Dear Uriell Heilman of JTA,

Thank you for your response about how you stand by your reporting.

Mr. Heilman, Reporters pick and choose their stories.

10,000 peoples lives were uprooted, their homes destroyed, synagogues, playgrounds, cultural centers in Gush Katif were bulldozed. Today as we speak their pain is still raw.  The wound is festering.  Beit Hashalom is merely another inflicted pain on this festering wound.

A Nazi State that glorifies martyrs iis being slated to take the place of settlers in Judea and Samaria, who love the Land and their communities, the same kind who grew bug free lettuce, tomatoes etc.  and flowers in Gush Katif.

The Mufti of Jerusalem was a partner with Hitler and he is the founding ideological  father of Fatah.

Maybe you should visit Yad Veshem or review the pictures of Palestinians massacring the 3 soldiers. Why don't you report on the rapes and dismemberment of body parts in the massacre of 1929 to the Jewish Community of Hebron when they did nothing to provoke the Arabs and rather befriended them?  Compare their violence to the Jewish Violence.  Compare the hate speeches of their Leaders prior to the Massacre in Hebron  and the speeches of hte Jewish Leaders in Hebron while Beit Hashalom was in the process of being dismantled and the families expelled.

Why is your reporting so one sided?  I stand by my charge that  some of the news from JTA  is Treif reporting and that all authentic Jewish News Sources should choose their Jewish News from sources that reflect our Torah and our Biblical Heritage.

Why are you so blind to see the whole picture. What will  it take to wake you up?  Will the only way you  can relate to the settlers is if  someone comes to  destroy your home, chas vechalila, and you will find yourself forced to swallow your emotions, restrain your feelings so that others will report (or not report on your good behavior) and your ability not to be violent in the face of their "legal rights" to your home.

Of course we would never want you to experience the Arab Violence as did the Jews in the 1929 Massacre.

Arabs have a history of lying for PR and public sympathy.  They  have a history of blood libels and using Jewish compassion as their weapon.  They have a history of barbarity and cruelty. Just go on the PMW website (Itamar Marcus,) and report in JTA what they are saying iin Fatah news and teaching in Fatah schools.  Let your readers know after whom do they name their schools?

I would strongly suspect any reports about acid throwing Jewish settlers.  I have lived and been n the Nationalist  circles and I can attest that the teachers in these circles do not encourage acid throwing against ARabs.  Never, in the many lectures and shiurim have I heard this being preached. Rabbi's do emphasize the Bible which  clearly teaches that the Land of Israel is G-ds gift to the Jewish people and that we in turn are obligated to keep the commandments in the Torah.  Jews also have the obligation to defend our Land and Protect our lives.

I suppose you wish to pick and choose which commandments in your opinion is "civilized" and which is not.  Perhaps, a certain number of the commandments you might find distasteful.

My guess is that  you have serious issues with some commandments of the Torah and since it is not political correct to admit that you have issues with what is written in the Torah since it might offend too many religious Jews who subscribe to your news, so you conveniently target the "fringe right wing fanatics, extremists, etc." and portray  them as extreme fanatics who hate Arabs.

Sincerely, Robin Ticker

From Mattot Arim:

Whose Fault is it that We All Hate Settlers?
Hatred -- of any group -- does not drop out of the sky like rain. It is cultivated. Let's ask the JTA (the news agency which supplies most American Jewish newspapers) not to cultivate hate and not to falsely accuse settlers of criminal deeds.

Dear Jewish Telegraph Agency, Your website  http://jta.org/about  states that the JTA strives to be "the definitive, trusted global source of ...current events". But this past year you printed a series of 3 one-sidedly negative articles against settlers which does not fit this description.

I am told that Mattot Arim www.mattotarim.organ Israeli grassroots organization, has approached you several times regarding the most distasteful "fact" presented in your series:  "[R]adical settlers ...have ...thrown acid at Israeli soldiers" http://jta.org/news/article/2009/06/24/1005829/behind-the-headlines-radical-jewish-settlers. I understand that Mattot Arim told you they have carefully looked into this matter with the Hebron spokesperson, the Shomron Council spokesperson, Women in Green founder Nadia Matar, Gush Katif spokesperson and others and all believe that this allegation is not factual.

