As you can see below I sent a link of this Artutz7 report to Rabbanim and to the local media.  This is another incident to add to the  latest string of settlement bashing occurrences.    I am CCing the Friends of IDF.  I am CCing Hineni.org so they can forward to Reb. Esther Jungreis who recently spoke at a Long Island Dinner of the FIDF (Friends of the IDF). I suspect that this news report of the destruction of  the budding Jewish neighborhood Gal Aryeh outpost and all its sordid details will come as a shock to them as it did to me..  

Three permanent homes, a synagogue and two other structures were destroyed by police bulldozers and Civil Administration workers. During the destruction, the control panel, electrical system and computer of the special security surveillance system installed by the Shomron (Samaria) Regional Council following the murders was also destroyed.  The system had been purchased with funds provided by property taxes collected by the residents and contributed by private donors.

Israel's Defense Ministry provided no funds to assist with the purchase of the system for the community's defense.

Two families and five singles were left homeless in the nighttime raid.

Reading about this recent demolition is especially disturbing to those of us in America who contributed to  the security surveillance system at Itamar. Apparantly it seems as if the  IDF did not appreciate (was not MACHSHIV in Hebrew) this expensive security equipment in Judea and Samaria.  Why did it have to come from only the locals and private donations?  (I suppose we must be grateful that they confiscated the Sifrei Torah's during this operation even though they bashed the Aron Hakodesh and desecrated other holy objects.  Who knows what would have happened to the Sifrei Torah had they not been confiscated ) 

To be responsible directly or indirectly of the destruction of the security surveillance system after what happened in Itamar, is  unforgivable!  This requires an investigation as per who authorized this operation and who supervised it. 

Oh,  I almost forgot to comment on  the destruction of 3  homes and about leaving families and singles homeless in the middle of the night. I suppose we've become accustomed to that kind of story....

 I hope that after reading this material, Friends of the IDF will use their influence to protest the selective way the IDF is protecting Israelis  whereby those living in Judea and Samaria are treated as second class not worthy of being protected or defended.

My comments:

It is very painful to acknowledge the bitter truth that the IDF under the Gov't of Israel is not only not defending Jews in Judea and Samaria but are actually employing Arabs to bash Jewish settlement and destroy their security systems . (I would like to know whether the gov't actually pays these Arabs to accomplish this mission .  Surely this is a waste of money as they can find plenty of Arabs willing and happy to do the work for free)  It is very painful for me to come to this conclusion and publicize but unless we speak up,  we allow this phenomenon to continue.  What choice do we have but to speak up even at the risk of embarrassing Netanyahu and/or the IDF. Surely they must be undergoing some serious pressures from the Obama administration. 

While the IDF does not provide security for Judea and Samaria and actually allows the Arabs to smash Jewish settlement, Rebbetzin Jungreiss speaks at an IDF dinner saying that the Holocaust is happening again.  Rebbetzin, of course we need to support Defense for Eretz Yisroel and support our solders.  In all due respect, why should we give money to the IDF when they are abandoning Judea and Samaria the heartland of Israel? At least let us insist equal protection and defense for Judea and Samaria  as a precondition of our donations to the IDF.  We must never abandon Judea and Samaria because if we do, we abandon all flights coming into Ben Gurion airports and all low lying areas of Tel Aviv.  Which airline would risk flying into Sderot (as Dovid Ha"ivri asked on his facebook page entitled

The Demolition Derby Disease                      On AFSI's recent CHIZUK mission to Israel, Nov. 13-22, we visited Givat Assaf. The community lies right off Route 60, just a short distance north of Yerushalayim.  It can be identified easily because it is covered with banners decrying the orders for its demolition. The community was created over ten years ago in response to the terrorist murder of Assaf Hershkowitz. Tragically, only thirty days later, Assaf's father was killed in another terrorist attack. The community houses 25 families, with one hundred children, all living in trailers, or caravans. Across the road from this poor grouping of temporary homes, one can see the palatial illegal Arab homes sprawling over the countryside from Ramallah. It is truly hard to understand why the Israeli government is so intent on destroying Jewish homes, while illegal Arab homes are allowed to flourish, existing without fences or gates or restrictions of any kind.            We also visited Migron, another Jewish community just a short distance from the PA capital of Ramallah. Here we actually saw the remains of three Jewish homes that were totally destroyed by the Israeli government. The community rallied around the displaced families and quickly found housing, household goods, and clothing for them.              Amona, the site of brutal Israeli police attacks on Jews, where permanent homes had been destroyed, allowing only temporary caravans to remain, is once again threatened by the Israeli bulldozers, as is one of the neighborhoods in nearby Beit-El.           The AFSI Chizuk group is used to these sights, having witnessed many destroyed communities over the years, as well as the total destruction of the 21 Jewish communities of Gush Katif, along with Sanur and Homesh in the Shomron. Our hearts break, and tears fill our eyes, as we see this wanton destruction. What can it possibly mean? Does any reasonable person believe that destroying Jewish caravans on the hilltops can advance the mordant "peace" process? If it's an attempt to destroy the Zionist zeal, there is a total misreading of the spirit and determination of the Jewish pioneers who persist in their belief in the biblical promise of the promised land for the Jewish people.           Arutz Sheva, 11/27/11, reports that Christian tourists from Canada and America visited some threatened Jewish communities and reacted indignantly to the treatment they received at the hands of the IDF.  Alberta, Canada resident Al Dublanko wrote the Prime Minister ....Jews are a chosen people and Israel is a special country, established not by a UN declaration, or Balfour Declaration, or any negotiations, not even by the might of the IDF, but by an ancient promise by G-d….for the complete article visit Christian Tourists Angry at Discrimination at Outpost
