of Chashuva Rabbanim including Rav Perlow, Rav Kamenetsky, Rav Matisyahoo Solomon, Rav Malkiel Kotler would come to Israel with an entourage of other chashuva Rabbanim to ask Rav Eliashiv to speak out for our entitlement of Eretz Yisroel is would be "mashpia". My understanding is that Rav Eliashiv who is bli ayin hara around 97 years old needs to know that his people will back him up. There is no question that all the Rabbanim believe of our entitlement especially Rav Eliashiv. The Novaminsker himself reported that Rav Eliashiv said that giving away Land makes the security situation worse. The Novaminsker himself acknowledged that Gush Katif was a disaster (at Agudah conventions last year). Even Satmar can not disagree of our entitlement because this is Torah. However, all are afraid to state so publicly. Maybe their concern is what if the Nations of the world express a backlash at the very notion of us insisting on our Land just like Pharoh made it worse for the Jews when Moshe Rabbeinu asked Pharoeh to let the Jews go. Moshe Rabbeinu asked Hashem "Lama Hareiosa?" Why did you make it worse after I spoke up. Rav Eliashiv needs to know that each and every Jew wants Eretz Yisroel very badly and only then will we Am Yisroel have the Zechus of keeping Eretz Yisroel.

The Gush Katif disengagement is about to recur -- Netanyahu is about to decimate Migron, a Shomron community with bulldozers; this action is slated for February or March, probably in about 6 weeks.

Do not assume that Netanyahu would "never let that happen"; so far he IS letting it happen, actively, and just to remind you- Netanyahu did vote IN FAVOR OF bulldozing Gush Katif (see youtube link - in the Hebrew above). There is one hopeful sign in an increasing cloud of gloom: the coalition steering committee has just announced it will allow all coalition members to vote their conscience ("chofesh hazbaa" - freedom to vote - in Hebrew).

Hello to all of you,
This note is a request for your help. Our older daughter, Aviela, is living with her family (husband and 6 children) in the community of Migron. This name may be familiar to you because there have been stories in the media about it within the past few months. Migron is in the Shomron and has been an established community since the 1990's - with the help and support of the Israeli government. From its establishment to the present, there has never been a problem between Migron and its several Arab neighboring communities. Within the past year, however, the group called Peace Now has brought suit, claiming that the land is owned by Palestinians. The Supreme Court gave them a deadline date by which they were to submit documentation to prove this alleged ownership. They were unable to do so. There is, however, the remains of an archaeological excavation from some years ago which proves that the land on which Migron stands was Jewish.
Legislation is now being considered in the Knesset which would officially classify Migron as a legal settlement, on similar grounds as others have used to remove their established settlements from the risk of demolition by the government. Please use this link: http://migron.kef.li/ to easily contact the remaining Knesset members whose support is not secure. You can write in English or Hebrew, whichever is most comfortable for you. It takes only a few minutes and there are many families with young children who are depending on help from the rest of us to secure their homes.