I also understand that you (the JTA) have claimed that an un-named Israel Police spokesperson made this allegation to you and you merely reported it. Could you, the JTA, possibly confirm this to me by return email. This will allow the un-named spokesperson's behavior to be raised in the Israeli Knesset or cabinet by Mattot Arim. Could you also write to the Israel Police, inform them that the information they gave you has been challenged and ask them to corroborate their allegation by providing the JTA in writing some elementary details regarding their allegation (copy of the chemical analysis performed if any, who (names, dates) purportedly witnessed these events, were any soldiers purportedly injured and if so where are the medical reports, etc.).

Or, since it's Yom Kippur season -- the traditional apology season -- could you simply publish a correction and apology indicating that no facts are available to support this allegation so it is hereby retracted until further notice! I look forward to hearing from you, sincerely, Robin Ticker

Dear Jewish Print Media,

You are Jewish aren't you?... and some of you are even Orthodox and Chareidi....

Why  bring your news from treif sources even if they call themselves Jewish?  Can't you syndicate from the following Kosher sources regarding Settlements in Judea and Samaria? A Palestinian State has its ideological partner with Nazi Germany.  Settlement in Judea and Samaria has its ideological roots in the Torah.  Why isn't your news waking up the Jewish People that the Land of Israel is our entitlement based on our Jewish Heritage?  Front Page Coverage of Women in Green and Matot Arim will tell the authentic Jewish news. Netanyahus handshake with Abbas is newsworthy but so is the fact that he is willing to negotiate away Land that does not belong to him making this agreement as well as Oslo null and void based on Biblical entitlement. Freezing Jewish Settlement in Judea and Samaria  and removing outposts indicates weakness in our ideological religious and historical conviction and claim to our Land. (The Land belongs to G-d and He chooses to whom he will give it.  First Rashi of Breishit). Yasher Koach to 5TJewish Times for their news coverage....

Why would anyone think that we should be at war with such nice, peaceful
Muslims?!

All Christians need to know. You need to forward this one to everyone!
These pictures tell it all!

Is this a sign of possible Religious Wars ???

Muslims have stated that England will be the first country they take over!

These are pictures not shown on American TV or in American Newspapers ,

Fwd: Shall we outlaw the Jewish siddur (prayerbook)? by Nadia Matar Shall we outlaw Torah and Jewish Holidays? (ps by faigerayzel)

bs"d

My supportive comments to Nadia's letter to radio host Tali Lipkin-Shahak of Galei Tsahal who suggested one should "limit the freedom of speech of the fringe right wing Jewish extremists who call for the building of the Temple" :

While we are at it.... Shall we then outlaw the study of Torah which is constantly referencing the Temple Mount.  How about outlawing Rosh Hashana when we read about the Akeida  that occurred on Temple Mount and Yom Kippur whose Musaf prayer talks about the Avoda of the Kohanim and the Kohein Gadol that takes place on Temple Mount and the Holiday of Sukkot which involves pilgramage to Jerusalem to offer sacrifices on Temple Mount.  I suppose for Tali Lipking Shahak there is no point in remembering all of that. It might incite the "right wing Jewish extremists" to try to "chadesh Yameinu KeKedem", restore what we once had.

Once we start with limiting  freedom of speech of "right wing Jewish extremists"  who wish to rebuild the Temple there are no end of possibilities..

Shall we outlaw the Jewish siddur (prayerbook)?
by Nadia Matar

Translation of Hebrew letter written to radio host Tali Lipkin-Shahak of Galei Tsahal:

Shalom Tali,

In reaction to your interview with Minister Dan Meridor this morning on Galei Tsahal (Wednesday, October 7, at about 9:10 am) in which you suggested that one should "limit the freedom of speech of the fringe right wing Jewish extremists who call for the building of the Temple" and thus incite the Arabs to violence, I would like to give you an idea:

Why don't you suggest instead to make the Jewish siddur (prayerbook) illegal for its "inciteful" content? As I assume you know, a very large portion of the prayers talk about our longing and the need to rebuild the Temple.

No, not a few "Jewish extremists" talk about rebuilding the Temple but millions of Jews, in Israel and abroad, who pray three times a day, longing for the rebuilding of the Temple.

"Sheyibane Bet Hamikdash" (May the Temple be built) are not empty verses we say, but we actually mean it!

So, Tali, as someone who seems to worry very much about the rights of the poor, poor, violent Arabs and not about the right of the Jews to their holiest place, which is the Temple Mount and not the Kotel (as even Meridor pointed out to you in the interview), you have two options:

·  to suggest making the siddur illegal
·  to put in administrative detention millions of Jews who might have the hutzpa to pray from that "inciteful" prayerbook

All this, of course, in order to make sure not to upset the feelings of the very sensitive Arabs.

It is with great sadness that we still have radio hosts who don't understand that we are at war with a bitter Arab enemy. That Arab enemy davka does understand what Uri Zvi Greenberg wrote years ago: "Whoever controls the Temple Mount, controls all of Erets Israel"

I would love to have a cup of coffee with you and give you a tour of areas that you probably never set foot in, the mountains of Judea and Samaria, where our forefathers lived and where all of Jewish history took place. From the mountains of Judea and Samaria, we who live here watch over you down there in Gush Dan. The fact that we live here in our Biblical Homeland is what protects you Tel Avivians and the rest of the country, and prevents you from being bombarded by Arab katyushot and missiles.

With warm wishes of a chag sameach and fervent prayers that G-d will give us the opportunity to rebuild our Temple on the Temple Mount,

Nadia Matar

Hamas repeats threat to capture more "Shalits"

Khaled Mashaal repeats message of Hamas video animations
mocking Israeli hostage Gilad Shalit
 and threatening more kidnappings

by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik

Following the release of the Gilad Shalit video in exchange for 20 Palestinian female terrorists who were involved in attempted murder, Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal has repeated the organization's threats to kidnap more soldiers. Hamas sees the release as vindication of its kidnapping-for-hostage policy.

Mashaal said:
"The resistance, which has succeeded in capturing Gilad Shalit, keeping him alive and well for more than three years, giving him proper treatment, and excelling in conducting indirect negotiations, is capable of capturing [another] Shalit and [another] Shalit and [another] Shalit, until not a single prisoner will remain in the enemy's jails."
["Palestine Information Center" - Hamas website, Oct. 2, 2009]

The following documentation was publicized by PMW in its bulletin of Sept. 30th, 2009:

Two video animations showing hostage Gilad Shalit as Hamas's prime leverage for prisoners' release have appeared on Hamas TV. Both applaud the Palestinian kidnapping-for-hostage policy, and advocate more kidnappings of Israeli soldiers.

One animation shows a Hamas child using a stone (symbolizing Gilad Shalit) to scrape away at a chain (symbolizing Israeli prisons) painted on a wall. A song promises that many "Gilads" will be the means to release Palestinian prisoners. The boy tells the chain that the Palestinians are patient and can wait for the chain to break. The boy then drops the stone, and on it appears a picture of Gilad Shalit. The boy tells Shalit that Hamas will be back to "finish the job." The video ends with Shalit crying, and calling "Mommy!"

The second animation shows Gilad Shalit being held prisoner and talking to a Hamas child. The Shalit character says Israel does not care about him, and suggests that the only way for him to be released would be for Hamas to kidnap more soldiers. The child understands that further kidnappings would cause drafted Israelis to refuse to serve in the army out of fear of being kidnapped, and thus scare Israeli leaders  -who otherwise don't care about Shalit - into accepting Hamas's terms.

The following is the transcript of the first Hamas TV animation mocking Israeli hostage Gilad Shalit and promising more kidnappings of soldiers:

(Song) "In the prisons, our heroes cried with joy: Our day of release has come; this land is our country! You [Israelis] will all be 'Gilads'. We'll capture you."
Hamas child uses a stone to scrape away at a chain painted on a wall.
Child [to chain]: "You don't want to break- that's OK. Take your time; we're not in a hurry, we're very patient."
Child drops stone, and image of Gilad Shalit appears on stone.
Child [to stone - Shalit]: "You stay where you are; don't move. Tomorrow we'll be back and we'll finish the job."
(Song) "It is inevitable that the chains will be broken."
[The video ends with the stone - Gilad Shalit - crying: "Mommy!" (in Hebrew)]
[Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas), April 21, 2009]

The following is the transcript of the Hamas TV animation mocking Israeli hostage Gilad Shalit and promoting the kidnapping-for-hostage policy:

Gilad Shalit: "Mommy!"
Hamas child: "Who is it? Gilad [Shalit]? [Child laughs] Poor you! You've been rotting here for 3 years, and no one cares."
Gilad Shalit: "Please release me!"
Hamas child: "Are you asking me to be a collaborator and a traitor, that I'll betray my people and my homeland? Are you crazy!"
Gilad Shalit: "I have an idea: You [Hamas] go and capture more soldiers, they [Israelis] will be afraid and accept your terms to free me."
Hamas child: "Ah, they will free you not because they love you, but to prevent anxiety among your soldiers, so they won't be afraid, and stop their military service."
Gilad Shalit: "True."
Hamas child: "Gilad, stay here, and pray that [Hamas] succeeds in capturing another [soldier], so you'll be freed. Bye."
Gilad Shalit: "Mommy! Mommy! (in Hebrew) Free me!"
[Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas), July 6, 2009]

Both Fatah and Hamas have stated that the kidnapping-for-hostage policy is the Palestinians' most effective tool to force the release of terrorist prisoners. Following are two examples of PA and Hamas ministers advocating kidnapping of Israeli soldiers:

Ashraf Al-Ajrami, PA Minister of Prisoners:
"The language of peace and negotiations is not enough to urge Israel to cooperate positively regarding prisoners. The way Israel likes, it seems, is to exchange [prisoners] with kidnapped Israeli soldiers."
[PA TV (Fatah), June 5, 2008]

Said Siam, PA Minister of Interior (Hamas):
"In the past, Hamas succeeded in kidnapping many Zionist soldiers. From among our forces there are thousands of prisoners. They (the forces) have to think how to free these prisoners, and I believe that there is no alternative but to kidnap soldiers to exchange for them.
Hamas has kidnapped 10 soldiers.
There is nothing the Resistance cannot do. When there is a goal and a good plan, the goal can be achieved, especially about prisoners, which is top priority.
During the PA administration, Hamas has succeeded in kidnapping and hiding bodies, but unfortunately, two bodies were handed over for nothing. When there is a kidnapping, and it is secured, each case at its own time has its own negotiations."
[Abu Dabi TV, June 26, 2006]

It should be noted that months before the Shalit kidnapping, PMW released the Siam speech, and warned that kidnapping-for-hostages was Palestinian policy.

Netanyahu's speech brilliant but then strayed off path....Od Yeshama....

bs"d

When the astronauts landed on the moon they practically missed their target.  They were going in the right direction for so long but at the very last moment due to the conditions on the moon that made the landing difficult they practically missed  it. With G-d's grace, with almost no  time to spare they succeeded in landing.

Netanyahu's speech was brilliant up to the point where he failed to make any equivalence between Fatah and Iran.  Then he strayed from his destination. Because there is no distinction between Iran's ideology, Fatahs ideology and Nazi ideology except one poses a nuclear threat and the other doesn't.

Netanyahu's recognition of a Palestinian State contingent on their acceptance of  Jewish State indicates that he does not understand the purpose and raison d'etres of a Jewish State.  Because if he did, he would understand that a Palestinian State can never actualize the holiness and Kedusha of Eretz Yisroel, Eretz HaKodesh, the Holy Land.

Not just Netanyahu is at fault.   The mindset of the Jewish People including Chareidim, modern orthodox, and secular share this mindset.  It is our stubborn refusal to accept the aspect of Kedushin, sanctity and exclusivity of the partnership with Hashem, Am Yisroel and Eretz Yisroel. A Jewish marriage is holy and has sanctity  One does not share ones wife with another.

Our relationship is holy based on our observance of the Mitzvoth and from this holy and sanctified relationship comes holiness, blessings, peace, and prosperity for the entire world!

Od Yeshama B'Arei Yehuda Uvechutzot Yerushalayim...The prophesy for the future is that the rejoicing of the bride and groom will be heard in the cities of Judah and the outskirts of Jerusalem.

Chag Sameach!.
